What an absolutely incredible place. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. I went in hoping to find a new hairstyle, and Jenn asked me about my previous styles and what I was looking for before offering some styles and explaining what the cut would look like long term. I also got a beard trim and the experience was luxurious. The shop was very lowkey, but I had a great time chatting with the staff and customers. All around great experience, will definitely be returning.

The boulder barber is the barber if you are in the area, I love this place from the employees, environment, prices, flexibility and the cuts. They often can work with me if I am tight on time and just need a call in. This past visit I had the privilege to have jenn work on my mullet! She took great care of me, listened to what I wanted and did just that, even cleaned up my beard for me!! Definitely recommend

Tad does a great job for a fair price. other haircuts from the other banners were good too (took me a while to settle on Tad). i really like the paintings they have up as well. pre covid they had a fridge with sodas while you waited.

Cut and a shave for 40. Unpretentious spot and good quality low fade. Hot towels for the shave were warm at best, unfortunately, and I got nicked a few times.

This barbershop used to employ barbers that really cared and took their time to make sure your haircut was spotless. Now, this place looks like any other barbershop in which barbers are rushing to give you the haircut as fast as possible. I went in and I told the barber explicitly that my haircut was FOR MY WEDDING and she still cut my hair like there was a line of people waiting (but no one else was waiting). I ended up with a haircut that I could have gotten at Cost Cutters for half the price. Save yourself the money. I shall be taking my business elsewhere.

I took my 8 year old son for a haircut with Randy yesterday on short notice. Randy got us in right away and did a great job based on a picture I brought with me.

Well it was amazing at first because starters they were the only place I was able to get an appointment at same day, but the actual haircut was amazing! Tran is very fast and does awesome work those two usually don’t go together! And their prices are on point Definitely recommend remember ask for Tran!

I got a skin/razor fade from Tran yesterday, and not only was it one of the best cuts Ive gotten, it was also one of the fastest (but not rushed by any means). Tran also had some great stories to tell. I will definitely be going back!

I was very happy with my experience at the Boulder Barber, I booked with Tran and am very happy with my haircut. He took the time to shave around the edges to clean them up and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten! Also had great conversation and some pretty cool stories!

It was a great experience. I was with Tran and he got me in and out within about 20 minutes for a very clean undercut. Incredibly friendly and did a great job with the cut. Ive been coming to this shop for almost 2 years now and the staff has always been friendly. It is among the more expensive barber shops but I believe it is 100% worth it. They go the extra mile with a hot towel and a neck shave along with just a very positive atmosphere.

Everyone here was nice, I was happy with my haircut as far as I could see from the front until I got home and saw the back. Im not sure if Rin got distracted but its not straight or faded correctly at all. Definitely not worth the 35$ plus tip I paid when I can get something far more professional for 20$ elsewhere.

It’s always daunting to pick a barber randomly online. On a recent trip to Boulder, my son and I both scored quality professional haircuts from Randy. Randy is a solid barber and highly recommended. Can’t go wrong here.

Always leave with shorter hair than when I walked in. But seriously, I tried a ton of barber shops around Boulder before I found this gem and now I refuse to go anywhere else. Tad is awesome and will give you a $100 haircut for $25. Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. All of the barbers do an incredible job so no matter who you get, you are gonna leave happy. Very short wait times for walk-ins and I can usually get an appointment within an hour of calling.

Best effing barber shop around. Justin is a legend and I never have to ask him to fix or trim hair he missed. He’s always on it. I’ve never met anyone more passionate about cutter hair, and that’s all you need to know.

I am disappointed because I was a regular customer with Rin, and I always really enjoyed the vibe of the shop and being able to get my hair done by a woman. Plus, there were two women so I had options if necessary! Over the last three weeks, both female barbers have been removed from the website. As such, I am no longer able to get my hair done at Boulder Barber and will be looking elsewhere.

Tran gave me a solid haircut. He’s also a great conversationalist! Definitely will be back!

Just got the best haircut in Boulder! I came in with my wife and 3 kids today after school. I was happy to find free and easy parking directly out front. Each of my kids took turns playing foosball and eating complimentary doughnuts while the other got a haircut. In the end, we walked out with 4 great haircuts, and at a great price to match! Even my son commented on the customer service saying how nice the staff was.

