I had a mess from remodeling of a bathroom. Dust, dirt, in bath, hall, and master bedroom. Three hours later, beautiful! Walls cleaned, floors cleaned, furniture polished. I will be using this service again. Im 70 years old with health issues and deep cleaning is just beyond me. Harris was great!

In the past 25 years, Ive had only poor cleanings of my wall-to-wall areas, and so when my cleaning person recommended Harris, I felt I had nothing to loose. The experience was PERFECT from the initial friendly phone call to cleaning, and bill paying. Brent and Brian helped me move a few unwieldy items and went to work. The cream colored carpets were spotless when finished (there were various dog stains, 1 VERY dark). I will use Harris for ALL my cleaning needs in the future!

We contacted Harris due to water damage in our home after talking with our insurance agent. They came out right away, dried everything out and immediately started working with us on how the repair process would work. Ive used Harris Services for nearly 10 years--theyve been a lifesaver for us! Harris cleans carpets meticulously AND unfortunately, has helped us restore our basement office from water damage. Nobody wants to have a water leak, but if you do have one, call Harris for dependable and courteous service. They made the whole process a lot less stressful because they are experienced and their technicians and office staff are easy to talk to and very knowledgeable.

We had Harris Services do some interior work-floor and walls. Found them to do excellent work, and recommended them to neighbor who needed water damage floor repair. She, too, was very happy with their work.

I used Harris Services for carpet cleaning. I felt that they handled the entire process very professionally. They always stayed in touch with me and continuously followed up.

I really wish if Google offers minus stars so I can give them minus five stars. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I swear they lied to me. They give me an estimation to install my mail box. Their man came and saw the location and give me an estimation of $100 then when he got to his office, his manager called and told me the estimation is $157. I told her this is unprofessional. She said this is it. Then when they came on the next day their manager contacted me agin to tell me that they would do it for $250. I really got mad because their unprofessional way to deal with people and changing the price to twist my hands. I had to agree since I had no time and choice. She laughed at me when I expressed my anger with disrespectfully way.The other experience is I gave them at the same time with installing my mail box my carpet to clean it up. They took $50, I swear that I got it back with the same condition of dirt that they took it at. I will never contact them again to do any thing in my house as well as I will never trust their work or estimation. Dont wast your money, time, and pressure. I really doubt the other reviews.

Their website goes on and on about great customer service but that is not what we experienced at all. Plans were made to handle the job then the owner got in the mix and changed the flow of the work. Before they got started my husband needed to take out the tub in the master bath so he could replace it with a walk-in for my father in law. For what ever reason that made the owner mad and he called to express his feelings. They weren’t even suppose to start work for another 4-5 days. There is a lot more to this story but I will stop. I am so upset with their unprofessionalism! This is the first time that I have ever given a negative review to anyone but this was over the top.

Harris Services is great they are always make things so clean, they are punctual and able to complete a lot of different tasks with employees that know what they are doing. They are also very responsive to the individual needs that we had.

This company came out to give me a quote a month ago and still has yet to return the estimate to me. I have called twice to inquire about ti and both times I encountered an unfriendly and combative person on the line (who said she was the owner) who at first told me a week to get my estimate. When I called to follow up, I was told that I would have to wait another month to get it.!?! I asked if they could just get it to me quickly since I had already waited the said week and she then told me that people have been waiting since JULY! I cannot imagine! Dont waste your time with these guys. It is just a run-around and frustration-inducing experience.

Harris looks at individual situations and makes suggestions. This was the case for when they came to estimate a few projects for me. The did such a great job.

I hired Harris to steam clean my carpets and it was the most I have ever paid for the service, over $300 for just the traffic areas of a not very big house, and it looked exactly the same after as before. They didnt get any stains out, didnt look like they even tried. I have a carpet shampooer and do it myself periodically, but thought the steam cleaning equipment would do a superior job. I was very wrong- shoddy, disappointing work. Never again.

