I want to be kind as the staff were nice and the establishment was clean, but the service and end result was just not what I expected. I scheduled a 4:30 appointment, and she didn’t get to me until 5. Then, she took a full hour to do a gel manicure by putting one coat on one nail and putting it under the light instead of doing one coat on all the nails on one hand at once. Ive never seen it done this way before but it takes way too long. I explicitly asked her to please leave the length as I’d been growing my nails out and I had at least 0.5-0.75 cms of length, but she buffed my nails down to my fingertips. I feel like my nails look like I’m about to graduate middle school. She also didn’t apply the polish to the ends of my nail bed on all of my nails which makes them look even stubbier. She took several phone calls while she did my nails which is no problem, but it was really frustrating that she took a phone call as I was waiting at the counter to pay and leave. I really wish I could rate this place higher and recommend it but I can’t and I’d recommend another spot even though T nails has great prices.

We came here since the nail girl in Mound changed to here. We both got pedicures and she got nails as well. Prices are good and service was stellar. The going lady doing my Pedi was great. I am very ticklish and she managed to keep me from jumping around to much. The atmosphere here is great as well. Its well worth the drive for us and we will be changing too this salon permanently.

Recently moved to Bloomington and needed a new nail salon! Got a gel pedicure and dip powder nails with a design. I have never had a nail technician (Katie) that has been so detail oriented, she spent so much time making sure my nails were beautiful, and they are! She was able to copy the nail art picture exactly. I will be back again!

Katie was awesome! Any time I go somewhere else for a full set, I’m never as happy with the result as I am here. Highly recommend even if it means driving farther past many other nail salons to get here.

Wrost place evet never got any service and had a appointment

I bought a Groupon for a gel manicure and paraffin wax hand treatment here about 2 months ago. I called in the morning and made a reservation and was seated and had a good manicure. In fact, the lady who did it did a terrific job, and Im pleased with that. She didnt seem to know I had a Groupon and asked me to pay (I mention this because I saw another reviewer said they were treated hastily when the manicurist knew she had a Groupon. Mine was the opposite- she literally took almost an hour and 15 mins so I was running late for work when I left). Because I was now running late as the mani was so long, I knew I didnt have time for the paraffin wax. Not a problem, because as soon as I said paraffin wax she said theyre not doing them now because of Covid. Um, I bought this Groupon two months ago, during Covid.After, when I went to pay, the Groupon app couldnt connect with the server for about 5 minutes. I offered repeatedly to screenshot it after I got to work or later when the app would be working better and they refused to accept that. The gal who did my nails deferred to her manager who started yelling at me while she was doing someones nails (!) that I had to pay cash! Like loud, and in her customers face. This went on for a bit as I was pretty shocked. I had already tipped and paid cash for the sales tax on the Groupon (super weird and never ever have I been charged tax on a Groupon before). Anyhow, the manager was yelling at me and I paid and got out of there. Was humiliating. As a business owner myself, I just cant believe someone would behave like this, not only not trust a customer who called, made a reservation, tipped in cash and brought cash for the tip to send in their Groupon screenshot later. Do they really think I would try to pull a fast one on them and show up AGAIN and try to redeem it? Ridiculous. Also, the manager was yelling at me that I should have hit redeem and taken a screenshot of the Groupon at home and brought that in. Im sorry, WHAT? Who does that? And also, you might have mentioned that when we talked on the phone that morning and I was making my reservation! I felt embarrassed for the gal who did my nails- because the manager was so extremely rude. I dont usually take the time to write bad reviews, but this experience today was awful.

This was my first time here and it was great! I’m very very particular when it comes to my nails and cuticles. My tech, Nick, listened to what I wanted and went back and reshaped a few of my nails that just didn’t look right to me. He gave me no pushed back (I’ve had that happen to me at other salons) and was friendly the entire time. I didn’t catch the name of the lady that did my pedicure - but it was one of the best pedicures I’ve have had in recent years. She wasn’t rushed, the warm mask, hot stones, and even pressure massage was beyond relaxing.I tried this place because it’s super close to my new house and I’m so glad I did!! I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for a perfect mani/pedi experience! were relaxed.

