I have been to this salon a few times and get a different stylist each time. They have been so-so, but the last one was horrible. I asked for layers. I dont have them. She refused to dry my hair after it was cut. I asked her if she wasnt going to dry it, and she said, Its almost dry. Really? Two hours later, it was still somewhat wet. Even though I told her that was unacceptable, she wouldnt do it. I will never go to this place again.

I received a Groupon for my birthday for balayage, Nd was so excited as my hair definitely needed refreshed, but it did come out anywhere close to what I communicated to the stylist. I expressed that my hair tends to pull toward brassy tones and showed several pictures of what I wanted (trying to go much blonder, with an ash blond tone) and my hair came out looking nothing like the pictures I showed the stylist, and is definitely brassy and not ash blond as I was hoping. My haircut was great, but the color service is majorly lacking and Im very disappointed that 3.5 hours yielded this result.

I got a Groupon and tried multiple times to call and schedule an appointment and no one picked up the phone. I left a message and didn’t get a call back until almost 24 hours later. Then was told that since I visited in 2018 I was not eligible to use the Groupon.

I was serviced today by Katie, I can’t even express how happy I am with my service. I did a full foil, tone, cut, and blow out. I’m without words- I seriously love my hair. Not only does Katie have a great level of professionalism, she took the time to ensure I understood the process/maintenance of my new look. I am grateful for her detail oriented and kind nature. I highly recommend sitting with her and checking this salon out.Lastly- I had the chance to speak with Christy and another stylist at the front desk when checking out. How awesome is this team?! I absolutely love this salon. Of the two times I visited thus far, I have been more than satisifed. Bailey is a great stylist and colorist. I love my color results. She is super sweet, and it is so obvious that she has a love and ambition for doing hair. This place has just the right touch of professionalism without being over poshy. Its just the right comfy atmosphere. Christy, at the front end, is so friendly and always returns calls. Overall, a great place.

Karen is the best hair color specialist! My hair didnt look good after highlights done the previous day. She fixed it in a blink of an eye. Thank you!

Took my almost 3 year old daughter here after getting her first hair cut at cookie cutters and then I brought her back to cookie cutters 2 days later to fix things that didn’t look right. I then asked for her to have layers and the lady just cut the top layer of hair straight across about 3 inches shorter than the bottom layer. It looked ridiculous. Tatiana at Hair and Face Lounge did an unbelievable job fixing my daughters hair that was already at her shoulders (2 inches shorter than I wanted) she didn’t take any length off, blended the layers, etc. my only regret is that I didn’t take her in to see her first!!

Courtney is the best! I get highlights and a cut, and have been seeing her for two years and have never been disappointed.

I had a great appointment today with Katy. She gave me a fresh balayage with no complications after I shamefully used box dye during the pandemic. The employees were very kind and welcoming too!

WHAT A FIND! I moved to the area from out of state and positively dreaded finding a new stylist. After reading reviews, scouring websites and having multiple calls with front desk staff, I booked with Karen. She is a MASTER. Brilliant. Fabulous. Her work is gorgeous (highlights and cut). Her company delightful. She was on time, and no hidden or extra costs were added to the price of the service. I am SO SO happy to have found Karen. Even though Im driving from Durham to Cary, I consider it time well spent for the service she provides. She exceeded every one of my expectations.

The location is really convenient. Christy was very helpful with scheduling and answering my questions. Ashley gave me a great cut and blowout. I definitely plan to return to The Hair and Face Lounge.

I absolutely love this salon. Karen is a miracle worker. The staff here is super amazing!!! They are all so sweet and very friendly. You can really tell that they are passionate about their jobs and want to make you feel comfortable and beautiful. Karen really gave me the best cut I have ever had in my entire life. I bought a groupon and and made a appointment with Kelly . I explained to her I wanted partial highlights and a color retouch. I also had a issue with with the brassiness that was in my hair, it had been a while since I had a color retouch. Kelly was very thorough in helping me pick out my highlight and retouch color. She also suggested a toner that would tone down the brassiness. My hair turned out fantastic! Thanks Kelly!!!

