I had a laundry list of stubborn plumbing issues piling up. Toilet repair, clogged drains, broken sink, leaky hose bib. Finally called Precision last night and they were here the next morning.Tyler fixed everything to perfection. He explained what caused the issues so we could understand how to avoid them in the future. Highly professional. The most courteous technician I’ve ever worked with. Respectful of me working remotely, taking the dog in and out, and my ill father’s condition. He really went above and beyond. Thank you, Tyler! You’re a great asset to a great local company.

Having moved into our house a few months ago we identified several plumbing issues of concern. Don was not only courteous, but also very knowledgeable. He was very patient in answering all questions, provided detailed info about each issue and clearly identified all our options.

Never a bad interaction with Precision. I contacted them in July of 2020 when my a/c and water heater went out. They were quick, efficient, and incredibly professional. I had my one year maintenance today. My tech, Leslie, was incredibly thorough and friendly. Spent $18,000 on a new unit and three month in it broke down. Tech told me that there is a known defect with this Goodman unit and replaced the capacitor. Why would this have been installed on my house with a know defect? Very deceptive in light of the money I spent with precision. Tech that came out was amazing and came out same day. Precision Air and Plumbing will continue to be my go-to.First tech came out and diagnosed a failed circuit board as the cause for one of the AC units not working.Second tech, Tanner, came to install the new board. He performed his own diagnosis and found the root cause of the issue, which was a blown fuse cause by a pinched wire that shorted. Tanner took the time to explain in detail what he had found and the corrective action he took.Everyone makes mistakes. I appreciate Tanners effort to perform his own diagnosis and relieved he found the true cause.Thank you Precision Air & Plumbing and Tanner for the integrity you put into your work.

Don’t fall for their air filter scam. They tell you we have metal electrostatic air filters that never need replaced. It’s normally $165 but we will discount it 20%… well after agreeing to the filter we inspected it and noticed they put a precision sticker right over the manufacturers sticker made by AirCare. YOU CAN GET THESE SAME EXACT FILTERS ON AMAZON OR EBAY FOR $56!!!! Feel like they are being dishonest with the customer. Also their AC cleaning is a joke they charged $166 for the technician to spray electrostatic cleaner on our ac unit and spray with garden hose…. Could have done this myself and next time will. Purchased $8000+ unit from them last year. Made appointment for service prior to warranty ending. When technician was scheduled was after warranty period by one week so we ended up paying for him to switch out the “faulty” capacitor he never showed us the new part going in or the old part. I feel totally scammed and angry.

Everything was very professional as usual. We have been using precision for the past 12 years. They called to confirm service and called to let us know the tech was on his way and should arrive in about 20 minutes, Ricardo was prompt to appointment, Ricardo was very knowledgeable as well as professional. Very thorough inspecting both units and giving them a good cleaning. Took many photos do we could see his work as well as the condition of the units. We have a service agreement so Ricardo Aldo flushed our water heater while on our service call. Ricardo made a couple of recommendations about our units but not at all pushy. Story: We had our HVAC system serviced by Precision, ended up paying for more than what we needed, and the fix didn’t even address the real issue of our unit. We also paid for 24/7 emergency assistance and they couldn’t even fulfill that as they were “backed up”. We looked elsewhere, spent a fraction of the price and now our A/C is working as intended.We then asked for a refund of the future service deposit since it’s unlikely they’ll be able to service our unit for future maintenance. Well, it’s been 20 days and still have not received a response.Short Summary: Use Precision Air and Plumbing for standard HVAC maintenance and tuneups but nothing more. I can’t discredit the technician for the work he provided but the company will take advantage of you for overpriced “fixes”.

Ricardo was very friendly and respectful. Service was done quickly. He was very informative about our current system. Didn’t try to push a new system even though when he first arrived I asked about a ball park amount for a new system. I have used Precision several times now and have been happy with the service.

When my AC stopped working on a 113 degree day, Tommy and Josh came to the rescue. They worked quickly and efficiently to rule out the AC Unit and the Air Handler as possible sources of the problem. That left the thermostat, which they replaced. The AC was cooling down the house before they left, and has been working flawlessly since the thermostat replacement. Very nice tech organized company I have faith that if we had gone with them quality work would be done. However the price was double what two other companies quoted, so even though they may do quality work and have good finance options it really is not interest free when I would be paying double.Again nice tech organized company but double the price of other companies is in no way worth it in my opinion I hope they take a look at thier pricing.

It was time to replace our AC, and so our choice was Precision Air, as weve been with them for over 20 years. Teman & Julian did an excellent job on the installation today, arriving on time, being very courteous, cleaning up, and making sure I was happy with their work. Arrived on time, although 4 days after the problem occurred (no A/C for 4 days). Diagnosed the problem; left to get parts; returned and installed; restored A/C, all for a mere $1,700. Even though we have, for over 10 years, had a 5 year service contract, we did not feel we received the timely service advertised. Next, when I questioned the bill, an even $1,700, in light of past experience of receiving a discount (20%) because we have a service contract, I still have received no answer. Finally, today, we saw a rep. to discuss a new unit for our casita (the current one is 17 years old) we were advised that, to cool 240 Sq. Ft., the replacement unit would cost $10,000. And, we were also told there was no inventory anyway. So, we will wait until the unit dies, and then explore options - elsewhere. Overall, however, the service and sales people were great.

Precision installed 3 brand new 4 tons Trane units for $21,700 and $5,040 for a 10 year warranty for a total of $26,740 in June 2017, we bought the house in October 2018, and the previous owner provided all the receipts and warranty for the AC units from Precision, one of units today was at zero pressure and we discovered the leak next to the ground unit, the insulation was completely wet with the oil and the workmanship on the copper lines was just horrible, the other unit next to it was at about 60% of the target pressure, so I called today and after much discussion over the phone I was told that the warranty expired, so the previous owner pay an extra $5k for a 10 year warranty for nothing? I asked to talk to Eric the owner and I was told he was out of the office.I wish I was able to upload the pics to show the poor workmanship.

