I found this place a couple months ago and they do Amazing work! I’m a nail bitter and I always get my nails long or extra long and it’ll be about 2/3 weeks before 1 nail even pops off. That’s just my personal experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😁

I give this nail salon a 1 because they blatantly ignored my requests. When asking for prices I was told what to get when I was adamant on selected service. The lady who did my pedicure rushed and I have dead skin on feet still. I knew I was going to have issues when I requested clear tips and I was given the confused look. The young lady who started my nails either was -new and nervous or just plain didn’t know what she was doing. I explained I do hair and I’ve been getting nails done over 30 years. I know what my acrylics should look like. I asked for her to fix. The male owner came over and said file down that’s all. You can’t just file down acrylic that isn’t sealed to nail. It will lift and break immediately. DO NOT SPEND MONEY HEREEdit: I see owner has replied. Pictures don’t lie. I work in service industry. Last picture I just posted because like I told them the nails would break less than 24 hrs. It did.

Was weary because of some reviews, but had a wonderful experience! The lady that did my pedicure and gel manicure was so friendly. Another lady did the design on my nails that I showed her a picture of and did a great job.Only thing I wish is that the lady would have scrubbed my heels a bit more because they were really bad 😬They had a lot of people working and it was a clean shop.

Tony has amazing acrylic, paint and design skills. Bang for your buck and speedy service

I’m giving this nail salon 2 stars for multiple reasons....1. I book an appointment for a REASON! When I get there I don’t get seen for another 10 minutes. Right in the middle of the lady doing my nails, the nail tech goes to do another persons nails.2. My nails have NEVER popped off! After a day of getting them done, they’re lifting and popping off! I’m paying over $50 for my nails and they’re coming off so easily !It sucks because I really do like the salon and the nail tech does a good job but I’m tired of making an appointment and not being seen right away. I’m tired of her stopping what she’s doing to do another clients nails, and I’m tired of my nails coming off after a dayWon’t be coming back

Jenny does an awesome job! Very detailed and actually cares about her work. If she messes up on your nail, she catches and will redo it! Perfect Manicure!

I had a wonderful experience. They treated me like the Queen I am and gave me exactly what I requested!! From my pedicure to my hands they pampered me so wonderfully. I have neglected myself and they took care of me and transformed me back to what I am used to.. Beautiful!!! Thank you everyone

Left the salon very satisfied. They stayed 2 hours after close just to finish mine, my sisters and other costumers nails. They offered me drinks and made sure I was completely comfortable. My nails came out so beautiful and they always do. I been coming here for over a year and I’ve never left the salon unsatisfied.

Paid way too much for a terrible design & careless service. Getting them done was painful & the woman made me bleed 2 times & failed to acknowledge that. The man who did the design was in too much of a rush & did not complete the design correctly. Neither person asked one time if I liked it & when I spoke up they just continued to so the same thing.

First time coming here and I felt welcomed. I was acknowledged when I walked in. I did not have to wait long. Everyone was friendly and I love the results of my manicure. Anna did an excellent job and she was very nice.

Staff is sweet and nice toes bomb and nails amazing cant wait for my Halloween fill!!!!

I got a full set here twice now and the owner Ana is very nice I had to come in a few times to fix them and they were very nice about it and took care of me free of charge got me right in and for that reason I still go there to get my nails done. I take pride in my nails and they understand that. I will be going back today or beginning of next week to get them filled cant wait!

My 1st time coming to modern nails waz the day before Christmas Eve I called to see if they had any availability they told me to come in & took me right away Everyone is extremely friendly and everything is fairly clean.... I got a full set & a pedicure everything went well & I loved my nails... about 6 days in 3 nails started to slightly lift... I called in & spoke to Ana & she offered for me to come in & have them fixed right away no questions asked... I appreciated that very much!! Just left from having them fixed & I will definitely be back!

The people here are nice and prices were normal I believe. I got a pedi and full set. The pedi felt amazing and the lady was friendly. Had to wait a while to get the full set and it felt rushed the whole time. The tech kept stopping to answer calls and take payments. The shaping and thickness of the nails couldve been better. They lasted 2 weeks in Mexico.

Found this spot on google search after receiving bad customer service, price gouging, and poor quality from another well know local nail salon. MODERN NAILS...Professional, respectful, and friendly. Prices are listed so you know they are not price gouging and they are very reasonable. You can get the latest designs with a nice classy clean look. I’m big on foundation, because anybody can make something look good on top but it’s the foundation that makes quality for me. I normally don’t write reviews but I just had to write this review because I am in love with the foundation, shape and overall quality of my nails. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Check them out you will not be disappointed!

