I came in with a huge bolt in my tire, even though they were busy and it was almost closing time, the techs could see I was in a jam, they took care of the job quickly and professionally, they have gained a customer for life. I tried to tip for the good service but was told tips are not accepted.

The gentlemen at Big O did a wonderful job installing my new tires. They walked me through what another mechanic made seem like very large issues. They physically took me under my car and showed me the different parts of my car what the other mechanic was referring to, and advised that I would still be good to go for a while, but to keep an eye on it for the future. They didnt try and sell me anything unnecessary and treated me like I was one of their mothers walking into the shop. Highly recommend for great service! I even got a little taken off of the price of my set of tires. Score!

The staff and friendly and informative with good customer service. That being said I made an appointment and was estimated to wait 45 minutes to an hour... I spent almost 2 here. The manager and attendant I was working with Lisa were understanding and apologetic and gave me $50 off which I really appreciated. Unfortunately on my way home I noticed all my tires had different PSI, one 16 another 20, one 23 and another 29, my PSI should be 33. They also returned my car with the plate underneath falling off - but I’m not positive if that happened at the store, but I just had my oil changed and they didn’t tell me about it. That doesn’t make me want to jump to have repeat service.If staff was willing to initiate conversation about why if I made an appointment I had to wait that long, it might feel better, as I saw multiple people come in after me and leave already, but possibly for quicker services. Also, please enforce mask requirements, I continued to go outside for long periods of time because one customer had his mask off the entire time he was there, and another had one half off his face before I left. I’m sure this location at other times does provide great service, so I wouldn’t go ask far to say “don’t come here”, I think I just had an unfortunate first impression.

Scam! Dont buy the tire protection plan… theyll lie to you and tell you what you want to hear untill it comes time to utilize the purchase.

Horrible services ... came here to drop off my vehicle and the lady told me to go sit down and she will be right with me .. 20 minutes later I’m still sitting and waiting . No one in line . I dont know what she doing or the guy. A few phone calls but that was it . Priority for customers who’s already there should be taken care of before person on the phone . After 20 minutes of waiting . I walked out as this place need better customer service and management.

Took my truck in for a oil change and when I got home I noticed fresh scratches and chips on my hood that were not there before. Looks like something was set on the hood and dragged off. Not happy that someone wouldn’t say something. Thought I found a respectable place to take my vehicle. Guess I was wrong

Well lets start off. The location was better and more friendly before it became Big O. Quick answer is DONT GO HERE not even for tires.I called for to find out the price for some work. The price seemed a bit high so I asked a break done of the price. This is where things went severely wrong. The labor, which the lady on the phone thought was high, sounded fair for the time. The part she thought was perfectly normal was $400 higher than even the dealers price. I brought that to her attention and she said that was there price. She even gave me an attitude that I was bothering her.I called Honest One down the road from them and asked them (better shop, better work, and a warranty on the work). Their labor was the same and the price for the part was fair.

The other Blaine location near highway 65 was so much better. The staff was awesome and got the job done right every time. Now that it has closed and this is the only close location now for me I tried it out. The guy at the front counter who appears to be a manager? Well he put on a good show but the actual work was spotty. I ask for no tire rotation and they get rotated anyways. I ask if they did it and he said they didn’t (doesn’t bother to ask the tech if he did or not). I was gonna add a few more things but already lost interest in putting energy to this review. Do better.

One person working.... ONE..... IN THE WHOLE PLACE.... Wanted a quote for tires, was told to have a seat and hed get to me in about 1/2 hour..... You want me to wait 30 minutes for a quote on tires? How long is it going to take to get them and get the. Installed if I have to wait for a quote? One person working? I feel sorry for that guy.

Low tire pressure. Put air in it. Had a warranty, made appt. They said tire had air, nothing is wrong. A few days later, low tire pressure. Made appt, took it back. They couldnt find the leak. Said it was because of the bent rim. Sealed the rim. We took it home. It happened again. Husband did a soap/water mixture. He found the leak in the tire. Tried to make appt asap. They said we could come in a day or two. We were angry. Took it to another Big O Tire in Fridley. Highly recommend the Fridley store!

