We could not be happier here! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The pool is big and amazing. Everything is so well kept. The maintenance requests are answered QUICKLY, even for minor issues. The staff do fun and nice things for the residents, such as scheduling food trucks, paint parties, and even giving free breakfast on the go the other day. It is a wonderful place to live! The apartments are big, nice, and laid out well. All the staff are wonderful, but Susannah deserves my shout out as she is who helped us get our lease and has been more than accommodating and kind ever since. 10/10 do recommend living here!

I love this place!! I recently relocated from IL to NC and Windsor team made the relocation smooth and stress-free!! I’m very thankful! All staff members have been very helpful and professional and they take the time to answer all of my questions. The complex is beautiful and my apartment is wonderful! Very spacious, very comfortable, love the layout, feels like “home”. Maintenance is awesome too!! Quick response time and fixed any issues in my apartment in a very timely manner. Gorgeous pool and community area! I’m very pleased and I absolutely love living here. I recommend living here to anyone!!

A wonderful community to live in. The apartments are designed so that there is minimal noise from neighbors or outside. Grounds are well maintained. The staff is personable and friendly and always willing to get things taken care of as quickly as possible. Great walking area around the complex. Such an amazing place to live! Buildings are well designed, layout is amazing, noise is minimal and neighbors are amazing! Design of units is so cozy and the bathtub is so spacious!As for leasing and Maintenance the crew here is outstanding and so personable! They really take the time to get to know you and check up on you all the time. No apartment place can ever be perfect, but what makes them astounding is the effort they go to correct or fix anything you need or to lend a hand! That is what truly makes this the best place to live!

I love this place it’s quiet my leasing agent Susannah was so wonderful he help me find the right spot. When I had a slow drain the matinee came to fix it the next day. This is my first apartment and I’m very pleased. Thank you Windsor and Susannah for a great first experience.

Leasing staff was awesome. Susannah was very friendly an made the application process quick and painless. The community is near everything you would need, but since it is tucked away it’s still peaceful. Great place to live.

I love living at Windsor Upon Stonecrest because it’s so close to restaurants, shopping, delivery from grocery stores. They have a lot of activities for residents, pool, fitness center and trash pick-up. The staff are so nice

Moved in with no trouble and ive had lots of questions and the staff has answered all of the million questions ive had with no hesitation days back to back! Susannah was awesome when she showed me around. She was so friendly and great at explaining everything.

A wonderful experience since I moved in, a little screwdriver turns and one call for A/C which was fixed promptly by friendly maintenance team. I still say hello to Susanah, Jessica, and Kelly, the sweet ladies in the clubhouse, th.ey seem genuinely happy to see me. This gives me a homey feel..yall keep being wonderful, thank you

Windsor Upon Stonecrest is a great community to live in. It is very quiet and tucked away, but in a great location near lots of shopping and access to i-40 with fantastic amenities. They have a beautiful pool, a great gym, and a very nice pet park. The staff are very nice and very helpful. I have LOVED the 3 years I have been staying here!

Office staff is AMAZING. Property is well cared for, pool is beautiful and open year round, and we enjoy s’mores by the fire pit regularly. They have tons of dog waste stations and enough dumpsters that the grounds stay clean. There are plenty of places to walk and my doggos love the neighborhood. Our neighbors are friendly and quiet, and I have pleasant interactions daily with the people I run into on my walks. We are conveniently close to EVERYTHING which I love, but because we are on a private side road it is still generally quiet. I expected more noise from the location but once the sun goes down the area is calm and quiet. We occasionally hear an ambulance or highway crash, but we are unbothered because it’s so rare. There is a beautiful pond walking distance from the property. It is privately owned and we do not have access, but I enjoy the view on my walks. There are lots of neighborhood children but they are all polite and well behaved. My dogs get thrilled to see them in the afternoons!My only complaint is that the fence in the dog park is not secured, and the first time I took my dogs one of them was able to walk right under the fence and get loose. She immediately went swimming in the lake behind the leasing office, and is no longer allowed off leash in the park. I’ve also seen several of my neighbors dogs get loose. I really wish they would secure the fence so we could enjoy the park safely!

My husband and I have been here for over a year now and weve loved our stay so far! The pool is amazing during the summer and not super crowded! Very COVID friendly environment and clean clubhouse. The staff is very fast at responding to emails as well (thats probably my favorite part) and quick to offer help whenever needed. Im glad we signed on for another year here!

