It was dirty. My nails were so mis-shapen and after a week I had 4 fall off and the rest were pulling up on the edges!She was on phone calls/face time a lot, on speaker and it was super inappropriate- the conversations were not ok for customers to be a part of!I just paid $45 at another salon with 4 repairs and hers I paid $65 plus tip(it felt like she just threw out a price) and then showed me her tax bill to justify it when the look on my face was total disbelief!!! NOT even close to worth it!

I never write reviews, I went once and wont be back. Took 75 minutes for a pedicure, she was continually talking and was on facetime for part of the pedicure. Tools did not sit in sanitizer. Was talking the entire time, often about race and with frequent disparaging comments, not relaxing at all. Painfully removed ingrown nails without asking, resulted in an infection. Pedicure was below average at best, then told me $40 for a pedicure, and then corrected herself and said $45.

I love this place. Miss Song and her family are not only amazing nail technicians, but warm, open, interesting people. We had a party of 7 for a wedding and they were able to go with the flow of our changing numbers and colors. The salon has over 2000 colors and a couple of sweet lap dogs. Most of all I enjoyed the conversation and welcoming feeling from Miss Song and her family.

If your looking for a massive selection ir choices of color this is the place to go..

My nail shape finally compliments the shape of my hands and nail bed. Its so hard to find a salon that cares enough to make you look good and not just get you out the door. I absolutely loved my experience!

Great nail salon. She knows what she is doing and taught me a few things while I was there. She is not satisfied until you are and will make sure you like how your nails look before leaving. Abundant selection of polishes. Highly recommend.

Ms. Hong gave me an incredible experience! I asked for coffin shaped acrylic nails and she has pure talent to make them look very natural. I felt very comfortable during my time there and left feeling like I made a friend! :)

I lied and said I liked my nails just so she would hush and we could leave. She is a very talkative woman. I think she means no harm but my nails took forever and not one looks like the other in length or shape. She never asked how long I wanted them or what shape. She spoke about every race and I even told her she was racist she said she couldn’t be because she is mixed. I wasn’t mad just....nah I will go somewhere else to spend my money and get nails the way I want them.

Super racist. Expensive. Bad service. On the phone shouting about Jews and not telling blacks apart. Stopped pedicure to talk to people walking by. Swearing in front of children. Place looks like a warehouse. Chairs arent massaging. Bubbles in the polish because she didnt paint it on right. Wasnt even worth trying for a redo. If it had been $20 it would have still been barely worth it, and it was $60. Go literally any other place.

The owner was nice, but all over the place. She used clippings from other nail sets she had done. She didnt clean out the cuticles or buff my fingernails before randomly gluing nails on. The nail polish was all over my fingers and the shape of the nails was very inconsistent because she kept getting distracted. Paid $60 but ended up taking the nails off because they werent done well.

Great service, lots of nail polish colors, good conversation! Enjoyed being pampered so much with my side kick!

The good.... my nails came out very nice and lasted for a week!! Thats why I gave three stars.The place is a mess, not relaxing at allThe bad... owner was eating, using her cell phone, very unprofessional. She and her husband do it all and switch back and forth from mani to pedis. Gross. She was actually working on her own fake chipped nails with the dermal in between doing mine!!! Nothing was clean or sanitized. Didnt see her take out sanitized anything!! Nothing was wiped down between customers.Where Im from, after they do your cuticles, file your nails, they make you wash your hands before they use the polish so you dont get a fungus. Good thing I was on antibiotics already.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Essential Nail Spa! I recently got a pedicure there and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Di was very welcoming and hospitable.

Really dirty salon, really basic service with no frills, and more expensive than other places in town. My nails look... Ok, but no more than that. Owner was on phone the whole time and the place smelled like dirty feet. Wish I had read reviews before wasting my treat yourself day on this place.

As a 38 year old male having never experienced a pedicure, I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. Hong! She was a pleasure to visit with, worked very quickly and always had a smile. She even shared some of her lessons in life and love for motorcycles and family. Oh, and my feet looked and felt great! Thanks Mrs. Hong, Ill definitely be back :)

Great people, awesome manis and pedis in a refreshingly bright, pretty space. Went to see them during a bridal/bridesmaids ladies day out. The owners absolutely went out of their way to accommodate us and even let us bring in wine while we enjoyed their services. Great, memorable, personalized, enjoyable experience. Highly, highly recommended.

This is the ONLY place I will go to get Manis and Pedis. They do an excellent job and provide quality work. I always know their work will last. The atmosphere is both fun and relaxing. Hong and Di are great people, very knowledgeable and truly caring about their customers.

Great job with large party and with problem nails (thick, or ingrown). If you love the Dremel, this is your spa. Ms. Hong has a gift.

Excellent experience. I had both a pedicure and manicure and will definitely use her again.

I gave her two stars because the nails came out great. But the experience was awful. Shes crude and racist and I felt uncomfortable sitting there. My friend and I waited 5 hours after she LEFT IN THE MIDDLE TO GET A SALAD, talked with other patrons, switched back and forth between people. Her daughter was rude and gross leaving half eaten food everywhere, taking the utensils that the technicain was using.

I waited for over an hour for a pedicure and finally put my shoes back on and asked for just a manicure. All she did was paint my nails, no soak or cuticle removal... $35.00...There were spit out sunflower seeds in the pedi chair and and everything was dirt nasty....I am not usually one to complain but the worst manicure I have ever had in my life...

I have been gazing off and on all day at my newly acquired full set of gel nails. My hands are transformed! I went in to this salon the day before yesterday for the first time: first time at this particular spa, first time in several years getting tips and a French manicure on my thin, splitting, Vermont-winter nails. Ms. Hong and De were exceedingly professional, pleasant and competent. I had called ahead to check on whether they could see me last minute and they were more than accommodating when we all realized that I had said I wanted a mani when really what I wanted would required them to stay late - really, really late. I was their last client of the day, and they actually fed me dinner! The salon is bright, whimsical and warm with over 2000 bottles of nail polish. Ms Hong said she has the biggest nail salong in Vermont - not hard to believe. Go there.

Such a fun experience and my nails look fabulous!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience and sat waiting for a pedicure for over an hour. The water turned cold and another patron waited even longer. The service was okay but the owner kept switching from person to person and kept starting and stopping my pedicure. It was frustrating and after being in the salon for close to 2 hours I asked her to finish so I could leave. I would not go back after this.

My mom and me went here during a VERY difficult time in our lives, it was like a vacation away, from my idiot ex wife at the time.Thank yall for a moment of peace.

Simply the best.

I did not like how they do it, they are very nice but they filed badly, they removed the paint with an electric file, and not with nail polish remover. In addition, the painting was badly placed and the next day I had to go to another place to have it done again.
