Could not get to my computer to write this review fast enough, and this honestly may be the first time Ive ever done this. I cannot say enough good things about Jon Britton, and his crew of professionals. At every level of this group from the scheduler/dispatcher to the installer everyone was delightful to deal with. I just had an entire new system installed after they had been servicing my old system for years...it was finally time. His guys were on time, did fantastic work, cleaned up after themselves, and answered all the questions I had.Jon too went above and beyond when the unit that we had originally decided on was on back order. We were still able to hit our original install date, and he even offered to install an upgraded system at the price we originally agreed upon to ensure that the job was done in a timely manner. He did not have to do that, and just goes to show how committed he is to his customer, and keeping his word.If you are in the market for a new system, or are weary of getting a new one as I was give these guys a call, and I can assure you that you are in good hands!

Easy to initiate a service call online. Technician was super professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. He even had the replacement part on the truck for single visit to both diagnose and fix for a bad relay. I originally found Britton Service Group on Angies List back in 2016 from their great reviews there and had them install a complete new replacement AC system and duct work. The followup service after the sale has been great. I have piece of mind that I have an AC company I can trust when I have a problem.

John, the owner, arrived on time for the estimate appointment and quickly prepared estimates for several options. The estimates were below a competing dealer. I was impressed with Johns professionalism and knowledge in recommending a whole house air purifier to combat a mold issue we had. John also quickly responded to my request to modify the quote once I decided on the options I wanted to proceed with. Once I accepted the proposal, the work was started and completed on the date promised. John also completed and filed the necessary forms on my behalf to get a rebate that my utility company was offering. Thus far the system has been working well and we are pleased with the results. I would recommend Britton Service Group.

This is the third air conditioner weve purchased from Britton Service Group (for 2 different houses) and weve been happy with all three. Nick was great! Our AC was blowing, but no cool air and its hot in July. Nick called and was able to come before the scheduled time. He thoroughly checked the AC, explained what he found. Fixed the immediate issue (capacitor). And, made suggestions to improve the AC performance that can be undertaken later (add another return air).He was patient with all my questions.And, was dog friendly!I will definitely call Britton Service Group again!

Our AC unit went out on a Thursday. On Friday, we called around to almost no results.Britton Service Group was the only company that were able to see us same day (other companies said they couldnt be out to our house until the following week). Corrine was the sweetest person over the phone and empathized with our need to fix the AC quickly, because of our dogs.John was able to come out within a couple of hours, diagnose the problem, and fix the problem the following Monday. In other words, John was able to fix the entire problem before most companies offered to even get to our place! In the future, Ill only use Britton Service Group due to their prompt service, flexible schedules, and knowledgeable staff.

Being new to the area and looking for a long term relationship, I researched a lot of A/C/Heat businesses and it was the best decision going with Britton Service Group. Corinne was very patient with me answering all my many questions on my first call to them and ultimately we became their customer. They are taking wonderful care of us having come out to do a semi-annual of the AC system and most recently a semi-annual of our Heating system. Jon, the Technician is great. On time, actually arrived earlier at my request so I could get on in to work, yet did a thorough check of our furnace system; replacing our attic filter and giving me a Heating Checklist of 28 different General/Gas inspections checked! Update: Weve had our system for 5 months now and are still very pleased.I highly recommend Nick and Britton Service Group for high quality work. We had a complicated project including some remedial work from a previous remodel. Britton put a lot of work into figuring out the best solution, and my husband and I are very pleased with the result.I had put a more detailed review on yelp early on. Here it is:We are very pleased so far. We are planning to get a new system and I like the fact that they carefully consider the particular house and its requirements. We have had AC/heat troubles on and off as long as weve owned this house (16 years) with two different systems, so we are hopeful that this detailed effort will pay off. They highly recommended a heat-load audit by a third party, which we did. We have numerous problems/mismatches with the current system and they are working on a good plan to address this. Of course, I cant give feedback yet on that endeavor. Weve had them out for two service calls to keep the current system running in the meantime. For one of those we were not charged in spite of significant effort expended.
Britton Service was amazing all around, starting with John. My AC unit was pretty much dying and mind you, I’ve only been in my house a little over a year. I had be dealing with other companies coming in and out just putting bandaids on it. Some didn’t know what they were doing but didn’t hesitate to charge me for their services, no matter what! I just got tired and decided to replace my AC all together. So, I started searching reviews and calling around to places. Britton was the 2nd quote I got. John came in and he is a super cool and mellow guy. Very professional! Explained their products and prices and even financing in detail. I was pretty much sold once he was done explaining. Plus, my electric company gives a rebate for AC replacement and Britton processes the rebate for you! It was all so easy and such a relief! I was even more impressed that after the install, John actually came through to double check their work and made tweaks as necessary. So amazing! I couldn’t have found a better company to work with. Outstanding customer service and professionalism. I received an in person estimate on Sunday when our HVAC had broken down (for the last time) and the unit was replaced with a high quality Carrier unit by Monday afternoon, followed by a quality control check my their outstanding technician John. The installation crew were top notch professionals. I very highly recommend this outfit.
I called them to recharge my AC unit with R-410A coolant. Before making the appointment I asked their receptionist whether the price of coolant per lb was the same as I had paid them 11 months ago. She said she didnt know the exact price but assured me that it was in approximately the same price range. Their tech came out promptly, and did the job efficiently. However the coolant price charged was 20% above what I paid earlier.To be fair, it was still cheaper than quotes I had got from other vendors.

