I truly appreciate Dr. Salazar, being for me during a serious dental emergency, she met late after business hours, I was a new patient and she still met me late on a Saturday, when all dentists are closed. She work so hard on my broken tooth, which was really bad and with a huge infection. I know after what she did for me I will be moving to her office, for all my dental needs. She was gentle, and very detailed with her work. She explained every step of what she was doing and took me out of pain, when no other office will see me until Monday. What a great dentist and her assistant Isa was great too and a sweetheart. She truly cares for her patients. Do not hesitate to call her for all your dental needs, as she knows how to do many procedures and the results I got are excellent! She is extremely professional, office is clean and nice, 100% recommend!

Had a great visit with them! Hadnt been to the dentist in a while, but they were very accommodating. Gabby took my X-rays and she was able to instruct me on how to hold still properly. I have been coming to this office for over a year now and is always a great experience. I have gotten a couple of cleanings, fillings and most recently they placed the permanent crowns on some implants that Dr. Salazar placed for me a few months ago.Both the dental hygienists that I have met are extremely nice. Maryana is super friendly and great at her job.When I got my tooth removed and implants were placed same day I felt no pain throughout the entire procedure. Dr. Salazar is very gentle. She really cares for her patients.Stop looking for other offices, trust me, this is the best one!

Came to this office recommended by a friend of mine. She told she has been to other dentists, and this one was by far the best dentist she has found in town, she has such a gentle touch, completely painless procedure, I ended up with a root canal that I had been postponing for so long because I have refused to take care of it, until the pain was so bad I ended up here. I dont regret it, she works fast and so far my results have been great, my post op visit went great, and I saved myself the trip to the endodontist which will have cause me double the price. Really the best dentist I ever went to. Dr. Salazar right away noticed an alarming amount of aggressive bone lose in my jaw that could lead me to having no teeth in a few decades (Im in my early twenties right now). I had no idea my teeth wiggling and gums bleeding from flossing was not normal because they were always like that for literally over 5 years. My last dentist did not notice anything, was painful doing minor cavity fillings, not informative, and didnt tell me much on how to take care of my teeth. Dr. Salazar right away was very concerned for my teeth from how bad the bone loss was, and was very informative telling me its usually not something Dentists look at for young people because of how uncommon it is. I got a deep cleaning to clean the deep pockets between my teeth and gums, she said it would stop my gums from bleeding when and I floss and they really did stop bleeding! Shes very true to her word and really knows what shes doing. Dr. Salazar and her team was very considerate finically and tried to give me the best prices when I have no dental insurance. They were all very honest and told the truth. During a deep cleaning and multiple major cavity fillings (two separate appointments) Dr. Salazar was very very good at make sure I was not in any pain. Shes very good at numbing my mouth. I really felt nothing despite having a lot of work done on my teeth, I felt like I could sleep during it from how comfortable I was. She also gave me a steep discount of several hundred dollars on my many cavity fillings, it was still a lot of money in the end but it was at least not full price. I really appreciate her doing the math in front of me too. She also saved one of my molars from becoming a root canal, it was almost infected to the root but she able save it and do a filling instead. She really really cares about her patients and I love her and her team.

I came in to this office a couple of years ago to get a second opinion from another dentist in the area who wanted to pull all my teeth. Dr. Salazar and her staff were welcoming and warm since day one. She is very conservative and takes the time to listen to your needs. She gave me a few treatment options were I could keep my teeth, which I still have until today with no problems. Rita the hygienist does a great cleaning, she always goes above and beyond to remove all the staining from my teeth. I highly recommend this office to anyone that wants a detailed and honest dentist.

I went to this practice, the doctor looks to be nice but she did not know I am a dentist in my country, she made me take a full mouth of x-rays and then told me I need a deep cleaning, because I have a periodontal disease (which is not true). she said my insurance does not cover the cleaning and I had to pay $900 dollars out of my pocket (I knew insurance cover deep cleaning and you do not to have to pay all that amount). the office is really dirty and you can tell that the office is not clean. I took my time to check how was the cleaning and the sterilization and she is not doing this job great. I do not recommend coming here

Finding new doctors when your living out of state for school is scary. I have previous work done to my mouth that was causing me pain from back home. I walked in to Best choice dental, 10 minutes before closing in pain that brought tears to my eyes. From the front desk staff to the dentist, Dr. Salazar, they welcomed me with open arms. They took in to consideration not only my pain but being a college student. I am so honored with how they treated me so welcoming even to the point of giving me a charger when my phone died.

