I was made aware of the appointment and timing of arrival every step of the way with the mobile alerts. The technician Ty showed up on time and patiently and respectfully answered all of our questions. The repair and installation was done well with no mess left behind. He tested the system thoroughly and extensively to make sure everything was working. I would recommend Thomas Home Services to others.

The plumber that came out was spot on 10/10, but hes the only they have. Each time I had an appointment with him it got pushed back from Monday to Friday. If the gentleman that came out wasnt so personable and knowledgeable, this rating would be a 1. If they didnt cancel and push back so consistently, this would be a perfect score.

This company was assigned via First American Home Warranty. Terry Reichradt was on time and thorough checking my AC unit. Separate from the requested work order, he also provided an estimate for potential improvements I could get to reduce sound and improve air flow. He also provided a separate estimate for a new system installation, since my AC unit is 20 years old and will eventually need replaced. I will use this company again, if needed.

This company is absolutely horrible to work with. Our home warranty company has assigned them to complete an AC repair. At this point it has been two weeks and we still have no AC. The repair is approved and they were supposed to be out multiple times and continue to push us. Today, I called to confirm what time they would be here and was told they were just about to call me because it looked like they were going to have to push again. They said they’d call me back in a couple hours to discuss, and then no call. So I called back (multiple attempts to get through), and was told they are still working on it but will call me back before the end of the day. So here we are at the end of the day, they are closed and still no communication. We have no AC in our home, a toddler, and my wife is pregnant and none of this seems to matter to them. At the end of the day, these reviews seem manufactured because I cannot be the only person to experience this level of disappointment. My recommendation, if you have a choice, stay away at all costs. Unfortunately, we are without leverage and beholden to whatever Thomas Home Services decides.Lastly, if Thomas Home Services wants to know what they can do to make me smile (their words, not mine), you can stop dragging your feet and have someone come and fix the AC in a timely manner. Since that hasn’t and won’t happen, you can stop asking me.

Terry was great. I read some of the reviews on Yelp and was a little worried and not looking for to the experience but when Terry arrived he did a great job. He was very professional, he did an evaluation of the system and told me what the problem was. He installed a new thermostat because the old one was not sending a signal to the unit. He connected everything and made sure it turned on and work properly. He gave me his information and let me know if we had any other problems to give him a call. He also let me know that my units were older, coming up on 14 years and would need to be replaced in the near future and if we needed help with that he’s our guy. I would use Thomas Home Services again if they are sending out Terry.

Mateo was early to the job. He was very personable, professional, and informative. He took the time to check the system/duct work to determine why the problem was occurring and took the steps to correct it. He explained how the system worked and what he was doing to correct it. They were supposed to show up between 12 and 2 PM on Wednesday to fix my AC, and they were a no show and I was not even informed about it, when I called to check they said that the only time they can do is next Monday. They could have communicated better and if I had been informed of this earlier, I would have called someone else.

Jerome was our technician. He was polite and very thorough. He explained everything he was doing. He took photos to show what needed to be repaired on my roof top heat pump. He gave me several options for repair or replacement. We chose replacement. It was simple, quick and very reasonable with the financing they offered. They scheduled our installation as soon as possible. I highly recommend Thomas Home Services. We had several other companies tell us they would work on getting us a new unit and would never return our phone calls. Every time I called, Thomas Home Services answered the phone and actually helped us!

Man... I cannot say enough good things about this company! Our AC went out a couple weeks ago, and we had been fighting with the home warranty company about getting it replaced ( since it literally caught fire and was dead dead) with no luck. Thomas had come to our home before in order to complete minor ac repairs, and they were extremely professional. When I called to explain to them Thursday 6/17/21 it had been since the Sunday before that my kids and I had no ac, They immediately transferred me to Jerome the field supervisor, he listened to the struggle we were having and instantly helped! Jerome took time to make sure we had a new ac unit out hereby today 6/18/21, Tyler, Angel, Roy, and Mateo ALL came to the rescue today! This company has earned customers for life. Jerome took time to explain things to us and helped us through this crisis. From the time I called Thomas home services until they left today completing their job, was the most professional and amazing customer service I have ever experienced. They took time to explain things they were doing as the work progressed, and left us with a brand new unit and a house that is finally cooling! Two of our three units were down and Cody was able to quickly troubleshoot the condenser issue on one unit and Mateo was awesome and took the time to truly identify our others air handler problem. Extremely professional, Covid aware, friendly and very knowledgeable! I had several issues with my AC and several techs worked to solve the mysteries. They came and installed two new units. After the first day I noticed the upstairs unit never shut off. After a service call they came out and fixed it. Working great now, but the bottom unit now blows warm air. Units are brand new so I called them. They said it would take two days for an appointment between 1 and 3. Its now that day at 3:45. No one has come or called. I called Thomas and they said someone came by at 1230. I wasnt home because I wasnt expecting them until 1. Now I am punished again I have to wait until Monday sometime for them to come out. 83 downstairs guess Ill live upstairs. The install team was great, customer service not so much. After the sale youre not important.

