Very unhappy with all that happened, went to get a new starter for my car and it was replaced in a timely fashion and a job well done, however they had left my sun roof and driver side window down and my windows haven’t worked in months if not years, he was very rude and insisted that my car came to the lot with the windows down and there is nothing he could do to fix it without having to charge me a large amount more. I pointed out there was finger prints on my window from what I think is the workers trying to pull my window back up after putting it down. It is to my understanding car places such as AAA have to open a window when they bring it into the shop, which is said reason for it being opened, however I’m not too sure why they even touched my sun roof, i also saw oil marks and disgusting spotty dirty marks on my driver side door as well. And if all that wasn’t enough they went through my car and were touching receipts that wasn’t even from AAA. They will not fix it and told me “if the windows are broken how did we put them down”. I’m not too sure but you do work at a mechanic shop and have tools to do so as I do not. The windows were up on arrival because they do not work. They put them down and they don’t want to put labor and time into something they messed up. Poor business and inadequate customer service. Was also very angry about my door and how dirty they left it, oil fingerprints everywhere, even some of the cloth has changed color. Absolutely disgusted....
I love the service I get from one of the gentlemen who works the Car Care desk there. Hes always so helpful, friendly, professional, and in my mind, goes above and beyond my expectations. Im always happy when I get him to check me in/out. And Ive never had any issue with the service this location provides me. They do a good job of letting me know how long it will take and pretty much meet their estimates.
I had an inspection appointment early in the morning. The inspectors/staff called me into the inspection area to show that a critter (probably a squirrel) had put a bunch of leaves in the engine area, had nibbled on the rubber/plastic around some wires, and nibbled on some foam. I never lift my hood and so had no idea! They did a good job of cleaning up the mess, keeping me informed (I love the notification system and photos I received) -- and then, when I offered to tip for their extra work, thanking me for the offer but not accepting.
As busy as the members of AAA car maintence are, they take the time to be attentive, detailed & very friendly! They offer a ride home if needed & keep you updated on repairs, cost & timing! Many Thanks

This would be the second time I went to this facility to have work done on my car. The first time around about a year or two ago I had to get the blower fixed because my air conditioning didnt work and neither did my humidifier which made it very dangerous to drive in fact the day I took it and it was raining and Im lucky I didnt end up on a curb because of the lack of good visibility. I did a great job fixing it and its been working fine ever since which is awesome. This time I brought it in for a oil leak that Ive had for some time and so far so good I just picked it up yesterday. Taking it back in 2 weeks to make sure its been done well and its not leaking at all. Ive always felt taken care of in a good way at this facility. The people that work there, that Ive met, are very pleasant and very helpful and will answer any questions you might have.
I took my two vehicles here to get yearly inspections and oil changes. I was told my 2010 yaris would not pass a safety inspection without over 1k of repairs. I knew this wasnt true because what they wanted to repair isnt required for a yearly inspection. Immediately after leaving here I took somewhere else and it passed fine. As for my other car, a 2014 rogue there knowing it had an out headlight and out breaklight. I didnt feel like doing them myself so I was just going to pay the fee for them to do it. Funny thing is, it passed! 2 things that would Immediately fail you on yearly inspection they didnt even bring up. They simply looked at the shape each car was in and tried to make money on the worse for wear one. Dangerous and Disrespectful Nance.

They give their customers alot of attention.They were very kind when offering me options. I had gone to Park Rd to get an estimate on tire barrings, that was the only thing that didnt work out as planned because either they didnt tell me the price for both* or I didnt remember what they had said it would be. I went to this location to get the reoair done after realizing it was down the street. Got one barring changed, 3 hours of wait time for the delivery and work to be completed, that was what I estimated I waited. They have a desk area where you can sit and work, so that helped me out alot because I had alot of reading and writing homework.
Efficient check in, job done well and within a reasonable time. Unfortunately like most franchise auto repair shops they try to sell you marginally or unnecessary repairs or replacements.

