The first picture is what I wanted and that last ones are what I got. These are supposed to be my wedding nails!I walked in and the man was extremely rude he was raising his voice about me trying to show him what I wanted and said he wanted to do the nail first. He glued on white nail tips. After he completed the nail he then looked at picture and said he didn’t have small enough rhinestones. He then proceeded and didn’t ombré nothing. He didn’t even airbrush white tips… he just clear coated and then charged me $75!! $75 for my nail to be jagged on the sides, nicked in my cuticles, tips that don’t even cover my fingernails and super rude staff.I will never ever be back. Beware. It was a super uncomfortable environment.

I have been to this salon several times, because I’ve been happy with their work. I like to support a family business but the one thing that I can not get past is how incredibly rude the owner is. Today was the last straw; although my last few visits the owner has had full on meltdowns when I’ve requested how I’d like my nails filed and color selection. My last visit- I chose a color of polish but when I saw the color with the bottle opened, I asked if I could change my color. He started yelling at me then walked over, grabbed a blue polish off the shelf, slammed it on the table and yelled, “you want blue! Here’s your blue!” Today when I asked him to file my nails straighter across, he immediately stood up and yelled, “I’ve already done that. There is nothing more I can do. You want straight? She’s gonna have to do that!” (He said that pointing to his wife who also works there.) Both times, I called him out for being so rude and unprofessional. It is beyond me, how they stay in business I told them that I have tried to support their business but it is sad how they treat their clients. I will never go back again.

I have been getting my nails done here the last 6 months only because of the convenience that it is walk in. Every single time there is something im not satisfied with. Whether it be the customer service or my nails. I get charged something new every time. Last time it was 70 today it was 39. For the same thing. Guess it depends on what type of service you want that day. Today i walked out with my nails already chipped and two toned colors cause the 2nd coat didnt cover. I will never go back again!!

I had a nice pedicure on a Friday afternoon and by the following Monday polish had chipped on several nails. I called on Tuesday afternoon and asked about it and I was rudely told regular polish will come off that fast and not to say that it doesn’t. I said ok thank you I will not be back. The man was very RUDE on the phone!!

At first the own (the man) seemed quite rude and intimidating. I wanted to leave but my feet was already in the water. After about 15 or 20 minutes he came to my pedicure station and soften things up and we talked nearly the whole time my nails turned out amazing alao!

They were very nice and quickly repaired two of my nails.

I loved my nails! When I got in they had me in a seat in a short amount of time. They listened when I gave directions about my nails and they did everything I asked. They were very careful and detailed and my nails came out beautifully! I will definitely be back!!

Terrible service and so rude. my friend asked for a french tip with brown and they did white then argued with her saying that’s what she asked for. then proceeded to yell at both of us.

I think they can do better. The nail tech that saw me was sort of mean and short with me in the beginning. I do like me nails but later realized that one nail was crooked. The polish could have also been better. It was a bit sloppy without a fix. Clear polish is on my skin around the nail. Overall I like my nails but they can do better. #Room4MuchImprovement

Under staffed and rush doing pedicures

My daughter and I came here for a nail day. We were scheduled very quickly and taken back right away. They were gentile with my 6 year olds fingers, and taught her how to dry her gel polish correctly. Two of the nails chipped over the weekend, they got us in right away and fixed both immediately. Will definitely be returning 😊

The owner of the salon did a HORRIBLE job on my nails. Had to continue to tell her again and again that I wanted my nails square and the way she was filing and when she stopped were not square. What a joke. This was about 4 weeks ago. I also got a pedicure and tipped the woman extra because she wasnt rude like the lady who did my nails. But I hav two severely ingrown toenails now from how short my toes were trimmed. This was the absolute worst salon experience Ive ever had. I just moved to bowling green from toledo and I will make that drive every time now to avoid this NASTY salon

I’ve been going here for so many years get my nails and feet’s done. They did a great job, had good experience, nice people and lovely staff, and spend good money, they takes time care for you. It’s very convenient close to my home. I would recommend to everyone. I don’t know why there is so many bad reviews but for me is great. Please come by to see them.