Thomas Home Services was engaged to diagnose a problem with the air conditioning at our daughters home. Mateo is the technician who was sent on the call. Mateo was on time and went to work diagnosing the problem. He identified what needed to be done, found the parts locally and went to work. Mateo is professional, knowledgeable and very skilled. He took time to explain the problem and solution and explained what he was doing as he worked. The end result was the issue was fixed within a matter of hours instead of days or weeks. Home Warranty Claim had them come out 6 times in the last 2 months and no communication on why the day after they come then unit turns off. 2 months in Phoenix in the summer and my tenants cost me over $6000 in hotel nights. Finally its all blamed on batteries which is 100% not true but they just want more money to come out and diagnose the real problem they couldnt find the other 6 times. No communication on what they actually did on any appointment. And too busy to return 5 voice mails !! Completely unprofessional !

Ty Hust was the plumber assigned to helping me get a new hot water heater. I have a home warranty and my water heater burnt out. Ty came out and was detailed taking pics and letting the warranty company a new hot water heater was necessary. The warranty company ordered a new one. Ty brought the new one and got it installed. He was so friendly, nice, courteous and clean. A plumber that cares about his clients. Crystal and Amber work at the office and they both were so nice when I called with questions. I would recommend Thomas Home Services.

Yes My AC has been leaking since July 27.Service was set for:Aug 8th - inspectedAug 13th - cancelledAugust 20th - canceled 10min before appt, said technician did not have partAugust 23rd -canceled 10 min before appt. dispatch said technician cut his hand went to emergency roomAugust 31st - NO call NO show, called them to reschedule and dispatch said technician cut his hand went to emergency room ..again!???September 8th - NO call NO show, I called spoke to dispatch they are having a shortage of vehicles so some technicians are having to double up and “hopefully” get to all their appts…Rescheduled me for Monday September 13th.. “hopefully we can keep that appt and wont have to reschedule you again.”They never call to cancel, reschedule I have to call every time.This picture is from today, The AC has been leaking since July 27. My ceiling after one month damage of leaking, however this is including with my husband going in the attic every 3 hours to dump the bucket of water that is full.6 Appts set and STILL NOT FIXED!!!!This is a very short version of what has happened. There has been many back-and-forth of their EXCUSES why this has been delayed…

Great guys, so far have no complaints. My mother has been paying homeowners insurance for 19 years, and when we really needed them they couldnt pull through. This company had us financed and installed all in one day. My mother is on oxygen and has COPD, she can not be stuck in a house with no air conditioning. I was prepared to take her to a hotel if needed, but these guys had us up and running in one day, before 4pm. I appreciate that so much. They really busted their a**. Had the crane out and the techs on the roof in no time. Thank you.

My AC went out. My home warranty company referred Thomas Home Services. July in Phoenix 115 . WEEK 1 they were backed up a week. WEEK 2 the level 1 repairmen showed up and found a broken fan motor on a discontinued AC unit. WEEK 3 I called everyday. They would not connect me with a supervisor and he never returned my calls. The receptionist said the same thing every day, Im going to reach out to a supervisor and were going to find a universal part. I thought by the third day she might say I spoke to the supervisor. WEEK 4 I called 2 times a day. They never answered and never responded to my voicemails. I still havent had it fixed. Ive gone broke staying in a hotel. Everything heat sensitive in my house has melted. All plants dead. UNBELIEVABLE...How could a business be so inconsiderate?.

