Tooth Fairy Mobile has been a nightmare. If you call the office, you almost never can get anyone to answer the phone. On rare occasions that you get to speak with a person, you can only leave a message asking for someone to address a problem. You have to pay up front for the services, and try to get reimbursement from your dental insurance. Its impossible to get Tooth Fairy to submit the necessary claim forms and proper information to the insurance company for the claim to be processed and paid. They do not respond to e-mails, either. Avoid them.

Tooth Fairy Mobile is providing dental care for my Aunt, a 78 year old dementia patient in a nursing home. Due to her condition, I am present for encouragement at all appointments.The dentist and assistant are both kind and personable. They listen to her and work with her throughout the procedure.My major complaint is timeliness. My Aunts appointment window was 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm. They did not show until after 4 pm. No call from the service, nothing. I tried to reach the service several times after 3 pm, and finally got through to them just before 4 and was told they were on their way and would arrive shortly. This needs to change.

From the people in the office (Jada) to Jonathan who did his cleaning, everyone was an absolute delight. Dr. A and Kristen were so cute they even wore fairy wings! They were able to do his cleaning and extract teeth for him. We are so fortunate to have them make a house visit for our 80 year father in home hospice. Taking him to a dentist office was not possible. Doing this from the comfort of our own home was so helpful. We have just had a great experience with them, and absolutely recommend them. It took ages to schedule the appointment. Once they finally showed up they recommended we have them make two new dentures for my 93 year old mother. Her lower denture was only two months old and simply needed an adjustment. The Dr. I spoke with gave me complete attitude when speaking me. I will never use them again.

We signed up for this service and requested an appointment for my elderly, bed ridden father but never got a call back. We called again and finally got someone to schedule an appt for days later. I have asked for a copy of my bill several times before I pay for it showing the detail and have yet to receive it. Every time I ask for it or try to pay them I have explained that I am happy to pay for it once I see the bill. They always threaten to send me to collection if I don’t give them a credit card immediately at that time. I tell them that they cannot do that when I am not refusing to pay, I merely want to see the bill before I pay. This last time I spoke with the lady she said she was emailing it to me and verified my email address. I have checked my junk mail and still do not have this invoice. I’m appalled with the way they do business and wonder how many elderly people they have scammed with the threat of being sent to collections when they don’t even know what they are paying for. Just let me see the bill and I will be happy to pay as long as it is for what you told me it would be.

They are amazing. This is a great dental company with a great concept. Dr. Angelakis worked wonderfully with my five year old daughter. They came to my home and had all the equipment. The dentist and her team person were so friendly, they made my little girl feel so comfortable. They were gentle and made the entire process a positive feeling for my kid, setting a great foundation for future dentist appointments. I highly recommend them! More than five stars!!

Easy and cost effective process to schedule crown replacement for my mom at her assisted living facility. Mom has Parkinson’s with dementia and taking her to a dentist would be almost impossible. Thank goodness a company like Tooth Fairy Mobile dentist exists.

My 88 year old bed bound father was having tooth pain. Dr A and Crystal came to the house for an examination. They did x-rays and a tooth extraction. The surgery was over in minutes with no pain. They were wonderful, Professional, courteous and very sweet.The office staff are awesome too!I will definitely recommend them to everyone.

The worst company I have dealt in my life to the point of absurdity.Started a treatment plan where I was supposed to have received several cleanings that never came into fruition. Hygienist didnt show up for the initial appointment which was indicated in the appt description. I was told I needed to make another appt for her to come out (strange, but okay)For 3 months I was sent appt calendars to show my availability. After not hearing back for a month I said I was available (any) time even though I suffer from a severe neurological injury and am not always able to lift myself.I was willing to make anything work due to desperation.I have medical trauma so after not hearing back I asked my friend to call and see what the issue was. She called 3 times a week apart and they said theyd ask the hygienist. Nothing came of it.The two woman who did come to my house were professional and kind. But the system is ridiculous and cruel to housebound people who need help.Sad with no reason for it. Just call and tell people they are out of range. Communicate. This is entry level job stuff. From a place offering medical help its unacceptable.

