Towing service used thru my Insurance Roadside Coverage mobile app. I was informed that wait times might be longer due to heavy call volume so I was prepared however it didn’t take as long as expected. Upon arrival the tow driver Anthony was great! Very knowledgeable told me what the noise was I was hearing and took great care loading my truck on the flat bed, towed to my trusted mechanic who confirmed what Anthony said! Thanks again Anthony for providing great service!

Recently worked with Frank Browns Auto Service & Towing through a third party, Peddle. The process was simple, though I did manage to make things extremely complicated. I read my odometer wrong, and got a new quote for double the original... While my driver was already there to pick up my car. 🤦‍♂️ (Apparently this happens a lot. Lol, I still feel really bad.) We rescheduled, and James was even able to come earlier which was great. I had a job interview, and he was able to get the car before I had to leave. I got the job lol, thanks guys!

In already a stressful situation getting your means of transportation towed, I just appreciate the dispatcher Chris and the tower Wayne for helping me out on todays experience. He really was genuine and attentive. He went the extra mile and I hope this review helps him and the company. Even though the world is short staffed that he remained kind and showed up!!!!

I have been in the auto aftermarket for over 40 years, and recently retired.So when my service light came on my 2015 Land Rover and seeing my tachometer over rev I knew something was going on with my transmission. Fortunately was able to limp it in to a place with a name that’s been around longer then I have so I thought I would give them a shot, and boy am I glad. Upon my arrival, a tech named Perry greeted me at the door. Immediately I felt I was in good hands. They ran my Land Rover through a series of test, including a computer scan that gave an overdrive error code. I just knew I was in for major repair. However my intuition was right on the money. Perry once again put me at ease and much to my surprise had me on the road the next morning with a bill of under $275. With 122,000 miles looked like the original fluid and filter they told me, also a corroded wire to one of the shift solenoids. I was ready for a $3500. Transmission replacement. No greasy fingerprints and a perfect running car again. Thanks to Dave the owner and Perry for giving me peace of mind at a great $$$. 🥂

My insurance company selected this towing company to tow my vehicle and the company sent the kindest man named Bill. He was earlier than what time I was given, which was fantastic. He checked on my car to see why it wasnt started an knew right away what the problem was. Again, he was so nice and informative to someone who doesnt know much about vehicles. He took care of it and got my vehicle to the dealership safely.

I needed a tow. I contacted my roadside assistance and they assigned Frank Brown Towing to pick my car up. I had the destination listed as the dealership. The driver, Billy, called to see what was going on. He asked if my car was still under warranty. I explained that it was not, but that I was sending my car to the dealership with the hope of being able to sell once the repair was done. He said this made sense, and otherwise he would have recommended a transmission place to save on the sticker-shock of a dealership.I appreciated him looking out for me. He was so nice and sweet on the phone. My boyfriend met him at the car to hand over keys. My boyfriend even commented on how nice Billy was and how quick the tow was. I had never interacted with Frank Brown towing before today, but if I ever need a tow again, I will definitely be contacting them!

Needed assistance. Got Anthony. Dude was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful with towing my Trailblazer.Will definitely call upon them again, just because of him.

Unprofessional i guess the guy who came to pick up my truck felt as if saying whats wrong with the whip your just sitting at the crib waiting was cool. Just be yourself i dont talk like that and i would appreciate if i wasnt talked to like that be yourself dont be where you are. Secondly he drove my truck up the flatbed your not suppose to do that. For the final act of being unprofessional tried to drive of without latching the truck to the flatbed i just told them to put it back down and called my insurance company back. I would never use these guys and i filed an complaint with my insurance company against these guys.

Very rude customer service! I called to get an eta on my arrival and the woman on the phone gave me a lot of attitude about the timing of the call. Sorry I didn’t plan my break down around your schedule! Tow was very late. If my insurance hadn’t called this company I would have just cancelled. Total waste of money.

The tow was supposed to be there at 1pm, I waited until 2:30 called them twice, they kept telling me the tow was 20-30 minutes away but the driver never arrived, terrible service, would not recommend, ended up getting someone else to tow me.

Dave and his crew are the most honest mechanics I have ever dealt with. They are not there just to make a buck. They have worked on several on my vehicles through the years. Through that they have always been honest, from yes we can fix this to we really dont think It would be worth you to fix. And they always see it through until you are satisfied. Bottom line fast, friendly, reliable service.

When the engine light came on in 08 Honda Browns got me in the next morning. I needed a new sensor which they replaced. Everything was done in two hours! Once again excellent service with great prices.

Rick might be the nicest guy ever. Broke down on a restricted stretch of highway so he couldn’t tow me himself. But made sure I got to the right people and even called multiple times to check in and make sure we got safely off the road. Even after the fact he connected me with another shop when my car needed further work. He really went above and beyond. Thank you!!!

I started going to Browns about 5 years ago as a college student. Unlike many mechanics that I have been to, the guys at Browns never treated me like a dumb female. Theyre very down to earth & always take the time to educate me on whatever issue my car may be having. They never try to do work that isnt needed, and they always give me their honest opinion. These guys are the best!

Honestly seriously poor service!! Called a little after 11 this morning got told a truck would be out shortly, going on one still no truck, called and said they were en route but very busy, which ok I totally understand but at least give a common decency call and let the person know that they are backed up so the guy finally got here little after 3, looked at the car for a whole five minutes and said it was just the antifreeze. The engine light kept being on and he kept telling me that it would go off. Reason I called was bc the entire car was smoking and wouldn’t start, the kid came out, took a look for a whole five minutes kept insisting it was only the anti freeze, got half way to work and my car completely shut down again and began smoking. So I called the tow company back and they told me there was nothing more they could do. Had the kid just listened to me to begin with and actually just had the car towed I wouldn’t have to be paying again for another tow company. Whoever I spoke with on the phone from your company was extremely rude as well and ended up hanging up on me. Will definitely be making a formal complaint to your corporate or head office that’s for sure, extremely unprofessional!

