First of all, the response time of Advanced AC & Heating is outstanding. Elizabeth got my call out to a technician almost immediately, so that in two instances we received service the first thing the next morning (We probably couldve gotten emergency service even faster, but it wasnt necessary). Charles, the technician, was super professional, performed a repair and passed on great tips. Until this visit, I never understood why we would sometimes get water in the secondary catchment pan. Charles explained how a faulty capacitor was responsible. He also passed on his assessment of where our ten year old systems stood right now and outlined our options as we moved further into the systems life.Based upon this visit, we signed up for maintenance with them. Charles explained how we could get a rebate from our co-op, and then, once again, Elizabeth helped us with the info for the rebate application. Result: $200 off our electric bill.I highly recommend Advanced AC & Heating.

My AC stopped blowing cool air late last night and I called Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating this morning. They were able to send Charles B. out very quickly, and he was exceptionally professional and courteous through out the servicing he provided. He went out of his way to verify that our system was still under manufacturer warranty which I hadnt even considered. It turns out the system was, so he saved us a good chunk of money! I decided to get their bi-annual maintenance so Charles then proceeded with that service. Charles was very thorough and gave detailed explanations of everything hed be doing as well as the costs associated. I would recommend Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating and Charles B to anyone.

My AC started to blow warm air towards the late afternoon but I didnt realize it really well until I returned home that evening. My AC installers were NOT available after closing on Friday evening. Being ticked about that I searched for AC repair here in Cedar Park. I saw the AAC&H closed at midnight! I gave them a call and Shelby responded very professionally and said a Tech would contact me in 30 minutes. Ok, fine well Joe contacted me in 15 minutes and said he would be here shortly because he was completing a job in Leander. I told Joe what the issue was and he knew right away what needed to be done! Long story short, Joe replaced the bad capacitor and also noticed my Freon was low (in a year old new HVAC system!! I will DEAL with them come Monday), so he charged and now my system works better then when it was installed last August! KUDOS to Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating!! Use this company for your HVAC repair as even though my system is under warranty, I will use these guys for maintenance and charge it to the folks that installed my system. AAC&H ROCKS!!

They came out quickly, very reasonable service fee. Everyone was kind and professional all the way from the initial phone contact to Charles showing up. Now you only expect in interactions like this just for the thing to be fixed, but I am curious and ask a lot of questions. Ive lived in Round Rock over 14 years and Ive had several companies come out to service/repair my air conditioning unit and these guys, by far, are the best! Id like to personally acknowledge Charles and Bruce for the service they provided. These are good young men and they represent the company well. Ill definitely call them the next time.

Called Advanced regarding my AC not cooling efficiently. Charles arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. I cant say enough good things about this company and their staff. Charles also solved a heating issue I had during the past winter. Both times the service provided was exceptional. Charles is the consummate professional that not only takes care of the repair, but also inspects the system for issues that may cause future problems. Advanced is the only company I now consider for my HVAC maintenance and repair.

They came out same day and were courteous which is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. Otherwise, I wasted my $70 having them come out and diagnose our HVAC issue. Plus they tried to take 600+ more for a job (capacitor—$15 part and quick labor and fan filter) than other companies quote. Makes me so glad I got a second and third quote to know I was being ripped off by the outrageous prices.

Bruce came out today and saved us from spending anymore time than we had to in a hot house. He was extremely nice, quick and punctual. Couldn’t say anything negative about my experience. Very happy customer!

I initially called Advanced Air when my heater stopped working last November. First I called one of the guys you see advertised on TV and after HOURS of their high pressure sales tactics, I called Advanced Air for a second opinion. They were able to fix the problem with my system in half the time it took the other company to give me a sales pitch. I worked with Bruce S. and he was great. He did give me an honest opinion about my super old HVAC but was able to fix my problem despite the fact that this system is ancient. This past weekend our AC went out and I called Advanced Air again. Even though it was a holiday, they arrived very quickly. It was Bruce S again! Bruce was able to get the system up and running again, even though its super old. When I do finally replace this system, I will definitely be calling Advanced Air again. Would highly recommend to anyone needing HVAC services. Gave them a call at 9pm on a Saturday, and Bruce was here at 10:30am the next morning (he would have been there at 10:30pm that night, but we opted for him to come during regular business hours). He was super nice and helpful, and got our a/c back up and running in about 30 minutes at a very fair price, all while it was raining at that!

In May 2021 did HVAC tune up via one of the HomeDepots vendor and found leak in system. I turned down the leak search from the vendor as quoted price seems expensive for me. I shutdown the system and started looking in Google/Yelp for HVAC servicing companies around my area. I was disappointed by few HVAC servicing companies for not providing leak search quotes as was told need to verify for leak again and then only quote for leak search can be provided. I am okay with re-verifying leak but not knowing the price for leak search was not acceptable.I had very good experience with Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating. In the initial phone call on 6/14/2021 they provided the exact quotes for service charge and leak search. On the next day 6/15/2021, Bruce (Comfort Specialist) went through the earlier diagnostic report and patiently listened to the HVAC history (which I documented). During leak search he found the issue (indoor evaporator coil has a shredder valve that was leaking and missing the cap) and fixed it (tightened up the core and put a cap on the valve). Since the system was low on refrigerant, ended up with filling around 4 pounds of refrigerant. Service fee and valve fix fees were waived and I was only charged for leak search and refrigerant refill. He did explain to me the core issue and provided me with the probable cause. I am very impressed with Bruces professionalism. Highly recommended and will call them next time if faced with any issue related to HVAC.