I was told i needed a tune up due to carbon build up on my sparkplugs. I did a tune up in October of 2020, it is currently June of 2021. I checked my sparkplugs when i got home and there was no carbon build up! did they not notice the new spark plug wires, the new gasket, the new power steering hose, and the new master cylinder.
I went in to for Yearly inspection. Staff was very professional and courteous. I was in and out in least amount of time. I received text messages as the service was being done and kept updated with the service. They also have online report which provides very detailed information.
Went in for an oil change and the manager Matt Pottala noticed my brakes were “funky”. He took the time to look underneath and it turns out my brake line had burst!! Probably saved my life
Arrived early for an appointment, but was able to get worked in. Received a thorough written assessment along with my oil change. Not the cheapest oil change in the business when you factor in the labor, but good service regardless.After trying to give me a description over the phone (I am not mechanically savvy), an employee even took a cell phone picture of issues with my car - of which I was unaware. Helped a lot.

I couldnt recommend these guys enough! From start to finish, the guys at the Ballantyne AAA were awesome (Brandon and Warren)! They were incredibly sincere, prompt, reasonable. I had no ride to come and get my car after it was towed and they arranged a Lyft for me. My repairs were done so quickly! Fantastic customer service. They also have done a good job to social distance with hand sanitizing station and area blocked off! Very pleased!

Honda actually recommended a bunch of unwanted changes. AAA recommended a few needed changes at a very reasonable price. The staff is phenomenal. So kind and fun. Kindness and understanding is important. I am not Auto savvy like most people. I appreciate it when I am not taken for a ride. Best staff.

First time, told me that I needed oil change and coolant change. When I went for oil change after 1 month, told me coolant is fine but other things are wrong and would cost me approx $1000. I dont trust em anymore

Good experience at my most recent visit. They did just what I asked (a part needed replacement per the engine light code which I had checked prior to dropping off car). They worked me in same day. I love the text updates when car is ready for pickup and link to report.

Brought my car in for an oil change recently. Im a long time AAA member but this is the first time I brought my car to this particular shop. Along with the oil change they made several recommendations for $700 worth of repairs that they indicated were very urgent. I dont know a thing about cars but I understand what it means when someone says something is urgent. But with car repair services, it also makes me skeptical. So I went for a second opinion and a third opinion showing them what was recommended. Both times I was told the repairs were unnecessary. So disappointed. Why not just be honest? Obviously, I wont be back.

Clean and quick service. Takes time to explain why I need service and the record of service is on line with pictures as work is being done. I don’t feel like i’m Being taken advantage of when I go there. Plus their attitude is good. Never had an unpleasant, or snippy, or unkind service tech, driver, or counter person. Has to be one of the last retail places where people like their job.
Went in for a scheduled appointment to have a set of tires installed. Waited for an hour before they started on my car. Two more hours to do the work. Tire installations take about an hour! Three total hours waiting.
Decent mechanic shop that can pretty much handle any type of car repair. They have a small waiting area with a tv and snacks along with 2 computers on site but they are right in front of the bathroom🤢. Have taken my vehicles here many times and their work is good. They also have travel guides and I believe insurance representatives as well on site for your vacation and insuring needs.
Our car had a flat tire when we went to go to work so we called AAA. The wrecker arrived quickly, and took the car to AAA Ballantyne. I had asked the car be taken to Scott Clark Toyota but the driver said AAA would fix the tire for free. I assumed it would be a quick repair. All we needed was a tire repaired internally. Seven hours later and they still had not completed the 10 minute repair; even though I was sent a text at 2PM saying they were working on the car. My wife missed work because it took 8 hours to repair a tire. I finally just drove there and when I entered the guy at the counter ignored me for a few minutes. I asked about my car and he then made some phone calls, and walkie talkie calls for a few more minutes before paging someone to come talk to me. Their excuse was they did not work on the car because they worked on scheduled appointments first. I will never return to this shop and I did have to pay despite the tow truck driver telling me there would be no charge.

