Josh was great. As I waited on my tires to be installed, I saw him offer friendly service and honest recommendations. I saw him work to meet customer’s budgets with what seemed to me to be fair and reasonable pricing.

We made an appointment at 2pm. My wife called and they told her to come in early. She arrived and then was told that the wait was 2-3 hours. She went home and when she called back a few hours later she was told that they were finishing up her car as they spoke on the phone. She arrived one hour later and they had not even touched her car. Dishonest service.

Yesterday I was out in Charlotte when I ran over the screw or screws. ($$&?*) Within 6 minutes I had a flat tire that I purchased 3 months ago from Mavis but at a different location. When I finally arrived, The person behind the counter was nice, patient and very helpful. He helped me find a tire for my car got it installed and within a few hours I was on my way. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME WHEN I WAS HAVING A BAD DAY!!! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

The staff here is respectful and very considerate. They went out of their way to get all of the parts quickly so I didn’t have to worry about coming back another day. Mavis Tires and Brakes on Park Road extension was great and fast. They were able to knock out 4 jobs on my Accord in an afternoon. Four new tires, all brake pads replaced, brake fluid change and an alignment. Thank you Jake and team at Mavis. Will come back for certain.

This was my first time using Mavis. I only decided to try them out because my normal place didnt have the tires I needed. As I always do when buying tires, I go online, find the tires I want, and schedule an appointment. As I was scheduling the appointment, it gave me an option of dropping off, night dropping the vehicle, or scheduling an appointment. I chose to schedule since I was just buying 4 tires. When I arrived and checked in, I was told it could take 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete the work. My normal place is usually done in under an hour, so already I was disappointed. 3 hours later, I was still waiting. Eventually my tires were on, they seemed to be right, and I was able to leave. Everyone was very friendly, but when the sign says tires I expect a certain level of proficiency at the installation of the product. Also, if you give me the option of scheduling an appointment, the clock starts at my appointment time. I gave 3 stars since everyone was super nice and the tires were right when I got them, but I dont plan on returning.

The guy I dealt with was very nice. That being said it took three hours to have three tires replaced and a front end alignment. That is crazy. It should have taken an hour at the most. Be prepared to wait quite a while if you are getting tires here.

Took my wifes car in to get it looked over. Store Manager came out to talk to me let me know what was needed and what to do first.

I brought my car into Mavis today to get a 2nd opinion on brakes and rotors. After a routine oil change with Precision they said I need brakes and rotors . Mind you I only had the car for 3 months. Made an appointment and brought my car in and guess what they said whoever told you you needed brakes and rotors didnt know what they were talking about! Those guys over there at Mavis are awesome!! They saved me so much money. Thomas (mechanic), Marvin(Asst manager) and Justin(Manager). I was being cheap going to Precision for an oil change but no more. I will go to Mavis and pay the extra couple dollars because the service is great and they make sure you walk out satisfied with what was done to your car. I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of because Im a woman thinking they can tell me anything and just take my money. They actually care about the work they do and the customer. Im a customer from now on.. Thank you Mavis!! I will be back next month to check to make sure everything is everything on my car! That Mavis crew over there in Pineville are lit!! BEWARE!! I took my Mercedes to this location yesterday and was told they found multiple punctures in my tire. To my knowledge I only had one nail in my tire which wasn’t even causing my my tire to deflate. They also told me that I would need a tire replacement, which obviously my tire type runs very expensive. After reading reviews for this location I decided to get a second opinion by a company I have trusted for years. The very next morning I took my car to discount tire and within 45 min they were able to patch my tire free of charge! If you’re coming here GET a second opinion before being overcharged for services you may not even need. It seems that from the reviews on Google, this place tries to get over on younger people. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

I was in a tight spot today and ended up having to get all new brakes and rotors, rear struts and a patched tire as well as some fluid servicing. Lorenzo at the Mavis off of Park Rd. In Charlotte was extremely helpful. I have NEVER had that level of service from a mechanic in my life. He kept me informed the whole time of where they were in the service and walked me back to see my car and show me why he was recommending the services he was. Amazing location and will continue to provide my business to Mavis for auto repairs!