Absolutely the best experience. I was so impressed with Joe and his team. I’ve been overdue for a new AC unit for a while and of course on the hottest days it stopped working. When calling the after-hour service, Bruce came 35 minutes later. Wow! And unfortunately, he confirmed that there isn’t much he can do. I’ve asked regarding an estimate for a new unit and he advised to call the office in the morning to set up an appointment. He was very courteous and professional.The next morning when I called, there wasn’t anything available until two days later, but they were able to shuffle some things around and Joe came by in the afternoon the same day. He inspected the old unit and the changes that would have to be made. He’s given me several different options and explained in detail the difference on each unit.When my new AC was installed, Joe and his team was punctual and very professional. I was impressed with the timeliness and cleanliness of the new installation. Joe took the time to program the new thermostat and explained the functions in detail. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend Advanced AC, they’ve certainly gained a new customer.

My experience with Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating was by far the best level of service I’ve received in a long time. Not only were they immediately available when I had an emergency over the weekend, but the level of thoroughness continued a couple of days later to make sure I was completely satisfied and no issues would come up in the future. I felt important as a customer throughout the whole process and the level of expertise is top notch!!

The air conditioning unit in my house malfunctioned on a Wednesday in late July. I first contacted a different company as recommended by my home warranty company, and they scheduled an appointment for two days later. I took half a day off of work on Friday, but the first company didnt show up for the appointment and (quite rudely) told me I would need to reschedule for the following week.I called Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating in a tearful panic at 4 PM Friday. The sweet and sympathetic receptionist set up an appointment for a technician to come check it out that very same evening. The technician (Bruce) was courteous and punctual, and he practiced safe COVID-19 protocols in my home. Most importantly, Bruce was able to fix the A/C in under an hour for under $100! I really appreciated their compassion and sense of urgency, and I highly recommend them for your air conditioning needs!

Joe and Spencer saved our bacon today. Our AC had been out for almost 24 hours. I spent the better part of today trying to get a hold of the company that originally installed our unit so we could get a warranty repair. After 6 hours of no response and the house reaching 82 degrees, I called Advanced Air and they were able to come out in a couple of hours. Everyone from the person taking my call to the techs who came out were so friendly and helpful. Joe was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly. I wish I did not need these people but Im so glad they are here when we do.Our AC was failing to cool late in the day yet they were able to get Joe out the same evening to see us. He and his assistant were able to analyze the the problem (a failed circuit board) and were able to come up with a temp solution to keep it working for the evening.He showed up the next morning with the replacement part and had it installed before noon the next day.Awesome service at a great price!

These guys are the real deal! Courteous and professional. My home air conditioner stopped blowing cold on August 1st. Woah that was some fine A/C service! Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating was not only extremely prompt and attentive to our emergency A/C outage, but they were fast with the fix as well. Advanced AC and Heat is a one-man shop owned and operated by Joe Martel. He started out on his own in Jan 2017, however, he has tons of experience. This is a true Austin-owned small business. When you call Joe, he will personally answer and HE will be the person doing the work in your home. He was recommended to me by a local handyman (Mr.512 Handyman & Hauling) and I was sincerely impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. He came out the same day and quickly solved my AC issue. He simply fixed it; he did not try to up-sell me, he did not try to charge me for unnecessary things, and he guaranteed his work. His prices are extremely competitive and I will definitely be recommending him to all friends/family AND calling him again.

Our HVAC blower motor went out over night during a real cold snap. Roy came out same day, diagnosed the problem, went and got the part, returned and finished the job by the evening so we had heat back again that night. Very upfront on cost after diagnosis and used an OEM motor as replacement. Roy was awesome and really took his valuable time to explain in laymens terms what was needed to fix another damper motor issue problem affecting air distribution into one of our zones (not an immediate same day need, but a definite future job). Thanks again Roy for your time and expertise!

Our master bedroom was between 7 and 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We called Joe to come out and the first thing he did was bump our blower motor speed up to see if that would help at all. The temperature in our room dropped a few degrees, but not enough for comfort. He recommended adding a second return and supply vent to our room. He was able to get those installed in less than two hours and let me tell you, the temperature change is SIGNIFICANT. Were now sleeping in a cool room and he performed the job for a very reasonable price. If you have any a/c related concerns or issues, call Joe!

This is one of the first reviews I have ever written, but this company deserves it. Our AC was not working upstairs so we went on Next-door and looked at reviews. We called Joe Martel with Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating. We moved in our house two years ago and expected the worst because we had been told wed need a new unit soon after move in. Joe was able to come on short notice on a Saturday. After a thorough examination of our units in which he cleaned them and checked everything, he determined that we only needed a new capacitor. Joe was friendly, honest, and was not trying to rip us off. We are finally happy to know we have someone we trust to deal with our HVAC issues.

Fast, friendly, professional. Got my ac back up and running in less than 30 minutes and cut me a discount since it took him so little time. Also helped save me a buck by checking in with my ac warranty, which actually did cover the part he replaced. It sounds like my ac isnt the longest lasting, but Ill be sure to call Joe again when it breaks down again.

My AC stopped blowing cold air and I thought for sure that I was low on Freon. My system is 19 years old. Joe was scheduled to come to my house at 1PM but was actually 15 minutes early. This is almost unheard of for contractors. Turns out that my condensor was dirty. He fixed the problem and the system runs great! He was knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing HVAC repairs or service!!
