This is the second time the hairstylist had decided to cut my hair and the way she thought it look better not the way I wanted it also she cut my son’s hairs wife and I showed her pictures of what we wanted our son’s hair cut to look like and them again she cut it the way she wanted too cut my son was upset for weeks and this last time I asked for hard part and she cut my hair way to short and now my hair stick up like in this picture she told me that I had to buy really good hair spray in Oder to keep it down I’ve had a hard part since high school and had never had some one mess it up this bad there and on top of that she charge me to style it put a little bit of spray on my head and my hair was still sticking straight up now till grows back

I had never been to Floyds before, so I was a little apprehensive when setting my appointment today and seeing what the experience was going to be like. To put it bluntly, I wont go back to any other store other than Floyds from now on, thats how phenomenal of a job my stylist did. Very impressed, the vibe is like a cross between Zumiez and a record store, its so dope!!! I love the environment, the cut I got, and the delightful stylist Bug who cut my hair today.Simply put, if you do get a haircut here, try and seek out Bug or Mitchell because they are so delightful to be around and made such a huge difference for my mom and I. Bug was positively impressionable, bubbly and enthusiastic about her career as a hair stylists. We nerded out over D&D, what our hobbies were, and just getting to know one another felt so genuine and I deeply appreciated that.This is a hip, modern gig with all the amenities you could ask for. Its clean, well maintained and has a solid contemporary get-up. The entire experience was well worth the modest price. GO HERE for your next appointment!!! :) :)

Gabby is great!! I had a poor cut my first run with this Floyds and wanted Gabby to do the re-cut for me. She had to take the redo on it, which with the way energy was flying around us clearly credit to her character and not the establishments.The staff that does the scheduling was on a miss not telling me they had switched the stylist on me. When I request to be in someones book I shouldnt have to push to get the stylist I want. The stylist I was tossed to gave me a razor chop job which was super heavy on the front end making me look like a emo kid from the 90s. Gabby fixed it up and it now my sides are clean and the front has a little room to grow. THANKS AGAIN GABBY!! I will be bringing my boys in to get them all cleaned up for school.

Hit or miss depending on who cuts your hair. Watch out for Pam. Obvious she doesnt care about her job or doesnt have a clue how to cut hair. I cut my sons hair better during covid then the cut he received by her. I had to take him back to get it fixed.

I’ve been coming into this Floyd’s for around 4 years now, and I’ve consistently had great service. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, I’ve been seeing Gabby for the past couple of years always leaving with a good haircut and a smile on my face. I’m always excited to come back next time :)

Floyd’s is our go-to for a kids cut for my son. On a search for a new regular stylist we popped into this location and was happy to see the stylists detailed clean between clients. Mitchell was able to comb out my sons curls with ease. We are so pleased with the shape up he provided. It can be difficult to cut mixed hair and we are so happy with the results. We have left with a too short cut before and we were happy to leave feeling fresh a great length. Whatever product Mitchell used left his hair in place until the morning!! Thank you Mitchell and Floyd’s!

Been coming here for years. The issue is sometime you get someone who is trained and talented, and other times you get someone who once cut gum out of a child’s hair and now thinks they’re a barber. My point is inconsistency. When you find someone you like you follow them, but no one at Floyd’s with talent seems to last long. Not sure if that speaks to Floyd’s program for their contractors as far as continuity. If it does, let me suggest to the company; what are you doing to keep talent in house? Maybe an incentive program for the contractors who build a customer base. Find a way to reduce turn over!As far as my last cut; didn’t know the barber- he did an amazing job. I’ll come back for his services. Hope Floyd’s finds a way to keep him in their salon.

Ive been coming to floyds for about a year now and everytime I come in service is fantastic! Gabby does my hair and she does an awesome job everytime. Ive never left with a bad haircut.

So I went for a very simple low fade, skin on the sides and trim the top. My right fade line is about an inch lower than my left fade line. The fade itself if comparable to me having let drunk buddies in the barracks practice on my head 13 years ago.

