What a disrespectful nail technician. I was waiting patiently for an a hour to get my nails removal. Another client walked in, who needed pedicure which causes a lot of money then nails remove. And they literally started for her while I was still waiting.Don’t ever waste yo money this mystic nails. 😏

We should have walked out after walking in. Im sure the owner is trying to hold onto this place, but sometimes its just time. Outdated decor, everything is falling apart, broken furniture, 80s look (and not the new trendy 80s), HORRIBLE lighting, dirty/unclean spaces, etc. My daughter and I got manicures... no lotion or oils added, no hand massage, etc. One lady started to put designs on my daughters fingernails without asking - my daughter did not want them. We def will never visit again. They seemed to not care that we were there or for our business. They def didnt care about building a relationship or engaging with us.. Its either time to update or close the doors.

I love this place! They are so friendly here, prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

I go hear every time to get my nails done and i’m in middle school, all of the reviews i am seeing is not true because i have been going here for almost over a year and have had great experience, and nails have always turned out amazing.

Great service for such reasonable prices I will be visiting the shop on the regular.

Pedicure was not bad but the polish was probably so old that they put something in it to thin it out with the result being that it started chipping the next day and after 4 days it looked like it was a month old! this is not typical for OPI polish. i should have gone back right away but i didnt have time. whats worse was that after she sat me down at the nail dryer, i gave her a $20 bill with the intentions of giving her 10 of that for a tip but she smiled, thanked me and quickly moved on to the next client. i didnt hear a lot of English so i figured it wouldnt be easy to ask for 10 dollars back, after the fact. probably wont go back.

Just got back from Mystic Nail this morning (6/9/17). Went for a pedicure. Jenny was the tech who did my pedicure and it was probably one of the best pedicures Ive had. I dont get my nails done a lot (Im too cheap), but when I stubbed my big toe and tore the nail, I went in to get some acrylic added to the toe nail to make it look more normal. Jenny did a phenomenal job. I really loved the nail color I chose and told her I wanted to take a picture of the bottle and color. Was having a hard time getting the right shot and she took my camera and took the photo for me. The salon itself is in need of a little update, but its not bad and probably better than most of the quickie nail salons Ive been to. None of them are perfect, but the main thing I look for is someone who can do a great job on your nails. Everyone there was super nice and I will certainly return in the future.

They were so kind to do my bothmy pedicure and manicure.. It was honestly so goood for a first day here. I am sure to go back here again.

The owners are beyond rude and inconsiderate to the employees. Ive been going to Jenny for over 6 years and only go there because of her. She used to work at another salon and does an amazing job. The owners yelled at her for me calling her phone to make an appointment. I dont think they realize I go there for her, not them and I go there because she started working there. I went in last night and they got an attitude because i was till getting my nails done at 8:30 and the owners client finished just 10 minutes in front of me. She was rushing us and making annoying noises about it taking time for my nails to dry. She is so unprofessional and inconsiderate. Id give them one star, but I adore Jen. Its so hard for me to go in there. So If you do go in there request Jen and if they say she cant I suggest just leaving. Shes super busy so an appointment may be needed.

Only place Ill get my nails done.

My daughter and I (and her friends, and even her grandmother) have been going to Mystic for a couple years now and we always have a fantastic experience! We do both manicures and pedicures (the luxury pedicures are awesome). The ladies are always so welcoming and accommodating, and will do whatever you want. Its surprising to hear the two bad reviews on here since everyone we know has always had a great experience with Mystic. I guess some bored housewives with their fake coupons are just hard to please. We give Mystic 5 stars!

Im a regular customer at Mystic Nail...my wife gets both manicures and pedicures...I get pedicures. I appreciate the great service the young ladies do...they are aways happy to see us come through the door!!! Jennifer is very impressive and easy to talk with!!!

Very rude nail lady, she kept mocking me every time I asked for something. I told her I want long pointy nails and she said “no you don’t want that” then she proceeds to do my nails how SHE wants. And instead of shaping the nail first she put a thick layer of acrylic and then filed my nails to a “point” which isn’t even pointy and it hurt so bad and none of my nails are the same length and she also did my toes and my toes look so bad it’s upsetting she didn’t even paint my whole big toe nail. I paid 80 dollars to get my nails and toes done for prom and it was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had w a nail lady. It was very unprofessional and I wasted a lot of money and she wouldn’t even fix it to how I wanted it. Completely forgot to mention these nails are not smooth and they’re All crooked and shaped terribly. I wish I could give zero stars bc they don’t even deserve the one

Did a walk in and the gal was cranky! She was fighting with another lady and it was very unprofessional! You go to a nail salon to relax, not hear bickering! I walked out and went to Tammy’s nails down the road. Did not have to wait and got perfect nails!

They are very sweet and always do a great job. I have no complaints at all. They also wax eyebrows and do a beautiful job.

Just moved and closest salon to where I live, they did a great job! I’ll be back.

My wife and I went to Mystic Nail on a whim today. We both wanted to get pedicures and manicures before we went on a trip. We walked into the salon and were pleasantly greeted by the ladies working there. Along with what seemed one of their daughters. I was very happy that it was a family environment and we decided to have the services done. *** This is where things took a turn. My wife is a cosmetologist who has many years of experience in salons and she was immediately repulsed by the lack of sanitary procedures followed by the gals. They were using gloves (good thing), but they took there hands after doing our nails and scooped up the scrub with there hands. According to the Board of Cosmetology this is a BIG no-no. They also used a metal rasp to clean off callused skin. Another BoC no-no! I could not believe their lack of care for making sure things were done by the book. To top of the whole experience the gal doing my pedicure BROKE my cell phone screen. She tried to help me get out of my chair however she knocked my cell phone off of the table next to us and my phone fell and the screen broke. I kept my cool, but she immediatly said the phone was in my pocket and then asked to see it. She saw that it had broken and snickered... I wasnt expecting anything, but an apology and got none. She didnt seem to have a worry in the world. I was not offered anything. No discount. Nothing. My wife and I are completely disappointed in this place and will never return. We are writing a complaint to the Board of Cosmetology and also directly to the City of Bloomington. The lack of cleanliness in this facility is repulsive.

How are these people still in business, there extremely RUDE Its like a Domino affect. They feed off who can be the rudest. Bonnie did my nails and abruptly got up with out notice to do someone elses nails. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS -0 STAR

My husband purchased a $35 gift certificate for me to get my nails done. I went in to get them done and they refused the gift certificate stating they didnt write in pen and the paper was a different thickness; they said we must have reproduced it some how and refused to give me a refund. I pointed out it was the same exact paper as the other gift certificates sitting on the counter and my certificate said Mysic Nails 820 W. 98th St. Bloomington. Dont waste your money here, as it looks like they will take your money but not give you service.