Quick, friendly, and honest service. They have a comfortable waiting area with seating, outlets, plenty of space to work, and refreshments. There is also the ability to don saftey glasses and speak with your technician on the garage floor. I appreciated the transparency.

These guys and gals are the best! Always super friendly and courteous. Prices are fair and they perform great work. I have been taking my cars here since it opened many years ago and have been nothing but satisfied. Just a few months ago, I had them replace the engine in my 2004 Subaru Outback. The things that really impressed me, was a week later, they mailed me check because they found that they overcharged me! I thought that was amazing! I very highly recommend!
My car battery died at 5:15 pm today and the shop closes at 6:00 pm. I called and they agreed to take it in and do the work before they closed. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service. We just moved to the area and needed to renew our cards. It took three tries to get my husbands name spelled correctly. I had dropped our sons from the account, but they sent cards for them anyway. Ive been back three times and now I think its resolved. Well see. Everyone is very helpful, and pleasant, but I think perhaps the problem is their system. I gave them three stars, because they did finally resolve the issue.

Exceptional experience. Dropped my vehicle off at the appointed time for tires, battery replacement and an oil change. Their courteous and knowledgeable service adviser (Justin, if I recall correctly) made sure I understood everything that was happening, how long it would take and the estimate was to the penny. Sounds like they may have had a personnel/management issue a few years back, none of which was evident here. I like doing business with good people - and these are really good people. Nice job guys! Needed info for an upcoming family trip to Disney World. We have special conditions due to distances (son is in S Korea). The agent understood and presented us with a slew of options and advice for the trip. We will be back to finalize the trip once our son gets his leave orders. As an FYI we did call and setup an appointment so we didnt wait. Ive been here before and they do take walk-ins but you have to wait your turn.

They ended up completing my routine repair on time and satisfactorily, but they tried to change the price on me and basically said that even though I had an appointment, they work on a first come, first served basis. I guess I would like to find a car repair and service shop with integrity.

Went in for simple oil change, and they told me they couldnt work on my car unless I completed $1200 worth of repairs. They said I had a coolant leak which is not at all possible, because I took it to get a second opinion, and the mechanic who is MY FRIEND told me there was no leak! There was absolutely no fluid leaking from the coolant chamber at all! Not to mention they wanted to charge me almost $400 for installing a new thermostat, which I ALSO dont need at all. Another $300 for a transmission hose which I installed myself for 12 dollars, and again nothing was wrong with it. They were speaking to me about this in such a panic you would swear these problems existed. Alas, all I needed was to take my car somewhere else for an oil change. After they (AAA) told me I needed $350 in repairs for my oil gasket, I found out that ALSO wasnt true and there was no issue removing the cap, or putting it back on. So the place I went to ultimately to get it done didnt try to quote me $1200 dollars in absolutely unnecessary repairs, and was able to do my oil change with no problems at all. Totally disappointed with this experience at AAA, would not recommend to anyone!!! SERIOUSLY!!!
Had my car towed here because of my AAA membership. I had a cracked radiator and they recommended few of hoses replaced. The price they quoted me was 1100. A call to another auto shop and I paid 540 total. I would never trust a place that charged doubleor at least close to what other shops would charge . WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!
I made an appt for an oil change; I had to wait and hour before they even pulled my car in and another 30-45 minutes after that for them to change the oil. They said they were having computer problems, which is fine, I completely understand that; what I dont understand is why no one had the courtesy to come tell me that they were having problems and this was delaying my car being serviced. Although, I dont see why a computer problem should effectively STOP an oil change from happening... write it down on paper and get the customer out in a decent time frame! I gave 3 stars instead of 2 because I dont have a membership but they gave me the membership price for my trouble.

