Great atmosphere, with 1st class service. The hot towel treatment was the finishing touch on probably the most efficient haircut I’ve had in recent memory. I came in for my appointment & 15-20 minutes later I was done with a fresh, clean cut. I have found my new barber!

Have been coming to this barbershop for two years since I moved to Charlotte. This is the best spot I have found hands down. Always leave looking fresh and the barbers care about you. They ask how my family is doing, give recommendations on whats going on in the community such as events, restaurants, etc. They really make you feel like family.

Went to get my haircut at the place next door to Universal Cuts but they were closed that day for no apparent reason. Left no sign on the door, nothing on the website or nothing. So I sat outside for 45 minutes for nothing. I went to walk back to my car, furious, when David called to me and said he saw me waiting and he’d cut my hair for me. He did an amazing job!! Been going to him ever since. He could have just let me leave but he went out of his way to take care of me. That’s the type of customer service you don’t see often. Got a customer for life.

Sean, the owner, has been the barber for my husband and I for five years. He makes you feel comfortable, schedules appointments and is on time. He asks you what you want and does just that. Very professional!

I called them to check if they had a walk-in available - told me one hour. I went there waited for 90 mins and they kept telling me to be patient. The guy didnt do a good job on the haircut at all - I dont think he understands half number and high fade. Worst thing was he charged 40$ when they charge 25$ for a haircut and didnt even confirm with me how much I was paying. Wouldnt recommend or go here again. Wish there was a 0 star option

Went in there for a simple shape up and the barber tried to over charge me AND did a bad job on my shape up. He was at the back of the shop light skin guy with low cut didn’t get his name. I’ll just stick to my usual shop. only went in here because I was in a hurry.

This barber shop has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced I highly recommend you don’t go here they are thief’s and cut you up when you get your hair cut plus on top of that they over charge. I was told that my hair cut which was only a fade and he fixed my beard was 35 but he secretly charged 37.50 haircuts should be nowhere near 37.50 that’s just crazy so agin I’m earning who ever goes here they are bad barbers

Great barbers. Anybody can give you an excellent cut but my personal barber is Anthony.

Their prices are not posted. My 15 year old got a fade & it cost $18. When I inquired about the high price the barber who stand up front on the left gave me an attitude & asked to to talk to the barber. I did & that barber was polite & gave me his price. The barber at the front on the far left had one of my youngest sons in his chair. I then inquired about the price of his hair & he told me his is normally higher but he would charge me a little less because I appeared new. He also began to tell me they charge the same as Azeal, which is not true. He also cut my sons skin up out of spite. He didnt even clean the hair off of him! He also said, he wouldnt do his best work since he was going to get $15 instead of $17 & he didnt. My sons cut isnt how we asked it to be, one side is cut lower than the other, & his skin needed an antiseptic quick! There were 2 other barbers who were nice to us after witnessing that particular barber provide the worst customer service to a new client. I will continue going to Azeal where the prices are posted & everyone is friendly.

Never go to this establishment. My children waited 3 hours today for a hair cut, an went home as they came in ( no hair cut). The barber did an announcement stating that they opened late due to him having a life besides cutting hair. People started walking out but my children stayed because I was in the car waiting and did not hear the message. Had I heard that my kids would have been gone. The barber was taking everyone who came in after my children because he was very unorganized and I suppose unsure of who came in when. I found that to be weird because I personally walked my children in and greeted the barber. After 3 long hours of waiting I called my kids to get in the car after checking in every 45 mins or so. I was so upset that I wasted my time and my childrens time sitting. My son has an interview so the cut was needed being that my husband and I work throughout the week. The man could have told them the order of cuts or when they will be serviced. When they left out he seemed relieved and when other people walked out as well. I decide to call after I heard about the I have a life other than cutting hair statement and was told that him working on Sunday is a privilege because other shops are closed and we should be grateful. He also stated that my children should have approached him to get a hair cut. I asked how is me paying you for a service a privilege and he responded with did your kids get their hair cut, my response was no and he said exactly and started laughing SMH. I was a prior client at the shop before my barber left and opened his own shop. I will never wait until Sunday again and visit this shop because of the unprofessionalism and disrespect. We pay you!!!! Your bills are piad because of the service you suppose to provide to the customer!! Im so ashamed and bothered by the behavior of the barber. I will make sure the owner finds out!! The barber is the dark skinned male with the long beard. Stay away for him you are not a valued customer you are privilaged person to him and he clearly does not have a real passion for his craft and represents the company is a horrible way!!!
