Just purchased a new Jetta from Brunswick Mazda. It couldnt have been more easy or pleasant. My salesperson, Bob Boylan, was knowledgeable and helpful. I actually completed all negotiations via email, applied for financing online and picked up the vehicle one day later. I spent about 30 minutes total signing paperwork and going over the features of the car. I cant say enough good things about this transaction!

My sales experience was good, so when paint started flaking off a door handle a few months later I took it here for the warranty claim.Service took pictures of the defect 2 months ago but never submitted it to VW. I called multiple times to check the status and was not called back. When I finally got a response, the advisor passed off not submitting the claim as no big deal. Their service department is not to be trusted.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at the Brunswick Volkswagen. After bringing in my car to be looked at, they figured out the issue rather quickly, but then left me in the waiting room for an hour after saying it would only be a few more minutes. Eventually I went to the desk to ask if I could take my car and my keys were just sitting on the counter and the person helping me had left. Then, they had said theyd call me within 2 or 3 days once the part they ordered for the repair came in, and after a week of not hearing anything I called and was told to leave a message. After another week with no returned call, I called again and got no answer. We finally got ahold of someone who said the part had been in and we could bring in the car whenever and that the repair would take 2 hours. When I called to make an appointment they told me it would take 5 hours. So we dropped off my car in the morning and the person that took my keys said theyd call when it was finished (in about 5 hours). 7 hours later we hadnt heard anything, so we called, waited for 20 minutes, got no answer, left a message, still didnt get a call back, and finally got ahold of someone another hour later. They said oh yeah the cars done you can come get it whenever like we hadnt been waiting all day to pick it up. To top this horrible experience off, everyone was very rude when we picked up the car - so we will not be returning for more service.

I cant say enough about my experience here. The salesman was top notch (Wayne). Absolutely no pressure to buy and very patient with me on choosing the right vehicle. The showroom is very bright and clean. The selection of new Volkswagens plentiful. Very fair on my trade in value. The financing experience was quick and simple. There was no pressure to buy any extra warranties. I do wish it was easier to call in and talk to the service department instead of the automated phone system. Cant wait to buy my next car here!

I had a great experience. I made an online inquiry Sunday afternoon, and Kevin got back to me early Monday morning. They had the vehicle (ID4, 1st Edition) listed online in stock, unlike many other VW dealers who listed it, but when contacted said it wasnt available. I asked them online for their best price, and they provided a solid offer, other VW dealerships who just offered MSRP. I scheduled an appointment for 3:00 pm that day and drove out at 4:30, and that included 45 minutes going over the technology in the vehicle with Kevin and Bob. They did a great job!

2 stars because our we enjoy our brand new car. Had to come back and pick up the plates. We bought license plate screws from Walmart because we didnt get any when we picked up the car. They dont fit. I called the dealer to see if they could send us some. The lady on the phone laughed and said its not their responsibility..ummm your the dealer and I cant get parts needed for my car!!!! The lady was a real piece of work!

Simply AMAZING! I was looking to go all electric since I am doing a lot of local driving for work. I ordered a new VW ID.4 online and was waiting for my place in line to order one figuring there would be none available. I stopped in yesterday and the salesman mentioned that they had a 1st Edition in stock. After price shopping, I knew that these were highly desirable and was expecting to have to fight on the price, interest rate, and trade. To my surprise, I didnt. They sold the vehicle to me at a fair price and a great rate. I was blown away by how much my trade was worth!The service from Bob Boylan, John Sugar, and Ryan in finance was simply OUTSTANDING. I could not be more pleased. My credit has gone through some bumps because of COVID so I was expecting a hard fight on the interest rate. Ryan called VW and argued on my behalf for a better rate, and I wound up with the best rate VW offers on their ID 4 leases.If you are looking for a new VW and you want a pleasant easy experience. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Great experience with this dealership 2 years ago so when I was looking to upgrade to the Atlas I did not hesitate to come back. I was happy that my original sales rep, Kevin was still at the dealership. Kevin listened to what was important to me and didnt try to sell me on features that I did not want. He spent the time needed to work on a deal that fit my target budget and didnt make me feel pressured or rushed. Highly recommend this dealership and Kevin if you are in the market for a VW.

