I arrived at this location and parked out front. I noticed there was absolutely no one in any of the seats getting a haircut of any kind. I figured Id still call to see if they were accepting walk ins. The lady on the phone was like no but I can at 4. I say no walk ins but you have no one inside currently. But whatever at this point. I wont return or recommend this locstion.

Great spot you will find all the locals at. Excellent food, great service at the bar or dining in. Really reasonable drink prices! Check out the outdoor seating overlooking the lake.

The owner, Rodica, is very kind. She was very accommodating to my husband, who is disabled and very high risk for Covid. He hadnt had a haircut for 8 months, he is very pleased.

I usually go to a barbershop nearby where I reside in Matthews for my haircut. Last week, I needed a last minute hair cut after work in South Charlotte and stopped by this place to check it out. There was only one guy there who I think was the owner. I felt very welcomed and was very satisfied with the great job he had done with my hair. I could be very picky when it comes to cutting my hair. I wont let just anyone cut it. I strongly believe that I found a new barber that I can go to for cuts. I will definitely be returning here going forward. You sir, gained a new customer. Highly recommend! Thanks.

The best place ever to go get a haircut. I have been going there for 23 years. Its been nice to go into a place that you feel welcomed and is treated like family.

Hands down the worst haircut I have had in a long time. I travel all over the country for work and this dude takes the cake. I would have been better off at cost cutters.

George has been cutting my hair for two decades. Rodica also did a great job while George was out for surgery.

Not sure what type of barber George thinks he is but he isnt the kind of barber that I will ever go to again. He isnt a true barber. He is simply someone who knows how to buzz heads. I asked him to line up my beard and he said he doesnt do that. So, i made him try and he doesnt know how to line up beards, or your hairline. Im very disappointed. You are a barber, which means you should know how to line up beards and hairlines. Oh and he said that he doesnt use striaght razors on the face. If you are used to a real barber, take my advice and dont go to this barber.

Went here for the first time this week as I was looking for a barber close to home. George is a great traditional barber. I will definitely be returning to this hidden gem barbershop.

Absolutely HORRID experience. I came into the barbershop looking to get a decent haircut as an African American male and was immediately looked at as if I was in the wrong establishment. The barber (George) who was on duty that day acted as if he didn’t want to service me and was not comfortable with cutting my hair. I asked for an even all around cut with a line up and he simply put a gauge on the clippers and provided me with a disgraceful cut and no line up to my hairline or beard whatsoever! Horrible customer service! Not sure this guy is a barber at all but rather some old gentleman who decided to open a barbershop! Would not recommend to my worse enemy!