Their customer service was the absolute worst I had ever received from any nail shop in the US. I asked for a full set of nails for myself, my daughter and my sister and even showed them a photo of what we wanted and what we received in return was far from what we had asked for. This was my daughter’s do We were given a minute to pick out a nail polish color and when we asked for more time, we were met with insults. I will never go back there for services and highly suggest that if you’re thinking of making an appointment or walking in for services, that you think again. This place deserves a rating of less than 1 star for Customer service, quality, pricing and overall service. I wouldn’t go back there even if I were offered their services for free!!!

I really love this place! The staff were so kind and polite during my visit and made me feel very comfortable. Im usually very awkward during services like these. The quality was also super great for the price. Pictures wouldnt do justice! I will definitely be returning!

I never wait too long even when they are busy. They are fast and my nails look good when I leave. I used to think the man who works there all the time didn’t like me but I have gotten used to his ways and realize he is “nice grumpy” not “mean grumpy” and he’s kind of grown on me. He does an excellent job as well.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had.

The nail technician was rude and snapped at me for asking a question about the nails that I was paying for. The nail technician also blamed his own mistake on me instead of taking responsibility for the mistake and apologizing. I would not recommend.

If i could give this 0 stars I would. I had my nails done along with my step daughters. My step daughters were sloppy. Mine were great but two hours later my thumb snapped off. So two days later when I had the time I stopped in. The man there who did my daughters nails said I needed an appointment I explained I had drove 35 mins for a simple repair. He said Id have to wait so I asked how long he thought and he rudly sainr when we are done. I said okay and went to wait in my car as I felt uncomfortable in the establishment. I went back in 15 minutes later and he comes at me strong saying there are other people waiting for appointments now and he cant do it that i need an appointment. Moral of the story he should not be working with customers or doing nails he is unprofessional and does extremely sloppy work!!!!

I came here a lot with my family to do our hands and toes they did a great and wonderful job. Had a good time here at this Nail Salon. They do everything like gel, acrylic, pedicure and manicure with the best massage and hot tower is so relax here. All the time I come they always busy. I love it and this is my favorite place to go to do my nails. Is worth it I would recommend it to everyone. If there more stars I will give more.

I have been going to Elegant Nails for some time now. I have Acrylic nails and I always get gel polish. They have a nice selection of gel polish colors. But they dont do the cat eye polish which perplexes me since most other salons do. Ive never had a problem with my manicure not lasting. My nails have always been shaped and filed as Ive requested. This is the ONLY reason I gave this salon two stars. Peter the owner is cold, rude, and disrespectful to customers. Hes also rude to his wife and daughter.....in front of customers! After witnessing his behavior on several occasions the final straw was when he yelled at me & totally embarrassed me in front of everyone in the salon. His lovely wife had started to paint my nails and the color (my own polish I brought with me) was not how I thought the color would look. When asked if she could remove the polish from the one nail she painted and I could pick out a different color, Peter then yelled at me that I was holding up the salon (two people were waiting) and it would cost me an extra $35.00! For a 5 second fix & a minute to pick a new color? I will never go back to this salon again nor will I recommend this place to anyone! No one should spend money to be treated in such an awful manner. Very unprofessional and a great way to lose customers. So dont waste your time or your money. There are cleaner, less expensive, more courteous salons that offer a better range of services then Elegant Nails. My new salon is amazing and by my second visit they remembered my name. You will never experience that kind of customer care at Elegant Nails.

Paid 40$ for a gel manicure just for it to chip in less than a week

This place was the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. 5 of my acrylics did cracked within a week and a half and when I went to get them removed they told me they were to busy to remove them today. Do not recommend getting your nails done here.

My nails always turn out good although the lady who was doing my nails had head phones in an was talking in the phone the whole time and couldn’t hear me at times. The man on the other hang was filling down my nails and cut my cuticals on 2 of my fingers! He was also not very friendly and rough with my hands.

I went in today to have my nails filled and repaired, after waiting almost 4 weeks to have it done. 3 of them had fallen off and most of the others were coming loose, which was all due to my neglecting them. So, they recommended I get a new full set but I could only afford the fill and repair today. Even tho I couldnt afford it they gave me a whole new set for the price of the fill and repair. I guess there r benefits to being a regular/valued customer. These people r great, always friendly, and my nails r always beautiful when I leave. Im a very satisfied customer indeed and would recommend this place to anyone! 😁

Went there for my first time, was not impressed. Started out alright welcomed me but when the man began to place my tips on they were crooked. I have very small nail beds so its hard for tips to fit on my nails. The man trimmed the tips to fit but did a bad job. Their process is different from other nail shops. The acrylic was placed on thin. Overall i would not recommend this place. Dont even give them a chance.