The first time we went the guy did a great job. Unfortunately, we couldn’t remember his name and ended up with someone else this time. He did a terrible job, and was rude. My son’s hair is choppy and doesn’t look good. I tried to talk to the guy afterwards, but he blew me off. Since we can’t remember who did it the first time, we won’t be going back.

Ask for Sherri. She was damn good.

Can’t recommend Alaina enough. She gets my low fade perfect, every time.

The manager of the shop addressed the issue with my girlfriend over email and issued her a refund on the service misquote. This is much appreciated and Im glad that management was so attentive to this issue.Previous review:They did a nice job on my girlfriends hair but if youre going to quote the price of a service over the phone it needs to be honored. She called an confirmed the price of a hair wash at $10, when we came in they changed the stylist that quoted that price and after the wash they said the price was $30. It needs to be communicated when pricing on a service is going up 300% as a result of changes made by the establishment, the fact that a price change was not relayed to the customer prior to the service being performed is unacceptable.

I went yesterday for the first time to Floyds. Im kind of picky with my hair although its a simple cut. Plus being a women but Janna rocked it. My boyfriend even complimented how beautiful I looked and how she did a great job. It might not take much after months of not having my hair done but regardless a compliment is due when a great job has been done. Thanks Janna. See you in 6weeks.

The first time we went we received a decent haircut from someone. The second time we went my son got a wonderful haircut from Robert.

My first time here I came in with a terrible quarantine haircut and explained to Mitchell I needed to look professional for my new job. In 30 minutes he turned my mowhawk into a haircut I could wear to work. Saved me money and time and still provided an amazing haircut. Will be returning in the future. Not to mention they had a very safe and sanitary environment. Felt more taken care of here than the usual salon I go to that cost 5x as much. Thanks!

Sicily does an amazing job with my cuts, color and beard trim. Takes her time, very personable, takes pride in her work. Doesnt feel like a fast food joint where they try to rush you in and out. Dont get product jammed down your throat.

Robert is an outstanding barber, I have never left with a hair cut I wasnt totally stoked with. Hes also incredibly friendly and always makes my trip a delight. I refuse to see any other barber and make the trip to castle rock just for him. Floyds 99 always has a welcoming and chill environment as well. I recommend them to all of my friends.

Castle rock location. They cut my nephews hair and were very rude. They kept side eyeing and just all out unprofessional with me. On top of that, when they were done with him, they didn’t even clean all the hair from his chest or face. It was one of the worst barbershops I’ve been too.

Go see Mark with the tattoos at the Castle Rock location! Im VERY particular about my barber. Always have been. Very thankful to have found him by referral from another friend. Been going to him for a few years now.

*****great cut and great service for appropriate price*****I came to Floyd’s needing a last minute cut before flying out of Denver after visiting my parents. I am active duty military and I’m used to having my head butchered for $7. I was pleasantly surprised at how good someone can make my hair look for $24. Well worth the price! The service was great, my stylist was super friendly and helpful with recommendations (if you don’t know exactly what you want they help you out quite a bit). I couldn’t walk away without making sure she got the tip she deserved. I wish I lived here so I could go more often. If you’re a guy and want to treat yourself on a birthday,Father’s Day, or any day that you want to look your best, Floyd’s is the way to go!