Went here for new tires and an oil change on a recommendation. Regret that decision. Paid for the tires and oil change, got my keys, went to the truck and the door handle was busted. Wasn’t broke when I dropped it off. Technician says “nothing I can do about it, it was rusted and could have happened to anyone, tell the manager when she gets back from vacation in a week”. What am I supposed to do for the next week climb in from the passenger side? They got their money what do they care. Told the wife, who gets her oil changed there religiously. She’s never going back. Worst part is they didn’t say a word. I had to find out myself when I tried to get in the truck to go home. Big O? No! BIG FAILURE!

They told me my Lug nut and strud would break off if they turned it anymore, then quoted me 160 ticket on top of my wheel change. I asked if I could watch them break my lug and strud and after replace it, I go out and he takes it off in a second after I had to go watch. Be careful with these people they will upsell you a lot. Find a repair man or you will get scammed

Took my car to Blaine Big O Tires for new pads and to have my rotors checked and replaced if need be. They did the pads super fast, and told me my rotors were fine, so the fact they didnt try to sell me parts I thought I needed and they assured me I didnt is huge. They also went beyond my reason for being there and found a wheel bearing that was loose, and called me to let me know. Great service, staff is easy to talk to and supports veterans! Ill be using this tire shop from now on. Thank you!

Heather was the person that assisted me during the winter, I had purchased a new vehicle and while driving it for the first time in winter I was terrified. I was referred to Big O tires by my manager and Heather took time out of her busy schedule to find me some tires for a very reasonable price. After the new tires were put on I had no issues driving in the snow and the tires that the dealership had left on that were “new” were about as effective as bald tires.

Took my 1997 F150 to have some used tires put on. Most shops wouldnt even do it since i didnt purchase the tires through them and if they would do them they wanted a ridiculous price per wheel. Heather helped us from the time we walked in until the time we left. It took them longer than they expected it to so she gave me a discount, even though I had not complained. During our time in the shop we had great conversation since i was there after closing time and it felt amazing to be treated like friends. I will bring my vehicles back there again for sure.

About 6 months ago I had a not so good experience at the Blaine store. Today, February 1st, I needed a tire in an emergency and the crew at big o tires of Blaine came through with flying colors. Heather was fantastic, very friendly and an amazing employee. She explained everything from top to bottom. I cannot say enough great things about my awesome recent experience except that I will go no where else for tires or vehicle service. Thank you Heather you have gained a customer. Awesome job and I really appreciate the the job well done.

Don’t usually take the time to review but this was thee absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had. The representative at the front desk had an attitude and was truly awful to work with. They say they price match competitor coupons but don’t. Go across the street if you want to feel secure that you and your vehicle are truly cared about. Two thumbs down.

Totally amazing customer service. Heather and Mitch from the Blaine store went above and beyond on a much need tire repair. Mitch went offsite to check out the tire before bringing it into the shop. Do not go here. Horrible experience. Was told a quote for tires, I made an appointment and was told it would take an hour. When I got there at 12:30, they said my quote was wrong but they would honor it. They also said that I could not use the $30 coupon that I had received in the mail because I was getting to good of a deal already. I was told that it would take two hours now and they would call me when it was done. At 5:20, I called to check on it and was put on hold. I waited for 10 minutes and then I decided to drive there knowing they closed at 6. Stayed on hold the whole time, 25 minutes total. Got here,was told that something must be wrong with the phones and truck still not done. Then they came out and told me they couldnt align it because my f-150 is too long and it wont fit on their machine. They said I would have to have it aligned at a different big o. (I would think an f-150 is a fairly common truck.) I think they wanted to go home. After 6 now and still waiting. I talked to another guy waiting and he came in for his appointment at 7:30 this morning.

I went in to have my wheel alignment checked. Picked up my vehicle the following day and was given a $1300+ estimate. My boyfriend bought 2 rotors and brake pads for $99.99 and it fixed the problem. My point is your store keeps the negative image that mechanics and garages get about price gouging customers. Very disappointed this is still happening.

I had waited last second to get new tires before winter and was frantic trying to find a place that could change my tires as my car was unsafe to drive in snow as I had zero tread left. They told me to drop off my car the next day and they should be able to get to it. I showed up and they had no idea what I was talking about but they had to get a 4th tire from another store and said theres no guarantee itll get done today. Well they got my tires done a few hours later. I was very happy they fit me into their busy schedule with the lobby filled with customers. Thank you! I feel safe driving my car in the snow now. Reasonable prices, friendly staff

Chris is a great manager.. every time Im here i here his great customer service to the customers. I drive the extra ways to come here cause NTB-BOT has done me right. Never walked away thinking I got took. These guys are great to work with. Its a national company but chris treats you like you are at a local garage.Keep up the good work! Wish more places treated customers the same way.