My wife and I purchased a 2021 Atlas and discussed having a hitch package put on the SUV. They said they didn’t have one available and it would take a few months. After a few months the dealership contacted us and said the hitch was in we dropped it off at the dealership for them to install. They called us and said the car was done. We went to go puck it up and they put an aftermarket hitch on and there was not even wiring for a trailer to connect to. We tried to talk to the manager and he stated “I know what you want but we are not going to give it to you because it will cost too much” we denied the car and drove away. We contacted their corporate office and they would not even help us out, even after providing documentationof what we were told we would get. So we were stuck with the unprofessional product with no wiring. We decided to contact t the BBB and after filing a complaint the manager, John, states that he has to get approval from the higher ups but he is seeing what he could do to order the correct bumper and hitch. He then contacted me a few days later stating that he had the approval from his “uppers” to go ahead and order the correct bumper and hitch and they will install it.It was going on a month so o contacted the dealership to check on the status of the car. I was out in to voicemail. I then sent the salesman a text message with no response. I sent another one later that same day with no response.We did receive a call that the car was done, when we went to pick it up they asked for half payment. We refused because this was never discussed or agreed upon. Why would we agree to pay for something that was supposed to be included with the initial purchase?On top of that, we had to pay our monthly payment on the vehicle which we have not even had or driven since October 7, 2020. So not only were they asking us to pay for a something that should have been included we also had to pay on a vehicle that hasn’t even been in our possession for a month.After all was said and done, the Manager John called us “liars and ridiculous” and he also said to us “I don’t ever want to see you folks back in this dealership again, I don’t want your business anymore. Take your vehicle, get your keys, get out of here. Don’t ever come back in this store again. I don’t ever want to see you folks again. I can’t deal with people like you.”It’s sad that we were treated like this and called liars when he was the one lying the entire time. And then to top it off when we got in to our car there was extra miles driven on it. Very unhappy with how they treat their customers.

After having a horrible experience at a different dealership the day before, my husband and I decided to give Brunswick VW a try. I didn’t even want to go inside, so I had my husband go in while I looked at cars on the lot. After a few minutes, I went in and my husband was talking to Tony Grassia, who seemed very friendly. He pulled the car we had looked at around for us, and as we were talking, he made a recommendation for a different car to try based on what I told him here some “extras I didn’t think I could afford”. I test drove it, and when I got back to the lot, Tony had the numbers ready and they were exactly what I told him I needed. He and his manager even stayed after their closing time to help us get things going. I was impressed.I was afraid it was all “too good to be true”, but Tony called me the next day to let me know everything was good and I could stop by at 6pm the following day to sign and pick up (most due to my work schedule) I was still nervous going back 2 days later to sign all the paperwork. It was all exactly as quoted, and Tony spend a lot of time acclimating me to my new car. It was so easy, by far the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a car.

The service manager Jeff and his colleagues gave me the best customer experience with my 2012 Volkswagen Golf TDI. If anything is wrong with your Volkswagen or really any car at all I would recommend taking it to Brunswick Volkswagen.

In the last 2 months, both times that i’ve visited Brunswick VW, I have walked in the delarship to meet with any available salesperson and nobody greets you when you come in. I look around and almost everyone is too busy on their cell phones, relaxing in their office chairs. Yesterday, one of the men sitting at a cubicle while a customer was in the showroom was so busy on his phone that he couldn’t have any decency to put a face mask on as required to do in public. Aside the point, the only way i was able to get anyone’s attention is to actually walk up to one of the offices or cubicles where I can see a person sitting. Once I was being helped, I sat down and looked over to see a man sitting in an office on his cell phone, leaned back in his chair. Outside his glass office, the window said “Supervisor in Training”. Unfortunately this delarship did not want to negotiate any deal as a previous delarship had done. I choose to go to Brunswick because they had in the showroom the vehicle I wanted, but the competitor who gave me an amazing deal was a different color. Nonetheless, I was told that Brunswick wasn’t going to match because they would be losing money, yet they’re paying their employees to sit around on their cell phones. That type of atmosphere in any business looks so tacky and unprofessional. I would not recommend Brunswick’s sale department. I do not know how their service department is.

