Office staff is super professional and the maintenance crew is quick to respond to requests. I love my raised bed in the organic garden and the nature surrounding the whole complex is a total delight! The pool is open early May through late September which is two months longer than the public pools. I moved in last year on the Saturday of Little 500 weekend and never heard one peep out of my neighbors! A very courteous community.
I have lived at this complex for over 2 years and our experience has been nothing short of great. Conveniently located in College Mall with quick and easy access to shops. We have two dogs and this complex is very dog friendly! The staff and maintenance are very accommodating and give quick resolution to any issues.
Mostly great. Convenient location, reasonably priced, timely maintenance... Could improve the online portal so that residents can get alerts when the rent is due. But other than that, this place is awesome.
Beautiful apartments in a lovely, wooded area. The apartments are quiet - new buildings with lots of natural light. Its conveniently close to College Mall, but still has a private atmosphere. Management is very responsive and friendly.
Lived here for 2.5 years and loved living at woods at latimer. Very Quiet.Maintenance crews were awesome and the office people respond very quick. I never had to call twice to fix my problem. They also did not my steal my deposit like any other typical apartments in Bloomington. I was not able to get all of my deposit but they fully explain why they had to take it off from my deposit and i fully agree. It has been more than a year since i left this place and i still miss my home.
Very nice apartments with great support from Abodes, Inc. The apartment itself was spacious and modern, and the complex was very quiet. Abodes employees were incredibly helpful throughout the time that I leased with them, and were just as accommodating for both my moving in and out of my apartment.
I lived there in a 1 br 1 bath no garage apartment with my partner for a year. If we hadn’t been moving out of town, we would’ve reneud our lease without much second thought. While the Woods is expensive, I think for the Bloomington market, it’s a good price considering what you get. The way the Woods is built and styled made it super easy to call home. My favorite part of our apartment had to be the MASSIVE bathtubs. I miss it already!Management was always super nice and maintained clear communication. Maintenance always responded quickly. We just got our deposit back, and they sent us not only the move-out report but also all the receipts from the cleaning and repairing services to show exactly where some of the deposit money went.Very pet friendly. Lots of our neighbors had dogs, and we had one cat with us.Very quiet, at least on our side. People who lived there were from all age groups, but I’d say most (from our experience) were post-college-age folks. If you do live here, my ONE COMPLAINT that should be kept in mind is that the communal washer and dryer areas suck. Don’t use them. They never cleaned my clothes, and they take quarters. Half of them are broken all the time, and no matter how many maintenance requests I made, they always ended up breaking again. You can buy your own washer and dryer and have it installed in your unit. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing this.Overall though, we really enjoyed our time at the Woods at Latimer and would definitely recommend it!
Convenient location. Reasonably priced. Not fancy but clean. Corteous and helpful staff.
They are not flexible at all with move out dates (wont let us extend 1 day). They lost track of our rent one month and accused us of not paying when we paid an entire month early. Ive never stayed at an apartment that gives so many tours of our unit without much notice and you have zero say if they enter your apartment. Not worth the rent either, our appliances are pretty terrible (super loud fridge and dishwasher, garbage disposal doesnt work, and toilet has broken twice).
Very nice apartments. Cost more but you can see where the money goes.