I went in at around 8:00pm and was sitting in a chair by 8:20. Gabby cut my hair and did a phenomenal job! I’m not very good at picking what I want done with my hair, as I usually just buzz it it myself. Gabby was happy to cut off a little at a time until I was happy with it. She did a great job and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

DONT DO IT.After growing my hair out for three years I decided to get a very low under cut here which turned out fine, however, each time I returned to have the undercut redone, the stylist would state that the line was jacked or wonky because whoever did it mustve been inept and asked if they could correct it. This has happened three times resulting in an undercut much higher than desired. The stylists in every instance would bash their coworkers.A few weeks back, I decided to get my hair colored for the first time ever and it was an absolute nightmare. My colorist was late for the appointment and seemed very aloof and confused as to what approach to take. I asked for BRIGHT WHITE hair all around. I also realize that can be difficult to achieve and would accept a bleached look. After FIVE hours and multiple product fails, I ended up with half my hair blonde and the first few inches my normal hair color. The colorist tried several toners which she later found out were oxidized (apparently), not to mention all some form of grey. At no point did I ask for grey hair or to have it bleached over and over again to remove bad product. Nor did I ask for two tone hair. A manager reached out to me and asked if they could try again, which I agreed to, but, I called and canceled that appointment due to anxiety about seeing the same colorist and doing even more harm to my hair and wasting even more of my time. I asked that the manager, who was absent that day, get back to me to resolve everything and havent heard a thing since.I could go on about the terrible service and resulting outcome Ive endured, but, Ill spare it and just clean my hands of this place.What a pitiful expensive shame...

My son and I have been going to Gabby at Floyds 99 for about 2 years. She does great work. She is also very personable, talkative and funny. She cares about her clients, even buying me a card for my last birthday. I would highly recommend Gabby

I came in about 10 minutes late to my appointment, my fault of course and I apologized, but I was treated with complete disdain. Never seems to matter that every other time I have scheduled an appointment and been on time they seat me 15 to 30 minutes late. I have been coming here for five years, one rude cashier made sure I won’t come again.

I went there in Dec and was not totally happy with my haircut. I think the guy was just having an off day to be honest. But Megan the assistant manager went out of her way to contact me and fix the situation. She gave me one of the best haircuts I have had in a really really long time and also was extremely nice and friendly. Actually the entire staff was nice and friendly. I had my daughter hanging out with me while I got my haircut and they were all very super friendly to her as well. Without hesitation I recommend anybody to go there to get a haircut and also especially to ask for Megan the Assistant manager to cut their hair because she is awesome.

Been going to Floyds for years, one of the best places in CR to actually get a 0 fade. Today I came in, placed my hand on my sons head and said WE would like a hair cut. Receptionist asked me for my name, I gave it to her. I was seated quickly and after I was done I called over my son. They said, wait, his name wasnt on the list, would you like to put him on the list? I said, I walked in and said WE need a haircut and put my hand on his head. I cant remember her exact words, but basically she stated that it really wasnt her problem that I didnt give her his name. SHE DIDNT ASK FOR HIS NAME, and I guess I am just supposed to guess their rules and know that if I walk in with my son, with him standing right next to me, with my hand on his head, and say WE need a haircut that I better make damn sure that I give them his name because when they dont ask I am just supposed to read their minds and know that this is a rule that needs to be followed. What a crock, NEVER GOING BACK. If you are willing to deal with the staff, I recommend Hannah. She is great and will have a few extra openings each month now.

Ive been going to Floyds for several years now, theyre the only ones in town I would trust to cut my hair. Ive gotten salon cuts for hundreds of dollars that dont compete. sometimes (literally like, 2 or three times in ten years) the wait can be 45 mins+ but if you care more about speed than how you look, this probably isnt the place for you anyway. Without a doubt the best place to get your hair cut in castle rock.

Stylist butchered my hair, I mean butchered.Been coming there for over 5 years and never this bad. Chances are wont go back again. Too many new people in and out to be consistent.

A complete flip of the coin every time you go in.I went here consistently for over a year, and never had a good haircut twice in a row.Some of the artists in there know what their doing and take their time, but more often than not I walked out dissatisfied and ended up wearing a hat to cover choppy lines and uneven cuts. My son is so upset..had beautiful curly hair and asked for an inch to be cut off...Now his curls are gone and his hair is short-they took several inches off and you have to be careful with curly hair..will not go back.