I purchased two new tires from here on March 28th. Within in less than a month, one of my tires was flat. I took my tire back to Mavis expecting a quick fix or new tire. After dropping off my car, I was called a hour and a half later. The gentleman I spoke with told me that the tire had a hole that was not fixable and because I didn’t have road hazard warranty that I’d have to buy a new tire completely. When I purchased both tires I was NEVER offered to add on any warranty for anything. The guy that originally helped me made sure to ask if I wanted to add on an all other services that would take more of my money but never mentioned a simple road hazard warranty that would’ve saved me money now. I then told them to put my spare tire on and I would take my business elsewhere. After another hour of waiting for my car and no call back saying it was ready, I went back up there. I was told that they STILL hadn’t gotten to my vehicle to put the donut on my car. You would think they would be trying to make up for the terrible service and at least send me on my way. But because I wasn’t paying for a new tire, I was thrown to the back of the line for service. I spoke with the manager that ended up putting my donut on after listening to the situation and not being able to help in any other way possible. He mentioned that he wasn’t there the day I bought the tires as if quality of service would’ve been different if he were working. How about properly training your employees so that customers don’t miss out on important add-ons and services ? As I waited for them to put my donut on, another mechanic had time to come hangout and talk to another employee and customer about nothing related to work. So there was MORE than enough time to throw my donut on and send me on my way hours ago. I waited for over 3.5 hours to just get my donut on my vehicle. I will never spend my money with this company again.

Last Saturday I was out of town in Charlotte visiting when I got a nail in my tire. Back at home I go to NTB to handle all my tire services so I called the NTBs in Charlotte first to see if I could get a patch on my tire bc the nail was in the middle of my tread. All the NTBs in Charlotte were booked/closing so I call over to Mavis to see if they had availability to help me and they did. They man I spoke to on the phone was really polite so I give one star for him having good customer service.I drop my car off and the next day I get a call saying not only can they not patch my tire bc the nail was “too close to the edge” but they inform that I need not only one but TWO new back tires. That was very odd to me bc just the day before I was at the NTB in my home city to get a new tire (who I trust) and they said nothing of the sorts. I ask the man at Mavis again is there any short term fixes that can be done so I can get home bc I live a hour and a half away. He keeps saying no and insists that I need two new tires and that I would have to wait a day to get them bc they needed to be delivered from their concord store. I tell them no and to just put my spare tire on my car.When I got home Monday I took my car to NTB and had them look at my tire and they were able to patch it for $23 and said that I in fact did NOT need 2 newtires as urgently as the man at Mavis said I did. I felt deceived and lied to by the people at Mavis and not only that I explained to him that I lived an hour away and they kept on persisting that they hold my car for an extra day to wait on tires?? It’s very unfortunate that auto shops will try to get over on women bc they think they don’t know anything about cars. Two new tires would’ve cost me around $300 when all I needed was a $23 patch. Very disappointed with this place to try an up sell a service.

I left this one star a few months ago when these people claim to have fixed my Volvo which is a 2006 which I maintain throughout the years my check engine light was on the day I picked it up I brought it back the next day they told me that they put a part in my car they forgot to charge me for which was another $395 after paying $1,400 the day before! I drove away that day also I check engine still on after having my vehicle for 4 days and then for another day after returning it after the weekend I picked it up it has never acted right since and now is really doing the same thing it did when they said they fixed a few months ago dont bring your vehicle to Griffin Brothers save yourself time stress and tons of money$$$$$

My daughters tire shredded on the highway and we were trying everwhere to find a tire. When we called the gentleman who answered was very nice and told us to come on in theyll get us a new tire on our rim as fast as they could. When we got there Steve was not only helpful but excited to help us. Our whole experience was no fuss or muss, got a new tire on our rim in less than 20 minutes. They were helpful and Steve was amazing, thank you so much for the great experience to an otherwise bad day! You really helped us out!

Amazing!! Company as a whole but the Park Rd. location is above far my favorite. Jhmad, Nick, Justin, Adam. Everyone has went out of their way to make sure my family car is SAFE. Its about safety for me. Customer Service is the job description but this entire staff was concerned about making sure my family stayed safe by providing well need care to the car, offered to provide transportation back home. I am fairly new to Charlotte and have been to The typical firestone, Midas and dealers for service but have been really letdown by them all. I was a mechanic for 6 years and they tried to lie to me, used the failing of inspection above my head to increase sales and used creative scheduling methods to turn appointments into all day events. I was told by a friend to try Mavis for a flat tire on a Saturday afternoon so I went there. I was truly surprised, the place was clean and the people were honest. They told me 2 hours and the had it done in under 1 hour and didn’t want me to pay anything. They actually said they wanted my business. Thank you again and I will be back.

Tire and car problems are never fun but all of the men here made it as great as it could be. I went to the Park Road location but they didn’t have my size so they sent me here. As soon as I walked in everyone greeted me so kindly and smiling. I had a nail in my tire and unfortunately needed a new one because of the position. The staff was very knowledgeable, courtesy and thorough throughout the entire process. The place was very clean with a large waiting room. The price was to be expected but the service is what really sold me. I noticed everyone checked on me, and was just so nice. The service was also completed in a timely manner. I would most definitely recommend this location for all your tire needs.

Went to the store in Pineville, NC with a tire low on air. Kelley came out right away, saw my problem (a nail) and fixed it very fast. Reasonably priced & courteous service. Actually the 2nd time I have been there. Same great price & service both times.