They owner stays rushing you, and doesn’t even do what you want because he only cares about the money and doesn’t even take the time to do what you actually want on your nails it’s so unprofessional and AGGRAVATING. They just rush you and want they money..... I’m never coming again I don’t recommend this place.

I love Tony, Anna and the crew. They always take good care of me. Tonys styles and designs are unmatched. Even when Im keeping it simple.

My pedicure was good but when I asked how much to get my underarms waxed she told me 10$. The wax room was a storage room, she waxed and then tweezed the rest of my armpit hairs. I told her to stop by she kept going. Then she shaved the rest off with a bic razor dry. Im feeling it the next day!! Then she charged me 25$ not 10$. I felt bad not tipping but I was so upset.

Staff is friendly not the best nail job though. The tech wasnt as experienced using dip powder as I would have liked

They took me in right away which I really appreciated after making a phone call in. The spa pedicure wasn’t anything special for 25 dollars. What I don’t like is within 2-3 days my toe polish started to chip. I also got the dip on my nails. The menu I looked at said it was 30 dollar when it was actually 40. I loved the way it looked the day I got it done. 2 days after getting it done, the top coat is coming off almost all my nails, leaving the color dull. I got a very light color so it isn’t as noticeable but for 40 dollars it’s frustrating. It also looks like my thumb nail has a crack in it. I teach, so I am harder on my hands and that is why I got the dip. I am not very happy at the end of the day with the quality for the price.

My nails were nice but no nicer than the other Salons that charge less, they charge $10 more for fill ins and pedicures so I wont go back when there are 50 other salons that are just as good and cost less.

I’ve gotten my eyebrows waxed which was my last visit at this place, the technician didn’t even clean my eyebrows thoroughly so I let her know hey umm I see a couple a little strands on Both side so she exhaled and grab the tweezers did her job. Passes me the mirror again and I see more stranded hair on my eyebrows, before I even said anything she walks out of the room I said cool. NpThe store owner told me that he wasn’t going to spend 7minutes on each nail all because I wanted silhouette nails. SMH,ALL I CAN SAY IS, IF YOU DON’T WANNA BUSINESS DON’T OWN ONE, treating customer like they don’t matter will get you no where. That’s my experience in this place and will be my last.

Expensive, and my gel manicure started coming off only 5 days after I got it. I give it a 2 star because my manicurist was sweet.

I dont know how reputable this place was before, but Ive been made aware that this place has been under new management for about 3 months or so. I was a first time guest and Marie did my nails. She not only far exceeded my expectations but she corrected what my previous nail tech had done with my nails. Tony, the owner, was really nice and helpful. This place is awesome. Come in with a good attitude and youre gonna leave with great nails.

Came with a group. One person in our group didnt get service until the others were already done even though we made a reservation and other staff seemed to be floating around or avoiding the last person in our party.Also, I requested a basic spa pedicure (base option) for myself and was given a premium without knowing or being asked. When i asked if it was an upgraded about half way through i was told it was even though i requested the basic pedicure. I was then charged for the upgraded service even though they admitted it was their mistake. Unfortunately even after all that i notced chips/smears in all our pedicures less than 1 day after service, which could be expected with certain activity like going to the beach but we were just home. The manicures from other reviews look really cute tho.

I come here for gel and acrylics and i love it!! this is the only place i like to come to for my toes. it’s very welcoming and they haven’t disappointed me once.

New management is amazing!!! Remodeled/redecorated inside. Looks beautiful. They work very efficiently. 100% my favorite place to get my nails done. I’ve been going to Tony for around a year now and when he took over Modern Nails I was so excited! The quality of service is outstanding. It’s the absolute only place I will go for my nails. Love this shop, all of the techs are super friendly and do great work. The shop is clean, there are tons of color selections (gel, powder, color acrylic..). The prices are average for nail shops in Tampa but the quality is above and beyond. I drive from St. Pete (45mins away) just because I cant find this great of a shop anywhere else in the area. I highly recommend!

Modern Nails is the BEST nail salon in Brandon, FL! They offer fantastic service at prices that are really hard to beat. Its a really nice family owned and operated business that Ive been going to for many years. Not sure what the other reviews are about because Ive always had a wonderful and pleasant experience. Went to a nail salon up the road and they denied my 72 year old mom service because she had what they thought was fungus on her feet. Called Modern Nails and explained the situation and they took her with no problems. Treated her like a queen, have her extra attention and did a magnificent job. Any one that goes anywhere else is nuts! Love this place!!!!

New management in the shop is very friendly. The shop was clean and very relaxed. I enjoyed my Volcano Pedicure. Massage chairs great as well.