The store manager was extremely rude when dealing with her about the issue with their online scheduling system. Apparently only some of the online appointments show up on the stores system even though you get an email from Big O Tires confirming the appointment date, time, and location. The oil change technician did not even know how to turn off/reset the oil change indicator on the vehicles dash and told me to come back in a few days so someone else could take a look at it.

If I could give more stars i would. A late night tire emergency led to a Sunday morning phone call. Deangelo was amazing. Incredibly polite, and worked me in immediately despite them being very busy. He never mentioned they were booked solid, i just happened to notice while waiting. He had me out the door in an hour, with no appointment, and 4 new tires. Please give Deangelo the praise he deserves. He is a great staff member, and your company is lucky to have him on your team! A+

These guy did a great job I had to drive from the one off 65 to the one on University because they had a problem with a car that was on the alignment rack. I much rather have these guys on University anyways. Mechanic Mitch K is the man, Ive delt with him a couple times before and he is a really good mechanic for sure.

Sales associate Steph went above and beyond to make sure everything got taken care of on my truck, she treated me with the extreme respect and let me know everything that was going on while it was happening, they have a five star rating for customer service and repair service! I set up a appointment to get tires done. I get there with my son and go to counter. There are 4 employees there at counter. I stood there for 3 minutes no one even looked at me. Terrible customer service.

They are being too lazy it takes them 3 hours to get a easy job done on my car. Beside this location not a lot of people go to. However, After I drove off my car tire flew. I called, Big O Tires, and they say get the car back to us we will fix it right away. Big o tires wouldn’t pay for towing.The car can’t even go anywhere. After that I switched the car wheel to stock, and drove back to them. I never heard back from them again saying that your car was done. I waited for 5 days then called them, we didn’t have time to touch your car yet. This location has bad customer services, and are lying don’t waste your time.

This place has the worst service Ive ever experienced and should be embarrassed. Long story short, after having to already bring my work van back in because it wasnt fixed right, they zip-tied my fuel rail back on my engine resulting in it blowing off on the road and gas spraying out of my engine, then blew me when I called about it. Stopped in and the manager said theyd call me the next day, which again never happened. Never again would I even let them touch a tire. Cracks me up the thought of them even touching my lug nuts.

My friend brought his truck in to get a simple oil change at The Big O off of university. The Big O called him after he dropped the truck off, saying that his alignment was way off and said he should get a front end alignment. My friend told them to just complete the oil change and tire rotation, and he will deal with it later. He then took his truck in to the dealership, and they said his alignment was perfect.Not long after that, with the truck parked back in his driveway, the truck started leaking oil, about a PIZZA-sized puddle.He took the truck BACK to the dealership, who discovered that the OIL FILTER was NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED.Needless to say......HES DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK THERE, and neither will I or anyone else I know. Good luck guys !!!

Wouldnt rotate a tire to the rear because it was below the legal limit for the tread. I do understand this tire should be replaced/is a hazard. However, I dont understand why they wouldnt with my permission, rotate it to the safest spot on the vehicle until I am financially able to replace it.

Im giving them two stars because despite my issues/concerns, they were nice employees with no bad attitudes. I scheduled an oil change for noon figuring Id be done in 30-45 mins and I had other appointments to get to after that. I only came here because they had actually fixed a flat for free for me previously and I honestly felt bad about it as I expected to pay $20-30. I told them Id come get some sort of service done so this time it was inconvenient to go to my dealership so I came here. Again, no employees had bad attitudes, but both times Ive been here the front counter person seemed clueless. The first time, for the flat repair, they had me worried saying my transmission dipstick was gone. I quickly googled what it would cost, found my transmission is sealed and what the counter person was told to say by the tech was that there is no transmission dipstick due to it being sealed. So 15 minutes of stress looking that up for nothing. Of course they tried selling me on numerous services that werent needed that time, but I passed it off that this is their job considering Im paying nothing to fix the flat. Well same thing this time. There were no other cars in the garage until 1255 when the 1pm dropped off. I finally got my vehicle at 115. 75 minutes for an oil change? So had to cancel my next appointment of course. Also had to shut down the new tires sell, as this car got brand new tires when I bought it 20k miles ago and has plenty of tread. Worse, as Im stressing over what could be going wrong that takes that long, I start reading these reviews about people refusing the extra sell and low and behold something goes terribly wrong a day or two later with things that were perfectly fine. Ill update if that happens, but the two stars is for taking so long for a simple oil change on a newer vehicle and for trying to sell me things that definitely dont need to be done on two separate occasions. People want to know if something is wrong, but if nothing is wrong then its okay to just do the service requested and tell the customer everything looks fine. You may not get an upsell that time, but you gain a repeat customer. Why cant shops learn this? Anyways, back to my dealership. 5k miles ago they did their inspection and everything was Green as in good working order. No yellow/red. No unnecessary upsells. And they get it done in a half hour. Good luck to ya Big O. People are nice, but enforcing an upsell everytime policy doesnt work.