Highly recommend. They were very open, upfront, and honest the whole time. They took the time to show what needed to be replaced, explained why it should be done and what the options were even if they didnt have it available. The best thing I can say is they are willing to help and knowledgeable. They dont want you to spend money on any unnecessary repairs and will take the time to talk through why. Ill be returning for all my upcoming part replacements and routine maintenance.

Last Sunday morning my car had a flat tire (thanks to a nail). The car was towed to Mavis and the guys there were just great. They were very accommodating even though they were backed up. While there were several small aggravations (couldnt find wheel lock key), these guys came through with flying colors! I highly recommend.

The service and efficiency was top notch. I left with news that I need a $3k repair but still with a smile on my face. Everyone I interacted with was happy to help me, positive, honest, and made for a great experience. I was quoted a 30 minute wait but provided the news much sooner than that. They explained everything to me in detail and gave me realistic expectations.Jarrett was excellent. He gave me a thorough explanation of the part’s function that needed replaced and why it was and was not important to fix. He said he would be happy to fix it today or another day but that it may never need replacing at all. He assured me I am safe without getting the part replaced. He then fixed my car — a few minutes later an unrelated part of my car malfunctioned while I was nearby the store — free of charge and with hesitance to accept the few bucks I wanted to give him.

This is the second time Ive taken my car into the shop and the guys are always so friendly and approachable. It obviously means a lot that they try and help you out wherever they can, but they just seem honest and genuine. You can tell they enjoy their work and enjoy helping people. I will definitely continue to take my car here for services. Thanks so much especially to Tripp and the other young gentleman with the koi fish tattoo on his forearm (sorry, cant remember his name!). My experience at this location was very pleasant. I called Ferrell and explained my situation & he took care of me. As expected, it did take some time to get to my car but I have no complaints. They provided a CLEAN wait area with a TV, Drinks & a play area to keep me and my little one occupied. GREAT JOB, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!

I visited today for a tire repair and was impressed with the service, quality and pricing. I called ahead and was told they could get me in right away. I was there within a few minutes and a few minutes later, my car was pulled into the bay. They said it would take about 30 minutes and they did what they said. I was very pleased with their customer service and ability to keep their promise. I was also impressed with the pricing which was well below what I was expecting. I will be back again whenever any of my vehicles need new tires.

I gave this place a 5star review a few years ago and co tinier to bring my vehicles here for service and tire for years. However, after today no more. I came in to have an oxygen sensor replaced on my truck. This was a Diagnosis they made a few months back and I just now had the time to get it done. I called in and shared what needed to be done based on their diagnosis. I spoke with Tripp. He said bring it in and I did. When I got here the first guy I spoke with said that they he need more info on what oxygen sensor needed to be replaced and that the could not diagnose it. Then, Tripp came in and began to escalate the situation by raising his voice and arguing with me. I just left. I can’t believe I just got yelled at by the manager of the shop!! I will never come here again and advise you take your vehicle elsewhere.

Brought my car in after I had a flat. Mavis said my brakes needed work. Got the work done. The very next time the car was driven the brakes were GONE! None! Nada. Coasted into their parking lot since I was near by. Mavis said it was a new issue and nothing to do with what they fixed. Im not buying that but fine. Can it be fixed? The *store manager* left to get me a quote and didnt return. Another customer who overheard the conversation told me to call AAA and leave. Some time later my husband arrived to check on me. He then left the store to sit in his car before pulling off. The *Store manager* walked right past me to go outside the store to my husband in his car with the windows up to tell him about the car. Like I wasnt even there. Like I had not been the one to coast into their lot, the one who asked the questions, the only person the manager had talked with until that point. When I confronted the manager he said it was just bringing who he could only assume to be my husband up to speed on the car. I called AAA right away. The AAA operator called the store to ask permission to tow the car and reported back they were also rude to her. Not sure if this store has an issue with strong women or just women in general but ladies, find an actual repair shop when you need service. This place doesnt care for us.

I came in on Monday prepared to purchase at least 2 tires they said nope you just need the 1 tire plugged otherwise they are all in great shape asked if I could come back on Tuesday I did they repaired and DID NOT CHARGE ME 😳😳😍😍 SO THANKFUL will be back when I need those tires. They lied to me from the start, even before I came down to the shop the said they had a special going on for $240 for 4 new tires plus installation when I came down it came down to be 320++ I said it ok you can do the job they said it was going to take longer than usual that I had to wait for 1 or 2 hours i told them it was good I’m going home and I’ll be back in 2 hours I came back almost 3 hours later and seen My car parked in the same place untouched when I asked the man at the counter he said my car was next and still took 1 hour more

DO NOT USE! Somehow, these guys - in the process of working on our cars - have created other problems while doing so. They might fix the issue you came in with, but theyll create a new one so you have to go back and have *it* fixed. This has happened THREE TIMES to me and my family. We will never go back, and I implore you to never use them so you dont experience the same frustrations we have had.