First time here and was very satisfied. They got us in at our booked time. At first my water was cold but they quickly addressed and warmed it perfect. Both my husband and I got pedicures and they were very nice and attentive offered beverages as well and made conversation. I got my nails done and fidnt like the first design so they accommodated to please me. My nails were done horribly at the last place I went and they made them great again were they look natural. And gave us a gift certificate because I forgot to tell them to apply a coupon I had. I definitely will return!

I always get nervous going to nail places, but this was hands-down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was friendly, professional, and my manicure and pedicure look beautiful!

I would not recommend this business. I used a Groupon and I was literally in and out in 40ish minutes. My tech seemed in a rush, (was not busy) not thorough, and not very friendly! I enjoy treating myself to Pedi’s, and look forward to a relaxing stress free environment. I did not feel that way whatsoever. Worst experience!!

I called to make an appointment after seeing them on Groupon, the woman asked me to purchase it through the salon Instead of Groupon and I originally agreed. I later realized I had Groupon credit I wanted to use and called back to ask if it was okay if I just got the Groupon ..I was told that was fine. So I drove for half an hour to get there and midway through soaking my feet some woman I assume is the manager made me leave because apparently whoever I spoke with on the phone didn’t let her know I would end up getting the Groupon and she stated I couldn’t use it because “they’re busy” when there was no other customers waiting ..just a super rude experience. I’m very frustrated I drove for an hour to get nothing

Horrible customer service. I called to set an appointment at 2pm over the phone. I told her my situation that I just needed my nails removed during my break at 2pm. I even called her back to ask how long it would take and we had set the appointment at 2pm, she repeated the time over the phone to me. It was clear and sound. When I walked in she told me it was set for 2:30pm. She didnt even apologize, or asked to reset. Only showed carelessness. Very unprofessional.

I went there last year and used groupon but I think the guy left, I still want to let people know that it is not ethical.I went with my mom to this place and it was the first time I get a manicure. The service was horrible, the guy was working on both of us at the same time and rushing us around, he even cut my finger because he was trying to get us out as quickly as possible. Then the lady was feeling bad for us so she joined in the last minute and worked a bit on our manicure.That guy was very rude like when I asked him questions he did not answer.I just don’t get it, if you don’t wanna do business then why accept appointments.We will never comeback there. Unprofessional people and take some band aids with you if you ever go there.

I’ve been getting my nails done with Katie at T nails! Every single time she does a fill my nails break off in less than a week! Her excuse for it constantly breaking off is because I want it long! I’ve gone to many different nail shops and never in my life had this happen nor do I feel like I should constantly have to pay to fix all the nails that broke off because they did such a poor job! After calling her and telling her about it she said I need to go somewhere else to fix it ! Makes no sense, you did such a horrible job on my fill that my nails was breaking off every single day and you want me to constantly pay to fix it when it hasn’t even been a week yet!!!! I do not recommend t nails very unprofessional and the quality sucks!

Today we visited for pedicure and a manicure there was a small wait but the relaxing atmosphere made for a great pedicure! The hot stones were wonderful!!

I used to go there past 3-4 years. One time I went with my 2 daughters to get pedicure done and since they couldn’t accommodate all of us I had let my daughters do it because I did not wanted to them to feel sad.Next times I called ahead of time, and still we had to wait 40-45 minutes before they even started.Yesterday when I called and expressed my concerns, since I am calling ahead of time I shouldn’t have to wait when I come there, lady over the phone told me “if I don’t like I can go somewhere else.”😐I am not going back there and not going recommend to anyone I know

T nails spa is a wonderful place to have a full mail and pedicure experience. I have been going for years. Youre offered a beverage and even a dessert (more around the holidays). The staff is great with their customers, they truly care about people. You will walk in and calming music is playing. Its a wonderful experience for men, women and children.

I have been coming here for the last couple of years. I was never a nail girl until just a few years ago. Katie has a cat eye color that I fell In love with and most of the time I keep coming back to that color.. but today I copied a neighbor I ran into.. they always treat me so well here. They make me laugh and I have a good time. I am a loyal customer.. ❤️

Took my mother here for a Mother’s Day surprise, using a Groupon for a gel pedicure with sea salt scrub ($40). The staff at T-Nails took extra care to ensure our toes looked great. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed! Thank you so much for a fantastic experience.