Not impressed. Unfortunately my shellac only lasted a solid two days, which is unheard of. It started to peel up around the edges. I work in an office, so I am not hard on my hands/nails by any means. I wasnt able to make it back into the salon until it had been exactly a week, and at this point it was peeling off. They did not offer a refund. As a side note, the salon is not very clean. The waiting area is full of dust, and the windowsills are full of cobwebs and insects.

Decent polish selection, decent prices. Some of the staff arent very friendly or attentive which is rather irritating. Even if you try and engage them, they seem annoyed or like they want to mock you. Nails (acrylic) were quality and lasted a while. Last time they were so hard to remove that my finger nails suffered and ached for days. But typically quality work, but the staff could be warmer.

I took my niece there to get her nails that she had been wanting French tips for a long time. The wife of the husband that owns the shop did her nails she did an excellent job. My niece is 10 I thought that they might hurt her because she’s so young or cuticles but she was very gentle my niece really loves her nails and can’t wait to have them filled they look beautiful and they’re staying on perfectly I don’t know why all the negative reviews but I give it two thumbs up I will never take my niece anywhere else and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Very UNPROFESSIONAL! The older man who works there YELLED at his daughter (who was painting my nails) the whole time. To the point she was crying... my nails look terrible. Polish on my fingers, and spots of unpainted nail. I did not complain due to not wanting the girl to get in more trouble. I DO NOT recommend this place. Disappointed in my service and there customer service is less than 1 star.

This place is a total JOKE! First of all the person who I asked to remove my gel polish had to ask the other two older workers how to do it, she did such a poor job at this simplest of tasks that the foils constantly were falling off. After sitting for over 30 min another lady took one look at it and scraped a single time saying oh it needs more time. Didnt bother to try! Another 15 min later and they had started servicing 4 people by this time who came in AFTER me(all walk-ins). This process takes 10 minutes ANYWHERE ELSE IVE EVER BEEN. So after starting to work on four other people I said how ridiculous it was and walked out. Totally not a good way to run your business poor quality and theyre just trying to run through people and do one step on each person at a time as opposed to going in order of arrival.

I dont really enjoy myself when the man does my nails because he always seemed annoyed and has burned me every time with the drill. When his wife does mine, shes very gentle and kind and does a great job. So I always try to go to her when I visit this salon. Very clean and organized.

I have been going to Elegant Nails for a long time and would not go anywhere else. Peter and his family work very hard, do a very nice job and have very fair prices. I cant understand somsome of the low reviews, I have nothing but positive things to say about the salon and the family that owns it. 😃

I have tried to give this nail salon multiple attempts to prove me wrong; I am not very satisfied each time I leave. I haven’t been here in years because I always go to Levi’s Commons, but today I decided to come here because I’m in a time crunch and it is so close. The staff is rude. They don’t greet you when you come in... furthermore, the quality of their work is not very great. I had to tell the woman doing my pedicure how to do it! I’m never coming back. I don’t even mean to sound like one of those negative reviewers but I can’t.

He did a pretty good job. Not the best. But everything else in town was closed or had no techs.

When I walked in They seems nice she told me to sit down with the man I told him what I wanted he said it was fine he would do it I told him he filed the sides of my nails off to far they looked crooked he got mad and started yelling in his language and another lady had to finish doing my nails I had to tell her what I wanted and what was wrong and she was somewhat rude didn’t want to listen to What I had to say and didn’t hardly respond very very dissatisfied with the results of my nails and when I left several of them were not dry and they got messed up I will never go back there again and do not recommend it to anyone

I will never go back to this salon. The man doing my nails was watching TV and a show on his computer while doing my nails. I did not appreciate his lack of focus or either his attempt to show that he cares about the outcome of my nails. I had a couple of them start to losen and come up after about a week so I went back to get them removed. I had assumed they would be soaked off. NO. He pulled them off with tweezers! They had not been touched at all by any acetone so he was just ripping them off my nail. I was tearing up I was in so much pain. I had to take a break before I let him finish. I will never, ever go back again... ever.

