I was looking for a new barber/shop for my young nephew. I am very adamant about his hair. I was referred by many but one referral was to Kut N Kings by someone, so I took a look at the reviews, noticed someone said they travel all the way from SC to these guys so I decided to give them a try. We went to a guy by the name of Aries and he was the truth. My nephew said he liked him and he never comes out and says that unless you stand out. Not to mention, he was feeling the new haircut the whole way home! Lol. I was also loving it. They are a very professional atmosphere. You feel comfortable coming in and sitting there, even just to wait on someone. No profanity, none of that. I appreciate this place and I will be back! Thank you gentlemen!

Long Story Short! I called this barber and gave him a brief description of the cut I wanted and what kind of hair I had. Prior to my cut I had long thick 4c hair. He said he could do what I requested. I get there and show him the cut and he gets to work. Once he is done, I see it and like it and leave. Few days later I wash and blow dry my hair (whats left anyways) per usual and I notice that my hair is cut totally uneven in various spots! I am highly upset. If you knew that you couldn’t give me the cut I wanted and do it the right way then you should have politely told me that you couldn’t! I understand my hair is thick and if that was the problem then you could have asked me to go blow dry it and come back or just told me no you cant do it! Nice dude but your cutting skills not so much!

Very professional. At my appointment time I was in the chair and not waiting. My hair was so damaged and dry and clipped it so perfectly. The best part, he didnt burn me one time and say it was the heat. I highly recommend Mailk.

Great cut, appointment on time awesome atmosphere, I love the basketball theme they have going on and the kids corner def. Is a life saver so I can actually relax during my cutt. Jokes are welcome but be ready lol. Aries Whitehurst master barber will see get u right.

Master barbers, friendly atmosphere, short wait times, and affordable prices. This place is like a modern take on the classic barbershop setting. Its not like those boujie expensive shops that have been popping up in the malls the past few years where a basic cut will cost you $20 minimum. Shop has multiple TVs that usually have sports highlights, local news or a movie on to keep you entertained while you wait. They even have a kids corner with a TV and activities for the little ones. The shop is always clean, including the restrooms. They usually have 2-4 licenced barbers on duty at any given time. Ive had my hair and beard cut by two of the guys (Gary & Meek) and they always provide precice, quality cuts that I get compliments on when Im out and about. From what Ive observed they cut hair for kids, adults, ladies, and are accustomed to successfully cutting varying hair types (Caucasian, African-American, & Hispanic) Shop hours are great too, theyre open until 7 during the week if you need that after work hook up. Check these guys out if youre in the area.
