Rented a vehicle which was complete garbage. Ive never rented a vehicle that I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning myself! RIDICULOUS.There were broken spots on the windshield, dirt literally everywhere inside, brakes making squealing noises, alignment was off, braking shakes the car.How can something like this be RENTED!? If i had known early I would not have rented. When I picked up nothing was available to change with. I had to go on a 1000 miles trip in this garbage. I need to speak with customer service. This is unacceptable. I will file a complaint on BBB.

Wow. I have been trying to get a hold of someone over the phone and it is impossible. I just want to check if my car will be ready for pick up. I want to make sure that there is a car for me and that it will be clean and ready to go. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone. Not even HQ! Seriously the worst customer service - which is non existent! May have to cancel my reservations and go with Enterprise or Budget. Will have to fight for them to waive the cancelation fees.

I wish car rental companies would realize that when we travel we have very limited time. We have a hard start (when we arrive) and a hard stop (when we leave)I prepaid for the rental and agreed to accept whatever they had available. Still I waited an hour AFTER my time at the counter to get my car.This is terrible customer service.

Why are rental car companies always a pain to deal with. The windshield wipers on the car are dangerously old. I tried calling and no one answers the phone. It rings and rings then goes to a verizon wireless voicemail. Seems pretty sketchy for such a huge chain.

Staff was very helpful and friendly and you cant beat the value! Weekends tend to be less expensive as they have more cars available.

This was my worst rental experience ever. The staff was nice, but they seemed poorly trained and didn’t seem to care. Care was filthy inside and out. I asked for a different car. Again this car was disgusting inside and out and had bald tires. As a result I took the first car. The odor of perfume/ air freshener in this car was unbearable. So bad to the point where it felt like my eyes were burning. Brought the car back and got one from enterprise.

This location happens to be very convenient if youre in the downtown area in Buffalo or took the bus into the main bus station. However there is one major caveat in that there was no drop box. If you need to return the car on weekends or when the facility is closed, the procedure which isnt made clear if youre renting via the website is to actually return the car to the airport Hertz facility. If you are planning on taking the bus from the bus station, this detour can put a serious dent in your plans. Otherwise, I have good things to say about the people.

Disappointed in the service at this location. We were supposed to have a pick up, a free service offered. We decided to do this since we were getting an early rental. No one showed up or called. We walked to the location, but when we arrived and told them we had been waiting there was no apology or concern about the missed service request. While waiting we attempted to contact someone and were redirected to the after hours 800 number.The gentleman working in the office was friendly and very helpful in getting us to our car and explaining the policies. The other individual working in the office was unaware of the rental/return and toll procedures. I contacted the office prior to renting and spoke with her and had the same experience. I was able to do my own research and get the information we needed.This rental facility is conveniently located for many downtown hotels. I wish our experience was better.

Horrible experience... after being shuffled around to different locations.. to find out dont even have a truck.. heres a tip dont make a reservation for a vehicle you dont have

The girl destiny is a scam artist they say u get ur. Deposit back and u don’t I have them over 2500 doller and at least 600 in deposit they owe me and I was not getting them back destiny is unprofessional rude and very disrespectful

Rented from here a few times. Worst hertz ever. Have had a few Cars smell like smoke given to me with no other options. One smelled like weed was just smoked in it. They are always also understaffed.

Rented a crappy, dirty Hyundai Elantra with 28,000 miles... Gave to us on empty. Never told us about toll road on 190 in granite City.... No toll booths... They said to expect a toll bill in a couple of weeks. That would have been nice to know before leaving Buffalo. Overall, not very pleased with the car and the staff.

Bad service. One of the women tried to rent us a very dirty car. Only after I pointed out the issue, they tried to solve it but it was another employee (a pregnant woman) who cleaned it up, while her partner, a younger woman, just watched her doing all the job. I saw this at the very end of the process, otherwise I wouldve said something about it. Didnt liked the place at all.

Great place because it always has cars available and is never crowded. Also, since very few people use this place, it is okay to drop the key in the night without the contract papers.