I found this place by accident with a groupon. I am so happy that I did. The staff are wonderful - so friendly and kind. The atmosphere is very relaxing - not super loud like some places. I did a mani-pedi (gel with hot stone treatment) and I absolutely loved the service! I loved the way Lee did my nails! The pedicure chairs were massage chairs, they offered a complementary drink, and the hot stone massage felt amazing! She was very careful with both my hands and feet. To top it off they did the paraffin treatment on my hands at no additional cost. I love the overall results and I will definitely be coming back here!

Worst customer service EVER!!! I do not recommend my hubby and I set an appointment at 4pm it’s now 4:49pm and they just started running the water for our pedis and he’s getting his but the person doing mine is still not here. They didn’t apologize for the wait or tell us how far the were running behind. Also they asked me to pick a color and the first one they said was $10 more, the second one I picked apparently the brush was bad, the third color I picked I was told I shouldn’t pick. I’m beyond annoyed I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you!First of all, this place has been my favorite go-to for a gel manicure for years. The manager and staff are always friendly and Ive never had an issue with wait times if I make an appointment first. The bummer is that my last 3 gel manicures have not been good... theyre lumpy and the edges have been messy (which has made them peel and not last as long) and I end up leaving disappointed, and this never used to be the case. Another bummer is that Ive brought friends here (because I used to love it) and they leave bummed about their nails too. This last time, the friend I brought told me I should go back and ask if they would fix my nails since they were obviously lumpy and uneven (my husband even noticed how uneven they were).The woman who had done them in the first place pretended she didnt see what was wrong. She was very short with me and to fix them, she lightly buffed the surface and put another clear coat on (this did not fix the problem as the lumps were huge and applying another coat only made this worse). She had to have known that they were still uneven. When she was done fixing them, the held them inches from my face - I said they were maybe a little better. She started putting things away, obviously not willing to try and continue to fix them even though they were not busy and there was no one else waiting, and I just got up and left because I didnt want to ask her to redo them again and make a scene. I should say that this is not always the case and some people are better than others (my friends nails were perfect). Maybe its just been bad luck for me but Im sad to say that after 3 second chances, I dont think I can go back here anymore.

Pedicure itself was ok but polish chipped within 2 days. For my finger nails I wanted a full set with gold glittery ombre tips. I really had to guide my nail tech on how to do the ombre, I didnt think that would be hard with glitter at all but I was wrong. Acrylics were laid on so thick I took them off myself after a week.

Friendly and very efficient. Beautiful result. Thorough and relaxing pedicure. Definitely would go back .

Low prices and very friendly staff! The drawback is that appointment times mean nothing to them. Repeatedly, a simple gel manicure has taken 2 hours. If thats worth saving $5 compared to other salons, then this is the place for you! Katie- please show more respect for the time of your clients!!

I have been to this salon a few times for both manicures and pedicures. I am finally reviewing this place because after my last manicure experience, I will never go back. Not only did the person helping me get up to use his phone multiple times (literally in the middle of every part of the manicure sequence), but he filed and shaped my nails so aggressively, that one of my fingers bled and is still painful the next day. The work was very sloppy, and I had to clean my cuticles and under my nail beds after he was done. Additionally, this is a gel manicure and one of my nails already chipped! There was zero attention to detail and this was, by far, the most disappointing experience I have had at a nail salon. I would not recommend this place.

Do not recommend.Hot Stone Pedicure: My hot stone lasted 15 seconds and did not receive a massage. Missed a nail so I have one long toe nail and missed scrubbing. Mentioned this to nail text and was not fixed.Gel Manicure: paint job was messy and had to do touch ups at home. Received a hot wax dip and sat there for 20 minutes with the wax on my hands until I realized my nail tech left. Did not receive a massage and had to put on my own lotion.

I always receive excellent service when I come to T Nails. Everyone is very pleasant there. I recommend all my friends to come here. I always get compliments on how well my nails look and are asked where I get them done.

Great place clean good price and nice people

My girlfriend and I went in on December 27th, they took us an hour before close which was amazing, but the quality of the work wasn’t great, the under part of almost every nail has big bumps under them that weren’t filed off, the actual filing job was not great.. the colors I chose turned out amazing, but within a few days I was noticing all kinds of flaws, paid $50 with a tip.. I’m due for a fill but am afraid to go back in, I fear being disrespected or treated unfairly.. unfortunate as I live two blocks from there 😩

Katie has been doing my nails for several years now, and she does an outstanding job! She has great attention to detail and truly takes pride in her work. Add to that, she is truly one of the kindest people you will meet! I highly recommend Katie and her staff at T-Nails!

