It was great Id never been before and they offered me a Free MVP experience which was nice and the stylist did a great job on my hair.

I love this barber shop. Has the feel of an old school shop with flat screen tvs. Ron cut my hair and does a fantastic job. Super nice. The MVP is worth the extra five bucks.

Ron who claims he is a manager did a very poor job at cutting my hair and when I had time to get it fixed refused to do so, I could have done a better job cutting it myself in the mirror. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody they lost my business

My boyfriend got a haircut there yesterday and the lady that cut his hair was named Amanda. She got it done very quickly but after we left we noticed it was so uneven! And one side was longer than the other. If you go there for a high fade haircut I don’t suggest letting Amanda cut your hair! That is all.

We live 35 miles from Sports Clips Bloomington. I donate blood through Red Cross. Both Sports Clips and Red Cross offer a free haircut for donations. This is my annual visit to Sports Clips. We make a day of it. AN OUTSTANDING HAIRCUT, shopping and dinner. Thank you Sports Clips and Red Cross.

The woman cutting my husbands hair cut his mask..nice cloth mask. She broke it. She cut his hair very unevenly in the front. The right side was longer than the left. Then, she offered to trim his beard because of the mask, and it looks awful in that it is also uneven and very noticeable. Our 4 year old son also got his hair cut, and they were not patient. They ended up using trimmers and completely buzzing it off, which we could do at home. I am not that particular about hair, but this was probably the worst experience they have had. We will not be back.

For the love of God never let Tanisha cut your hair. It is completely butchered she shared my one year way further out than the other one. Plus I was in there for about an hour and a half

Solid, but usually just barely a little off. Asked for a specific cut several times and they usually give me the default bro cut. Its fine cause it grows out in a week, but still just a little off. Worth the price though

This place is great. Several of my co-workers and I get our haircuts here and the staff is always friendly and consistently do a great job. Best place in Bloomington to get a haircut. Management and employees have been there a long time and are professional. Theresa cuts my hair and is amazing. A+ across the board!

Good service and great barbers. Attentive to requests and work well with all hair types.Only downside to this place is the wait times. If you dont check in with the app first you could wait up to an hour or more before being seated.

Ive never had a bad experience yet. The only thing i suggest is to sign in online. It gives you the estimate time until it is your turn if there is a wait so youre not sitting in there for a while during their peak hours. If you get the shampoo, youre able to prolong your scalp massage for only $5 which is kinda low-key but amazing. It is kind of hard to get a specific stylist since theyre retention is rather fast.

I went to this Sports Clips for 5 haircuts. When I went in each time I asked for a 4 on the sides, blend it to a 5 near the top. I have a part in my hair but I dont want the part cut in, just blended from a 4 to a 5. On top, take a quarter inch off, and square the neckline. Out of the 5 times I went, 0 times did I get the perfect cut.

First time I got my hair cut the last thing the lady said was “I did the best I could”.. then the second time I went in, the guy barely looked at my head while cutting it, didn’t give me what I asked. They were very nice, but they lack in skill.. I made another appointment with a different place to get this fixed up lol

Short wait time, in and out in 30 minutes! Sienna is an easy going stylist who made the process fun and simple. Told her what kind of style I preferred and she made great recommendations along the way. Feeling refreshed and I highly encourage future clients to ask for Sienna! Great price and thank you again!

Loved my daughters short pixie cut they were able to do for as weve had a regular salon 💇✂ cut it this way in the past & were not very pleased with the results & also we found that w/any & all short cuts pixies or above shoulders and or even long pixie etc. We ran into the same issue with them not quite understanding what we wanted or where asking for due to the shortniess/being more of a male, & or unfamiliar cut & w/ Great Clips & or Sports Clips they were more than welcoming and more than happy to cut ✂ her hair when my spouse & son went they did hers as well & it looks FABULOUS & WAS EXACTLY ON POINT

Good haircut, but terrible online customer service. Emailed through their contact page and never received a response. Also, they can alter your wait time at any time even if you use the app to check in. They will allow people to jump in front of you on the wait list.

The stylist here is lazy and lacks professionalism. I told them that the hair looked uneven. And she just kept using her trimmer over it, instead of the scissors to even it out. She even cut my sideburns short, without even asking.

Honestly, this place is very hit or miss The haircut I received today wasnt worth the price. I should have gone to a random $15 or less haircut place for the same quality product. Back of the head looks fine, front... looks like the stylist was blindfolded or simply inept. The side dont look even. Lucky Im able to fix it at home with 10mins in the bathroom.