It is hard to find good service for this type of work, but Britton Group couldnt be better. Steve was on time, took the time to help me understand what he was going to do and did the work in a very professional way. I would recommend this group anytime.The next service visit was Oct 5, 2017. Steve came out as scheduled and did an excellent job on servicing to get my furnace and air conditioning ready for the fall and winter season. His work is excellent. After a long search, we finally feel like weve found a reputable company we can depend on to be truthful with us. They have certainly earned our trust and future business.Id been looking for a good, honest company to service our 12 yr old heat pump. Id previously contacted 2 other Angies List A companies and all they did was tell me whats wrong with the heat pump and try to sell me new high-end systems. They were smooth talkers and I can easily understand how many people could be fooled by them. Thats the only reason why I can think of that would explain why theyve gotten such good reviews from others.Since the heat pump seemed to be functioning normally and they couldnt even agree with each other as to what the problems were, I decided to contact Britton and am so glad that I didnt fall for those other 2 companies scams. Not only did the Britton technician tell us that our system is functioning well and needs no repairs, he also told me why the other companies technicians diagnosis were incorrect.

Just had my entire HVAC system replaced by Britton Service Group. The house had the original 40+ year old inside unit and it was time! Very competitive on pricing (got 3 other quotes). Did the installation within a day of giving them the go ahead. Quick to remove the old system and install all of the new components inside and out. They repaired the old support base and did a great job with the entire install. Very happy with how it all turned out.
Fantastic service! Steve was very informative, punctual and professional. We had the A/C checkup for $49 (found the deal on Angies List) and could not be happier! They scheduled within a day and gave me a two hour window from 11-1, which Steve called right at 11 to inform me he was on his way and an ETA. All in all, phenomenal!

Cant say enough about how we have been treated by Neal and Corrine and the rest of the Britton Service Group Klan. I had 5 estimates and chose Britton because of Neals initial visit to our home. There was no doubt he was the most knowledgeable and experienced representative that visited our home. One of the things he immediately recognized was the return air in our home was too small and needed another one added. He also went out of his way and worked with me on running thermostat wires to the new unit as to keep them hidden on the outside of our home. I truly cant speak highly enough of these guys. I came home on a Saturday evening to no AC and an 85° house with a toddler. Today is Sunday, Fathers Day, about noon and I have A/C cranking and house temps moving back to normal. Great price, wonderfully efficient. AC breaking in the middle of the summer is something you get right on and when this happened over the weekend I went with Britton because of their good reviews. They did not disappoint. So I have had my new AC system for almost two years now, and I can tell you that my summer electric bills have decreased by about 30% both years. If that is not reason to call for a quote on a new AC, I dont know what is. August 2015 electric bill was $325. August 2016 electric bill was $191. My highest electric bill this year so far has been $143 with the thermostat set to 70 degrees most of the day. Newer AC systems pay for themselves in no time so if you are tired of high electric bills, take advantage of local rebates and financing options and start saving money today.
I had an HVAC unit installed with zoning and fresh air venting capabilities. Now each zone is tightly controlled for maximum comfort while allowing fresh air to circulate thru the house. The process started with and honest and fair quote. The work was professional and the owner was responsive to further adjustment to the system. I would highly recommend Britton Service Group.

