It was easy to get my car and get going. Also really appreciated it was open late as our flight was delayed and we didnt get there until after 11pm

Used a Toyota Tacoma to move furniture from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Fort Erie. Incredible piece of equipment.

The vehicle I picked was not available so I received an upgrade. The upgrade was nice but I do not rent vehicles often so a customer service representative should have knowledge on the services provided. The person that I initially had to pay at the counter sent myself and a couple other customers to go get our vehicles from the designated spot to pick up our rentals but she gave very vague instructions. I knew she served the other customers because they were wandering the parking lot prior to myself and were complaining about the older lady at the counter. Another worker at the airport had to tell us that the area we were looking for was located on a different level than where we were told to go. To exit a flight, to wander the baggage claim area for longer than needed and then to have a customer service representative tell us to just go through those doors to find out theres different levels of the parking ramp was very aggravating when youre toting multiple bags wandering the parking ramp looking for where to pick up my rental.

Vehicle selection was good, pricing was decent, and pickup/return was simple and quick. The vehicle itself was great RE amenities BUT my husband complained that it smelled like a previous renter had smoked in the vehicle. Was disappointed at being charged for gas when I filled it only half a mile from the airport.

My rental was perfect. The line moved quickly. That was great considering it was a long flight. The attendant got everything ready.for us and the car was clean and new. Thank you for helping us enjoy our vacation!

Most of the experience was pretty good in terms of picking up the rental upon arrival. The one recommendation would be to ensure that the windshield is cleaned better. The windshield was dirty and made visibility difficult.

It took almost an hour to get through the line at the counter to get my car. 1-2 shared Budget and Avis reps taking 10+ minutes plus per customer. Trying to sell insurance took 5+ minutes per customer. Very frustrating as my flight only took an hour......

It was my first ever car rental, so I dont have a frame of reference. There were no issues, so thats what Ill tell people who ask. 8 is damn good!

I did not have to wait a long time to be processed and get my car. Employee was very professional. When I returned the car it was very quick.

The car was dirty...inside and out!!!! The windows were very messy and the inside looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks.

We rented a car that someone smoked in. My wife has asthma. When I went back to the desk, the attendant gave me an excellent substitute. She was most gracious.

Staff at counter were very helpful with my vehicle pick up. But when were came to return the car the staff was not very friendly.

Everytime I pick up a rental car from avis or budget its never fully clean. My seats were dirty( passenger front) had white stuff on it. It was stuff in between the seats & it smelled funny. Its covid-19 these vehicles should be cleaned much better

The customer service was great, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle I was told that they were out of the car I reserved. I was given an upgrade for the same price.

I wanted to return the car one day earlier and much closer to Buffalo where I got it (Cleveland instead of Detroit). I had been informed by your agent in Buffalo that I would be getting money back. Instead I was asked to pay 300. I preferred to drive the car to Detroit, and split my company in two than succumb to your highway robbery. I will never use your company again.

A couple of problems with the car, but I was able to get it taken care of by staff. I did, however, have to drive back to airport for service because I couldnt get anyone on the phone. That really disturbed me.

I returned the car 7 days ago and have yet to get my deposit released. Customer service is no help and its getting frustrating. This is my favorite car rental company but this is just bad service

There was a paper in the car saying it was cleaned. It wasnt. It was dirty on the visor and ceiling. The wind shield was dirty from the previous persons mount. The seats had crumbs in it. It was not cleaned like it said it was. The car was great. The person that checked me in was not friendly. The girl that took the car when I checked in to return it was very friendly.

Budget was ok but I feel that cars should come with GPS and not have to rent on from you

I was traveling with my mother who is visually impaired. The wheelchair porter left us at the counter and i had no way to transport my mother, the luggage, etc. to the car. The manager, Justin, came out and helped us to the car. That was going above and beyond my expectations. I travel for work and have always used Budget. Justin just assured the fact that Budget wil continue to be my go to car rental company!

I love Budget, disappointed with the charges I ended up paying more than my reservation for returning it less than 24 hours due to lost passport. Besides that I will continue to rent from Budget.

Gave us a VW Tiguan and it was a pos! It tried to cut off at red lights while at a red light. Called about a replacement they said I we would have to drive back to the airport to replace it. The dash continuously lit up maintenance required but they didnt seem worried.

We were so pleased with how friendly the people were at the Budget Rental car at the Buffalo Airport.

The vehicle was ready and we really enjoy having the peace of mind of having a reliable source of transportation.

Although the car had the circle sticker indicating that it was clean we quickly found out that it was not. Shortly down the road as the sun set we found the inside of the windshield and windows were very dirty which made it extremely difficult to see with headlights shining on us from other cars. We had some napkins and were able to stop and clean them enough to see a bit better. A couple of days later when it started to rain we found out that the windshield wipers were nearly useless and had to stop to see if we could do something about them, aside from replacing them we couldnt do anything to improve them. We waited for the rain to slow enough that we could see. The electrical system had some kind of issue so every time the car was turned off and then back on the entire system reset. The radio stations were reset, clock was reset and the system was turned off, when you turned the radio back on the volume was at about 75% and would blast you out of the car. When driving there was a piece of loose trim or something that we couldnt determine that started flapping at speeds above 45 mph. We have rented cars on trips for decades and this by a large margin was the absolute worst experience

The young gentleman who was there when I returned my car was very nice and professional. He answered my question about the prepaid fuel charge and confirmed how it would be charged.