In the area for a wedding and needed a haircut. First time to the Castle Rock Floyds but not my first time to one. Staff very friendly and place extremely clean. A short wait and then in barber chair. Great job as always.

This has been my regular place for years. Mickey used to cut my hair, then Sonya took over when he left. I’ve never been dissatisfied. In fact, when I’m traveling and have to go to other shops that butcher my hair, Sonya has been there to rescue it every time. Great people, awesome vibe. The only complaint I’ve ever had is with the parents of unruly, obnoxiously loud children with ear-shattering screeches that go on for a half hour (which isn’t Floyd’s fault at all). Seriously, don’t be -that- parent✌️😎

John Miller is a great stylist/barber! If are looking for a new stylist/barber you should give him a try. Whether you are looking for a new style or a classic cut he make you look great every time! No one has cut my hair better.

My son and I waited 45 minutes, as a walk ins... didn’t look very busy when we first arrived but after 7 people arriving after us and 45 minutes later I got frustrated for the girl up front to tellMe the 4 people also waiting (whoAll arrived after us) were still before us due to ‘call aheads’ no big deal I know we walked in without an appointment but instead of us waiting an hour before leaving without a hair cut a simple “hey you’re 12 people down in line, or everyone booked with appointments for the next hour, maybe you want to book something for tomorrow” would have been fantastic. Instead I’ll just across the street to sports clips from now on where they had way less staff and gave me a heads up on the 10 minute wait

I’ve been returning Costumer for some time nowand I couldn’t complain at all it was a quality cut, friendly staff and nice place. but I stoped going there when I left Colorado and I recently returned and asked for a high fade and the gal cut my hair very poorly not the quality i return for and I did not notice how bad it was till later that night I’m going to have to get it fixed I’m very disappointed. I do not think I will be returning to Floyd’s.

This place sucks.. I made an appointment to have a haircut.. I specifically asked for a barber who can use the straight razor.. when I get there for the appointment they said they dont have anyone who knows how to use the straight razor.. I have an important event planned for the next day and needed the haircut.. no one should count on this place.. very disappointed..

I went in for a low skin fade with a size 3 up top. I left with an unblended fade. I could visibly see each layer. The top wasn’t close to being even in length. I left and immediately went to another barbershop to fix my hair.

Effective, got my hairs cut. Just a little non personal and crammed in.

Horrible place. Been getting my haircut the same way for a few years. Very simple classic cut. Shave the back and sides and then follow the same lines. Just make it shorter. How someone could screw the up with few snips with a pair of scissors is beyond my comprehension. They finished, I sat there waiting for my them to get done with my son. Guess what? Same thing, different person. We are now considering shaving our heads. It is the same vibe as a Sports Clips or a Great Clips just filled with wannabe hipsters. Trust. You will be better off waiting the week to get in at a real barber. Oh. BTW. I Called and said something to them. My concerns were dismissed with “well we are really busy right now, what do you want me to do about it” in a snotty tone I didn’t expect. Gave 2 stars because we did get in at our scheduled appointment time.

I normally recommend Floyds, and will in the future. This was my second time visiting this location and the first experience was great, but my second visit was not. Robert took me and first impression was not great. He was sitting on his phone, and when I asked how his day was going he mentioned how it has been dragging on. He wasnt very friendly, dropped a lot of f bombs, and gave me an uneven haircut that needs to be fixed. Will shop around.

Mike H did an outstanding job cutting my hair. I recently moved here from Ohio and needed to find a new barber... I lucked out with Mike. He was very professional and you can tell he takes pride in his work. I will definitely be back and thank you for the new look my man!

All of the staff are very professional and helpful. Came in for a bald fade fohawk AMD some serious lineup work and JAIME absolutely killed this haircut. AMAZING HANDS! I now have a barber shop to call home.

