Our A/C went out on a Thursday night. Green made a service call on Saturday morning which was the earliest they could schedule an appointment. The service was done quickly and efficiently. No problems. Very courteous and knowledgeable service technician. I will definitely refer Green H/VAC and will continue to call on them for any H/VAC service. needed.

Called up and they immediately made me an appointment which was super helpful! And the guy they sent out was super honest and direct with me, which I liked. Unfortunately I had nothing wrong with my AC but they had to still charge me the $80 visit. So that wasn’t all that great. But they’ve always been very upfront and caring when it comes to any issues we’ve had.

Green was the original installer of the Carrier Heat and AC system for our new home 7 1/2 years ago. I have used their annual maintenance plan except during builders one year warranty period. In addition, when we decided to finish the basement in early 2016 (5 years ago) we elected to have them install the Carrier Heat Pump system. Service has always been timely and one minor repair to the original A/C compressor (failed relay) was completed quickly after a thorough system check in February 2012. Hats off to the professional technicians and support staff that schedule the semi-annual inspections/service of both our systems.

The builder used them to install our HVAC system, EVERYTHING in the industry says our home should have at LEAST a 3.5 ton unit, they ONLY installed a 2 ton unit, it will NOT cool our house, and of course our electric costs are high because it has to run almost non-stop!! I do not know who decided to only install a 2 ton unit in our size home, but the fact they were willing to tells you all you need to know! STAY AWAY!

Great value, very knowledgeable, wear the mask and shoe coverings, and help you stretch your dollar. Just had Steven out and I feel pretty smart for using them. I initially called this company in May 2021 for one of my AC units . They came in and fixed the problem and had me signed up for there maintenance program. This past Saturday my upstairs unit stopped working. Jason their tech came in and misdiagnosed the problem said the system is running properly but after 4 hours the system shut off because the water was overflowing in the drainage tray and leaked into my ceiling…. Which they are not taking the blame for …. They think Jason was correct. Anyways office staff Wendy and Lisa are unprofessional…. They did not let me talk to the manager or the owner of the company. They refused to finish the job “because I will not be satisfied anyways “ no wonder these days small companies are not survivingAccording to Lisa they have enough business and they don’t need my business.If the owner is reading this please talk to your employees and tell them not to Hang up on the customers BTW your employee Clifton who came the next day to fix the system which he was not able to fix is a wonderful person

He did an excellent job and maintained a clean work site by putting sheet down in our MBR to catch the debris from cutting the drywall and installing the new damper. Job well done.

I was very happy with my experience with Green Heating and Cooling. I wanted to replace 2 HVAC units in my house. I worked with Heath New. He is an extremely competent salesman with installation experience. He was able to answer all of my questions and I had a lot of them. The installation went very smoothly. The installers put down new tarps to protect all of the floors and wore booties. After the installation, the office set up a commissioning appointment to make sure all installation details were completed correctly. My 21 yr old HVAC system needed replacement. Jimmy Gibson came out, assessed my needs, provided 4 quotes with full pricing and payments listed plus the link for financing at 0% interest free for 36 months. I made my selections, applied for financing and 4 days later Isaac and Ricky came out to install my new system. Isaac and Ricky are true southern gentlemen, polite and respectful. They took the time to explain the zone system and how it worked, showed me the air purifier filter and explained where to purchase/how to replace, where to warranty register my units, explained how to get the app for my WiFi thermostats, and even vacuumed the area that they were working in before they left. This was the easiest process ever! I highly recommend this company!

My first house’s HVAC was installed by Green. About a week before the warranty expired, my AC went out. A tech came out, diagnosed the problem, and said the company would call with the quote. I received a call and informed the $1200 part was in stock and ready to install. When I informed them I was under warranty, she verified the warranty, and said she would call back. I received a call back and informed my part would need to be ordered. A week later, with an internal house temp of 97, my AC was fixed.It amazing that when I’m a paying customer, the part is in stock. When I’m a warranty customer, the exact part they just tried to sell me now has to be ordered.This company is staffed by crooks. I will die of a heat stroke and set my house on fire to stay warm before I would give Green Heating and Cooling fifty-cents of my money again.

This is a company you can count on. They listen to concerns, address, respond and show up when they say they will. Mr.Clifton was great. Very professional, precise, helpful and sensitive to Covid-19 concerns with appropriate PPE and procedures during inspection and services rendered. I felt safe with him in my home. That matters! I used them again besides service of my units about two months later. I needed to replace my ac/heating unit last month. They were reasonably priced and best of all made a service visit at no additional charge to make sure I stayed cool until. the new unit could be installed within a 2 week period. I have been there customer since 2013. They are a very good company.