Not recommended. We arrived for our 3:45 appointment at 3:10. We certainly did not expect to get in early, but we ended up leaving at 4:10 without receiving so much as an apology for their lateness. We respectfully inquired about how long we should expect to wait, and the response was a curt, “We’re almost done” without so much as a glance in our direction.As a former salon professional, I surveyed the shop and was disappointed to see how filthy it was: dirty, cracked, and chipped linoleum; filthy rugs; and a general lack of sanitary practices that one should expect in this industry (as mandated by the State Board of Cosmetology).I was also disappointed to see one of the worker’s young children running around the shop babysitting a customer’s child. The kids were rolling around on the ground, yelling for their mom, and running from outside to inside, causing quite the commotion in what should be a peaceful setting. This certainly was not the fault of the children as they were behaving like kids do. Their parents should have made appropriate arrangements for the workplace as such practices are, again, mandated and monitored by the Board.My mother-in-law and I will certainly not be revisiting this nail salon, but I sincerely hope this review will serve as a kickstart reminder of what it means to be in the service industry. I wish the owners the best.

Ive been going to T Nails for almost a year now and theyre great! Katie is the manager and she is the sweetest person and will always get me in when I need an appointment. They have a wide selection of colors including gel colors. Ive had all the girls do my mani/pedi and they are all great. I would recommend scheduling an appointment but they do take walk-Ins. My gel nails usually last about 4 weeks! They will always offer you some sort of drink, water or soda. Try them out!

Only wanted my toes painted, nothing special whatsoever. I was asked if I could wait 10 minutes and I replied yes. Another woman walked in about 5 minutes later and asked about a pedicure, she also was told about 10 minutes. The worker called her first and then told me to sit next to her. Guess who got helped first and who waited longer. I could say more about race and money but wont. I just know I will not return there.

This place was just okay. I had an appointment but that didnt really matter. Finally got in 30 minutes after my appointment time. Then the person doing my nails did a pretty rushed job. I had to ask her to redo the side where she missed the nail altogether and there is excess gel topcoat on a few of my nails. I had to come home and trim some of the excess topcoat myself.

I get manicures and pedicures since I was very young at least a couple times a month,so trust me,I KNOW !!This place should seriously not be in business!!! I have been there on an off a year and regardless of the day or time this people are ALWAYS BEYOND RUDE AND ALWAYS RUSHING! You are NOT greeted and a LOT of times they don’t even lift up their heads to look at you,either they don’t speak English or they hate their job and their clients,don’t even bother making an appointment cause your time is worth nothing to them,you just sit and wait while they’re on the phone taking care of 3 people at a time,they will rush and burn or freeze your feet,cut your nails whichever way they want and make your feet and hands bleed.It is very hard to believe anyone would write a good review about such a horrible,overpriced,dirty and extremely incompetent place. So don’t believe the FAKE good reviews,try it once yourself and then write what you REALLY thought about the so called service...you walk in feeling you’re intruding,you are treated as if they’re doing you a favor and your nails suck. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL!

First time and only time I came here I got a dip powder and it chipped within 24 days and so I came back to ask if they would redo it or refund my money and they refused to do either. They started yelling at me for even asking them to do so. The worst customer service I have ever seen. I never write reviews but this experience was so terrible everyone should know not to waste their money here. Go somewhere else.

I guess you get what you pay for . I bought a groupon for a gel manicure and pedi. The pedi wasn’t too bad but the gel manicure was horrible I felt like “ Le” did a horrible job on purpose because it was a groupon. Definitely won’t be going back and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

We went there for a mani-pedi and it was sub par at best. We were shuffled constantly between different people. The girls working would talk, look at us, and start laughing. None of them understood what we were asking for. The one technician told me my nails were dry and they were not. Got home and my toes were stuck to my sock. My nail polish had lifted off my fingers. Couldnt figure out why they were so cheap. Now I know. You literally get what you pay for.

Upon arrival, I was barely acknowledged. I was the only customer in the shop. Then, I asked where the colors were to chose from...hardly a response. I was not offered anything to drink, and the guy was on the phone the entire time. Uaually a gel mani/ reg pedi takes an hour. This took 1.5 hours. Ill never return deal or not. The chair was nice. There were fruit flies too.