The technician from Thomas Home Services named Chris came to do maintenance work on my AC unit and ductwork. He informed me what else needed to be done to my unit to make it run more efficiently. He also looked at the ductwork and informed me of what was missing and what was needed to make my home cool evenly, since some rooms received cooler air more than others. My AC was not cooling and Thomas was recommended by my home warranty company. They gave me an appointment 10 days from when we called. I am in Arizona and it is regularly over 100 degrees every day. This has nothing to do with Chris, the tech but more so the scheduler in the office. I called and set the appt for 11-1, then I called back immediately and spoke with Carly and rescheduled it for 2-4pm. I thought everything was good to go.The tech shows up at 11:30am (I was not at home, which was the reason why I rescheduled for 2-4). I later saw a VM that I missed from Kimberly, asking if the tech could come earlier. I was already busy with my work and did not call back, confirm or approve the bump up time but yet the tech just showed up. Not ok.My mother was at the home, I was interrupted on my work when she called as the Tech insisted on doing his inspection even though I was not at the home. I told him to please come back or reschedule as I wanted to be present for the appt. He said hed call his office and have someone call to reschedule. I said ok, no problem.Later that afternoon, the Tech returned unexpectedly AGAIN! I had already made plans and I was leaving and this time, the tech was obviously annoyed when I told him that I thought he was gonna have the office call me to reschedule. Dont really blame him, he was just following dispatch instructions but I had already scheduled another appt.There is obviously a lack of communication with the office and field techs. From what I can see, it looks like they do good work but if the customer does not approve the reschedule, its not ok to just allow your tech to show up at the house unannounced.

Great experience with Dennis and team from Thomas Home Services. Called and he came the same day to fix the leak from my water heater. The whole team was responsive and communicated well despite my frustrating home warranty company. Both Dennis and their front office waited on hold with the warranty company multiple times for long periods of time. Before contacting Thomas Home Services I had received quotes from 4 other AC companies. They were all good companies and highly recommended. My problem was I needed to have, not only a good company offering a good quality AC replacement, but a company that would provide the financing that would work for us, as were seniors with limited income. When I contacted Thomas Home Services Jerome came to my home and we chatted about my AC needs and the financing. Jerome was not only charming he was really knowledgeable. He was able to provide a new good quality AC system which included a new water heater in the offer coupled with the right type of financing for us. The approval for financing took about 5 minutes after application. I was very impressed with everything Thomas was offering and immediately signed with them. As an aside, Thomas not only replaces air conditioning systems but offers other home services like plumbing. I plan to access their other services as needed. Thank you Jerome and Thomas!

Utilizing Thomas Home Services has resulted in the most negative experience we have ever endured with an AC installation. The service tech, Jerome was pleasant when selling us the system, but wasn’t forthcoming and misled us. He told us if we financed through their financing we wouldn’t have a payment until December (2 months after the system was installed) and the system was just installed on 09/25/2020. He told us he would arrive in the morning with the techs to get the project started and then he would return at the end of the install to ensure everything was completed. The first tech arrived at 8:30am and then 2 more techs arrived within the hour. The first outdoor units that were delivered were the wrong size. Then they were supposed to replace the pads that they sat on, we had to point that out, so they did correct that. Then we find out around 2:30pm in the afternoon when Jerome finally shows up that he actually ordered the completely wrong system ( He ordered electric when we have a gas system) which he apologized for but never communicated or contacted us throughout the day until he showed up. He told us he would be helping the techs to get it done. I asked him to complete the SRP paperwork for our refund, he started it, received a call, said he needed to leave but would return and we never heard from him again. I guess I should have expected this especially how he hinted at how the owner’s son who was one of the techs on our installation doesn’t have the same work ethic as the owner. We contacted the office and spoke with the office manager, Emily who informed us that the individual responsible for completing the paper work for SRP would return on Thursday, complete the paper work and we would have it no later than Friday, 10/02/2020. Here we are, Friday and I check the mail and we have a bill to pay our first payment due on 10/18/2020, not 2 months later. So, I contact the company, Emily is out of the office and the receptionist talks with her supervisor who is supposed to return my call. I am still waiting for that return call. On a side note, the techs that did the installation were at our house from 8:30am – 10:00pm and they were very respectful and did a good job! The rest of the experience has been extremely negative and we will never recommend this company to anyone, be aware as you will be lied to and deceived! This company hasn’t resolved any of our issues to date.

