Two of our neighbors referred Able. We called several companies, some a no show, everyone wanting to sell something and one quoting about $24k over an 8 year contract for 2 systems. Stone from Able showed up and less than $300 later everything was up and running wonderfully. We did not even need the new units everyone else tried to sell us. Able is honest, friendly and knowledgeable. They will be our go to team for heating and air from now on! The best!!!

I am very comfortable with my choice in Able Heating & Air. Our architect recommended three AC units, but the owner, Stone Swatts, reviewed our plans and showed us how the system would be more efficient with two units and dual zones. He could have made more money by selling us the three units that we thought we needed, but Stones honesty and knowledge saved us THOUSANDS!!!

Our heating and air conditioning system needed an inspection and some work done to improve the air filter holder. I requested Mr. Swatts to come by for a discussion of what could be done. He responded promptly, looked at the system, and had good suggestions for constructing a filter-holder box outside of the blower compartment. I invited him to inspect the system, construct the box, and install a modern electronic programmable thermostat. I also asked him to inspect the furnace discharge pipe which was rusting. He had an open slot the next day for the work. Mr. Swatts and his assistants, Adam and Mac, arrived promptly, the work was done with precision and efficiency, and they cleaned up well after their work. The furnace discharge pipe was badly rusted and was replaced. Mr. Swatts gave clear instructions to my wife on the programming of the thermostat. We agreed to contract terms for a system inspection twice each year. We are very happy with their service, and its comforting to know that the furnace is safe for another year. I have a great respect for carbon monoxide. We couldnt ask for better service than what we got from this company. --Jim S.Heres a P.S.: If youve decided to have Able inspect your system and service it, youve made a wise decision. If youre still using an old fashioned mechanical thermostat, consider having them install a digital, programmable thermostat such as the Aprilaire 8400 series they installed for us. After setting the time time, you can set the temperatures for four modes: Wake, Leave, Return, and Sleep. Its nice to sleep in a cool room and wake up to a warm room in the morning. Reminds me of my early days in the cotton mill village houses that were heated usually only in one room. I enjoyed sleeping in an unheated back room with a blanket and a pile of quilts on top of me. :)May 21, 2020 another Five Star PerformanceMr. Swatts did our Spring/Summer system service today, and the work was excellent. The AC unit was thoroughly cleaned, filter checked, and a potential problem corrected. All work was done efficiently and courteously. We couldnt ask for anything more. The online-billing and pay works smoothly.

The only people we use! Friendly, responsive, and most importantly, they actually know what they’re doing!
