Just had my first laser hair removal session with Karen. It was wonderful. She talked me through everything and made me feel so comfortable. She obviously loves her job and cares about her clients. I’m excited to continue treatments.

I did cool sculpting and it was a great experience. The procedure was painless and as easy as just sitting there. The staff were very helpful and explained everything to me in detail before I arrived for my appointment. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to lose weight in those stubborn areas. I personally hold my weight in my love handles and only one session of cool sculpting helped me lose some of the weight quickly and painless.

Best injection place hands of an angel

I had Rachel as my provider and I have never been more pleased with such an experience. This was not my first time getting injections, but it was the first time that someone took the time to learn the features of my face and genuinely care about what I would like to fix. I visited Florida Aesthetics and Wellness to get facial repair in the form of fillers and Botox injections. I really needed a lot of work done so I consulted with Rachel Hensler and she immediately went about doing her magic. I was quite impressed with her meticulous attention to detail as she worked on improving my appearance and softening the wrinkles and ugliness that time and decades of exposure to the harsh Florida sun had done to me. She really knew how to achieve a more youthful and rested appearance in my saggy old skin. I also appreciated how she informed me along the way as to the structure of the face and what was happening, due to her extensive medical education and background. Even though she is extremely focused and a perfectionist in what she expects for results, she is very personable and it shows when she is finished with an area and has a beaming smile on her face from pride in her work and complete satisfaction with the outcome.

I really did not want to right a bad review, but I did not have a good treatment here. The machine they use gave me a reaction on my neck and chin days after. I got numbing cream only for 10 minutes and not the full 30 either. The treatment felt a little rushed. The PA did come and see me which was nice. But she made it seem like nothing was wrong, and the pain and swelling I was experiencing was normal. Look I can handle pain, I have big tattoos, pericings, and endometriosis and Pcos. But the pain I felt that day was sooo bad (like getting my neck opened up multiple times without anesthesia). I dont know if the heat was higher for me becuase of my Pcos hormonal hair. But the lady told me Im not a good candidate for laser because of the reaction I had. But I honestly think I still am a good candidate and she probably said that because she was rushing and the machine was not as good as some other places. I saw the good reivews here, so I expected a good outcome.. But my friend has the same disease and same skin tone and hair as me and she gets laser hair removal too. She told me not all lasers are the same and that she once had a bad experience at some other place but the place she goes to now has a good machine and a doctor preforms the service. The laser that doctor uses at the other place is the soprano laser and it cools and rolls over skin rather then stamping sensation like the one used in this place.. also the cooling laser at the other place is so painless, they dont even require numbing cream. Also when speaking to the other laser hair removal place, they said that numbing cream with the old laser was pointless becuase it still very painful. The soprano laser also works on all skin tones, unlike the laser used at this place. My friend also told me that doctor test patches her to make sure that the laser is not burning or causing a reaction. I feel like my laser technician should have done this as well. But again I think she thought I was a perfect candidate and kinda rushed and expected a good outcome. I was also irritated that they did not call to check up on me like they said they would have. Assuming was not good on her part.I was also contacted by the manager after writing this review. She wanted me to take this down. She made me sound like I was overreacting and she did not consider my experience at all. If the manager responds to this review saying i did not come here, please know that I did, and that she has written a similar response to peoples bad reviews of her business so that other people dont credit the bad reviews. Please do your research before laser hair removal guys. After my bad expierence I called other laser hair removal centers and described what happend to me and they all said the machine they used at this place is the more painful old style machine.

I never write bad reviews, but in this case I really felt that they deserved it. They don’t honor their Groupon deal for laser hair removal. In the deal it says that it’s valid to repurchase the Groupon if you haven’t been an active customer for 12 months. It says nothing about not being able to purchase it if you were a previous client. I got it as a gift for my aunt who had not been a customer at their clinic for over 3 years. They refused to treat her. Their manager was also very rude. I expect better from someone who is in a managerial position. Her behavior should be an example to her employees. She definitely needs to work on her Customer service. I’m so disappointed in this place.On a side note, I actually was an active customer there and their laser hair removal machine is not my favorite. It stunted hair growth in the treated area, but I still had to shave after treatment once a week. I had the area retreated at another laser hair removal center with much better results. I actually tried to dissuade my aunt from using this location, but she liked it because it was close to her home. I will never refer anyone to this place again.***I just want to add as a response to the “owner” as she refused to say what her name is when asked on the phone, that as I said I don’t write bad reviews. So although I was not 100% satisfied with my treatment, I kept it to myself as I’m not the type to complain. It’s your behavior today that has caused this review. You need to honor what it says on your Groupon. If it says “valid to be repurchased if you have not been an active customer in 12 months” you need to follow through on what you advertise. Do not mislead people. And do not speak to your customers in a condescending tone. I am 100% honest in this review. I was not happy with my treatment, but I kept it to myself. I got a groupon last year for laser, and i was lucky to get booked with Karen for my first appointment; i have never strayed since. Karen is AMAZING! I got my lip done and many people noticed it was uneven, So i called and they said NO we have pictures, number 1 that was the owners wife 2. I live and look at it my lip. Pictures really!!!!! I have been researching numerous weight loss programs and methods--I have depression and fibromyalgia and am on quite a few medications. Two of the places told me I would be just fine taking the prescribed appetite suppressants--no real contraindications. Then I went to Brandon Weight Loss--before I went I called and spoke to Allison, who works on the neurology side of the clinic. She is VERY knowledgeable, and answered all my questions, including prices (which the other two places were not going to discuss until I got there). At my appointment, the receptionist was very pleasant, the office is clean and spacious, and when I was taken back by Michelle, she too was extremely knowledgeable, and pleasant. What impressed me most? When she heard the two meds I take for depression, she paused, left to talk to the doctor, and came back and said--no way could I take the appetite suppressant while on my meds. So she wanted to save me money and not have me get unnecessary lab tests/EKG (only needed for taking the suppressants). So instead she recommended the natural (and cheaper) method for appetite control. Very impressed. Healthy program, knowledgeable staff, realistic calorie intakes, and a concern for possible interactions with my other medications. I am looking forward to achieving my goals!

Several gals from my office and myself started the program at Brandon Weight Loss. Going to Brandon Weight Loss was the worst decision and loss of money I have ever spent. Everytime I went in for an appointment I would see a different face. I had been taken back by several different people including one of the front desk girls who cleary was not certified for the position. I was paying to see a NUTRITIONIST. I asked several questions related to my diet and exercise routine and could not get a straight answer. I had been told by one of the employees that the office mananger was rude and mistreated the employees. Very unprofessional atmosphere and absolutely terrifiying to have a untrained person give you an injection not even knowing where to put the syringe. This place is a law suit waiting to happen. Needless to say, the girls from my office and myself will NEVER spend another dime at this place again. PLEASE RESEARCH OTHER PLACES BEFORE WASTING YOUR MONEY. THERE ARE TONS OF PLACES IN THE BRANDON AREA TO GO.
