Great place to get a quick hair cut..friendly staff

Was looking for a new stylist for a while now, since my regular of 5 years moved. As a business man, staying presentable is an unfortunate necessity for this redneck. Yet finding a stylist who is an artist, cares for her customer, pays attention to detail, and understands her customer proved somewhat challenging. I often looked cheap or not myself. So, I came here at 0 wait time and found Rosa. I am very happy with Rosas service! She took her time turning this redneck to pass for a well groomed RTP dude whilst still clearly showcasing a redneck. Im her regular now. I appreciate her experience and a sense of style. And I really like my new look!

Dee was very nice and upgraded me to the MVP since it was my first time there. She gave me one of the best looking haircut I’ve had in a very long time. I will definitely be coming back!

From the service provided to their products, Sports Clips of Stone Creek Village is a great place to take your boys (all of them, any ages!)! The stylists are very friendly and professional & they are great with kids! The salon is always clean too. My teen, 7 year old & husband love the hot towel treatment &/or shampoo as well! I highly recommend Spots Clips, you wont be disappointed.

New app for check in is great! Helped me find a location near me and avoid driving back to my normal salon. Mirabel did quick work and was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the visit and everything went like clockwork. Nice job!

My stylist Dora was good, and everything was good...except the check-out machine made me feel really bad. I got a regular cut (not MVP) but the check-out machine was going to charge me MVP for $25+tip. I told Dora about it but she kept telling me that the price will go back to regular $18 after I swipe my card, which I didnt believe. Since Dora insisted and I wanted to leave so I went ahead and added $5 tip onto it, and the system still showed total $30 on the screen when I swiped my card. I refused to sign the $30 bill, so Dora ask LYNN to help to do something about the system. Lynn looked pretty impatient and did something on the system. Then the machine showed regular $18 WITH FIXED TIP $7, and they asked me to swipe my card again. On the system I couldnt go back to adjust the $7 tip, so I politely told Dora about it. She even asked Is $7 not okay? I said Its okay, but I just hate to be auto-graded.As I expected right now on my bank statement it still shows I have two charges $30+$25. I will be much angrier later if that $30 is not cancelled which makes me have to call them again. Even so the $30 charge gets cancelled I am still mad at that when Dora said the price will be fixed after you swipe your card. and Lynn auto-graded me.

I usually take my son to the Apex location, however the manager there moved away, and she was the only one who knew how to cut my sons hair and we loved her. We live closer to the Stone Creek location, so I decided to give it a shot. The manager there was available and took my son back with no wait. She was very understanding of the situation and did an amazing job. We will definitely come back to this location.

Tues, Jan 8 ~ 2:30pm I went to this Sports Clips with my 12 year old out of convenience (we were close by running other errands) and I completely regret it.First, while waiting for my sons cut, my 4 year old daughter had an accident in the waiting area. The 2 women working there were not helpful as I was asking where supplies were to clean it up myself. It was difficult to even get the location of paper towels out of them.When it was time for my sons haircut, I specifically asked for a 2 on top and 1.5 on the sides and back (buzz cut) but pointed out the pronounced indent in his head telling her she would have to work with that a little... maybe going a little longer where it dips in.She cut his hair and was taking him for a shampoo and I noticed that it was extremely long. I asked, that looks really long; what number is that? The stylist responded a 5 and 4.5 like you asked for in a defensive manner. I said, No, I asked for a 2 and 1.5. She rolled her eyes and argued back, you said to keep it longer. So I explained again my specific instructions I had given before the cut. She reluctantly cut his hair again with a shorter blade. After his shampoo while she was beginning to ring me up, I noticed the top of his hair was completely uneven with longer hairs sticking up all over. I asked her if she would mind going over it again. She sighed loudly, with an obvious look of annoyance on her face, and took him back again.The cut still didnt work with his indentation. And I was charged $23 for this terrible cut and experience. I was ready to get out of there so I paid it and left. I am very disappointed with the haircut itself, but mostly with the attitude and lack of customer service of the staff. I would not recommend the Sports Clips at Stone Creek. Next time I will forgo convenience and take my son to the barber that we know and love.

We are completely upset! My fiancé is embarrassed by her haircut. We went to Dee today. Before we even left I had to ask her to trim around the ears and sideburns where there were large chunks of hair longer than the the rest of her cut.But wow! We get home and she goes to look at her hair and style it tonight to go out and it’s extremely butchered and uneven. I took a picture I would gladly like to send to the owner. We need a refund. We usually take our son here but after today no way!On top of it, my fiancé said Dee barely spoke a word and make it very awkward. Very disappointed since we have never had issues like this here before.

I visit Sports Clips every other month to get a haircut and Everytime I leave with an awesome new look! Would definitely recommend!

Nice clean space with friendly, good service. The key though is finding the right stylist. After 4 months of cycling through I have settled on Rosa and Jennifer. Good speed to those who get Dora.

