Great place to visit. One of the few ocean properties that is literally right on the beach. Another perk is that its right in the village so food and shopping is very close by. Highly recommend.

Got into a car accident and could not make my reservation asked if they could give me a credit towards another stay and I never heard back from them that was 3 weeks ago.

We stayed here more than a month on Penthouse A, Food was stolen from front door that was delivered; when we asked the management to check cameras they said it will take few days and they have to involve IT.Very loud night time inside due to windows are bad.Patio is not private. There is no split wall. Why pay that much money for shared patio.

Cant say enough about the great experience we had here the last couple of years. Modernity at its finest at the heart of Carlsbad. Walking distance to awesome restaurants and footsteps to the sand. Highly recommend it. In the summer time the water is amazing to swim in and we recently experienced dolphins swimming closely to the shore.

Little bit of paradise tucked away in Carlsbad! Beautifully appointed newly renovated rooms. Large patios overlooking the Pacific Ocean in almost every room. If you get the ability to stay in the sand unit its a must! Located directly on the beach and perfect for multiple families! Management provides you with chairs and beach toys to further enjoy your stay! Prices are extremely reasonable compared to other properties! We will definitely be back to Ocean Villas soon!

My wife and I have been staying at Ocean Villas every month of April for the past 12 years. We were surprised there were new owners when we arrived last month. They have remodeled( still finishing it). They have done a spectacular job!!! The new owners are great people and Lily, the Manager, is a sweetheart. They are all so accommodating and could not be any nicer. It was a bit noisy while the remodel was being worked on, but we didnt care. They were most apologetic. We were just appreciative to be there. The only problem we had was we had to leave to come back home. We are counting the days to our return!! We would not stay any other place in Carlsbad!!

Absolutely amazing place! Rooms have been remodeled recently. Big, airy, very modern! Staff is helpful, friendly and always available to answer questions. Looking forward to our next vacation!

Awesome place! I rented 3 units and loved it.

We have been coming twice a year for summer and Thanksgiving. Never have been disapointed. Super family oriented and safe. Staff is amazing and love how clean everything is. My boys love the farmers market on Wednesday and can walk every where.

Its great to be on the beach. Its not inexpensive.

We have stayed here in October for several years, this place is great. Very comfortable and direct access to the beach. We have seen dolphins every day for the past five days. Beautiful sunsets too.

One of the best vacation spots in SoCal. The view from Ocean Villas is beautiful! Its in a great location. The staff is very kind and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed.

Located right on the beach which offers great views and easy access to the ocean. There is shopping and food just a block away. The beach is narrower here, but you can beat being this close to it.

Wow, I ve been coming here for years and still absolutely love it. Plus they remodelled the whole place. All very nice furniture and trim. Still a very quiet building which is appreciated. Still amazing views and the absolute best location ie one easily walked block to the village with all the restaurants although you really should make a point of having lunch at Mas Cantina which is about four blocks away but worth the effort😁 The Compass is also fantastic. I am already booked for two weeks again next year. And lastly they have a new onsite manager and she is fantastic. Thanks Nicole for everything!

Awesome service and units are spacious and very comfortable

We have stayed in the penthouse suite at Ocean Villas for several consecutive years now; Last trip just wrapped up on Sunday; Plain and simple we love the following about Ocean Villas and highly recommend them: 1. Location! Perfect short walk to the village. 2. Location! Right on the beach ie no busy road to cross to walk on the sand; 3. Quiet! Ie no pool with screaming kids 4. The bedrooms are very large and very accommodating; Kitchen is well stocked and the full size fridge/freezer is perfect; 5. Clean! The unit is always impeccable when we arrive. 6. Staff! Cindy and the rest are fantastic to work with; 7. We love having the dual patios ie one facing the beach for morning time and then when the sun gets too hot you can move to the street side patio which is in the shade at that point; The only thing I would change about the suite is I’d add air conditioning for those really warm days; realistically you never need it but if the temps get into the 90’s then it would be sweet; We’ve already scheduled for our next October trip and can’t wait!Update, April 2020 back again and still fantastic! Plus Id like to add after so many years of coming here that I really dont need a/c here, the ocean breeze takes care of the heat.

I visited a friend who was staying here. It was a little rundown-looking inside, but the location itself was beautiful and it had a very useful deck/patio area that was great for a family gathering
