Call to have service done and the agent who answered the phone said everything would be fine and they would get somebody out there as soon as possible and then the technician calls me and says that they dont even work on the part that I called for So why would you even transfer me to a technician if You dont service the appliance that Im calling about doesnt make any sense This company obviously doesnt want the business dont bother

GP is an absolute rip-off. Over $1,300 to service 5 single door coolers, replace one gasket and one minor repair, the rest is labor. They overcharged us 1.5 hours on the first time over. The guy had to come back to install the gasket he ordered his first time around. $70 service call and $85 travel time. Those charges also appear on the main service call, so they charged it twice on top of their insanely high labor rate. Almost all labor (4 hours really, not 6 as they charged), service charges and travel time. Believe me, I feel completely ripped-off. In my opinion, look for a more reasonable company.

I have been a customer of General Parts for the past 16 years and have never had a bad experience. When I call with a question or to request a repair the phone is answered 100% of the time by knowledgeable service personnel. General Parts has never been late or missed any appointment. Their service technicians are very professional and are able to fix any repair I have for them. I highly recommend General Parts for any equipment repairs, they are a wonderful company to work with!

Absolutely the worst in the industry!!! The techs are okay but sometimes are only able to handle part of the problem. They will get you by saying they need to go back to shop or order part. The will estimate for work already done and dont honor their parts/labor warranty. Part will break and they will say something else is needed. Repeat service charges and travel time...(128/hr). You will get billed for the total round trip even if tech is 5miles away. Stay Away!!!

Do NOT use this place for refrigeration repair! Extremely slow, complete lack of communication and prices that are insanely high.I took in my True refrigerator and told them it needed a new cap line and refrigerant.After two weeks of hectoring them by phone, they finally called me back to tell me that my fridge needed a new cap line and refrigerant. Oh, and I owed them $200 for telling me what i already know.Stay away from these imbeciles.

Great place to get parts

I just made a phone call to ask about their services for a commercial stove, and the lady who answered the phone told me that if it was a new stove that it would still be under warranty if it were to break down. That wasnt the question I was asking. I just wanted to know how much they charged for repairs. :(
