Both my daughter and I saw Sarah. She is absolutely great! My daughter (15) had a lot of color/bleach damage from experimenting at home and left with absolutely shiny hair. A week later I went in and felt totally heard while discussing what I would like for my cut. The cut and company was great! 10/10 would recommend Sarah!!!

It was a great time there! I love the whole experience. Im so mad I dont remember the girls name that did my hair, but she was amazing gave me some great advice about my hair and she straight my hair so beautiful. Its hard to find that right hair stylist for my hair 😭 but I finally found her just sadly I dont live in this area but whenever Im there I will definitely go to her!

After a couple of run arounds of nail salons around the Bronx. I found this one researching the best nail salons in the heights. I read all the reviews the good and the bad. Most of the bad reviews on here have to do with things that dont make any practical sense. Other than that my experience was great. They were very professional and kind. I appreciated how attentive they were right away. Their work ethic was also great. I enjoyed all the services. Alicia who did my feet was excellent. And the different lady that did my nails was very professional. They both did a great job. The space is luxurious kept clean and quiet. P.S. if youre getting a pedicure although its a couple of dollars more include the spa. Its all the way worth it.

LOVED my haircut from Amanda! Have never been to a salon I’ve loved very much or found a stylist I could trust. I think it’s safe to say I have finally found my salon! Amanda was so kind and took her time to make sure I was happy with my cut. I’ll be back :)

Great place for a guy to get a haircut. Allan does a great job and gets you in and out quickly. They also carry all the Aveda products you need and parking is very convenient.

Too notch salon and spa!

I came in and got my haircut, my hair stylist Sarah is great but I was waiting 40 minutes for my appointment for a haircut, I was really excited to get my haircut after so long but unfortunately I was waiting there standing for 40 mins. With a mask on that is not a great experience also when I got so many alerts saying to be on time for my appointment, but to get there and have to wait didnt realize minimize the covid exposure.

Have had 2/2 great experiences here! Highly recommend, I know I will keep coming back!

I did booked the appointment for Saturday 11 AM, it was snowy I did make it to the appointment with all the skiddy roads. After reaching out there, I was informed the appointment was cancelled and there is no way they can accommodate me. They informed they tried to call me 6 times, and I did showed my phone as obviously I didnt received it. I was planning for my hair style for the party that day evening which was totally messed up. Sarah Pearson is an Amazing Stylist. I had a full foil done and she did exactly what I wanted. She made sure my blonde was bright and white. Along with her amazing 18 years of talent(discovered that in our conversation) her professionalism and knowledge in the beauty industry will knock you out of this world.💣💥

I love my hair - it is super thick, has a lot of volume, and can be extremely difficult to style and cut, but James makes it work every time! I am so picky with my stylists, and I am so happy that I found someone I can go to, without being a nervous wreck.

I went to Max Salon a couple of weeks ago to get a trim & balayage. I’ve never gone lighter with my hair before and Meghan did a beautiful job easing me into color! My boyfriend also came along and got his hair cut by her (after exclusively going to Great Clips) and he is a changed man- he LOVES his hair now and is impressed with her precision and technique.The overall atmosphere was very cozy, with the receptionist offering us coffee/tea/water upon arrival and seating us by the fireplace. I absolutely recommend you check it out !!

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new salon. I was dreading it!! But I got lucky and found Max Salon & Spa simply by doing a Google search. Staff is friendly, salon is convenient, and prices are reasonable ~ especially for an Aveda salon in this area. Love, love, love my stylist Brittany!! So glad I found this gem. I would recommend it to anyone!!

Great atmosphere, and James is just the best!

My first experience at Max Salon was awesome! I was greeted as soon as I came in. Brittany was my stylist. For the longest time I have wanted to chop off my hair and return to a shorter look. I was so worried that a hairstylist would be concerned about making such a huge change but Brittany was super supportive and all for it! I brought in photos for reference which she used accordingly. Gone is my limp, mousy brown long hair and now I have a fresh, spunky pixie! Next time I come in Im also looking to get it colored. Thanks for such a great job Brittany!