Took my son aiymeer there that was his third hair cut and the stylist ebony did AMAZING literally he loved her more then me i was skeptical because I wanted to make sure the stylist new how to do African American hair and she NAILED MY SONS HAIR go see EBONY

I like that they cut my hair even though Im a girl. It makes it easier because my husband, son and I can all get our haircut at once. Its cheaper than going to a more traditional salon, and they have more experience with shaving and the sort of detail work I like for funky haircuts.

In short, I waited two hours to get a haircut that I could have done on my own at home. There were only four customers in the shop and the two employees somehow managed to soak up 2 hours before getting to me. Once in the chair, my hair was butchered with a trimmer and cut with zero precision. I would not recommend this franchise to anyone. Thank god I had a free haircut coupon.

This place is terrible for the price. Their staff is very uncooperative and wants to get done with you in as few minutes as possible, doesnt matter whether you like the haircut or not (this is not based on just one experience, Ive been there at least three times and this has happened every time). This time, however, I did not like the length of my hair that the stylist kept so I asked him to just cut a little bit more and he went inside apparently to get a clipper, but five to seven minutes later he comes with another styli who informa me that they would charge me for another haircut because now this haircut is done. Later when I asked them about their customer service, they changed their words saying that they wouldve charged me for the detailing (this is after they had charger me 20$ for the haircut already). So beware when you go inside, and be ready to be robbed.

This is where I take my little guys (5 & 7). Guys of all ages go there. I 1st took my 7-year-old after another place cut my 5-year-olds hair too short - even though I was very explicit, & even showed her pictures. The stylist here actually listened to what I wanted, & did a great job. I had to take my 7-year-old back not long after that because hed taken scissors to his own hair. Once again, they did a great job. Unfortunately, theres always a wait, & theres nothing there to keep a little guys attention (besides getting into stuff). So, bring a toy, book, etc., for them while you wait.

The side of my head looked like a staircase I asked for a mid fade and sadly got sent to the gulag and had to pay 25$ for a terrible haircut then went to another barber to get it fixed for 15$ stay away please they even knew I was in the military and still butchered me

I woke up this morning with one goal: get a mullet. the mullet is a simple cut- business in the front, party in the back. i had been working on my “party in the back” for the better part of 6 months. half way through my haircut the stylist literally said, “i’m sorry, but i butchered this cut” not what ya wanna hear when you’re tryna get right. imagine having your thunder stolen like this, thinking you’re gonna leave that place lookin like an untamed 90s Stamos, but you leave looking like Pee Wee Herman. consider my thunder stolen.

I had a really awesome hair cut and the hair stylist was really nice however when the cut was finished I was also wanting my beard lined up and trimmed a slight bit. The end result is somthing I am still upset about days later. The left side of my beard is now thinner and shorter than my right side and looks lopsided. I expressed my dislike and all that was offered was to trim the other side to match, which I delcined as I wanted no further damage to my beard. A great place for a haircut and really nice stylists just do not EVER go there for beard work!

I would love to give a good review of this Sports Clips, however after going three times, the overall grade is a C-. Staff is friendly, however the quality of my haircuts have not been great. Its as if the staff understand basic haircuts, but when it comes to describing how you want your hair to look, if it does not fit into a basic style, like crew cut or flat top, what you will end up getting is a mediocre haircut with to much hair taken off. Plus they have an over reliance on clippers instead of sheers, which always results in more hair being taken off then desired.My recommendation is to explain what you want and ask the staff to go slowly. Also make sure you are looking at the mirror and not the TVs when you are getting your hair cut, and do not be afraid to tell her to stop, or express yourself vice ending up with a haircut you dont like.

Be a nice place to open up a barber shop, don’t bother stopping by unless you’ve got at least an hour or more to wait. It’s truly unfortunate that this place can’t do appointments or call ahead, you’ll have 15 people waiting and maybe two “stylists” working, but the services match the quality provided, which is none. They try to polish it up my providing massages and hair washing, come on you’re not fooling anyone with those gimmicks, a half-assed shampoo and a quick run over with some cheap vibrator, yeah that constitutes the extra money and time. I would rank this place right down there with Wal-Mart and Fantastic Sams, I can’t really even say I would suggest this place as a last resort...

Went in on Sat Dec 30th 2017 and only 3 people working. Computer said 45 minute wait. Staff moving super slow and not seeming to get that there were many people waiting. After an hour with no hope of being called, this is the last straw...done with this location and with Sports Clips. Btw, if youre going to market yourself to guys and as a sports place, put HD sports on your big screen. No one wants to watch sports in SD let alone in 2017/2018.
