This review is long overdue. I met a car dealer at Petes to have a pre-purchase inspection performed. They inspected the car, which looked beautiful and we were going to buy that day. But Pete took me aside after the car dealer left and warned me not to buy the car and told me numerous reasons why it would be trouble for me down the road. He spent much time dumbing it down for me so I really understood the risk to purchasing this car. Very honest folks that spent much much time educating me and preventing me from making a mistake. Thank you Pete for saving us from buying a lemon!!!

I had my oil changed recently at a AAA shop in Pineville. They came up with a list of 5 major repairs that they said needed to be done to my car that totaled $4500.00+. I then took my car to Petes Auto and learned that the only repair that I needed was a CV Axle assembly which cost less than $500. Pete inspected the rest of my car to make sure everything else was in good condition. The repair was excellent, done quickly and at a fair price. I would highly recommend Petes Auto Service.

Big mistake even attempting to give this place my business. Never again! I took my vehicle here and he attempted to fail my inspection for the tint on the back window. I explained to him that I have had my car for 3 years and purchased it from the dealership that way and have NEVER heard anything about the tint being too dark. My vehicle has been inspected at various places and has never failed. He then suggested I take it to have the tint removed and then bring it back. I took it right up the street to the original location where I was scheduled to go to in the first place and guess what... my vehicle PASSED. I asked the mechanics to please look at my my window to let me know if it was illegal or not so I can take it back to the dealership if needed. I havent added any extra things to my car, everything on it is how I got it from the dealership. He inspected it and told me that it was well within in the legal limit! Sucks because I ended up having to pay double just trying to support the local business, when I shouldve just continued to go to the franchise business as planned in the first placed.

After missing my initial appointment, Pete was incredibly accommodating and gave me exceptional service on my car. Thank you, Pete!

Just by chance, I was referred to Petes Auto because my vehicle was misdiagnosed by another shop.They told me that they could not repair my car for that particular issue. The front desk associate from another shop gave me the ultimate referral to Petes Auto Shop. Not only did they make the right diagnosis for my car, they offered me customer service like no other. With that being said I am a satisfied customer who would rate Petes Auto better than on a scale from 1-5 the service deserves a 10!

I went here for the first time for an oil & filter change. Pete the owner himself took care of me and my car. The place is nice, clean, and neat. Pete was very nice, and informative. He even told me what other repairs my car needs that I did not get done, but need to be done. This is my new car service place to go to now. Just call and make an appointment first. I didnt know but he still attended to me.

I dont even think 5 stars is enough for this company. If I could give them 10 I would. They treat their customers like friends more so than just customers. They really do all that they can to help you fix your vehicle and keep it working as best as it can. This is the only mechanic I would ever recommend because its the only mechanic I trust. Pete is awesome! I just bought a used vehicle and needed tires because mine had horrific dry rot from the car sitting. He and the other mechanics took such good care of us. He told me everything that needed to be fixed. I bought tires, had them balanced and got an alignment for a very affordable price. He also told me everything that was fine with my car as well as things that need to be replaced without any “salesman pressure” to get it done immediately. Instead he made me feel comfortable with getting the repairs done gradually. Lastly, the price he quoted over the phone was the same price I paid afterwards! I will definitely return here for my repair needs. Thanks you guys!

This is a very good and fair prices shop. They will give you what you need and nothing more. Had a vehicle before now that had a lot of problems. Was advised that they could fix it, but money would be better spent getting another vehicle. Thats honesty

I cant say enough great things! Excellent and outstanding service! My vehicles are serviced and drive like new once they are done (and my cars are each over 15yrs old!) They are very thorough and considerate. They let me know exactly whats wrong with my cars and how much it will be before any work gets done. Never a surprise at the end. They also let me know what to anticipate is coming as far as repairs and service for my vehicles so I can plan ahead. Im never disappointed when I leave there and I love the family feeling of Pete and his sons working together. It makes me feel like a family visit rather than just dropping my car off for service. I recently experience a none working A/C in my 2004 Mercedes Benz S500. Tried several other shops, including the dealership and their prices were a little steep. Spoke with Pete about the A/C problem and he said they could remove and replace the blower motor and parts associate with the problem. After thoroughly diagnosing the situation, not only did Mike and Pete correct the problem they also informed me of other faulty parts, corrected them and let me see the source of the problems to assure my satisfaction and knowledge of what was done. The A/C now works perfectly!Petes Auto Service does excellent work. I have already made referrals to a friend who has been searching for a good auto service shop who offers good car service at an affordable prices, as well as good customer service. Ill be honest: They are NOT the cheapest! However, they still easily earn 5 stars. They are brutally honest with you, and theyll tell you when its worth the fix or if you need to ditch your ride. They do excellent work, and theyve thrown in several freebies for me, as well. If something goes wrong with a repair, they fix it. Hands-down, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Pete himself greets you with a smile each time.