This guy is awesome never tried to up sell me on things i didnt need or tried to get me to buy the most expensive system possible. Unfortunately, Ive had to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Our experience was plagued by empty promises, poor communication, and charges for services which were never performed. And overall, its extremely expensive for what you actually get.We signed up with Thomas Home Services because we believed (as they so adamantly pitched) that they were better than a typical home warranty company. We liked the idea of having our major appliances professionally maintained properly, and replaced at appropriate times, instead of putting band aids on things until they permanently break. The monthly price seemed steep (even discounted for us, it was $65/month), but we were assured that it covered two visits per year dedicated to checking on air conditioning, one visit per year to check on plumbing, and $75 per visit when they came to fix stuff.After a couple months, we called for them to come check our fridges ice maker because it wasnt making ice. They came, attempted to fix the ice maker, but instead broke it even more (it now also leaks a large amount of water onto the floor every day). We were told it would be $50 for them to come out with the parts they needed to fix the fridge, which we agreed to and (stupidly) we paid them before they came back. They never came back.I had to talk to a customer service person over the course of a month to find out they wouldnt cover the fix for the fridge because it was a pre-existing condition (my house is 8 years old.. literally everything is a pre-existing condition), and eventually get my money back. The customer service people I talked to were very nice and understood my situation, agreeing that I should get refunded, but I always had to be the one to initiate and follow up several times with no action taken by supervisors for over a month.Weve cancelled our services permanently. At this point, itll be cheaper for us to just buy a new fridge ourselves and pay an A/C specialist to actually maintain our A/C than to dump money into this black hole.

Jerome was an incredible technician. He genuinely cares about his customers, and seems to always do the right thing. It really shows in his actions, and he is a goal getter of a person. Jerome was very knowledgeable, and really had my best interest in hand. I would recommend Jerome to everyone because he speaks Air Conditioning in English, and not in technical jargon. Jerome is definitely an asset to this company, and goes out of his way to please.

Adding to this horrible experience - a competent repair person was hired and saw that the work was done incorrectly causing additional failures to the unit. None of the expensive repairs were needed! Both units are functioning correctly now once the sabotage was corrected. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! My home warranty company assigned my AC repair to them and it has been a nightmare. The office staff/manager cannot even return a phone call (Emily); technicians show up four hours late for appt. with no updates or just never show up (Jerome, Terry); a promised portable unit was NEVER delivered; and one week later unit not repaired. Worst experience ever DO NOT USE.

When I called, I got a live person on the line very quickly, no long holds. They were professional, easy to talk to and eagerly sent a technician in a very short time as my ac was not working on a hot, 106 degree day. The technician Don was polite, and knowledgeable, His uniform was clean and pressed, not all wrinkled and messy. He knew what he was doing, and did not waste time nor poke around. I would highly recommend. Also, the prices were very fair for the service rendered.

I got a new thermostat in October. My air was working but when I went to use the heat for the first time this year it didn’t work. I called Professors of Plumbing & Air on Tuesday and they were able to accomodate me with my work schedule and have someone out on Thursday evening. While you are waiting for your technician to arrive the company provides a link so you can see where your driver is located and how far away!Jerome, the technician, called me when he was on his way and once he arrived. He was very polite and informative. The problem just happened to be some wiring with the new thermostat. He was able to correct the issue and took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I was his last stop of the day so I really appreciated him being so thorough and checking on my furnace as well. He confirmed my air and heat are both working before leaving. This is the company that was recommended by our Home Warranty folks. The technician was Jerome and he was very honest with us. We have no heat coming to our master bedroom bath and we wanted to know why that is. It turns out that it is the furthest run from our furnace and we wont get heat in there. The solution is a more efficient furnace and some damp type thing. A more efficient air conditioner would help as well during the warmer months. We want our home warranty plan to work for us and to replace everything now requires itemized listings. Eventually piece mealing things will fail and the cost will add up. We have decided to wait until we have to replace it all.
