Every time I go to the pool store the girls are so sweet and helpful. They know what they are talking about when it comes to pool chemicals and get me what I need every time!

I texted this company a couple of times about an above ground pool liner replacement. I was told they would get back to me. After a couple of days, a lady called and I gave them info about the pool and sent pics. A week went by and I sent them another text on a Thursday asking if they had any more info. Was told they were receiving liners the next day and I would be notified. After not hearing from them, my husband and I stopped by the store on Tuesday. Was told it would be three weeks to get the liner in. We asked to see the liners and ended up picking the one we wanted. Well, they actually had it in the back. We set up an appointment with Delena (?) for Friday morning to look at the pool. She never showed. Didn’t even receive the courtesy of a phone call. I sent them a text and told them that if they didn’t want my business they should have just said so. I could have been looking elsewhere. No response. Had to book another company and will have to wait until summer is almost over for a liner.

I have spent a ton of time doing research on hot tubs and hot tub manufacturers. Watkins (Caldera and Hot Springs) make some of the best hot tubs on the market. They will have parts for your tub 20 years from now. That is something that is important to me because hot tubs can last over 20 years if properly maintained. Being a larger guy some hot tubs have small seats and outdated seat layouts that make it uncomfortable for big people. I highly recommend sitting in many of them to find the best fit for you. But after doing all of my research I found that the Caldera had the best overall look and build for my budget. I will say doing all of the research that I did. I have been to many different stores and Southern Pools has the best customer service of any other location I went too. Delena is just awesome she explained everything, was very honest about everything and super helpful. She is someone that has been in the business for a long time just wants to earn your business. She made me a deal that no one else in the Tri-Cities was able to make. They offer 60 months same as cash. This makes purchasing a hot tub very affordable. I highly recommend Southern Pools and Spas.

My experience with southern pool and spa was a complete nightmare. I preordered my pool liner in early spring and paid in full. Twice the wrong liner was ordered taking up the first 5 weeks of spring. This information was relayed to me via installer. Meanwhile I could not get management to return my call. Kingsport manger was very rude and told me it wouldn’t be until the end of summer before the could get the correct one in. They wouldn’t even offer me a discount and now our pool will be closed for the summer. Everywhere else is booked because I put all my trust in this company. They kept telling me how busy they were and really made me feel like this didn’t matter to them. When I put an honest review of my experience on their Facebook under community experience, they immediately removed it. Beware! Seems like they filter out the bad reviews to make themselves look good. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Such great people from start to finish! We had looked at other places and asked at the store about what other dealers had told us. No one in the Kingsport location said anything bad about other spas or the specific companies, which shows character. They put up with my husband trying to get a deal and all my endless questions without batting an eye. The ladies in the Kinsgport location were very knowledgable and patient. The young men who installed (on a usual day off so that we could have it before Christmas, by the way), Tyler and Logan, were FANTASTIC and even cleaned up after they left. And it was a muddy mess due to rain, let me tell you! Im going to enjoy my beautiful hot tub just as soon as I finish all the Christmas duties!

My husband and I have talked about getting a spa for years, since we both have musculoskeletal issues. The entire buying process and installation went smoothly. Professional, answered all our questions and definitely know their stuff. A big thanks to Delena, Chelsey (when Delena wasn’t there) and the guys that came to install our Caldera Seychelles spa.