I regularly get pedicures as I travel to Florida every 4-6 weeks. I walked into this place because I needed my toes done for a wedding. I should know better than to expect the same level of service or talent in my small hometown that I get in Florida or California. The lady that started on my toes was nice enough but when I tell you that it only took her 15 minutes to unpolish, trim, remove cuticles and callouses, shape and buff my nails, Im probably being generous. I kept my mouth shut until she painted them. I have NEVER had anyone leave such a gloppy mess on my toes. She didnt even TRY to stay in the lines. She thought she could fix it with acetone and a brush. When she started to apply a top coat, I told her the job was unacceptable and it needed to be fixed. I honestly could have given myself a better pedicure at home. The manager chastised me for insisting a 3rd grader could have done a better job but never bothered to come over and look either. Another woman fixed the awful polish job with her own sub-standard paint job. (Ill be fixing it at home and getting another pedicure soon). The worst part of the entire process is that they charge $28 for a spa pedicure....there is no option for a regular pedicure. Believe me, this was as basic as basic could be. They will never get another dime of my money or anyone elses that I can warn away.

Okay, so I never been here until yesterday because I needed a balance desperately and thought Id try them out. And the women told me the man would do them. So I sat down, and I could imminently feel his bad vibe, he was not nice at all, not friendly or talkative. I honestly dont know what his problem in life is. But I told him I didnt like one of my nails because it was filed crooked he got pissed got up and started speaking in thier language, then the lady came over to finish, which SHE shouldve been doing them to begin with. Men dont understand as much! So I explained to her and she said she sees what I meant, then she went to go paint them & I said WAIT, my pinky nail didnt even get filled in all the way because the man obviously can not see properly! So she finally seen what I was talking about and filled in the big gap with more acrylic! They lay the acrylic on very thin. And she told me I was picky, I told her Im paying my money Im not gonna walk out with messed up nails. Then I picked out regular polish, not gel.. And she told me to sit at a UV NAIL DRIER which did not dry my regular polish completely so when I left thinking my nails were finally dry, I messed the polish up on my right hand I turned the heater on Full blast in my car and dried them while going to pick up my son. Ive never met a more rude nail salon, all the other ones Ive been to in life are very nice and generous, I wasnt pleased!. The only one that was nice was his wife. They were crappy service all together and I paid too much for the service given, I even tried to be nice by saying thank you, and waved bye & that wasnt even appreciated, its like they didnt care they litteraly ignored me. they dont even own air driers for regular polish, only UV LIGHT GEL POLISH DRIERS! Only good thing I got out of it really, is I really like this teal polish I picked out! I dont think Ill ever go back. I dont recommend.🖕

Those who left positive reviews for this place, clearly you have never had a good manicure before. I paid $32 for a shellac manicure and it was appalling. No lotion, no hand massage, no trimming of cuticles and the polish was a mess and all over my skin on EVERY nail. The service is also very cold and somewhat rude.

I asked for long nails and they said $5 extra and i was okay with that but they still made them short. very sloppy with the polish and very rude. -5 stars if i had the option

Dont go to this nail salon!!!! The man who greeted me was rude, nasty and I paid $35 for a pedicure that lasted 15 minutes and Ill have to have them redone. This was the most AWFUL experience of my life - how do you have a business that caters to people and be the WORST people person ever?!?!?!The stall also did not speak English and was irritated with me because I didnt understand them - this is America people - our primary language IS English!!!!

Always got a fungus. Workers are very very rude. Nails always lifted, and if you got a French nail air spray, would come right off. Do not recomend this place at all!!

I got acrylics from here and am very disappointed. The gentleman was harsh on my nails to the point where one of them began to bleed. Not even a week out and one of my nails has already broke. Fairly expensive for the quality youre getting.

Nails were lifting within a week and the man was not pleasant or didnt not care about how rough he was doing my nails.

I had came in with my dad and step mom to get our nails done. I told them that I did not want acrylic nails but gel, that I wanted my nails extended. After that cut all my nails and filed them down to nothing, they said they understood that Id be getting my nails extended for length, and they just gave me a gel manicure. Do not Go to this place at all . it is not worth it !!!

I have gone here a few times for a fill in only because it is the only nail shop in BG. They are not considerate and will rush through your nails. My nails always turn out too then, when I asked her to apply more acrylic they said they would have to charge me for a full set in order to do so. Very rushed and sloppy job. I will not be returning
