Worst paint job ever. Returned at owners suggestion (3 requests to return) to fix it...she completely made it look like I was asking for a favor when she’d asked me to and CHARGED me. (Short story.)(Long Story)My daughters wanted their nails done before Spring Break in Hawaii. So I took both my daughters for nails and I decided to get a long awaited pedicure I splurged and got the more expensive one. Big mistake. Nails were not even completely painted before leaving the salon. I spent the entire trip watching it chip away.First paint streaky.Taken off.Second paint brittle.Left on.Overcoat weak.Cotton fuzz painted into paint on all finger nails.When I left unhappy I was told to come back to fix the paint. (But was leaving on trip in 24 hr, no time). She told my daughter to tell me to return. And even sent a text with the same request.I finally found time to return, I was told come back later “we are busy”The next time I walked in. Embarrassing. She was like—it’s not worth it now to get them repainted. You just need to buy another pedicure.Wow. Got it.

Best salon ever! Ever since the first time my mom and I came to this salon weve decided to not go to any other one. They do the most amazing acrylic designs! Think of an idea, and Ivy can pull through. The other nail techs also do a very amazing job with acrylics. They do very amazing pedicures as well, the massage chairs are a huge plus.

Ivy at Alexan Nails II did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding nails!! I am from MO and traveled to CO for our wedding, so I was very nervous getting my nails done at a salon I have never been too! My daughter and I have been to Alexan Nails II and we have been very pleased with our experiences. We have had both pedicures and manicures including nail art, full set of acrylics, and gel toe nail and finger nail polish. Alexan Nails II nail spa is clean and Ivy and her staff are wonderful nail technicians. They are welcoming and timely and they are able to duplicate photos of nail art, helpful with color selection, attentive, and we leave feeling pampered and pretty!

I give 5 stars to Diana, the young lady that did my nails. She was wonderful and did an excellent job with the dip powder. Highly recommend here. However the lady that did my pedicure was only so so. The massage was great but she did not do a great cutting and shaping my toenails. I will have Diana do those next time. Thank Diana for making my experience wonderful.

This is one of the best nail places I’ve been to. All of the employees are nice and caring. I came to this nail place with a pretty complicated design but Ivy did a amazing job and we even did a unique gitter on the nails. Only complaint I had was that I did get cut on one of my fingers but otherwise it was amazing service and I definitely will be coming to visit and referring my friends here.

I booked the first appointment of the morning and arrived a little early. The owner immediately greeted me and started doing my nails and offered me a cup of coffee ( it was delicious, by the way). She then handed me off to one of her staff for my pedicure. She is a real dynamo! She checked in periodically to make sure everything was going smoothly and all while answering the phone, booking appointments and overseeing her staff. My nails look beautiful. Top notch all the way.

I had a set refilled a couple weeks ago by Dianna (sorry if that’s spelled incorrectly!). She was so sweet and fun to talk to. She also did a meticulous and beautiful job fixing a set that someone else from a different salon had done poorly. I LOVED how they came out and if I wasn’t moving I would definitely keep going back. Ive been coming to Alexan Nails since I moved to Colorado recently! This place is such a gem! Its always super clean, the women are all so sweet & My nails come out PERFECT every time! I will gladly drive the 1.5 hour drive to come here!!

I took a chance at Alexan after finding out my nail salon was booked out. The salon is clean and used new tools on my feet. My nail technician was professional and took great care. I plan to go back again!

We came to Alexan twice. They had such positive Google reviews that we had to try them out.We came for gel manicures and pedicures. While they looked fantastic, they started chipping really quickly. We assumed it was because we had traveled to Mexico where the humidity could have had an effect.However, we came back and went to Alexan again for more gel manicures and pedicures, and a few things went wrong.1. We picked a cat eye color. They did black gel polish underneath at first. We had never seen that done before and it looked terrible. They fixed it, but it meant we were at the nail salon for almost an hour longer than intended and we had other engagements to get to. They also didnt know how to do the cat eye so the design didnt come out properly.2. The woman doing my pedicure made my big toe bleed. She rubbed so hard next to my toe nail that she removed skin. She felt badly about it, but I still have an unsightly scab more than a week later.3. Our manicures started chipping again. When we called Alexan to have our manicures and pedicures refunded, the manager refused. She said we could come in to have it fixed, but it already had taken so much time out of our schedule we had no desire to have that happen again.Overall Im extremely disappointed with Alexan Nails and will be searching for another nail salon.

