Had two great hotels and one terrible one. Overall, the experience was more positive than negative. Here is my first review:POOR EXPERIENCE SO FAR. We booked Budapest, Vienna, and Prague trip that goes through 7/15. We paid for the upgraded hotels. In Vienna we are in a bad hotel and Go-Today is not doing anything about it. We are in a Roomz hotel - not near the city. There is no air conditioning and the windows are locked shut - when we called front desk about thermostat they told us it cant be adjusted. The wifi doesnt reach our room on the 2nd floor. There arent even glasses in the room to have a glass of water. No fridge, no shop to buy water or drinks, not even vending machines. The front desk wouldnt give us any recommendations for lunch, only their own restaurant. We paid for a 4-star hotel and got a 2-star at best. Oh - this morning the dining room was disgusting with 80% of the tables not cleaned in a very large room and most of the rest with visible crumbs and dirt on them. We called Go-Today and they said our only option was to book our own hotel now (last minute for tonight and tomorrow) and then fight with customer service when we get home and hope we can get a refund for these two nights.
Im still on hold with the customer service number after 30 minutes just to discuss a booking. No option to leave a message. They might be OK, but so far my experience has not been stressful, and its been less than hour. Ill keep looking.
We booked Paris and Barcelona with Michelle at Go-Today, flew out of Seattle 4 nights in each city. It was an amazing trip, flights were great, hotels were fantastic. The rate was super cheap, the whole trip cost as much as the flights if we booked direct through Delta Air.Paris Hotel was Comfort Inn Lamarack, very small rooms but the hotel was wonderful. Very close to subway station which made it only 20 mins to downtown. Fantastic cafe’s all around the hotel. Service from staff was great, rooms very clean. Some street noise the first night but Benjamin at the front desk was great and moved us for the last 3.Barcelona was Euro Hotel, close to the beach, about 6-7 blocks to subway, more room in this hotel but I would probably stay closer to Barcelona next time. Both hotels had amazing breakfast, fresh eggs, bacon, ham, fruits etc. Great way to start a day of sightseeing. We went with 2 couples and 4 teenage boys, boys had their own rooms which was fantastic.Overall this was a great trip and I can’t say enough good things about Go-Today. We had a few questions after the booking then closer to travel, they were very fast to email answers.
We bought a Groupon for a Go-Today trip to Chile that involved two full days of winery tours starting from Santiago Chile. Instead of full days we got half day tour. When we advised Go-Today of the discrepancy they blew us off, begged for more time, claimed they had to investigate, and then stopped responding to email. They will totally rip you off and then ignore you. Even the tours they actually provided were not that great. Dont bother with Go-Today, their customer service is horrible, youre better off planning your trip on your own.Update: well I guess a Google review got their attention, but their only response was to offer 10% off what I paid. They literally provided me a different trip than advertised, I flew over 5,000 miles to get there, and 10% is the amount they think will cover it. Terrible customer service and complete scam.