I took a friend here to use her Groupon and there didnt get us when we walked in. They greeted they last who walked in a minute after us. A few minutes later we were told to sit at the pedicure startin without, still, asking went we were there. I tried to explain the Groupon and they looked confused. Left is sitting in the pedicure chairs for 20 min. the water got cold. When they started the only conversation or acknowledgement we got was a Hi, how are you. and then just silence. Once the toes were done I was brought over to the nail station. She placed my hands in the water and then waited not even a minute before grabbing my right hand and basically ripping off my cuticles! It hurt so much. She was also very bossy with how my hand was positioned. Like not at all gentle in guiding me how she needed my hand to be. I normally love getting my nails done, but this experience has me now looking into doing my own nails at home.

I asked them when would be the best time to come in for a pedi and they said 11:30am so I made an appointment for that time. Got there just before 11:30am, waited for 15mins before they asked me to sit in one of the chairs to soak my feet. Twelve oclock came around and they told me someone will be right with me as she was about to finish. 12:05pm, I motioned to leave and they once again told me that one of the ladies is almost done. 12:10pm, I left. Yes I waited 40 mins for nothing. If you have a lot of patience and time to waste.... this is the place for you.

Went to T Nails for a fill and pedicure. The tech Katie that did my pedicure did not remove dead skin from the bottoms of my feet. She spoke the entire time to other techs in vietnamese. I went for just a gel fill and was told I needed to get a complete new set of acrylics. My gel set was only 2 week old. When he was removing the gel nails he used a fake nail tip and ripped most of them off and damaged my real nail. After I said Ow 3 or 4 times he soaked off the rest. When filing the nail he cut my finger with file. We spoke to other techs the whole time in vietnamese. I think he only spoke about 5 words to me. When he was done with my nails he just got up and went to the cash register. They charged me $90.00. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!! The owner asked me to call to discuss my review. When I called she kept emphasizing that the process was correct. I tried to remind her the process was not the issue. The service and attitude were sub par. My nails look nice but the nail tech was ruff and the pedi tech didnt even remove the toe separators. I shouldnt of left a tip but I was afraid not to and was hoping they would treat other clients better.

So I went there for a hot stone pedicure and gel manicure via Groupon deal and the pedicure was nice But when we got there we had an appt and ended up having to wait a half an hour to be seen and the lady that did my nails took a long time to just paint my toes. I appreciate the care taken but then when doing my nails the lady started doing my nails and tried to do someone elses at the same time before I realized it i had been there two hours and literally had to end my appt early because it was clear they like to overbooked for the sake of getting the money even though the amount of staff does not meet that. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was chill and I liked my pedicure was nice which is why Im giving it 3 stars but the wait time is ridiculous. I prefer quality with efficiency. I did not leave satisfied since never got my manicure due to them taking forever and me having other places to be!

If I could put zero Stars I would. It took about an hour and a half to do a fill and she used a Dremel tool on my nails and my cuticles and I ended up bleeding because the nail tech was so aggressive. oh they also didnt clean the polish off my skin and a day later my fingers hurt. I cant even begin to explain how displeased I am.

Terrible they made me wait over an hr with an appt I scheduled. They were so rude when I was trying to pay. The salon itself is gross and dirty. The pedicure I got a French tip style and they design was all leaning off too much in one direction, and I only noticed when I was putting my stuff back on. It was too late to even fix. Started going here because of a Groupon, and now its the only nail salon I go to. Love it!

Even with appointment there was a wait time, then they seemed to speed through the whole mani-pedi and I ended up with a sub-par job on both. For the price I paid, Ill need to have both re-done very soon, so wont be returning there.

Has sign on door that says walk ins welcome. Have attempted to go three seperate times in the last month and have been told we are too busy... come back different day each time. They really should take that sign down

The staff is rude . My sister and I walked in, we were not greeted. We sat down because it was a little busy . Still no one greeted us . As this being the first time being in this nail shop I defintliey was not happy. I will not be returning .

Lynn is absolutely amazing.

Poor customer service and did not finish the job. I had an appointment at 2:30 and was not seen until 4:30. I felt that I was racially targeted and because of my race I did not get tested fair and like a customer. When asked to clean up my nails after a gel manicure the manager called the police on me.