If I could give Jon an entire galaxy, not just five stars, I would.Jon is extremely ethical and extremely reliable. On occasions he would come all the way to my house and found the problem to be simply a matter of identifying the root cause, and could be fixed by picking out the tree branches, or the symptom had disappeared and nothing was to be done, and he would charge me nothing. But, I couldnt let an A/C expert driving around town for nothing. He needs to be compensated for his time, for the wear and tear to his vehicle, for the fuel cost, and for his expertise in identifying the problems.Yes, hes as good as it gets. Thats the truth.

UPDATE 9/15/20: Had another HVAC replacement done last week, old unit was over 12-years old. Jon was very prompt, punctual, and also creative. Weather delayed installation, and he was able to suggest interim solutions. My go-to HVAC guys, professional, honest, and thorough.Ive used Jon and his team at Britton more than a dozen times for my various properties. Nothing but great experiences, always prompt, very professional, courteous, and excellent pricing. A number of my condos are high-end, and I especially like the fact that they are neat and leave the place tidy afterwards.
I have AC not cooling issue and called Britton Service Group. The technician came the next day and said everything is fine and I just dont have power supplied to the AC unit and recommend to replace the light switch.I was a little suspicious but wait several hours to comfirm there was no improvement and called Britton again. The technician came back and said oh my app must have been bad and shown last customers data on the previous visit. And had to wait a few hours before able to investigate.The third time he said its more than likely there is leak in the coil but would cost $125 to detect. So he spent 1 minutes up on the attic and comfirmed the leak then charged me $125 and refused to add puron (its waste of money and extra charge).So I ended up spending close to $200 for confirmation that I need to replace the coid (but really recommend to replace the whole system for $58k to $61k).Absolutely not recommend this business.
Top Notch service! We had a major issue with an AC over the summer and Britton Service Group fixed the issue then helped us figure out a way to save money on that cost plus become part of their program! Nick came to replace a sensor on our heater and was punctual, he even showed up a few minutes before the appointment time. He took care of the problem quickly, there was a 2 hour window for taking care and it took him just over an hour to complete the work. He was polite and friendly!

There is nothing worse than your AC going out during a Texas summer but there is nothing better than being able to rely on a company and their employees to get you taken care of. Nick S. showed up early (2pm-4pm window and arrived 15 mins early) to look at our AC unit and quickly determined what the problem was and fixed it. Throughout the entire process he explained what the issue was and the steps he was taking to fix it. Nick is a very personable guy and I appreciate the extra effort he took to explain everything to me. I was so impressed by his service that I signed up for their maintenance plan. As if often the case, we had our HVAC system decide to stop cooling the house during peak summer time in 2018. We recently had the system serviced and werent expecting another failure. Yet that didnt stop the compressor for dying late on a Friday evening.Naturally, I called and e-mailed multiple places. Britton was not only the first to return my VM, but were able to stop by later that evening. Not bad for a weekend.They quickly diagnosed the compressor had died. They could either check around for an expensive part on Saturday and try to get it replaced. Or just replace the entire HVAC system. Consider the one we had was over 7 years old, a less than reliable brand, and presented multiple failures, I opted for the second option.That decision was also helped by the fact that theyd be able to install the entire system the very next day, on Saturday. Not to mention it was reasonably priced. Dont get me wrong, it was still a large unexpected expense. But I got a new Carrier system with 10 year warranty that would even save money due to being newer, higher SEER, more efficient, etc.I should note there was an issue after installation. They forgot to remove some foam material which resulted in poor airflow. The same very knowledgeable technician came on that same day, during the evening, and quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue.Its been several months since this was installed. AC, Heating, Ventilation, all working perfectly. Highly recommend these folks for your HVAC needs.

Called them about my furnace not blowing at 4:45 in the afternoon and they had a tech at my door within an hour. Problem diagnosed and they were out the next day to fix the issue with the needed part. I cant say enough about the customer service and responsiveness both from Corinne on the phone and from John the tech. Ill definitely be calling them for any future HVAC concerns.
Steve arrived on time...... He was very friendly and professional in his work. He measured starting current, system pressures, added freon and explained why my system was more noisy when starting in the heat pump cycle than in the cooling cycle. I would use the company again and would be pleased if the service tech was Steve.