This AAA Care Car Center has always provided me excellent car service. I only prefer to go this AAA Care Car Center to get my car services. Whenever I go to another AAA Care Center I never get same level of service as I do when I go to this particular AAA Care Center.
So our car gave out at about 8:20 today, or yesterday by this point. We called and made arrangements for a tow truck to come tow our car, and the dispatcher told us “no later than 8:55.” Sadly, 8:55 rolls around and no tow truck :( so we call them and they say that they will show up at promptly 9:31 which was another bold-face lie because their online tracker (don’t recommend) told us another 60 minutes. So we tell the dispatcher to call us when the tow truck driver was close since we knew we had to be there to pick it up, and we went home because the break down was 2-3 minutes away from our house. So we wait at home for an hour, check the online tracker, and we get down to 40 minutes (which, if you’re keeping up with the math, doesn’t add up). Another 40 minutes rolls by, and the tracker says COMPLETED (lie number three). It is now 12:10 and the car finally pulled into the driveway nearly four hours after the inital call. Rough night.
Wonderful service! Had emergency road repair that required a tow. Shuttle picked me up the next day to get the car. Gave me an estimate for much needed work. Will go back.

I had a heater hose blow out on my 2002 Montana van. The shop had a hard time finding a replacement, which I can understand. However, they did not contact me at any time about the delay. I had to keep calling them back to get some answers as to why my wife would be without her vehicle another day or so. However, once the part came in, the mechanic(s) installed it in good time. Be prepared to wait. I had a 3pm appt that was confirmed a day in advance by AAA themselves. I was told 30 minutes for a State inspection. I arrived by 3pm. At 4pm, I was told my car was still on the wait list to be looked at. I was also told that they simultaneously book multiple appointments. Not good enough when I had to be at my next appointment at 4pm. They were unable to take me to my next spot using their porter service as their driver wasnt around. Im a AAA member. Imagine what service youll get if youre not a member.

Honestly Not pleased with this Triple A..... Management is not forth coming and its all about making money for the franchise, its not customer focused at all . I would never visit this Triple A ever again.For that fact i wouldnt deal with AAA, im going to cancel my membership as soon as possible. Im also going to make sure all my friends and family dont visit this Triple A.
Had a 2 PM appointment for oil change ..they drove my car in at 2. and out about 2:30. Told me my brake fluid was dirty and also my power steering fluid. No high pressure to try and get the work done. Ive had concerns about them in the past but feel they may have improved things a bit. Will bring my other car in for oil change cause $20 is a good price. Will review again after this visit.
I received and took advantage of a coupon for an oil change from AAA. The service was good and there was no pressure to buy other items e.g. battery. I was kept informed of progress. I recommend this service center to anyone.

Took my car in for oil change and rotate tires this morning. After they were done I did ask whether they rotated the tires because they did not rotate last time. Service adviser told me in confidence that they changed oil, rotated the tires and checked the tire pressure. But I noticed that tires were not rotated (I had ball point pen mark on the front tire).Now I need to check whether they changed the oil or just kept my van for an hour and half and gave it to me without doing anything.Avoid this place and go somewhere.

Getting an appointment online is difficult, otherwise it is okay. I often end p going to the dealer because the available appointment given on the internet is way off the actual availability. The receptionist always calls and offers something 2 -5 days later. I booked online early on a Wednesday and someone called and said AAA ballantyne couldnt do a NC inspection and oil change until the following Tuesday. Online I booked it for a Friday but she said that wasnt available.

I have been using AAA Ballantyne for 2 cars for over 1.5 years now. I love the location and I always feel like I am treated fairly and honestly. The cost for repair is not cheap although after AAA discounts/coupons its reasonable enough. The mechanics try very hard to please and it does show. Overall I am happy with AAA Ballantyne and would recommend them to anyone in need of a mechanic.
Stay away from this place. They are so bad. I took my car for engine diagnostics with check engine light on, and they charged me $700 to fix it with O2 sensor. It never worked, and I took 2 times to the shop, they kept the car for whole day and gave the car back by resetting engine light by not doing anything. And they dont have any responsibility or pride what work they do. They had put in faulty O2 sensor, and now car does not pick up and it stalls. I took my car to Toyoto dealership and they confirmed it was a faulty O2 sensor. Even with their report they did not change it. I give up. Dont use this place for any major work, except oil change may be.