My car broke down and this was the closest shop. I am so happy that I was close. He was great! Excellent customer service and fast. He even explained to me that my car was in very bad shape and it would cost a lot to fix. I decided to just but a new car, but I will get any future services needed done by Petes!

Amazing service! I was out of town and broke down, and these guys took amazing care of my car and me. I couldnt afford full repairs (old hybrid battery) and they took the time to explain the issue and work out a solution that would get me home safely. Friendly and helpful. Took 1.5hrs for oil change and tire rotation at a rate of $60 for my ford focus. Firestone was cheaper ($45) and faster. Very nice but for what Im getting done Firestone is a better option.

Petes Auto Service has taken care of my auto needs for about seven or eight years. I would not take my car to any other Auto Service. The people there are very professional and knowledgeable. They always give you the best service possible at the most reasonable cost. I have recommended them to many of my friends. Pete and his son, Nic make you feel welcome and are very trustworthy. I moved across town from the shop about three years ago, but I always drive back to Petes when my car needs attention.

I just had my vehicle serviced here today and had a great experience! The gentleman working in the office, Jorge, was nice, professional, and straight to the point. They did a diagnostic test on my vehicle and called to let me know what the problem was before they did any work. They accepted my warranty without any issues. Repairs were completed in a timely fashion and they provided me with a printout of the things Ill need to follow-up with soon, like tires, rotation, etc. Im not a car expert at all, and I can sometimes feel intimidated when going to a mechanic without my boyfriend. I felt more than comfortable at Petes Auto and I will return. I am in no way affiliated with Petes Auto and I am extremely critical, so trust that they are good because I wouldnt be taking the time to write this review if they were anything less than stellar!!!

Would recommend to everyone!! I came In today’s for my second oil change with Pete’s auto, and was again blown away by their customer service. Not only was my service excellent, I watched them go out of their way to offer to drive another waiting customer home, and to a Dr’s appointment while her car was being serviced. In the past at other places I have felt taken advantage of and have been offered services I felt were not needed. At Pete’s, I really feel they honestly address all of your concerns, while not trying to pawn other unnecessary parts/services off on you. They genuinely want your car to be safe and in working order. For this and many other reasons, I will continue to come here even though it’s a bit of a drive.

RIP off str8 up!!!Charged $2768.00Brakes all tha way around which within 2 or maybe 3 months had 2 replace front again an less than 6months later had 2 replace back..Also he replaced 3 of the 6 plugs, not even all 6 thats it..Less than a yr later needed to replace plugs an wires... 2001 Acura TL is what I drive........

Pete and his crew are the best! They rebuilt my mercedes convertible engine after it hydrolocked and its has never run better. Pete made sure everything was perfect before okaying me to pick it up. Recently I wanted to buy a used car. Petes checked out the car for me, pointing out that it needed about $2000 in basic maintenance to bring it up to acceptable standards. That kept me from paying way too much. I may still buy the car, but to date havent gotten the seller to reduce his price enough to compensate me for making the repairs. I am very grateful for Pete and Niks expert advice and expect to always bring my cars to them.Went back with a second car to be evaluated. It was in good shape and I bought it. Petes will take care of it for me, just as they have done for the past 13 years on my old car. This is the garage for me!

I tried Petes Auto,.... Lawyers Rd based on recommendations here and was thoroughly disappointed. They are crooks and I would not ever go there again!!! they told me I needed items replaced that were just replaced on my vehicle. Told me I had a dead battery that needed replacing after they left the ignition on overnight without turning it off. they are crooks - do not ever use them.horrible experience!!!

Hes very honest streight forward the prices are worth the peace of mind to know your vehicals are fixed i had a 1996 Ford taurus he repaired for me since 2005 and it was still running when i sold it . needless to say when my new car warrenty exspires it will be Pete who repairs this car to.

Took my Mercedes Benz s 550 here to have an alignment and lower arm replaced...my car is still out of line and I still here the noise coming from my front drives side wheel. The bushings should have been replaced but I dont think this was done after doing my research...Very friendly people, but I want this issue fixed especially after spending a little over $1000.00 with them.