They will respond promptly, but will charge you 2x or more what you agree to and - if you take issue with this - attempt to shift the costs to others (such as your tenants). (Long story below.)I was a tenant - renter, not owner - at an apartment in which the AC unit began leaking excessively. We contacted Harris with the intent of simply remediating the problem to the extent $500.00 would cover, a simple extraction and dehumidification process. They responded promptly (which is good) and agreed to this over the phone with my landlord, and expressed inability to - before the work began - provide a rigorous estimate of the cost. They did, however, agree that the work could conclude regardless of completion once the $500 cost had been exceeded. It is not unreasonable to expect they know how much labor costs per hour (they charge by it and other factors they know, after all) such that we assumed the agreement was reasonable.They then presented a $1000 bill, double the specified max, and refused to itemize the work done. When the landlord expressed the costs were to be capped at $500 (and to stop beyond this price point), instead of itemizing they tried to then push the remainder of the charge on the tenant, which was never the agreement. I was present for most the work and the $1000 bill involved less than 3 hours of work. When attempting to address this issue, the secretary was rather rude. [It is noted in their response that my saying this is getting personal - it is not unreasonable to expect cordiality and note the customer service is poor, as highlighted by the contentious response to this review.]The below response highlights their rapid response to my initial call, which was great, but also makes several untrue statements. 1) Contending there was constant requests for approval prior to rendering additional services (e.g. before and after each extraction event, etc.); we were not contacted prior to further services being rendered beyond the initial extraction and certainly not told it would amount to such disproportionate costs. 2) They note that No monies were out of pocket for you. We included you in the invoice to provide total transparency. This is both untrue and irrelevant (the job as a whole exceeded communicated limits) and they in fact attempted to charge me; initially, the second invoice they provided stated clearly that I owed the remainder beyond $500, indicating they knew it was to be capped and work was to stop at this point. If it was ambiguous, an attempt to contact us prior to doing the work should have happened or they should have waited.I do appreciate that eventually the company agreed and reduced the cost, splitting the difference of the excess charged due to some clear miscommunication, but it was not without a struggle clearly highlighted by their below response. I will not further address this issue.

I have used Harris twice for water damage which they went above and beyond the call on both times. They helped me deal with the insurance company and got my home back together better than before!

Harris Services is my go-to floor cleaning and restoration company not only because they do great work, but because theyre a local business. They are able to communicate really well and have fair prices.

I used them to clean a rental property of mine. They threw a rug out on the patio and didnt put it back inside. The rug was just tossed out side, all folded up, and it got ruined in the rain. I told them about it and didnt get an apology. I would be leery when choosing them, their technicians dont seem to care enough to put the rug back where they found it.

ADMITTEDLY INEFFICIENT AND PASSES THOSE INEFFICIENCIES ON TO THE CUSTOMER CONCERING COST. Unknown leak and had multiple contractors provide estimates for the investigation of the source. Harris provided us an estimate of $480 for 8hrs of work. What they didn’t outline in their estimate is their disagreement of approach between their water specialist and construction personnel who apparently cannot visit a residence at the same time (maybe they are like Superman/Clark Kent). After 4+ trips of going back and forth between the crews, they FINALLY finish the investigation and proceed to have me pay the $480 bill which I only paid $400 due to a misunderstanding of an equipment charge. They then send me the estimate (almost $6,000) that included work that didn’t need to be done according to insurance, multiple contractors, and what I relayed to them PRIOR to providing an initial estimate. The non-required work accounted for $3,700 of the total estimate. I sent back a negotiation on removing some unnecessary charges and coincidently less than two (2) hours later, I get a BRAND NEW BILL (not an estimate) for $778.23 for the same work I just paid them for! Therefore, they almost TRIPLED my investigation cost because they (from the owner) “spent time discussing what to do back at the office” when the initial person that came out the house said what the issue was in the first place! The worse part of this is the temporary fix they did. EVERY contractor that I’ve had come to the house has asked, “Why didn’t they just fix the OSB rotted piece since they had the siding/shutters/gutter off anyways?” Inefficiencies is the answer. Inefficiencies as outlined by their owner Glenn Harris in a sit-down with him. What should have happened is the water specialist and construction crew should have been at my house AT THE SAME TIME to remove the trim around door (1st trip), remove dry wall (2nd and 3rd trip), pull back siding (4th trip), and provide temporary fix (4th trip). A possible one day investigation but instead they bounced me back and forth for weeks between the crews. Needless to say, the other quality construction companies are providing proposals considerably below Harris (with LABOR MINIMUMS included) and are well aware of the issues with the project. And as for Harris, they have walked away from the project leaving exposed walls, and a $1,200 bill to have “discussions” on how to find a leak behind the wall. Their company disagreements between the water specialist and construction crew are COMPLETELY unprofessional and have caused a lot of time and money to be thrown on me as the customer which absolutely unsatisfactory when it comes to proper customer service. I think they have quality employees, but their leadership and project management skills are not to the level that they advertise. ($480 -> $6500 -> $7300 IN ESTIMATED COSTS for a job that should cost $2,500 or less TOTAL)

Before we moved out of our house, I had Harris Services come over and clean my carpets. I was worried that they werent going to be able to get some of the deeper stains out, but they proved me wrong! The carpets never looked better and I was sorry that I didnt call them sooner.