I always have a great experience at this location. Missy is a wonderful stylist and the staff here are friendly and fast. If you are looking for a new place to try, give this one a shot. This particular location has changed staff in the past couple of months, so take older reviews with a grain of salt.

Absolutely horrendous. I asked for a low fade and got a 1 sized clip all the way up the side of my head. Asked for 1/4 inch off the top, now have 1/4 inch of hair on the top of my head. Will never go there again.

Would only trust this place to do very simple haircuts. Theres a ton of employee turnover and I have only once walked out with a haircut I was very satisfied with. Heather is a great stylist. Unfortunately she had left the place by the next time I went which I think is telling. The showfloor is generally kept fairly clean and most of the staff is nice so Ill give an extra star for that. Otherwise the price of the services are not very competitive and you can get a higher quality haircut for the same price if you shop around.I decided not to ever go back after I was charged full price for a haircut I had a coupon for. The discount was for donating blood and despite me insisting more than once that the price didnt reflect the coupon, I was told in broken English that the coupon was applied and would be taken off later. It wasnt.

Sports Clips is convenient, easy to check in and Rosa listens to what I say and consistently cuts my hair how I want it.

First time visit, very pleased but as a bald headed man I wish they charged by the hair.

First time at this Sports Clips location. No wait time, was greeted and shown to the chair within seconds of arrival. Staff was friendly and explained all the packages, without being pushy. I will go back!

I love how you don’t need an appointment here. I impulsively decided to get a haircut on Saturday evening right before they close, and I was able to walk right in. The lady who cut my hair was very friendly and did a good job.

I pick first available and get bumped by people who pick a specific stylist who check-in after me and end up waiting after them. That’s a 25 minute bump. Makes no sense at all.

I have tried so hard to work with this establishment. Unfortunately, today was it for me. My profile clearly states a four on the sides and I will guarantee you cannot pull a single hair off my head. The sides of my head are completely bald and the top might be a 1/4 inch. This is easily the absolute worst haircut I have ever received. I would go back for a correction but that would require my having hair to fix. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER RETURN TO THIS BUTCHER SHOP. I even explained to raleighna or whatever her name was that I wanted hair on the side of my head. If I could add a photo o would to give everyone a good laugh. Darn shame I have to go to work tomorrow. Will be painful. I would fire the idiot who cut my hair. I wished I could go on vacation. I dont blame her as much as the person who hired this incompetent person. I did tip her because she tried but man what a disturbing haircut. I would love for the manager to see this butch job. To top it off, she was clueless when I tried to pay with a credit card. Im so embarrassed for this business. Run and font look back.

Been to a Sports Clips before at another location. Even though more expensive I thought the care and quality was worth it. This location is the exception.No greeting when I came in. Staff was very distant. Remember to sign the piece of paper in the front that no one tells you about. Keep you eye on the que or you will be skipped.After I was skipped I informed the stylist that I was skipped. She then didnt say anything and walked away. Had to bring this up 2 more times to finally get my hair cut. Stylist pushed trimmers into my head and did a quick half-assed job.Will not go to again.

Ive been coming to this location since I moved to Cary in 2009, and the quality has gone downhill. The latest time I was in there (5-9-14), the stylists looked like they should be doing hair out of the kitchen in a trailer park. Their own hair was usually overtreated and poorly colored, and most had tattoos on their arms and necks....and this is a salon that presents itself as a classy alternative for men.My stylist, Kristy, absolutely butchered my hair. She had pictures to look at, but was more interested in talking to the other stylists that she didnt notice. I walked out with a Vanilla Ice flattop fade thats just going to have to grow out for a month....of course she was suddenly interested in talking to me when she rang me up and pointed out the tip line on my register slip.When I told Kristy that I wanted to talk to the manager, the manager wasnt around of course. I left my name and phone number, and I have yet to hear from her. In the past, the stylists did an awesome job, and the managers were both present in the store and actively working. This locations gone downhill.You have a few choices in Cary. If you want an affordable hair cut, theres a Great Clips in the Sams Mart strip mall a bit down the street. The cut will probably be a bit cheaper...and your stylist may be more competent. Or, if you want to get cut from a stylist who looks like shes taking a break from butchering the hair of her girlfriends in the bathroom of her trailer, youve got Sportclips....just dont ask for Frances, the manager. Shes not in today.

My son just came back from a haircut and it was shocking. It was the most uneven and horrible cut I have ever seen. I will be calling the manager and asking for our money back. I wish there was a way to give this zero stars.

If “No Wait” sign is on, it means nothing!!! It was on so I went in, and because stylist went on break, my wait went from 10 min to 45 min.... same kept happening to all that came in, wait was over an hour on board and sign was still lit advertising no wait... Very deceptive...