Just had my Ford 500 towed from my house 12-18-18 at 316 pm..... and the guy was very nice and professional!! Talkative and very friendly....forgot to get his name only because he was so nice and friendly it didnt occur to me to get his name....shook my hand and talk about cars....thanks.......so who ever it was that came thanks!!!

I would definitely recommend getting a tow from here, and I was very pleased with the service. I went through my car insurance to get a tow, and I was able to get a tow in a timely manner. The tow driver was very friendly and helpful.

They helped with a flat tire on my way to work. Was so impressed with how fast and well done they responded and helped. Manager called after his shift to make sure all was well. Cant say enough about the kindness i was shown.

High turnover of mechanics. One day you get someone qualified the other you get someone practicing on your car. Just be prepared to get no help from ownership....to them the customer is always wrong

Dave and the staff at Browns did a great job diagnosing why the heat was not working properly in my 2009 Chevy Impala and fixed the problem at a great price and in a very reasonable amount of time. Great service! I left my 05 Odyssey at Browns on my way to work. Within an hour or so, I got a call explaining what theyd found in response to the concerns I had, explained the options to address those concerns, answered my questions, and made recommendations... and what they recommended was not what Id feared. (There are shops who might suggest major, expensive repairs because IS an 05, you know...) Everything was completed and the van was ready by the time I said Id need to pick it up. Heres the ultimate endorsement: I send my daughters to Browns with their vehicles because I know theyll be treated fairly and honestly.

Really shady! called Allstate insurance for roadside assistance, Allstate referred Frank Brown Towing then I recieved text conformation of time window waited until after time and called frank brown towing to see if it would be much longer and was told there was no tow request. Started all over with Allstate to find out frank brown told Allstate no one was there with vehicle. Frank Brown was paid and did not show. Allstate sent out another company.

Called for a towed for my BMW at 8am, told them i have to be at work at 11am. they never showed up called them at 10:30 they said another half hour. Like if they didn’t have enough staff working there, they should of said so, i could of called another tow truck. Now i ended up missing a quarter million dollar meeting at work, that i was supposed to lead. Smh i can kiss that promotion goodbye, all they had to do was be honest and say they couldn’t make it a head of time smfh

I never meant to put a 1 star rating. I was scrolling through everyones and my phone thumb must have accidentally hit the screen and my phone registered that as a review, and I never knew about it until I was informed about it. So just to clarify the service is great. They will pick you up and drop you off. They are fast and there when they say they will be. Even though it took a day longer than expected due to a minor set back it was still done when they said it would be. I would recommend anyone take their vehicle there and especially use their tow service.Again I had no idea my thumb had hit anything let alone registered a 1 star review.

Extremely dissatisfied with this company. My car broke down and I needed to get my car into the shop ASAP. They were dispatched about 12:09 PM and they never showed. I called there twice and received very dishonest answers from the girl answering the phone who on two occasions told me they were on their way. I ended up having to call my insurance to have another tow company dispatched for the next day. Now Im more inconvenienced as my car cant get worked on for another day. If they couldnt take the job, they should have notified me or the insurance company. Bad customer service and a lack of consideration for someone who waited nearly 5 hours for a tow that never showed:(

Obviously no one likes when their car is towed, but for a college student who had never dealt with it before, it was scary. My car was totaled, by an oncoming truck, on UBs north campus and the towing company that UB calls is Frank Brown. Insurance was covering the cost of towing since the accident was not my fault, but the people at Frank Brown Towing refused to allow me to even remove MY stuff from the inside of my car. After two days, and multiple calls between GEICO and the towing agency, I was finally able to actually take my stuff from the car. Then a day later, they call me and say that I was supposed to remove my license plates off the car (I was barely allowed to get my stuff out and I had no tools so Im not sure how they expected me to do this). They said they would take them off and have them inside for me to pick up. I arrived there that night and they were still on my car, and the people inside didnt seem to know anything about it. No one likes their car being towed, ESPECIALLY when it isnt your fault, but it would be nice to have understanding people working behind the counters.

FRANK BROWN TOWING COMPANY IS RUDE AND RACIST AND DISRESPECTFUL TO WOMEN. been dealing with this situation since yesterday, they took 4 hours to arrive, when they finally arrived the driver didn’t get out the car for 25 minutes, he was sitting in his car eating and then I had to approach him. even after I went up to the car, and asked can he begin service, it’s took him some time to start, mind you it is freezing cold in Buffalo right now and my car was broken down on the side of the road, by myself in the dark! today they towed my car to the wrong location- The driver literally just dropped the car off on the side of the road and left, didn’t speak to anyone, he just left it at the WRONG ADDRESS. at first they refused to pick up the car and take it to the correct address, and then when they agreed to, they said they would charge me again. when I got upset they kept hanging up on me and then refused to take my calls.when I went to go check on the car, which they left at a random address on the east side of Buffalo, The keys were not in the car. Each time I try to call and ask where the keys are,they hang up on me, talk over me, or tell me that it’s not their responsibility, and that im being “too aggressive”. they refusing to tell me where my keys are!!!! FRANK BROWN TOWING HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AND I AM DISGUSTED AT HOW I AM BEING TREATED.

Customer service is terrible! Dispatcher hung up twice on me when I called to check status of tow truck. Called progressive roadside service at 10:25am for service appointment at a dealership for 12:45pm! Driver arrived at 12:38pm.