I have nothing but good things to say. The lady up front was super sweet when I walked in and my stylist Tatiana was the best! She payed attention to every detail and she took the time to really understand my vision and what I wanted for my hair (which was a big change by the way). She was a joy to talk to and great company and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the whole time and that everything was to my liking! I love my hair so much it is stunning and it’s even better than I could have invisioned and it’s all thanks to her! I highly recommend this salon and Tatiana! I will be coming back 😊😊

Okay, if youve been in the area for a while and havent been here yet, what is wrong with you? First off: Courtney is absolutely amazing. I had my brows waxed and hair cut, and she was flawless in her execution and so easy to talk to! Complimentary wine or coffee while I get my hair and brows done? Girl yes. And she asked if I wanted another glass of wine after I finished my first... they arent skimping on you! Seriously... give these ladies a chance. They are so much fun and VERY good at what they do! I will never go to another salon. The price of a cut is $40 and it comes with a free wash, blow dry, and style. The products they use are Aveeda, so they are quality, and the whole experience was AMAZING! I told them to look up their reviews on Google, so I hope they see this! Love you, ladies!

Using Groupon to try this place out for highlight. First thing I was told that I need to pay extra in order to get highlight right, or my hair will orange.... My Groupon says highlight. No string attached!!!! Well I choose to walk out to get refund. Will not go back.

Got a groupon for baliage, turned out I needed low lights and some root color so they let me count the groupon towards that. Tatiana did a GREAT job on my hair and knew exactly how to fix my problem color.Friendly staff, cute salon. Thanks y’all!

Courtney Strickland gave me a gray hair cut. Ive been grieving out my hair to its natural color and also growing out my straight bangs. I had some awful layers and my bangs did not blend very well for obvious reasons. She did a beautiful job fixing my layers and blended my bangs beautifully. Im wicked happy, Ill come again to see Courtney for sure.

They have always done an excellent job with my hair. Though my hair is usually very easy since I am a male. The staff is very friendly and they are willing to fit you in at the last mine.Only reason for 4 stars is their price as it is slightly higher than other comparable locations.

I found this through a Groupon and Lexi cut my hair a couple months ago. She did an amazing job and was such a joy to talk to! I am picky about haircuts and have thick, coarse, wavy hair that easily frizzes. I can tell if its a good haircut by the way it grows out and this cut was awesome! I have found less than a handful of stylists who can cut my very thick, curly, wavy hair without having it end up looking like a shrub. Finally, though, I came across Alli at The Hair and Face Lounge based on a recommendation of a work colleague.Alli talked with me about my options---I was going from below-shoulder-length to short---and then gave me a super cut and style that I absolutely love. Ive received numerous compliments from friends, family, coworkers, and even people on the street. Not only is the style easy to care for, the cost of the cut and style fit nicely with my budget.The staff Ive met at The Hair and Face Lounge are warm, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this salon.

I adore this salon! I went here on a Groupon nearly 3 years ago and always came back. They have an amazing staff and every time I’m in there I leave feeling awesome. My hair always looks great and I trust them with my blonde, curly, thick hair :) 11/10 would recommend!

After reading some both good and bad reviews, I decided to give it a shot with a $19 groupon. Glad I did. Although I was 10 minutes late, my stylist, Lexi, was easygoing and friendly. Beverages were offered, including hot tea, which was great for my sore throat. I saw no evidence of the owners dogs, as read from a previous review. The salon was cute, funky, and full on a Saturday afternoon. The other stylists seemed friendly as well. Most importantly, my cut was cute and exactly what I wanted. I would go back.

Wow! My first trip and I knew it was going to be fantastic as soon as I saw “Aveda” all over the store front. You are definitely in for high quality service. Anne Marie was my stylist and i highly recommend her! She listened intently and made sure I left happy. My balayage turned out as close to perfect as I could’ve hoped. Better yet, she was an easy talker and conversation was smooth. Overall, I had a great experience and highly encourage everyone to check out this salon.

I wish I discovered this salon mich sooner. I recently moved to GA and had the pleasure of coming here for only less than a years worth of services. And let me tell you... I really miss this salon!!Alli always did a great job with my hair. I always requested simple cuts and styles, but my hair is very fine and wavy with FOUR cowlicks. Ive had many awful salon experiences in the past because they didnt know how to properly cut and style my hair. Alli always listened and executed what I wanted!Alli and another great stylist/makeup artist came to my house to do my bridal party updos and makeup... it turned out amazing!I cant thank them enough for such a great experience every time.

Whenever you move to a new place it is a rough go trying to find a hair stylist to stick with. I tried a Groupon for the senior stylist and got Alli. She is fun, honest about expectations with your hair, and most importantly is a wizard colorist and stylist. Ive never once had to get her to fix something or walked out feeling less than amazing about my hair! Ive been there about 2 years now.Edit- I still go here and continue to get great cuts and styles and recently started doing purple and blue and wild hair colors. They also do an amazing job with this as well and I recently had to use morgan instead of alli and she nailed it too. A few of my friends have started now going here due to seeing my hairstyles and loving the cut and color. Thanks again guys.