Came to the dealership excited about the collaboration with DonorsChoose. No one knew anything about the Drive Bigger Event or the DonorsChoose collaboration. Came back 2 weeks later after speaking with a manager on the phone. They have the cards, they are just not promoting the event. The manager refused to give my friend a card because we came together and “there are strict rules” about giving more than one to the same “family.” These cards are to support teachers and students, the are not redeemable for anything else. This dealership, and the sales manager, leave a bad impression and show little commitment with the education field.

Took my touareg tdi in for a regular service, everything went good and i asked to file a case against corrosion ( small spot by license plate bulbs) and was told i will hear back in 4-6 weeks. I take both mine and my wifes touareg tdi in service here. So 6 weeks pass and no call back, i wait another 2 weeks... nothing. I call again at 8 weeks and was told ill be receiving a call back shortly after they get some information. I call again at 10 weeks and was told the same thing again.... so sitting again waiting for a call back another 4 days. Maybe a good time to find some place else to service and maintain my volkswagens, I always stick to VW/Audi product and might have to consider changing that too :( very sad

Unfortunately, the great sales experience we had (Glenn and Wayne are awesome and it was the best experience Ive had getting a new car) was ruined by a terrible and inexcusable experience with service.A few days after getting home with our new 2018 VW Golf SE, we discovered that the screen has a defect (picture attached). There is a vertical line that goes straight through the display about 1/3 of the way over from the right. Its only noticeable on a white background, and since we were using the GPS when we left that night and the background is black when using GPS at night, we didnt notice it right away.I contacted the dealership and brought it in on 1/5. The guy in service tried to tell me that its not a defect. He claimed that he checked the other cars in the lot and they also had this (I would love to see those other cars), so it must just be designed that way. He said some other people had brought theirs in with the same issue as well, and he confirmed with VW that theyre not replacing them, so therefore its not a defect. He failed to see the circular reasoning here (were not replacing it because its not a defect and we know its not a defect because were not replacing it).I was irritated but stayed non-confrontational because at the end of the day I just wanted the display fixed. I told him that I had looked online and found others with the same display reporting the same issue, and that other dealerships are replacing them under warranty. He said that he would have to contact their regional rep and would follow up with me on Monday, 1/7.Of course I never heard from him again, and contacted the salesman Id worked with before (Glenn) to ask him to follow up. This was on 1/9. He said that he talked to service and that they were ordering a new screen for me and would contact me when it came in.Again, they still never contacted me after that. I followed up with Glenn again, a month later, on 2/5. He let me know that there is apparently an international backorder on the displays. How convenient. My sales experience with Glenn was great so I dont want to suggest that he is lying; he may just be relaying whatever service is telling me.Why would there be an international backorder on the display if it isnt a defect (like theyre trying to claim) and if VW isnt replacing them under warranty (like they also tried to claim)? Why, after a month and a half, has no one from service contacted me? Why wouldnt they have called me and told me before that they were on backorder instead of leaving me in the dark for over a month until I finally had to harass the salesman again?What an absolute joke of a service department; its almost unbelievable that they could be so incompetent to fumble this every step of the way. Theyve straight up lied to me from the beginning, failed to contact me multiple times over a 1.5 month period, and then tried to cover the lies with more lies. At this point Im 100% done with this dealership; Ill happily recommend that everyone avoid them entirely and Ill work with another dealer to have the display replaced.Edit: A day after posting this review, I received a voicemail from the service manager stating that theyve received the part and would like to schedule the repair. What an incredible coincidence. At this point Ill just continue ignoring them indefinitely as they did to me and take my business elsewhere.

Couldnt be more unsatisfied with this dealership. Their customer service is horrendous. From buying the car to having it serviced, every experience has been a nightmare. The management was incredibly disrespectful to our salesman during our purchase transaction, leaving us feeling very uncomfortable and awkward. The service shop is slow, unreliable, and must be chased down at every turn. Recently brought my car in for service; what was supposed to be a same-day fix turned into 7 days. When my car was returned to me using one of their porters, they were apparently rear ended in a hit and run situation. Its now be 6 days and I cannot get anyone in the service department to call me back or provide me with any support in getting this fixed. I wouldnt drive a car off this lot again in the future if it were free.