Dr. Salazar is wonderful. Ive had such a great experience with her and her office. I first came in about six months ago after I called to ask for a next day emergency dentist visit which was a Saturday and they were so accommodating, Dr.Salazar came in specifically to help even though it was her day off. Since then Ive moved to Fort Lauderdale but I am still making the drive up for fillings and treatment because I like them so much and the work is excellent.

The experience here with Dr. Salazar was amazing. Personally, I don’t mind visiting the dentist, but today I was a bit worried because I had to get a wisdom tooth taken out. Fortunately Dr. Salazar and her team took me in with no appointment on an emergency case because the tooth was giving me a lot of pain. They pulled the tooth out quickly and effortlessly. SAVE YOUR TEETH AND DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!!I have been suffering from jaw & tooth pain for the past few days. I decided to go to this dentist, as it was close by my home and their website mentioned that I would be able to be seen that day. I showed up for my appointment and was automatically alarmed. They only had 2 people working there. A hygienist and the dentist. The hygienist took my X-rays and left multiple times to answer the phone. Eventually the actual dentist came to look at my teeth, barley even looked at them, tapped the with some tool, asked me what hurt and then automatically assumed that I needed a root canal that would cost 3,000 dollars. I knew this wasnt the case because I wasnt having localized pain and I have good oral hygine. I was confused and unsettled. I left crying. I legitimately felt like my health was being gambled for money. I went to get a second opinion at a more established dentist in Boca Raton, Dr. Ted Field. As soon as I came in to Dr. Fields practice I was automatically filed with relief. The atmosphere was welcoming and I felt at home. The receptionists and hygienists were super nice as well. Eventually Dr. Field got to see my teeth. After a cleaning, he told me that I absolutely DO NOT need a root canal, and in fact, the problem was as simple as grinding my teeth at night. He recommended a mouth guard and I already feel better. The doctor at First Choice Dental is still calling me trying to take my money for an unnecessary root canal. DO NOT GO HERE. LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!!!

I was recommended Dr. Salazar by my coworker. I had been having pain on my lower right for a while and I kept on going back to my previous dentist multiple times who adjusted my bite multiple times, gave me a night guard and the issue was never solved. Finally I decided to get a second opinion and by just looking at my X-rays Dr. Salazar was able to figure out the issue. She did some testing to confirm. She took the time to explain all the options to me. We started work same day and I didn’t have any more pain after that day. I highly recommend her and her staff!

I had to get an emergency wisdom tooth removal due to extreme pain after not having it done when it shouldve been. Dr. Salazar took me in right away and got everything done quickly and I had no pain at all during the procedure. After the fact, days after it was done they were always available no matter the time of day to answer any of my questions or concerns which was very much appreciated. If youre looking for a dentist that does great work, has excellent customer service and is very cost efficient, this is the place to go.

I set up appointment with a kind a receptionist and they saw me the next day wich happened to be the next available spot. I have been dealing with her for 1 year now and it has been a great experience each time . Nobody likes going to the dentist but there is a way about her that makes you feel relaxed. The end product is fantastic I never received more compliments on my teeth in my wife. If there ever was a problem ahead jumps on it right away no matter if its after hours or on the weekend. This place is questionable at best and fraudulent at worst.... stay away if possible. I came here to get a cleaning and was told that I had gum disease (at 26) and needed to pay $600 on top of what was covered by my insurance for scaling and root planning. I had been going to another dentist previously and they never told me I had gum disease or required a deep cleaning that I had to pay out of pocket for. I agreed to get the deep cleaning procedure (scaling and root planning) they recommended and after I left I decided to do my own research including reaching out to several other dentists in the area, sharing my x-rays and past history and they agreed that they would not have recommended the treatment Salazar recommended and would certainly not have charged me this. On top of this, the procedure itself took maybe 30 mins where deep cleaning procedures (what I paid for) typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour per quadrant (you have 4 quadrants in your mouth). Several other dentists told me this did not add up, especially the short time it took the dental hygienist. I felt completely taken advantage of after trusting the people in this office, especially the dentist. I would stay away from here and not trust the 5 star reviews (lies). Im not sure if this office was trying to makeup for losing some business during COVID but taking advantage of people is not right. They should be reported to the Board.