I brought my car in end of September 2019 because I needed 4 new tires badly. I was then informed that I needed new brakes and rotors because mine were locked up. The manager, Trip, noticed my discomfort by the amount piling up and did what he could to make it a lot better. I had a great experience.Fast forward to today, November 2019, and I brought my car in because the tires were low. I wanted to see if something was wrong, or chalk it up to the weather changing. I went to bring my car around and my battery decided at the right moment to die. Thankfully Trip was there this time, remembered me, and hooked me up with a new battery within minutes. It wasn’t an expense I wanted to spend today, but I am happy my battery died when it did.While I’m weary of getting my car worked on at almost anywhere, I am happy to have Trip help me out both times and I will continue to go to Trip with any other car issues.

Spoke to someone 20min ago, they told me to come now and he can get 4 new tires on in a few hours. I drive all the way here and was told at the front desk that they cant accommodate that and if I left it they could get to it tomorrow. Unprofessional, RUDE, PLEASE BE CAREFUL USING MAVIS!Long story short…. I was at Mavis for a simple brake job and two front tire replacements. When the service was done I noticed that both front wheels were chipped and no one mentioned this to me. I immediately brought it to the managers attention and he said he would take care of the problem. He asked me to leave my car one full day and he would have someone fix the wheels. Well due to the damage of the wheels they could not be fixed. So he asked for a invoice from my dealership, so they coudl order the wheels direct from my dealership. A month later the wheels came in, they were not the original, correct wheels and they were dented, not ordered from the dealer. I later spoke with the Regional Manager and he assured me they would re order the wheels from my dealership.. a week later the wheels came in and they were the exact same wheels. They were almost forcing me to accept these wheels which were clearly not the same. Needless to say the regional manager does not want to take accountability and I am know seeking other measures. MAVIS is a untrustworthy company, who does not care for their customers. They have careless workers and MANAGERS. They don’t care about your car and they will give you attitude and not acknowledge their errors. The manager Trip and the Regional Manager are very arrogant and untrustworthy.

Had four tires installed and balanced on my Toyota. I explained I was leaving on a trip the next day and needed the work to be done properly. They said they would test drive the car to make sure all was done properly. They said they had the latest road force balancing technology. They took two hours, longer than I think is necessary. They didnt test drive the car. My wife observed it was pulled directly from the bay to the door for her. When we got out on the freeway, we couldnt drive faster than 60 without SEVERE vibrations. Then when I called them the next day from Atlanta, their warranty service allowed me to take it to another shop. Another lost two hours. These folks balanced them perfectly in 90 minutes. They said the problem was that my tires had not been balanced. I dont recommend this shop for anything.

Danger, Will Robinson. Mavis Discount Tire purchased Griffin Brothers, and since then, our customer experience has been severely lacking. The Park Road location has suffered severe turnover and our recent service reflected it. We went in for an inspection and tire rotation and came out with a car that did not run. We later found out that our car had to be jumpstarted to get it out of the garage. That information was not shared with us. Very curious for a company in the car repair business. After driving away and parking the car, we were unable to start our vehicle. Coincidence? Maybe, but passing on something as important as the car not starting prior to returning it strikes me as an important detail. Subsequent inquiries to the manager went nowhere. They have lost our business after being loyal customers of that location for years. Sad outcome for what was once a really great company.

Came late they waited for me very courteous I came late the second time to pick a vehicle up they waited for me I would recommend this place to all of my family and friends. The manager Justin customer service its up there in Mars

A small piece of sharp steel punctured my front tire about a mile away from Mavis in rush hour traffic. I had just been to my mechanic for engine trouble so it was not my week. Thankfully, Mavis was right around the corner and I was able to drive there just as my tire deflated. They took my car right back even though it was almost closing time. They were able to patch it thankfully as I had a warranty with another shop for replacement. The staff were friendly and efficient. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. When I went to pay for the service, they waived the fee. These guys have no idea how they totally redeemed my day after the week I had. Trying to find an honest mechanic is almost as hard as finding an honest lawyer. But these guys are legit, I highly recommend.

Griffin Brothers has serviced my vehicles since about 1998. Over that time Ive owned 8 foreign and domestic cars. Griffin has taken care of everything from routine routine oil changes, to factory recommended maintenance, new tires and batteries, brakes, and all the rest. Each experience has been professional, fairly priced, and done within the promised time. Ive never been pressured or sold anything I didnt need - like at some local car dealerships. Nice folks with convenient locations and hours too.
