The thick lady in the salon has a nasty attitude off of the meet and greet. She is extremely unprofessional and that looks bad for this salon I will never go here again. Extremely unprofessional which is bad for business

I wish I could give 0 stars! Came here last week for a mani and pedi and the wife/owner was very rude and unprofessional. I don’t think I have ever felt so violated by a nail tech before. This lady was taking off my nail paint from before when when accidentally sliced my pinky finger, but the worst part was there was no apology or sorry given. I screamed of shock and pain and she simply looked at me and proceeded to firmly press my bleeding finger with a cotton ball with alcohol. I should have walked right out at that moment but I really needed my nails done and I hoped it wasn’t a deep cut. Fast forward a week later my finger is still in pain.. never again. Just rude and no value for customer service

Nasty attitude from the owners. No one available to do pedicures even though theyre open until 730. The pedicure lady leaves at 7. Came the next morning for a pedicure and it was a mess as people were practically arguing on who was first. Ghetto and unorganized.

Tony was the best, very professional & does nails great hes no longer working there so I let the owner do my nails & he ruined them. The owners are unprofessional is hell & the husband doesn’t know how to polish or shape nails .I will no longer be going there

The Big Boss and Long are the best in Bloomfield! They have the best personalities and they’re the best in Bloomfield! I would recommend that you go here to get your nails done! There’s never a long line, you walk in. You’re getting worked on right away! I LOVE RAINBOW NAILS, Long does my nails. And the Big Boss did a perfect jobs on my eyebrows!!!!!

The owner/wife was very unprofessional and rude. That was the 2nd time i have encountered her displaying the same behavior. To top it off when i called to ask a question on a pedicure the price went up $10 more than what i paid the previous month. I asked over the phone if she could repeat herself as i didnt understand what she was saying and her response was come in if you have a question and she hung up. NEVER EVER would i spend a red cent at that establishment.

This was my first time getting my nails done at this nail salon. I find the person that did my nails very curt. At first I thought it was a language barrier but quickly learnt that being RUDE was unfortunately apart of her personality. In addition, while doing my nails another patron came into the salon requesting gel nail manicure. She filed my nails and then asked me to wash my hands. She moved to the next chair and without sanitizing her hands proceeded to do the other client’s nails. I went back to the chair and waited approximately 5-10minutes on her to return to me. I sat there quietly and she did not acknowledge me. I thought the prudent thing to say at this point is “please give me a few minutes.” She returns to her chair at the work station where I was sitting clap her hands together to remove the nail dust (she was filing the other client’s nails), and proceeded to do my nails. I was thoroughly disgusted but did not say anything because I know it wouldn’t be taken kindly.Pros: I love the end result of my nails!Cons: RUDE & UNSANITARYI have no intention of returning! The person that did my nail is the female that says, “may I help you,” when you first walk in. The first person on the right upon entering the salon!

Everyone was welcoming and inviting. The man who did my nails did a great job. This will be my new place.

If your black yep I said it,the wife the owner is very rude has no respect for black people she greets every other race respectfully and she almost seems to not recognizes u when u of color. This place is the worst I had friends and people I had meet before said the same thing about her they should close this place down! The Husdand is a really nice guy but the wife is an awful person.

Mr.Long the husband is my favorite, I trust him with my nails each and everytime because he knows how I like my nails and what I want without repeating myself a whole bunch of times, Any nail salon you go to just make sure they are checking that all nail lengths are the same. Nail technicians should follow their school process and not skip on steps that are important because at the end of the day I pay for quality so YES this IS A GOOD PLACE ☺

This place doesn’t respect their customers. Nail technicians respond rudely when asked simple questions, customers are charged hidden fees for services that aren’t listed anywhere on the price sheet, and technicians do a rushed job on pedicures. I’ve been here several times and after my most recent visit - where I was told that “i could leave” for asking a question about polish removal - i will not be returning. If you want a relaxing experience where you are valued, listened to and treated decently go somewhere else cause that’s not happening here.