The owner of the salon does not handle customer complaints in an appropriate way and does not care about keeping return customers. The stylists are lack luster and do not have the experience they claim to. Spend your money else where, do not trust these stylists with your hair. They clearly do not grasp the importance of a good haircut or the effect that a bad hair cut can have on an individual.

I had never been to an Aveda Salon before but heard that Jen was great so I stopped in for a cut and color and am so happy with the results. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. She also helped thin out some areas of my hair to help it curl better and stay out of my face which so stylist has ever suggested preciously but it helps a lot.

I went in for a bleach and tone and a cut. I got home and after a few days of just throwing it up when it was wet decided to actually do my hair. I went to curl my hair and found a large patch of hair in the crown of my head that is 10 inches shorter then the rest of my hair. I had think hair that would break hair ties and it was thinned out so bad with a “feather cut” that when I put it up it looks like I barely have any hair. To say that I am infuriated is a understatement. I stressed that I hate having my hair cut becuase it always gets ruined but understood with the bleach that we would have to trim off the ends. I didn’t know that I would be leaving with a clump of hair missing and it being so think it won’t even hold a curl. Do not go here I sent an email a few days after this happened and got no response so obviously they don’t care. If I could attach photos of before and after I would I have sent them to the salon as well

Great, I like this policy because I dont like it when I have to wait because the person before me was late. It would be even better if they followed this policy.I arrived early to ensure I was on time. My appointment was for 9:30, and I had checked in with the receptionist. By 9:40 I was still waiting and no one communicated to me anything, like the stylist is running late, had to take a phone, etc.

Great little hidden gem off Hwy 100/84th - if you work or live in the area, give this Aveda Salon & Spa a try. Kari and Sandra are amazing but all of the staff from the front desk to the owners are friendly and welcoming.

Booked a hair cut and style, and asked for my hair to be styled up due to the fact that I was going to an outdoor wedding and it was 90 degrees outside. My stylist asked me to show her a picture of a style I’d like, so I picked a casual low knot and she was able to put my hair up for me. Get to the desk to pay, only to be told that I was being charged $20 for a “formal” styling. Now I understand that an updo or formal wedding style is time consuming and is more expensive, but my ENTIRE appointment (including the consultation, wash, cut and style) took about 35 minutes. The style she gave me took all of 10 minutes. $20 extra for ten minutes of styling, when the appointment itself was supposed to include a style? Seems unnecessary.

Brittany was so wonderful!! I originally wanted a balayage, however she explained the difficulty it would be on not only the thickness of my hair, but also my color was already too light for what I wanted out of a balayage. Instead, she explained a full head of highlights will give a similar effect, and would also freshen me up for summer. She did a wonderful job on the highlights and my cut. She contributed ideas, explained everything, and was very personable. I will be going back to Brittany!

My favorite Stylist, James, always takes time to discuss my hair aspirations and works with me to create a plan to achieve the style I am aiming for.Prices are fair and honestly, with haircuts and beauty treatments- you get what you pay for! If youre cheap, its going to show. Spend some money on a quality haircut, professional waxing, and beauty treatments and youll look like a moviestar!

Best pedicure ever! Elyse is the best!

I have gone to this salon for years, but my last few experiences have been disappointing. Prices seem to keep going up, and upon arriving to one hair appointment, I was told the stylist no longer worked there and they must have accidentally missed calling me ahead of time. Less than an hour before my appointment today, I received a phone call saying it was canceled because the stylist “didn’t have enough time for it”. I think I will take my business elsewhere.

I needed a partial balayage and had heard good things about this salon. In the end my hair is not at all how it should be and I feel like they were not truthful with the cost. I was quoted around $70 for a partial balayage and ended up paying $99. They charged me $30 for the toner and did not inform me of this beforehand. In fact, everywhere else I’ve gone has never charged me for toner before. When you leave a salon you want to feel like you got what you needed and wanted. This was not the case. My stylist said, “Don’t worry about the toner, it will fade with washing.” Um, pieces of my hair were grayish-blue! My hair now looks like it was all colored light blonde (not at all like a balayage should look) except for 1 1/2 inches of my roots. It looks like I have let it grow out and need it redone! I like a super natural look and typically get my hair colored 2 times a year. I now need to go and have another colorist fix this mess! Very disappointed and will not be back.