They take great care of my mother. My mother has been scared of dental work, but she seems calm and content with Tooth Fairy Dental Service staff. Their staff is very friendly on the phone and willing to help or clear up any confusion. They have some scheduling issues that seem worse during the panademic. I am so thankful there is a service available to my mother in assisted living since she is not able to travel outside the facility.

I use this service for a home and bed bound patient, with advanced MS for about 18 months. What a game changer this has been. From a simple cleaning to complex crowns they TFMDS has done an outstanding job. Their MDs and technicians are professional. They have modern equipment and practice universal health precautions, as well as Covid specific requirements.

THIEF. Two years ago they filed my parents teeth down to stubs. They still have not put the new tooth in but they have our $3,000.00. The owner of the company will not return calls. Attorneys need to get involved and close this company.

WORST EXPERIENCE IMAGINABLE...AND TRAUMATIZING FOR MY ELDERLY PARENTS!Those of us who are responsible for the eldercare needs of our aging parents should listen to other people in the same situation, especially when it comes to experiences with various service providers. In our case, the first time dealing with The Tooth Fairy (TTF) was also our last. My parents Brookdale ALF had recently selected TTF as the only dental care provider permitted to come to their facility, so I scheduled an appointment window for TTF staff to come to the memory care floor to see both my parents during the morning, since my parents have dementia and both tend to be less anxious and more cogent earlier in the day than later, like so many in their situation. I took off work that day to be at the ALF that morning for my parents appointments, but when TTF personnel hadnt shown up or called by 12:15, I tried calling the office. No one answered and I was forced to leave a message. I finally talked to someone w/TTF almost two hours later, who told me they were running late and would be there soon. I tried to cancel or reschedule, but the appointments had been pre-paid ($225 ea) and I was told it would be non-refundable. The TTF personnel finally showed up a few minutes before 4pm and the entire experience was unpleasant and traumatizing. The TTF personnel were impatient, obviously tired, unequipped and had made ZERO arrangements with Brookdale in advance to have a proper location for the dental appointments. It was obvious the Brookdale memory care staff had never dealt with TTF before, but agreed to let them use an unused resident room, which contained nothing more than a folding chair and had no working plumbing. After waiting all day, both my parents were confused and anxious. My parents can hear and speak, but neither TTF employee would talk to them directly, instead telling me to ask them this or that. The actual dental exam was minimal and totally useless, especially in light of the fact that we had pre-paid $450 for these services. There wasnt as much as a written report provided by TTF, but I was so anxious to get my parents away from them, I didnt care. NEVER AGAIN!

If there were negative starts I would give several. The prize quoted was not the charge, submitting to the insurance company almost took an act of Congress. The final product (dentures) do not fit.

They were very friendly and service was great.

As the administrator of a memory care building, I was hesitant to allow another mobile dentist in due to past experiences in other buildings with dentists being a disaster. The Tooth Fairy Dentist has been in our building for over a year and I am extremely satisfied with the performance. The Tooth Fairy Dentist comes promptly each month to see our residents. Families of residents are are also very happy with the convenience and quality of care. It is MUCH easier than transporting residence to dental appointments.

So, the dentist that came out to see our special needs client did not even see a major problem that was so obvious upon inspection. I definitely do not recommend this place as this is gross incompetence. Also, I got spam email from someone using their website (or fake website) but how did they get my email address from them or link that I was a past customer? Very suspicious.

I have been using the tooth fairy mobile dentist for about 7 months for my mother with dementia. The dental hygienist comes to my home and cleans her teeth each month. She has shown me how to better give day to day brushing care - its not easy brushing someone elses teeth! She has also made suggestions, like using and electronic toothbrush, which has helped me do the best I can in caring for my mom. I am grateful for the help.

If I could give them -10 stars, I would. They rendered services at our Primary Care Physicians offices. The word HORRIBLE is not enough to emphasized how bad the service was. They were always late, they would pull out patients teeth without letting them know if the insurance would cover dentures, they would take impressions for new dentures in 1 appt and deliver them in the next appointment when it actually should take 4-6 appointments to complete the whole process(I know that because I am a foreign dentist), they would schedule 50 patients in 6 hours or 30 patients in 4 hours. Can you imagine a schedule where patients are seen every 5-15 min? Do you think an extraction, fillings or a cleaning can be done in that time? This is a complete scam!!!

