This barber is absolutely the best barber the kids have ever had. We moved here from California about a year and a half ago. We were so pleased to find someone not too far from my neighborhood. He is very personal with children and a pleasure to speak with. His shop is extremely clean. I would definitely recommend anyone to the shop for a consistent and pleasurable experience.

Single mom of a young boy and had a hard time finding a barber for my son. Came across La Johns Grooming on Style Seat. When I tell you the experience has been nothing short of amazing, Jaye has really been great with my son. At first I would take my son into the shop and sit with him, until one day he told me he’s comfortable going in on his own (literally 2 visits later). Proud momma moment! Finally found a permanent barber in Jaye, which was the initial goal. So thank you Jaye for the experience.

Jaye has been my barber for over 10 years! His barber work is superior as well as his community service is outstanding! He strives for perfection in entrepreneurship, education, fatherhood and friendship. His studio is clean: sterilized equipment, humidified/purified air flow and clean capes. Amongst everything that has occurred recently, Jaye brought the same positive energy that he always does. He has also adapted his operations to meet the new COVID standard which made me feel very comfortable. And most importantly, he gave me a great cut!

Our first haircut since the stay at home order, we missed Jay! Jay met us at the door with a mask and we had mask as well. He had everything he needed to properly disinfect before and after each appointment.

I have been in charlotte for five years . I finely found someone that is great at cutting my hair . John is a very personable and really cares about his clients.

Beware of barber who hypes himself to be so good. This barber is mediocre at best!! Not sure whose pics are on his site but he cannot do a fade or line up to save his life. He also takes all your money for no show since in his crooked world nothing happens. Loved the location but its back to great clips!! No wonder customers have to pay before the service . If you need $15 that badly, it tells me your days are numbered because you know nothing about repeat customers/business!!