Adam is a good barber. But this review is about the management.First, Adam had a last minute commitment, so he changed the original appointment (on the day before my wedding) to the morning on the day of the wedding.On the day of my wedding, I called them to tell that I was running 5 minutes late, and they mentioned that Adam was sick, and they did not have me scheduled. But they could still get me in. I am never coming back!

I work with Fritz and he’s a super nice guy and a great barber that pays attention to the details. This place is so nice and friendly, if you have nothing going afterward, just take a seat and have a nice chat with the barbers or other customers that frequent this shop. Fantastic experience with barbers who really know their trade. I’ve got difficult curly hair and a beard, and Adam did an amazing job. If you’ve never had a professional beard trim/shaping, you are missing out. I didn’t know my beard could look this good and my wife definitely approved. Great people, great service, great price. The only spot in this town I’ll let someone get close to my face with scissors. Real barbers, surgically precise cuts, insanely good prices and just an all around solid local business. I’m from a big ol city so it’s always nice to find something authentic buried in the mayonnaise laden landscape of Boulder.

Adam is a good barber, and the owners wife is genuinely a nice person. However, Fitz will absolutely ruin your hair with no remorse, while venting to you about his drug addiction, and KT does not know barber basics such as using a straight razor or doing a lineup. Also, there were college aged dudes just hanging out daily with the 40+ year old owner, kinda felt a little creepy. If you go here, I would insist that you ask for Adam and eat literally all their donut holes because why else are they there...?

Ive been to this barber shop quite a bit over the past year or so, and normally I would typically rate it 5 stars without hesitation. I stopped by a few weeks ago for my normal cut, and had a new guy Ive never seen there before (30s, taller, muscular build, brown hair, and maybe with a beard?) cut my hair. His idea of just even up my side burns involved cutting them back completely; over an inch and a half. He also left many stray uneven/long hairs which I had to attempt to go back and trim myself. Not my typical experience here and Im not letting this experience turn me away from Boulder Barber, but I will definitely not have him cut my hair again.

Best haircut Ive ever gotten for an extremely affordable price--always get my hair cut by Rin, so I can only really speak for her, but she really cares about doing a great job, and I always get some awesome energy from her in addition to the haircuts. I love the whole vibe of the place--super comfortable and welcoming--good tunes, cool waiting space with snacks and coffee while you wait--a great experience in general. Definitely my recommendation for a Boulder haircut. 👍🏿

Nice trendy little barber shop. Was able to walk in with a group of 3 and get service pretty quickly. They had complimentary drinks like coffee/sparkling water plus a foosball table. They had 3 barbers on duty. My group utilized 2 of them, both of which did good jobs. Friendly, good chit chat, and definitely had skill and experience. Price was reasonable too. Definitely a good middle ground between something like sports clips and having a private barber. Worth noting all 3 hair cuts were guys. The staff consisted of 2 men and 1 woman that day

I encountered the owner today. I parked in front of the village coffee shop at 4:45pm to run to the tailor to pick up some items. I stepped out of my car and he said “don’t do that.” Didn’t look up from his phone, I didn’t know who he was addressing. “Do what?” “Park here. Read the sign, lady. Don’t break the law.” And proceeded to yell over me and call me an indecent, incompetent human. The sign he was referring to was posted on the village coffee shop window, a business that closed several hours earlier that day. A little kindness and asking politely could have gone a long way. I hope everyone avoids crossing paths with this irate human, who couldn’t muster up a moment of kindness. You never know what strangers are going through. These are the type of people who don’t deserve to be bullying others and picking fights - we are all suffering. I couldn’t believe the unnecessary verbal attack over something so trivial. Avoid supporting this horrible man.

If you’re a college student looking for more of a trendy haircut, avoid this place. They don’t know how to do fades. It’s meant for middle aged folks who don’t care as much. Plus, one of the barbers was a little rude and seemed “high” as he was cutting my hair.

Some of the barber shops I go to in town are great but a bit over priced and dont take walk-ins. I grew up in NY where good barber shops are a dime a dozen just like good pizza places and this place make me feel like Im back in NY. So far Ive been there once a month since they opened and I gotta say Im more then impressed with every aspect of this place. Ive had my hair cut by multiple people there and each time they did an amazing job! This is my new spot!

I tried Floyds and with no one waiting and only half their chairs occupied they told me nothing until Wednesday 8-21!Googled and luckily found this hidden jewel of a barbershop. Walked in and they offered me drinks and donuts! Fitz took care of me and I think and feel that I got my best haircut since Ive lived in Co (6 years) and my best shave ever. F... Floyds.