The agent lied to me, saying that I have no choice but to use Budgets ezpass if I use toll roads. So, I signed. Next, the ezpass device was not activated. I have never used one, so it was several days into my travels that I realized that it was not activated. Now I am likely to get dinged badly by Budget for not using it. By the way, NY State has a website where I can sign up to pay tolls without ezpass. I did just that once I realized that the device was not activated, but they mention something about not capturing charges for rental cars beyond 48 hr. of toll. I understand the fees are substantial.

I arrived at the airport to pick up the vehicle assigned to me it was covered in mud had to be washed before I could leave waited 30 mins. the wind shield washer fluid was empty and was beeping the maintenance notification popped on and off. I was never offered another vehicle.

Did not have the car I reserved. The suggested car was newer but was dirty. Your employees were very friendly. The car was also very expensive to rent making us rethink even renting a car from now on, UBER would have been cheaper for the week.

Process of both picking up and returning vehicle was extremely quick and easy. Vehicle type was what I had reserved and I was also given a choice of vehicles within that class when I arrived at my pickup.

I rated this an eight because it was a good rental good on gas, and lots of room on the inside. The only issue I had was the price for renting. I felt it was a little overpriced and I think I will shop around next time.

Picked up a convertible once I started my trip I noticed the windshield and side mirrors had terrible water stains. The wipers didnt work and it was pouring rain. I picked up my rental 1.5hr late their should be no reason why this car should be in this condition. After all Im paying to receive a car that is safe and clean. Called the location and didnt receive no apology. The only two options they offered was to call costumer service from 7am-7pm to put a formal complain which wouldnt help me because they are close and the other option was to pick up a similar model at a different location which no other location had a convertible available. I have a 11hr trip and regret not going with enterprise. This can cause me an accident

Car was okay, did the job. It is more like a compact car than and intermediate. I am a tall person and barely had room to drive, the seat did not go back very far.

Asked for a mid size car, received a Corolla which was bad enough but it didnt even have a remote. Very inconvenient. The car was filthy inside and out. Wish I would have returned the car and received a refund so I could rent with another company.

Wish I could give them ZERO STARS! Would NEVER recommend!! And the reservations agents are equally as incompetent! Truly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

The vehicle was not clean upon arrival. There was candy smeared on the windshield, fries under the back seat and the tires were almost bald. In addition, the vehicle had been smoked in previously. The smell was very prevalent the entire week we had it. Also, the sticker for the oil change was 7,000 miles overdue.

Although the rental was easy and they were accommodating their vehicles smell like ash trays. The first compact car they gave me smelled so bad that I had to go back to the counter to ask for a new one. The new one still smelled like an ashtray but was tolerable. The company needs to forbid smoking in their vehicles or have a better cleaning process. When I dropped my phone in the vehicle to retrieve it I also found some old dried up food scrap on the floor under my seat. The price is not bad (could be much better), the staff is nice, but their vehicle cleanliness needs improvement. I also would have preferred a more contactless experience.

Easy and convenient, but extremely high priced with all the additional gas charges, taxes, and additional fees.

Prompt and friendly customer service. Requested for standard suv with GPS. But was given the option of going for a big sized SUV with GPS for 16$/day extra. Not too bad of a deal. But I hoped to get a standard SUV with GPS for the price given online. Because of its size I had to limit my driving in 🍁 Canada (not a fan if huge vehicles)

I hated the Mazda 3 we rented. Almost impossible to get in and out of. Car has little visibility when driving.

We showed up to rent a car at the time we reserved it. It wasnt ready, they were still cleaning it.They told us 10 min, it was way longer...Was charged 14 a day for car seats which seems like price gouging. I used to really like budget but have become increasingly dissatisfied with them recently.

We got pulled over because the registration on the vehicle was expired since December of 2020. My 2 daughters were sleeping when we got pulled over and were very nervous because the officer was about to tow the vehicle and leave us stranded about 150 miles from home. If I wouldnt of mentioned that I was a veteran and talked our way out of it, we would of been stranded.When I dropped the vehicle back to the airport and spoke to the manager she never apologized for it.Wont rent from budget or avis anytime in the future

Only downside... we had no windshield washer fluid & needed it along our trip :( Other than that, the staff & car were great.

We were charged for gas when we returned the car FULL. The gas gauge reading indicated that the tank was actually FULLER than when we took possession of the car. This is a cheating, sleazy, scam. We will tell everyone NOT to use your company.

Im excited to say that l will always come to budget for car rental. Costumer service is with a lot of patience and for me satisfaction was one of their best. I would ask questions and they have the answer. While i was in line I noticed that customers are so rude, wanting to rush the service, but little that people know is that budget employees have to explain everything step by step. I love the clean car, new and smooth ride. Drove from Buffalo NY to Connecticut, a 7 hour drive and 7 hours back and it was the best feeling ever with no worries knowing that the vehicle was checked before given to me also very clean car. So to the people stop saying things that arent true and be real, i personally went to budget to see and the employees are very responsive, respectful, have patience, like to explain any questions people have, no rudeness coming from them, and the best thing is that they talk what they know customers should know before taking the vehicle... thanks budget company...

Budget is always my favorite.. went to this location for the first time. Impressed as there were no big lines, two staff were there working real quick, friendly, when we go to lower level to pickup the car. The car was ready, clean washed, tank full fuel. All good.

They lack proper communication and customer service skills. The entire staff needs to go through thurough training of how to speak to customers no matter the situation and to inform customers of any and all additional changes/charges that will occur so that the customer isn’t blind sided especially after just a couple of hours of speaking to them. Facial expression, body language, communication and your demeanor are KEY and valuable when it comes to customer service and representing the company you work for. Treat people as you would like to be treated!

I had a horrible experience with this establishment they made me pay way over the price I was told I was going to pay. Please save time and money and avoid them please.