This is the worst dental office I have ever been to in my 60+ years life.The sign on the sidewalk in front of the office is misleading. It says $69 for X-Ray and cleaning. They charge $50 UPFRONT, the first time in my life I had to pay upfront for dental services. When you ask about $19 cleaning, they tell you that the final price depends on the hygienist evaluation.X-Ray. The young lady couldnt do it right. First of all, I had to ask for a shield, after she tried to take Xray unsuccessfully, dropped the holder on the floor and only after I said that this is it, she took me to another office for Xray by hygienist.The hygienist finally took the Xrays, did the cleaning, but not before Lora, the girl who tried to make Xrays before, was trying to collect from me UPFRONT $150 for it. The hygienist found 2 cavities which she reported to the dentist and the dentist immediately told me that I needed two crowns, at $1000+ each.The whole thing left so bad taste in my mouth that today I went to another dentist, whose assistant took Xrays in less than 2 mins, the doctor gave me full examination, including for mouth cancer and I scheduled another cleaning 3 months from now, as this was all I need.If you doubt the horror of my experience, go there and check for yourself.Best of luck, youll need it.P.S. Its popular nowadays to sue over bad reviews. Do that, and Ill subpoena all your records in search of the clients with stories similar to mine. I didnt put my children through the Harvard Law School for nothing.

Dr. Salazar is a thief. I paid $69 for X-rays and cleaning. She told me I needed a deep cleaning and charged and extra $51, kind of surprised me since my regular dentist says I do a great job cleaning my teeth. She also told me I needed 3 crowns replaced and veneers on my front teeth. Dont trust her at all.I went in to get my X-rays and the women at the front tried to charge me an extra $120. Obviously I didnt pick them up. Thief and liar!

Visited best choice for the first time last week, Dr. Salazar was very helpful explaining my dental concerns in depth, I had a deep cleaning, so far no issues, I had some additional questions and asked for the doctor to give me a call back, and she did right away. Staff was nice and professional. Definitely will be back for my regular dental cleanings in the future.

I have NEVER written about any doctor my entire life, but after having an emergency issue I felt compelled to write one about my experience with Dr Salazar . The doctor saw me @ 4 pm on a saturday afternoon after I had a tooth break in half and was in so much pain .The entire staff was so accommodating and compassionate .The Dr had to surgically remove the rest of my tooth and make a temporary bridge.She was good no pain and explained everything to me before doing anything .After I was done I went home and I received texts and calls from office to see how I was they go out of there way to check on there patients, about 9PM that night i was experiencing some real bad pain that I did not have earlier, so I text the Dr and she told me go right back to her office @ 9:30 PM on a SATURDAY night she fixed me right up .I have never been able to reach any Dr after hours let alone on a Saturday night .They are the best in my bookThank you Dr Salazar and your entire staffChris Canzona

For a long time Ive had a fear of the dentist and, but I finally found my dental home. From the moment I came in the whole team was very warm and welcoming. I had been to a few other cosmetic dentists, but I was recommended Dr. Salazar because I was told she was very gentle and affordable. I didnt feel the injection at all, all the work was done in two visits. They took the time to choose the right shade, shape, and all the details for my cosmetic veneers to come out perfect. I highly recommend Best Choice Dental to anyone who is looking for a cosmetic dentist and a friendly team.

I found Best Choice Dental after moving to Florida and am so disappointed. Dr. Salazar was nice, but she straight up lied to me. She proceeded to tell me that I had 5 cavities, 2 that needed to be treated right away. My red flags were going up at this point, since Ive only had two cavities in my life and theyve always been small. I also take care of my teeth and see a dentist every 6 months, so its not like my teeth were being neglected. I decided to trust her and let her drill the two that were so bad only, although she kept trying to convince me to do the others. She also told me that my bite was off, which again Ive never been told this before by any dentist. The whole thing was expensive and I left feeling like I was swindled and my teeth were drilled for nothing. I waited 6 months to write this review because I first wanted proof that I was right about not having cavities. Just got back from another dentist appointment with someone else and lo and behold, no cavities! He was in shock when I relayed to him the things Best Choice Dental told me. Im writing this because I felt that all the positive glowing reviews led me astray, and I think people should know whats going on in that office. If she will find something wrong and upcharge you on a regular cleaning, Im terrified of what she will find if you go in for major work.

