My fiance and I went ring shopping at several jewelry stores in the Ann Arbor and Detroit area and were struggling to find something special and unique within our budget. Tammy met with us and we showed her some pictures of rings that were interesting, she went to a case and came back with the one. She also coached us through diamond selection, the purchase process and fitting. Were also generally anxious around major purchases and Tammy and her staff helped us feel comfortable with the process.

I was specifically told when I stopped in your store some months after you opened that you took over the other stores business and its clients and cheerfully would honor my lifetime battery replacement. The young woman I spoke to today said you stopped honoring the guarantee 2 years ago. So you were honoring it and Im not happy. I dont give poor reviews unless I am treated poorly or unfairly.Stopped in today to be told they will no longer honor the lifetime battery replacement for which I paid them $16.91 Went to get a replacement a few years ago only to find they were closed with no indication of where they moved. Paid for a replacement at another store. When I found the new location I stopped in and asked if they were still honoring the lifetime battery replacement as I have the receipt and I was told yes. In a nutshell, I paid $16.91 for one battery replacement at that time and today the salesperson wants $10.55. Never going there again. Not good business and not happy.

Okay, this is funny. I have been using Jacob Matthew Jewelers for years. They have always been great. I am not a educated jewelry customer, and they have given me the education I need to feel comfortable making a purchase from them. Most recently I brought in a watch for a new battery... and found out that it was solar powered. Ugh! They didnt even charge me for the time. :)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tammy and her wonderfully friendly staff at Jacob Matthew Jewelers! I was having difficulty finding the perfect sapphire engagement ring, and they absolutely nailed it! The first time I walked in and explained what I wanted Tammy had a different approach, instead of designing the ring and finding the stone, she found the right stone first. I left the appointment and 15 minutes later she called to say she had 3 sapphires on order. She did a great job finding my perfect ring! Her staff truly cares about you getting what you want and pleasing the customer. There were many times she could have upsold or upcharged me and didnt. When 2 weeks after getting my ring I noticed a small flaw, her team took it back and repaired it in quick order with many apologies. For the rest of my life I will always look to Jacob Matthew Jewelers first for all of my sparkly thing needs because they absolutely care about you and your wants!

They have a very wonderful selection and competitive pricing but what far and away stands out is their customer service. I worked primarily with Tammy and Bryan, but the whole staff is amazing. I am pretty young and definitely did not know what I was doing when I first walked in the store. Came here with my lady in search of an engagement ring, and BOY did we come to the right place! I love this jeweler! I just came in to get three watches adjusted to size and I felt so accommodated. The staff was extremely friendly. Kristin, who adjusted my watches was very efficient and personable. I can tell she cares about the service she provides. And the adjustments were only $10 each! I have been going to this place since I met my wife. They were still at their old location. They’re really nice and friendly. I started buying Pandora items from them and ended up getting our engagement rings. I have to mention here my wife’s ring that we customized. They helped us drawing it, gave us a 3D ring print, and sent us a short video. The ring was even nicer when it was done. Their prices are better than the other stores that we visited. We recently bought a wedding band for my wife on a flash sale 40% off! Waiting for it to get resized.

I wanted to do something special for my wife. So I went to Jacob Matthews Jewelers and pitched them my idea to give my wife a bracelet with all 10 grandkids on it.
