This is the best experience we’ve ever had with a vacation rental. Our deepest thanks to Bill, the owner, for being so welcoming and so focused on excellence. The place is immaculate and beautifully stocked. The King-sized bed is exceptionally comfortable. And the location is fabulous... walking distance to the beach and the village. We will definitely be back!

In terms of the quality of this property I have nothing to add to prior reviews except to say that it is by far the most superior vacation rental we have stayed at.The apartment was absolutely spotless, impeccably decorated and had the best of the best in terms of furnishings and equipment. Sometimes it feels like a holiday rental doesn’t have the same quality as a regular dwelling, but not the case here. Lovely deep carpets in the bedrooms, beds and bed linen on par with a luxury hotel, plenty of space and everything you could need. Not to mention the view!Bill, the owner, is a charm. A lovely guy who is a bit of a local celebrity, which we discovered when we spent an afternoon with him, showing us around town. We enjoyed the experience all the more for his genuine interest in us having a good time. I don’t normally write reviews, unless I feel something is missing from past reviews that I can add to. In this case, for context, we have stayed in some of the world’s best hotels (One&Only Maldives as an example) and I can say that we enjoyed our stay in this Carlsbad home just as much as any of them.Thank you Bill!

An absolutely amazing vacation property! The location is perfect, the rate is fair and the host is great. Bill was always available and he has great recommendations on what to do nearby. The striking view from this oceanfront home is nothing short of spectacular. One of my favorite features is the wall of frameless sliding windows overlooking the ocean.This home is tastefully decorated throughout and has been maintained with royalty standards. It is well-organized, exceptionally clean and stocked with everything youll need and more. The towels and linens are fresh and new, the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of closet and dresser space. Although we didnt need it during our November stay, AC is must for us. It is difficult to find an oceanfront vacation property that has AC.The bathrooms are up to date, clean, spacious, and loaded with luxurious bath sheets, & towels. We cook most of our meals, the kitchen is chef-ready to cook or bake anything you want. The front patio is perfect for entertaining and barbecuing, complete with an oversized fire pit table. There is a nice grass area directly across the street that is great for watching the sunset or walking your dog. Parking on the street is always available and has never been an issue for us. Most of the neighbors are friendly (accept for the couple in the upper unit). This vacation home is the total package.

Best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in! The oceans views were incredible and the condition and cleanliness of the unit exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to come back!

What more could you ask for? Beautiful views, stunning place with all the amenities you could ask for. I’ll definitely be coming back to this place every time I’m in Carlsbad.