I love the area and the staff. The pool and the gym are very cool amenities and everyone around here is very nice. Weve been here for over a year and have no major concerns or complaints!

I enjoy my stay here. The community manager is great. The maintenance dept is great. If I have any maintenacrd issues they get it done fast. Its quiet neighborhood. I am please with the place and management.

Loved living here. If I was not relocating for work, I would have stayed here for a long time. I do not understand the issues with current management that other people have posted. Honestly, if you cant get along with the management here, you are most likely the problem. Everyone in my building loves them. Everyone at the complex is very friendly. They do a great job of keeping everything looking nice and are very responsive to your needs. They do a great job of catering to everyone. They are very fair. Amenities are great. Hands down best place I have ever lived. Definitely recommend living here regardless of age. Thanks Kari, Courtney, and Windsor for making Burlington a great home!

Son and wife live here. Nice starter. Cats like the big windows. When we visit our dogs love the little fenced area for dogs. Very clean. A mini dog park with benches and poop bag dispenser. Very well maintained

We moved first of September and love the space and location. Close to restaurants and shopping but yet hid from all the hustle and bustle. The office personnel were so helpful when we called and continue to be. They are always there to answer questions and help in any way.

Lived here for 5 years and loved it at first until management has been changed over and over again. they keep taking away amenities especially the hot tub which they still try and use as advertisement in their pictures online. dont be tricked its not there anymore!!! also when I moved out I was billed for carpet replacement for more than 5 year old carpet, this should be replaced no matter what because it is OLD... think twice before you move here.

Its a beautiful complex and great pricing! They are under new management and the new manager is wonderful. The ONLY concern that I have is no one ever really answers the phone. That is a huge concern for me because they are there to be of service to residents and future residents. However, Im going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they maybe low on staff.

Ive been here for two years and thought Id amend my review. In addition to the marble-top kitchen, and spacious 3 bedroom apartment we have; were paying 30% less rent than we paid for less space in Raleigh. The location here is excellent - restaurants, shopping, just up the street. Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh are minutes away. The complex is great for walking and very safe. The grounds have a beautiful layout with sculpted Landscaping and a pool open year-round with 24-hour access to exercise room. The management did change but theyve been very accommodating and the maintenance is handled very fast. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Youll always have detractors, but Ive rented from many places and this complex is the BEST in this area.

Great place for living

I reported to the office on Wednesday that my kitchen light was not working and I was told it would be done Thursday morning . I come home Thursday after a appointment & it was not fixed . Walked over there & talked to 2 people & reminded them again it needed to be fixed then because of Good Friday & weekend of Easter, how could I prepare a meal in the kitchen on Easter without a kitchen light, I’m very upset about this not taken care of when I was told it would be done .

Management will change water and valet trash companies with absolutely no notice and no communication whatsoever. I was totally blindsided by new bills that just showed up in my mailbox with no notice - management was no help when I asked if these would continue to be payed via autopayment systems I was already set up on with the old companies, saying I dont know, youll have to check on that yourself. Past reviews about communicating via slips of paper in the door is true - unprofessional. Will be moving as soon as my lease is up.

We recently moved here. We spent months looking for the place that would fit our family and our needs. The amenities are amazing, the staff is great and so far those we have met have been welcoming

Clean grounds, spacious apartments in a great location next to a lot of great amenities. Friendly neighbors and a speedy response to maintenance issues. Neighbors respect your privacy and are respectful of noise making. The pool is great and offers a childrens playground and barbeque pit. There is also a gym for those that want a quick workout without a membership to a big gym. The one con I really have an issue with is visitors parking. You WILL be towed at the cost of $250 if you are a visitor and are caught at night in non visitor parking. Other than that this is a great place to live.

Awful management with no communication skills. Managements preferred method of communication is to slip pieces of paper into your door and hope that you see them before they blow away. Last memorial day weekend they took the propane tanks out of the grill area with no notice; and for memorial day weekend this year they drained the pool with, again, no notice, and it remains closed in the heart of summer until further notice. Dont be fooled, the amenities are a sham: the fire pit hasnt been functional in YEARS and the tanning bed they advertise on their website does not exist. Period. My rent went up $50 this year with no notice which is why Im moving out to a different complex that I wish I had signed with years ago in the first place.

