In-depth Therapy is unlike any other therapist Ive ever been to. From the time you walk into their office, you can tell that its a positive, uplifting and healing environment. Everyone Ive met there is friendly, nonjudgmental and seems very passionate about what they do.From my personal experience, they really take the time to truly get to know you and find what works best for you. They dont shy away from the tough issues, but its always done in a safe and helpful way. If you are looking for a therapist thats not like any other, I recommend In-Depth Therapy!

My review is honest and if I could I would attach screenshots of all my communication with this company. If I could give zero stars I would. My review is based on the Fort Collins based In-Depth Therapy.I was a client of Marnie Richter. The paper work process was rather simple. The first meeting went decent for the first 45 minutes, at which point we were scheduling my next appointment 2 weeks later. At which point Marnie Richter told me she was pretty flexible as this was her second job and is a elementary teacher first. I found this a little unprofessional as that is none of my business and I was coming to her for mental help. At this time we made plans to set up my payment method. A couple days pass I call and give her my payment information and ask if we can split the charges, which she fully agreed to. We have our second appointment session was ok I asked for a letter I needed in order to get custody of my children from out of state at which time she agreed to write me a letter. I never got the letter I needed from her then I asked again if we could split the charge as Christmas was less than a week away. She agreed to charge one session after December 15tg and the next after January first. She then later said she TEXTED me asking for my card information which I refused to give in text message as I feel that is very unsafe!! I woke up on December 28th 2020 to the bank calling saying In-Depth Therapy had charged my account 3 times which set my account over draft for 2 charges. When I contacted her to inform her and ask what was going on she pushed all the blame on me and used everything I had told her about my past against me and made me feel exactly like I was worthless. I came to her for help and left in more hurt than I came to her.Flash forward I asked to speak with whoever was in charge and didnt get a response until I asked again 24 hours later. I then received a email from Barbara Humble explaining she was one over the owners and that they would open on Jan. 4 after the holidays to give her a call. I have called over 135 times to be met with a voice-mail explaining they will be closed until January 4tg. Its the 12th now with still no response nor solution. Barbara Humble did call me 1 time in all this time and I was mid work 40ft in the air and couldnt talk. I have repeatedly called with the same voice-mail and no answer. If you have serious mental issues and need help I would consider looking elsewhere as my problem started December 28th 2020 and have yet to get help. I dont think they take their clients needs important.

I just wanted to shout out Sally at in-depth. Over the months we have established great rapport which has in previous experience always been a challenge. I very much value her knowledge and willingness to listen and address my issues head on. I can’t thank her enough for the fantastic job she has done in past months and I am for the first time in a decade excited about what the future holds.Joey C

After a car accident in August 2014, I suffered from some neck pain and ear fullness. Acupuncture and physical therapy helped with my neck, but my ear was still full. After hearing about brain spotting, I really wanted to give it a try. It made sense that trauma might actually be the thing holding me back from healing. After having one appointment with Barbara Humble, my ear made more progress than it did with months of physical therapy and acupuncture. If there is something in your life that you cant seem to move on from or heal, I highly suggest brain spot therapy. It gets to the core of the issue and leaves you positive and optimistic. Dont waste hundreds of dollars on other treatments. Give this a try! Trust me...its worth it!

I have been an In-Depth Therapy client for the past 4 years, specifically working with Barb Humble. She is an extremely well-trained, honest, non-judgmental and trustworthy therapist, with impeccable ethics and boundaries.I have struggled with active alcoholism and addiction for over 30 years and was in the late stages of alcoholism when I began treatment with Barb. Although it took me about 6 months to feel safe enough to admit this (something Id never previously done with ANYONE), and another 6 months to do something about it, I have been completely sober and drug-free for just over 3 years, in large part because of my work with Barb (and active participation in AA).More importantly, I have significant early childhood trauma/PTSD issues that have never come close to being addressed by years of (and thousands of dollars spent on) traditional forms of therapy. These issues were a serious threat to my continued sobriety and were preventing me from moving towards any type of fulfilled and contented life, regardless of the healing Ive had in other areas.I have typically not been open to alternative forms of therapy but because of the success Id experienced with Barb and other staff members of In-Depth Therapy, as well as the trust and sense of safety Barb has provided, I agreed to try Brainspotting, albeit reluctantly and honestly out of complete desperation. I make no attempt to explain how Brainspotting works, nor do I pretend to understand it beyond a cursory level. I certainly wish I could if only to lend credence to my review. What I can say is that while it has been a difficult process at times, it has been unbelievably effective in not only diagnosing/understanding the trauma and resulting PTSD, but more importantly in bringing real and lasting/permanent healing of these issues, something that talk therapy just couldnt do, no matter how hard I worked at it. Theres nothing inherently frightening or scary about the process (its just kind of weird lol). In fact its quite gentle and by design allows me to move as quickly or slowly as my mind/body can handle. Barb is extremely well trained and skilled in the process and is always willing to answer my questions and help guide me through what is happening and why. Although I lack a solid scientific understanding of Brainspotting (and you probably wont find much online that will help), at this point I honestly dont care because I know that it works and no form of talk therapy ever has. Please note Im not saying that Brainspotting is some miracle cure to fix everything that ails you. I have shown up, done the hard work and consequently reaped the benefits. However, Barb has provided the nurturing, safe, and very effective therapeutic skills and experience to allow this to happen and for this I am deeply grateful.
