After reading the reviews, I wanted to love this place. The interior is clean and classy and the people are incredibly friendly. That, unfortunately, is where my positives end. I took three daughters, in their 20s, for hair coloring. We started with 15 minute consultations to get an idea about whether what they wanted to do was practical or possible. I should have suspected an issue when their consultations took less than five minutes. The youngest wanted to go blonde, from medium brown. No problem, the stylist assured. Five hours and $200 later she looked exactly like when i took her in. If you look closely, there are a few lighter streaks. They actually bleached her hair, (leaving some untouched because it would look more natural... not what was asked for), and then dyed it to the same color it originally was, except the tips which are a bit lighter. I repeatedly asked what i was paying for, but got almost rude comments that it was what she asked for... it wasnt. A week later, the next youngest got hers dyed, pink... go figure. It was probably the best job, but there were areas left without dye that are barbie doll blonde and 48 hours later, without being washed or touched other than brushing, it faded in some areas and not in others. Still, my daughter is pretty happy with it, and we think we can touch it up in the spots that have no dye. The third daughter wanted to go burgundy red. It looked great when she got home, except on one side there were large spots that werent dyed. She waited 4 days to wash it, and when she did, the water ran red... it washed right off. Now it is an orangey red in spots, and Ronald McDonald orange in spots, and the bleached orangey blonde in the spots that werent dyed. More than $200 and we are going to have to get a box dye to try to make it look decent. In all, a waste of our money. We will try a different salon next time. These pics were taken 3 to 4 days after the color was put in, just for reference. The brown was supposed to be golden blonde, the patchy pink is 3 days after the pink was put in and the... orange calico was to have been burgundy.

Needed a change. I went to a jr stylist. She did an amazing job on my brown to red and purple ombre. They took care of me, prices were reasonable. Would highy reccommend to my friends!

Absolutely recommend! The Stylist, Jaimie, was amazing!We were there for 8 hours because my daughters hair was so matted. She has thick, kinky hair. It was just about to the middle of her back. Multiple stylists helped detangle. I even got in on it.Now, it is a short bob and so shiny! Consult for a relaxer next.Burned a hole in my checking account but it was worth it.My daughter is with every penny and more 😊Thank you to the entire staff!

Be aware that if you purchase a gift card online, it will only cover hair services and retail. I do not know if that was clearly stated on their website, but Im pretty sure my mom wouldnt have gotten a gift card for me if she had realized I couldnt use it towards massage or nail treatments. Just something to be aware of.

Wow! I found ESBI to be one of the nicest salons I have been to. Their team is very friendly, and the quality of my cut and color was wonderful. They obviously know what they are doing and I would recommend them to anyone.

Ive been going to Esbi for over 17 years. I get nothing but compliments with my hair colors, and cuts. I wouldnt go anywhere else. The best salon in Brunswick.

This is a wonderful Salon that gives you exactly what you want done with your hair. The Stylist are so caring and very very talented.

It was the best hair color and cutting experiences Ive ever had. All of the people working there train with the boss for 2 years before actually getting to do things by themselves. Unlike Best Cuts and Great Clips where they just start immediately by themselves. You get free drinks upon arrival and they give you a robe to wear over your clothes so youre comfy. The boss really knows what hes doing and I would recommend this place for sure. One downside is because its so good, it can get pricey, so save up some money or ask for a gift card for a birthday/christmas present!

I am a 71 year old old guy with some hair loss. Have always gone to barber shops but lately have become aware that my haircuts also look like a 71 year old guy. Gave Esbi Intl a try while it costs three times as much I now get comments from 71 year old women.They dont try to make me look young they just make me look a little stylish and well groomed.

Sadly, I wont be bringing my son to get cut by Josh anymore. Our last visit didnt sit well with me. My son has seen Josh for 3 years or more. My son has autism and ended up trusting Josh, even looked forward to seeing him when he knew it was time for a cut. My experiences have been great, but things just werent the same the last couple visits. This is the 3rd place Ive followed Josh to, even being 30 min away. I couldnt book on Styleseat, so I called the salon to say so and if they could have Josh book the time I wanted since my son needed a cut asap. The receptionist asked my sons name, came back and said that was slot was booked but he had a 4:30. I said to tell him to book that one. When we showed up like at 4:28-4:29. Josh looked confused as to why we were there and said he had to leave to pick up his son from camp at 4:30 and had a cut at 4:45. It was already about to be 4:30, so I felt skeptical of his story. He said he didnt know it was for my son even though they asked for his name and I didnt see how he would leave and be back for his next appt at 4:45. I was really upset bc his next availability wasnt until almost a week later. He then said he usually doesnt do this but he could see him like at 8:15 or 8:30 the next morning. I guess he doesnt do cuts that early. I promised to be there even though it was really early. I get a message that evening saying he couldnt do the next morning either bc he had it booked. He was looking at his schedule right in front of me, he would have known if it was booked or not then. I just dont like how that was done and I had to find somewhere else for a cut which its very hard to find someone that cuts kids with autism. It broke my heart for my son bc I thought Josh was going to be his barber for years to come. I felt played. My son got upset in the car not knowing why he had to leave. He trusted Josh, liked him, would sit still and be calm.. A way I never thought he would get with a barber. Shame on Josh for not thinking about this and not caring enough anymore about his little client.

I went to color my hair and in the beginning they were nice I ask the hair staylest how much income u do monthly she declined to anwser I finished and I tip 20$ and I said to her co-worker she did an excellent job then i get to my car and I saw the cops then they accused of harassment and this was unjustified and am thinking about calling my lawyer because I believe this was due to racism .I will never go their again