Place has some style but to me its very similar to Sports Clips. It has a niche, but the skill level is lacking. My cut is a 1-size-fits-all buzz cut with the clippers, thats it. I could do it myself but sometimes Id like to just sit there and let someone else take care of business. Give me an old-time barber that knows how to use the tools any day.

Have been going here for years, as the population of Castle Rock has grown, even the call ahead feature sometimes yields a pretty long wait. Best option is to call for an appointment early in the morning or days before you need a hair cut.

Floyds has been my place to go for many years. The last few cuts have not been very good. Today was likely my son and my last visit. I started going to Floyds because it was a quality cut not like I get at Great Clips or Fantastic Sams. Not any more, Its a crappy hair cut at a high price with sub par service.

Montana was awesome! I will make it a point to stop next time I am in town and need a great haircut.

Called in at 10:30am and was informed they would be ready for me at 10:50. Got to the shop at 10:45 and it’s currently 11:30 and I’m still waiting. I’ve seen multiple people walk in who got sat right away. Don’t call ahead...waste of time with a very uncoordinated system. Super disappointed.

1st time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me. This would be the 2nd time we have made an appointment for our son to get a haircut. Let me say he is under 3 so sitting still isnt easy, both times we waited nearly 20 minutes past our time to get called. I cant complain about the stylists because I understand cutting a kid who doesnt sit still easy, but the lack of customer service from the front staff is laughable. I suggest that you stop taking appointments if you cant keep them, or retrain your front staff what it means to have service.

This is my first review I have ever written for any company. I started going to Floyds a few months ago. I have been working with Mike and it has been a wonderful experience. He worked with me to give me the perfect cut. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair, if you are too go see Mike.

I usually never had much of a problem, but came in for a 0 fade and left a little disappointed. When inspecting the cut in the shop, I didnt have my glasses on so it looked fine, but upon further inspection at home, the cut was pretty unsymmetrical and lazily done to be quite honest. It felt like it was just given up on halfway through. Wont likely return

I have been going there for the past 3 years. Always had a great experience and been happy with my haircut. Always been a huge fan of Floyds services and this location is no exception.

TERRIBLE customer service. I called earlier in the day to make an appointment for my son at 3:00 pm. Arrived at 2:58 and checked in with the receptionist. She said to have a seat, it would only be a minute. 15 minutes later, 6 other customers that arrived after us were all getting hair cuts and we were still waiting. I told the receptionist that we had an appointment at 3 and we’re still waiting. She didn’t have a clue what was going on and acted like I was a nuisance. Sat back down and waited another 5 minutes as more people walked in and we’re getting haircuts before us. Again told the receptionist that we had been waiting patiently since 3:00. Again acted like I was inconveniencing her by bringing that to her attention and told me it would be one more minute. Finally at 3:30, as I was standing up to leave they called my son’s name and was ready. What’s the point of making an appointment if they clearly don’t care. Will never come back to Floyd’s again.

Barber turned my back to the mirror.. asked how I wanted my hair, yet he didn’t follow direction.. then ended up not fading one side of my head..Went back to get it fixed, new barber made me feel as I was wasting their time.

Absolutely awesome shop. Im a guy and I always want just a normal mens haircut. Now, that of course is a broad and vague statement, mixed with just about every other man who wants the same thing. But that didnt stop this shop from doing a great job in giving me a nice look!This shops prices, at least for a man, are on par with those of Cost Cutters, even with a few dollar tip. The difference? This shop has paramount customer service! They not only were attentitive to my haircut, but they also shaved - with save cream & shavette to boot - around the areas the electric razor misses.Furthermore, the barber kept up a conversation and demonstrated care for the customer. When I go somewhere, I expect to be their focus from the moment I walk in. They met that mark...I highly, highly recommend this shop, especially to men since that was the viewpoint of my experience. If youre a demanding person like me, trust me you wont be disappointed!

The service here isn’t very friendly. They consistently have employees sitting around not taking customers when there are several people waiting. Even making an appointment it took 20 mins past my appointment time to get in.