WORST PLACE EVER !!! They went ahead and leased me an apartment with a move in date and welcome letter but yet find out no apartment to move into. Spoke with Tiffany Rogers from part of their management company and she manages nothing. Nothing was done to resolve the issue or make good on their obligations. On top of that they still have all my money for application fees and such for an apartment they never had so I had to get a lawyer to get that back. The property may look nice but the management company and the staff could careless about doing the right thing when they screw up or make good on their word. DO NOT LIVE THERE !!! They will ROB YOU!!!!

Made an appointment to tour apartments with employee called Ashley. Ashley asked if I could be there at 1pm 02/15/13. Unfortunately when I turned up no one there. Waited further 30 minutes and still no one turned up. Dont bother calling this place wasted my time.

Terrible management and leasing personal. Awful. Had the money and everything to move in asap but never will go to a place ran like this just terrible.

Lived here for 4 years. Loved it. Great location (3 miles from Elon University, walking distance to Starbucks, Best Buy, a great little Japanese restaurant, a dozen other stores). Nice pool, plenty of parking, a garage if you want one ($100 extra a month). Whenever I needed any maintenance it was done quickly. Apartments were spacious (at least compared to my experience in Las Vegas). Ive heard complaints about noise but having lived in apartments all my adult life I would say it was less noisy here than any other apartment Ive lived in. I wouldnt be moving unless I had to (moving back to Las Vegas). I decided to write a review because I was looking at reviews for apartments in Las Vegas and wanted to see how they compared to Windsor and I was so surprised that they werent as high as I would have expected and remembered that the people who are typically motivated to write a review are people who happen to have had a negative experience. Those who are satisfied with a particular service just dont bother to review something. So I decided I should write a positive review for Windsor given my very positive experience with Windsor. Good luck apartment hunting!

BEWARE!! DO NOT RENT FROM WINDSOR UPON STONECREST!! This business is deceptive, dishonest and a total disgrace to any business who operates with integrity. We rented for 6 months. Told them first of month we wanted to rent and then counted out 6 months. Come to the end of the lease, they filled out lease to include a 7 month lease. We moved out and they rented the apartment and charged us for the last month payment. Staff is a clueless minimum wage worker and recent manger encourages such dishonesty. This place is expensive giving one the impression that you are dealing with professionalism. Wrong! If you must rent here take your Lawyer with you because when you check out you will need one.

Beautiful well kept property!

I am not one to write reviews, much less negative comments, however, this apartment complex is so awful that this needs saying if only to prevent others from the same experience. I have lived here for only a few months and have had no shortage of headaches. My move in date was set for months; when I signed my lease I found my apartment to be a disgusting mess. I returned to the office to ask what was going on. They told me that Ashley, who had worked with me and my roommate throughout the entire process, had messed up the move in date and thought I would be moving in a week later. I was shocked, as I had just sat in the office with her signing my lease and talking about how excited I was to move in that day. I then had to wait as the cleaning crew began to remove the grime. The office staff was less than helpful or remorseful. They seem to have no concern for residents after the lease is signed.As if that wasnt enough, recently I received conformation of textbooks being delivered. I took my package slip from my mailbox and inquired about my package. I was told they could not be found. I returned the next day and they still were no where to be found. I was also told it was the post offices fault for misplacing the package. I had amazon, FedEx and USPS tell me the package was delivered. I also had confirmation from the manager of the local post office. When I returned on Monday the manager of Windsor, Michael, told me the package was still not there and that he also believed the post office was to blame. He told me he believed the package would be delivered that day. I then called the post office again and they assured me the package was not being shipped but had already been delivered. I went to the office and spoke to the manager again. He showed me the list of packages delivered and said mine was not on there. He even gestured for me to have a look. I found my name almost instantly. He then asked Ashley, who had received the package, where it was. She located it in a cabinet and said that was where the heavy packages went. When I questioned him about why it took over three days, and three people to find the package and why he had blamed the post office he denied having said so and apologized. When I mentioned this was not their first mistake he asked about what had happened previously. I told him and he said that manager had been fired. Obviously they are doing a much better job now. He told me good luck with that. I have previously recommended this complex to friends and raved about how beautiful the area is, unfortunately, the staff do not seem to care about the residents or maintaining a good reputation with the community. Please do not waste your money or your time.