My mother was referred to the Tooth Fairy by her nurse from Hospice. The dentist and technician arrived timely, provided an examination and X-rays in the privacy of her home. While somewhat costly, this group provides a much needed service when patient mobility is an issue. I also found them honest in their recommendations for follow-up care.

We can highly recommended this dentist, had a root canal job done while on vacation, professional and nice!

These people are collecting from Medicaid AND the patient. They are on the Liberty Dental Medicaid plan as a network provider and are supposed to accept Medicaid patients for the contracted rate...however they are trying to collect FULL payment from the Patient. I was asked for my credit card and told I had to pay $170 for a dental exam and cleaning for my disabled sister when in fact these services are fully covered by the Liberty Dental Medicaid Plan ...Tooth Fairy would not return calls regarding the matter when I complained. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD!

My special needs son was introduced to this service and it has become a complete scam. They never told him, or me, what the exorbitant fees would be!! We were told they were covered by Medicaid, a minimal amount was paid by Medicaid, and now the balance is due by a special needs individual with minimal income. The charges exceed over 4 times what Medicaid agreed to pay!!!! How can they get away with this???This is such a farce.When we received the large bill for x-rays I immediately called to cancel the next appointment … now I just received another bill for over $79 for cancellation charges….DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE unless you are aware of the price they will charge ahead of time. GET IT IN WRITING!!! They lie on the phone.

UPDATE: I used the Dental Hygenist service for my mom while she is in lock down for COVID-19 at the nursing home. It was a very good experience and I will use the service again. If they can smooth out there operations and get a couple of really good dentists, they could have it made.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I dont know who is writing the positive reviews, but it strikes me as a marketing setup, to counteract honest reviews.After taking my immobile and wheelchair bound 91 year old mother (with other limitations as well) to her regular dentist every three months for a few years, I decided to give Tooth Fairy Mobile Dental a try.1. Tooth Fairy required a visit from the dentist before I could schedule an appointment with the hygenist. $95.00 visit. $35.00 travel. $95.00 Xrays if needed. (A hygenist visit is $150.) I told them I would have my mothers regular dentist send Xrays, which he did. I could live with the $130.00 entrance fee if it meant my mom could have her teeth cleaned without traveling.2. A dentist (scraggly, seemingly bewildered) showed up with two assistants. One to do the Xrays. I reminded them they already had Xrays. The dentist had not reviewed them and then attempted to find them on his phone! I dont know if he found them or not. He made no mention of them or what he saw. He then looked at my mother from about 18-24 away and said she needed her teeth cleaned. That is, there was NO examination.3. When I finally looked at the charge, I saw they had billed my mother for Xrays she never had. It took over a week to get that resolved, but they did resolve it.4. The appointment my mother had with the hygenist was cancelled the day before due to the hygenists limited availability. They could not give me a reschedule date at that time. Two weeks and a day later I received a call that the hygenist could see my mother that week. In the meantime, not knowing if and when the hygenist would show up, I went through the ordeal of getting her to her regular dentist once again.5. I MAY try the hygenist for the next cleaning, if the scheduling works out. Presumably she (or he) will be more professional and competent than the dentist.

Eight (8) hours later, the dentist arrived.This was the first time the completed denture set was placed in her mouth for a fitting and mom was Unable to Close her Mouth Properly. The Dentist said to have her wear the dentures for awhile and if there was a problem to make a follow-up appt.I contacted Tooth Fairy via text message, as was their protocol, to schedule a follow-up appt; the following was my text message:‘GM Alyssa, the bottom denture does not fit properly; mom is unable to place her mandible in a naturally closed position. An assessment is needed and would appreciate the first available appt with either dentist. They charged over $800.00 to look in my elderly fathers mouth and do NOTHING. when we called to ask for a review, they said they would get back to us. We called over 10 times, no reply. They take your credit card up front and refuse to review services or bills with you. Terrible.

My father lost his denture while in the hospital was not able to eat and was losing weight. The dentist was able to see him within 24 hours of my call to the office and made him a new denture that fits like a glove - thank you for your help and your service.