A great team to work with. Firstly, met with Heath how came out mid-afternoon on July 3rd to review our current (20 year old) system. We spent a good amount of time talking about the pros and cons in both capabilities and running costs of various setups and really gave me the sense that he wanted me to get the right system vs. the flavor of the month, current promotions, or most expensive system. The Trane system we agreed upon was very fairly priced and I could have had it installed the next week if my schedule would have allowed it. As it was, we set a convenient date and the installation team of LB and Randy arrived at 7am to beat the heat! They were done within 2 1/2 hours for a completed removal of the outside and attic units of my original system, and the installation of the new units - incredible! Run fast and hard away from this company!! Purchased a new home in May 2018. In August, the air conditioning fails in the main part of the house. Company comes out and determines that the larger air conditioning unit is out of freon causing the compressor to burn out. Two days later, Green is onsite to change the unit. That technician finds a coil to be burnt out in the furnace. Each piece gets replaced. In January 2019, we place a call that 3 vents in the front two rooms are not putting any warm air out of the vents and a fourth vent in front of the front door has minimal output. Technician arrives to check the situation, measures the temperatures throughout the main floor and agrees that the vents are not putting minimal to no air out of those four vents. Technician stated they needed to review the data. Two and a half weeks later with me hounding our builders warranty manager for the results, the warranty manager claims that Green has finally sent the results over stating that everything is within industry standards. Nothing would be done about the little to no air coming out of the four vents. Technician didnt even check the air ducts in the attic. I explained to our builders warranty manager and they agree to add some dampers to hopefully help with the air flow. I called Green and asked to speak with the general manager regarding all of the issues in a brand new home. After going through the details with Jim at Green, he laughed at me on the phone. I had it on speaker and my wife and lawyer daughter heard and agreed that Jim was very rude and couldnt believe he laughed at me. That was a Friday evening. I called Green the next Monday asking to speak to the owner. Unfortunately, Jim apparently is a co-owner and returned the call. Though he apologized for laughing, he meant to make light of the situation. My wife and I never found any of the problems to light or funny. Once our warranty period is over, we will NEVER do business with Green again. We wish we could get a competent service now.

Green Heating & Cooling came out recently for a regular HVAC check and to replace a specialty filter that my system takes. Everything went very well. The technician noticed a damper on my system and suggested that it be placed in the half position during winter months to allow more heat to reach the second floor. Horrible. Upstairs unit went out in August 2016 during the hottest point of the summer. Inside temps reached 98-100 degrees. It took them a week to come out and fix the issue. Then after they fixed the issue more issues came up. Our unit is LOUD and the first tech said its probably because the pipes werent properly insulated and are rubbing the framing. So instead of addressing that issue they tried to put a buffer on the motor and that didnt work. They replaced the unit and not only did that not work it made my unit run constantly and raised my bill $50. I told them Im still having the noise and my bill went up. They said the noise is an acceptable level (to them) and there was nothing more they were willing to do about it. I told them about the pipes rubbing and they stated that even though they were responsible for installing the pipes if I want to address that issue and rip open the walls it was at my own expense. So now I have a loud unit, that runs constantly that I need to still have to pay to have fixed. Will never contact them again. Majority of my neighbor has the same issues.

Wanted to have two Aprilaire units installed in my HVAC system and got Green Heating & Cooling from Aprilaire web site. Called and spoke with Wendy who said someone would call back; spoke with Keith within thirty minutes and from then on the transaction was smooth.Keith gave me a prices, setup an install date and two techs showed up (LB & Randy) on time, were friendly but got straight to business and the complete install was done in a little over an hour- and they cleaned-up after themselves.Green is the way a business should be run.As a side note, I had previously called another local company, left a message with the secretary and I made two other follow-up calls and they NEVER returned my call.Green has certainly earned the Five Star rating as far as I am concerned.

I just had both my heat pumps replaced as well as my crawl space duct work. The entire Green Heating and Cooling team was a pleasure to work with. We had several challenges on this project but Jimmy Gibson worked hard to overcome them and get me the correct system! I had a condensate Pump go out. They charged me $80 for the service call which is fine. But they charged me $179 for a Condensate Pump which I have looked up and I can buy anywhere for around $40. That is an outrageous and dishonest markup! Ill go somewhere else next time and I recommend that you not use this company.

The Heating strips in my heat pump were tripping the breaker. These folks determined the problem quickly and made arrangements for Johnson Electric to fix the issue. Will definitely use these folks again. 😎

No time for small jobs, only the high priced ones!Took a week and a half to get a quote. I was promised time after time that a technician would call me. Once he did, my small job of only swapping out a outside AC unit was not going to make them enough money. I even have my own freon and as I said all I wanted was one AC unit replaced by another I have sitting right next to it.To get me off their back the owner quoted me $670.00 to do the job. GET A GRIP!Sorry Mr Green that I am a disabled Vietnam War Vet on a small disability check and cant afford one of your new AC units!If your a Veteran or know one then dont give this sorry greedy (you know what) your business!

The short story is this. Green does good work, and their employees are professional. That being said I had a furnace scroll fan come apart that was still under warrantee. I paid the employee the $85 diagnostic to tell me that I needed the new fan. He didn’t however have the part in stock, even though I told him what part I thought I needed. He would have to get the part and return the following week. I told them I needed the furnace working before the next week. They did return Saturday morning to replace the part. Here’s where I am less than satisfied. Green initially told me the cost of the repair was going to be about $650, all labor because the part was under warantee. I told them that I was unhappy with the cost, and they said the after hours charge was driving the price up. I countered with “if you would have brought the part I told you to bring we wouldn’t be having this conversation”. They agreed to reduce the price but I still got stuck with a $440 charge, plus the $85 diagnoatic charge, (all labor,) for a job that the employee took about 75 minutes to complete. I’m not sure about the mathematics on that. As far as I can tell I paid a furnace repair company over $350 per hour. To me that feels very excessive, and that is after I gave them about $20k in business when they built the house. For that reason I cannot give them a wholehearted endorsement as I’m not sure they are charging proper rates on their shop rates.