I finally had to have my first dental work in entire life. My tooth cracked at noon, they took me in at 3 pm and at 5 away I went. WITH NO PAIN !! My final bridge was installed yesterday. They are amazing.

I had an issue with my crown that came off and they were able to fix it for me. The nurse is extremely nice and handled my teeth with care. They do a great job explaining things here. I have had horrible experiences with Dentist but I am please with their work.

The first time I went too Bestchoice Dental services in December 2019 and Dr. Salazar was very professional and kind to me! She stated to me that I can save your tooth with a root canal. She made her price affordable too me! And I have been going to her since! Finally, my mouth is better with no pain and I got all my teeth!

I have been to 7 different dentists in the 9 years I have been down here. And in the past 5 months since I have been going here, I am very happy with everything that has been done. They have managed to do 3 root canals and made it as easy and comfortable as possible. Very friendly and kind.

The staff in this office is just wonderful !!!! Since first moment I made an appointment with Danielle. To the last part of my treatment everything was just great. I have to start by saying that I am horrified of the dentist. Since I was little I had terrible experiences with many dentists, and very low tolerance for pain.I called on a Saturday and was able to make an appointment same day. I was only planning to have an x-ray to see how my wisdom tooth was coming in and if I would have room for it.I walked in and I was seen promptly. As soon as I saw the x-rays, I knew the tooth would need to be removed. It was sideways and very decayed. Instead of growing vertically like all of my other teeth this one was completely horizontal. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to take it out as I was scared of the possible pain and of course the expenses of the procedure. It was a lot for me to digest at the time, but Dr. Salazar was very patient and very good at explaining all the procedure and that made me feel very comfortable. Her staff was so compassionate and caring that I decided to give it a chance. The rates were affordable and they gave me a 6 month 0% interest payment option. Also, Dr. Salazar was able to do the extraction of all my wisdom teeth during the same visit and I didn’t even have to take any medication.Dr. Salazar made me feel extremely comfortable. (As I am a 29 year old that was crying like a baby at the mere thought of what was about to happen. I was surprised at how patient and caring they all were). Throughout the procedure I felt pressure but NEVER pain. The wonderful assistant held my hand throughout the whole procedure, and a few stitches later I was done.This has been by far the best experience I ever had with any dentist, and trust me I have had a few. I was in pain Sunday morning, so I decided I could not wait until Monday to see my regular dentist, I called best choice dentist to see if they could see me same day on a Sunday! which is rare to find, no dentist will see you since almost all are closed, but Dr Salazar was willing to arrange an apt to see me, Im so glad I did, I was in need of root canal that I had been postponing since I was afraid of having a root canal done, she was so gentle, and kind, and her staff was great, trying to make me as comfortable as possible, I did not even feel when she put the anesthesia injection, soon after my pain was gone! I will definitely be making the transition to this new office, I was never really pleased with the service at my old dentist, so Im glad I found my new dentist!

Dr. Salazar is the most patient caring dentist I have ever visited. The medical industry has unfortunately become a factory, with patients just being numbers, rather than people with names. Fortunately this is not the case when visiting Dr. Salazar’s dental practice! She is a kind, patient dentist that truly wants to know her patients, ensuring you are treated as an individual, rather than just a factory part number.My first experience with Dr. Salazar was on Saturday morning when I woke with a terrible toothache. She got me in right away and found my tooth was cracked and needed to be pulled. I normally get put under when having a tooth pulled, but she assured me there would be no pain. She took her time insuring I was completely numb before starting the process. She was right - NO PAIN!!That day I walked in afraid and in pain. I walked out with no pain and a temporary bridge which will be made permanent shortly. For the first time in my life I have found a dentist I trust and like. She 100% cares about her patient as a person.