Ivy was amazing!!! I needed a new salon as I’m new to Boulder and super picky about my nails. I like clean, natural looking dip powder because I can’t have otherwise for work. Ivy did an outstanding job last month, she rounded my nails so they didn’t look like the typical “puffy” dip powder nails and shaped them better than I have ever had done before- seriously. The nail quality lasted 3 whole weeks, even for a nurse who washes her hands a million times. The service was well organized and staff was friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

I got a full set from Ivy and she did an amazing job at asking me exactly what i wanted and making sure i enjoyed my experience. She also waxed me and made sure i was comfortable throughout the whole process. I cannot say enough good things about this place, please come here if you want professionalism and to be relaxed.

I usually won’t leave a negative review but I’m really disappointed in the service I received. I recently moved and didn’t have a regular salon in town, so I tried this one. Went in for a gel manicure but was pretty aggressively pushed toward dip instead. I stupidly agreed, before realizing this was 30% more expensive (I assume this is why it was so pushy). I honestly can’t even really call this a manicure, it was just removal of my previous gel and then the dip application, nothing else. My nails were filed super rough and they didn’t ask what shape I wanted. My cuticles look considerably worse now than they did when I went in thanks to the file tearing up my skin. From what I now know about dip, the service was performed without any consideration to sanitation, so yet another thing to be sketched out by. I won’t be back and would recommend others going somewhere else.

The ladies at Alexan Nails were so wonderful! My daughters and I all got gel nails together for Mothers Day. They did a fantastic job and topped it off with an adorable design for each of us. We had a lovely morning together and well all definitely go back. Im so happy theyre nearby at the Meadows shopping area!

I got a custom full set with a design and the total was only 60 dollars without tip which is much more affordable than what I normally pay. The staff was incredible and friendly. The salon was very clean and up to date. I felt comfortable and safe being there during the pandemic. I got arguably the best duo manicure I’ve ever had and an amazing (much needed) pedicure. Very relaxing atmosphere and not overly crowded by any means. When they offer you coffee, just say YES. The Vietnamese coffee they give you is to die for. I’ll be coming back without a doubt.

Ivy and her team are the best in Boulder, she does stay busy as they are the best!!! It is best to call ahead for a appointment. I moved here from Texas and when my roommate and I found her shop we have gone no where else. I only had one issue one time and called her it was fixed the very next day at no charge to myself. I did not wait three weeks to come back and complain and expect it to be free. Her and her team go above and beyond to insure that as her customer we are satisfied. I would and will continue to recommend her to anyone that asked. We will be moving out of Boulder in a couple of months but will still continue to travel to her shop for our service.

Very kind and professional group. I usually have a gentleman named Hai Vo who is diligent in making sure my nails are cleaned up 100% (cuticles perfect, nail bed smooth, everything even…) and I appreciate that he does a swipe of polish and then shows me, just in case I don’t like it, need to change my mind or something. But I think I have had all of the technicians at some point and really never had a complaint. They all do a good job.

I have been coming to this place for many years, and it is even better since Ivy bought it this year. Many of the friendly, long-time employees are still here, and they have installed new massage chairs and lots of screens and other precautions to make it safe and clean. I was looking for a new nail place as the place I used to go to got sloppy and too crowded. I heard great things about this place and had to give it a shot and it was such an amazing time. Ivy and Kim were so welcoming and I came in with a photo of inspiration I wanted and my results looked better than the photo! This nail salon is under new ownership. It is clean, friendly and has a ton of brand new colors.I went in for a gel manicure as a walk in. I was greeted with warm welcomes from all of the staff. They have so many colors (I am boring) and I really just wanted a nice dark grey. The new owner quickly helped me find exactly what I was looking for and I wasn’t even her client!This is a really nice place. My manicure is beautiful and although it is not in my neighborhood, I intend to make this my nail salon of choice.The owner made sure to tell me that if there was a chip or break, to come in at anytime and they would fix it. I’ve, literally, never been told this.It is clear that they are trying to make a fresh start with a name that has already been established. If I had read the old reviews, I may not have gone in. The sweetest woman Ivy just took over this salon and has completely refreshed it. The space feels incredibly clean and safe and COVID-conscious, new massage chairs, and the loveliest people working. I highly recommend!!! This is the best nail spot in Boulder right now without a doubt!

I had a full set of acrylics done here about a week ago, they’re holding up so well! Everybody here was so kind and helpful, and they got me seated immediately. The Vietnamese coffee they gave me was INCREDIBLE, I recommend trying a cup of coffee when you stop by :) Will definitely be returning, this is the best nail salon that I’ve found in Boulder