We will be using precision for our AC/ heating replacment in the next few months. We had 3 diffrent contractors come and give us quotes. Precision wasnt the cheapest nor the most expensive quote. We decided to use them due to Don Maddoxs honesty. Honesty is always the best policy. He also took the time to further investigate our home and identified other things that could help us out that the other contractors hadnt. He didnt try to sell us something we dont need and merely suggested other things we could do to help us save money and keep our systems running smooth and in the long run keep our system running longer.

I called due to A/C issues. I wanted to get it fixed before the weather got too hot. They were able to come out same day. Joshua came out and spent several hours diagnosing our issues. He even called Don (field manager) when he was not sure of what was causing the issue. Don came out and helped assess the situation and explained the issues in great detail, providing all possible solutions. The next day Don came out and set up 2 portable units to help keep us stay cool until they could install the new units. When install day came, the team (Teman, Dave, and Noah) were prompt, respectful, and diligent. They made sure I understood what was happening each step of the process. This was an all day process and they did it without being disruptive and intrusive. They cleaned up after themselves, and made sure I knew how to operate and care for the new equipment. This was a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend them.

We had a major issue come up today. Our water softener burst and water was going everywhere in our garage. We called precision and they came out a few hours later. They assessed the situation and provided us a solution. We chose to have a new water softener installed since it would have cost about the same to have the old one fixed. So, our water is back on and we couldnt be happier. We have been using their services for years and we will continue to do so. I recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a professional and reliable company.

The biggest gripe we had with Precision Air was that the technician was not comfortable working on our AC unit because it was too advanced for his training. He said other employees were trained to work on our type of system but no offer was made to schedule one of them to come out. It appears that all of the other maintenance was performed quickly and in a professional manner but our AC still seems to struggle to keep the house cool. Just cant give more than 2 stars................UpdateI reached out to Nels. He apologized for not being able to get our system working right. I now know that with the newer more advanced systems you really need to find a company trained on your name brand, in this case Lennox. Precision has agreed to refund the maintenance charge and was helpful with the information I need to get the right company out to service my system. Thanks

Some challenges / misadventures:Supply chain issues delayed original install. However, you guys were able to install 1 new install. New unit works great! Thank you. Minor mishap with coil not being properly attached - caused leak in ceiling. Mike came and fixed. No issues since.2nd unit installed this past Friday - also works great. Mishap during install. Dropped something during air handler install/setup in attics; went through the ceiling. Debris landed on dog... she is ok, but was very scared at the time it happened.Griffith roofing & repair is schedule to repair ceiling damage - Sheetrock and painting - on 9/3. Painting will be a challenge - custom faux finish...I know mistakes happen; people are human. Troy and crew ultimately did a solid install. New units work great - quiet, efficient, and cool/cold.Your customer service is second to none. When issues arose - short a coil for the first unit, ceiling leaks (twice), hole in the ceiling... you were all over it. Much appreciated! Mike Davies deserves kudos! Assume the ceiling is fixed properly and painted correctly, I would give Precision 4 1/2 stars... More importantly I would highly recommend you to anyone! Keep up the great customer service - its what separates you from your competitors.

Our AC stopped blowing cold air, it was 117degrees outside. Wed previously used Precision because a coworker of mine is married to one of their techs. My AC unit is crazy old. Over the years Ive done a lot of my own parts replacements as in general Im not very trusting of AC companies who will come out. Bang a screwdriver against your ac unit and declare you need to buy a new 10k unit. I told precision I was not replacing, just repairing and theyve never tried to upsell me anything. They come out, thy do their job. I have their service plan so they periodically reach out and offer to check on things. Here in AZ Ive learned to listen when they do. Theyve kept costs down dramatically for me, been ultra cool with my refusal to let my unit die, and reliable as can be. I cant remember my techs name this last time but he was up there all night and I felt bad, but he got the job done without complaint. And THAT is worth a lot to me.

Once again had leslie out today for our annual maintenance. The office notified me she was on her way and she arrived within 20 minutes. She was very efficient and professional in completing equipment checks and secured everything we needed while I sat in my la-z-boy. Definitely continue using them.

Leslie was the best! She was on time and explained everything as she did it. I highly recommend asking for her!

Oh my goodness, these people are horrendous. They can’t make a six hour window to come look at an AC. They have now rescinded my 2 “free”” 2 year maintenance agreements. It’s now apparent I was WAY over charged for the work completed but they left me no choice with no Ac and not being able to meet the time frames they laid out. Have repeatedly asked to have someone with some authority, call me with no response. You can’t make this up. I have found them to be untruthful and dishonest. If there is a response to this review I can assure you it is wrong. I was lied to repeatedly. If you call them, buyer beware and it’s a mistake on your part.Ive read the response. LIke I said. wrong and woefully inacurate. I was never satisfied with the service as she claims. Do not use them !!

Andrew from Precision Air did my annual PM on my water heater yesterday. Very professional, fully masked, great guy. He flushed it, checked the heating elements, and made a few recommendations for upgrade (add an anode rod) and repairs / replacements when needed (ball valve, tank direct replacement, tankless upgrade) and of course the good news is nothing was needed this year. This company has a 5 year service contract that is a great deal both for peace of mind and any emergencies.

Julian and Teman arrived yesterday on time and in a great mood. They were happy to be installing a new A/C unit for me. They worked hard all day with barely a break. They did a nice, clean install and were a pleasure to work with.Precision came back out 10 months later and checked over the system and everything was working well. They installed a surge protector which was very quick. Thank you.