They aspire to please. The effort they put out was very admirable. They go over what you are asking for to make sure that they give you exactly what you want.The price are comparable to all the shops around and their work is good. It can get crowded at times so plan wisely

UPDATE: A year later I have fungus in 2 nails. Which Ive never had before in all my years of doing my nails. Also, I asked the owner how was I going to be compensated, can a get my first set free after the fungus grows out and he laughed saying my nail was the problem..... So I will not be back nor do I recommend this shop for future business.Good service ... reasonably priced ...and friendly staff. Recommend

This is the worst nail salon I have gone too and Ive been getting my nails done for 20years in Bloomfield. The younger staff are very rude and disrespectful. They talk negatively about the customers in another language, but I understand them clearly. They cut my toe so badly I had to rush to the emergency room as soon as I left. Do not go here! Go to nail salons on the North side of Bloomfield preferably. This one is unprofessional and wont do the best job on your nails. They are money hungry and not caring of loyal customers. I work very hard for my money and refuse to spend it when any business that is rude to customers. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

Received a gel mani from Jennifer. It started chipping after a week. I went back to get my polish fixed since gel typically last 2 weeks. Everyone was very rude and dismissive. They painted an extra coat over the chipped coat, only for it to chip 2 days later. Horrible place. Will not be returning. Four Seasons and Queens Nails and TD Nails in Bloomfield are much better places.

The customer service here is the worst! I had an appointment for 3pm today and when I arrived the lady I booked with was finishing up with a client. No worries cause it’s not quite 3 yet but then at 3pm my appointment time she starts with another client and nothing was said to me so I inquired and was told dismissively 1 minute! I walked out and I’m currently looking for a new nail salon!

Today my experience was tacky! If I tell the technician what I want done then thats what i want done not what she wants to do or feel like doing. Then she gets mad... Great customer service is really hard to find in these nail salons nowadays. Maybe they shouldnt work so many hours a day. SMH! (It was only a simple manicure).

The wife/owner has terrible customer service and manners. To actually be rude to a customer because they went somewhere else to get their nails done once is beyond childish.Because you asked and I was honest.Lady grow up seriously🤔😂

I never made it into the shop the person who answered the phone the two times I called to ask for price wasn’t able to listen to the question or answer and hung up and when I called back she yelled so loud and crazy like that I turned around and went elsewhere. Customer service is what is needed and now you just lost money.

They are highly disrespectful and unprofessional. Many of the workers do not know how to conduct business and it is disgusting. I wish I can put zero stars because that is what they deserve. Customer service is important in a business.

This experience just wasnt good. Def wasnt much of an inviting environment. So many people came in waited and then just left. I was in a chair soaking my feet waiting for two people to be done before they even touched my feet. It just sucks because they were under staffed that day.

Ive been a long time customer of rainbow nails. I have known the owner Long for over 10+ years and followed him from his sisters shop on broad street to currently here at Rainbow nails. I cant believe how I was disrespected and disregarded this evening. I had a 6:15 appt and was not actually serviced until 10 mins after 7 never once apologized to for the delay. Once I was seated I was told I wouldnt be able to have a pedicure because the technician were all leaving for the night even though there were other customers that came in after me did have pedicures. I expressed my displeasure and was told to return the next day no apology ever given and no compensation or mend for the miscommunication and inconvience. Customer service is the number one key in running a business especially a service business extremely disappointed and I will never return ....... shavonI

I had a horrible experience at this nail salon. The technician that worked on my nails was very sloppy and when I asked for it to be redone, I was mocked and told that I would I have to pay for it to be fixed. I would not recommend this place to anyone because they are very rude and do not value the customers experience.

No matter how many times i told them what i wanted it was still not the right thing!! Wont be back.

I had a terrible experience here, i went to do my pedicure there, and the girl that did it cut my nails and kept poking on the sides of my nails resulting to an ingrown nail and trips to the doctor to remove my ingrown nail, when i went back to complain or at least get my money back, they all denied i was even there, if you want a trip to the doctor after you get your pedicure done, i suggest coming here, this place should be shut down due sanitation issues.