The Manager Heather S. and the sales associate Jayson S. were both amazing. They didnt have all of the tires that i asked for in stock but Jayson got me into some BigO tires with a great warranty. I work in retail and I know how hard it can be to deal with customers that are having a bad day, so i was as polite and courteous to them as they were to me and they were so grateful because i was not pushy or rude. They got me in same day and I got an amazing discount. It pays to be nice. Jayson and Heather deserve a meal on the company and a few paid days off. Thanks you guys, Im a customer for life.

Bought 4 new tires from a competitor store, brought them to big O to be mounted. Get in the car after they mount them and i notice my break maintenance light is on. I knew that wasnt right since i just did my breaks 3 weeks prior. I left and put air in my tire (since it wasnt filled to recommended psi) and the break maintenance light whent off. Drove home and parked it. 2 days later my tire is completely flat. I go straight back to Big O and tell them i have a slow leak in the back left tire. They said they would fix it for free if it was fixable. They later bring my tire out to me and tell me theres a hole on the inner side wall almost up to the rim thats unfixable. I ask him what he thinks could have possibly made that hole all the way up there after 2 days. The employee said he had no idea but the only thing they could do was have me buy a new tire. Very dissapointed in big O. Ive been coming here for 5+ years before it was even big O with multiple vehicles. The fact that they mounted BRAND NEW tires 2 days prior, left them underdeflated, said they have no possible clue how a hole could be where it was, and then say all they can do is have me buy a new tire??? I will now be going next door and paying bigger bucks for the piece of mind.

I received excellent customer service from Deange on monday February 11th. Our brattery was under warranty. He called his manager to get the approval to get our battery that evening instead of coming back when the manager came in the next day.He is very friendly and motivated.High five to Deange.

I had a appointment at 9:00 am for oil change, well I am still waiting and my vehicle is not in yet. Time is 10am. They keep saying it wont be long now!!!!! Plus the coffee machine is broken. May not be back here again, costumer service is not going. 9am means 9am right ? Not here I guess. ☹️

Sent me dad up to get a tire rotation!! i marked the rims!! none of them were rotated... but receipt says different. very very disappointed!!!

Decent price. Went for 4 new tires. However the balance weights placed on the rim were too big and were hitting my front calipers and making an awful grinding noise every wheel rotation. Needless to say one flew off almost immediately and I was able to find it laying in my garage, which pointed me to the problem (I only live 2 minutes from the shop). I told them I wanted the four tires rebalance, but I think they only did the fronts.. they tried to tell me my caliper had locked up and would cost over $900 to fix... But thats why I work on my car for things I can do, too save loads of money. They were quick and they did resolve the problem, untill its time to rotate the tires!! I still always check over a mechanics work, cause everyone is human and mistakes can happen. Overall Id recommend them.

Brought my car in to check for a oil leak thats it. They didnt replace or fix anything. But somehow they manage to make my car misfire . And my engine lights on my car is on also stalls on me its my daily car i depened on it to work and when i told Max the guy up front that my car stalled and i was in the middle of the road he told me what do you want me to do about it and if i wanted them to fix it i would have to pay for it. My car was fine before bring it with Big O tires. No problems starting up hot or cold no misfires and no engine light. Very stressful they had no clue what they were doing at first they tell me a sensor got wet now there saying a coil got wet and short circuit the spark plug. One of the mechanics told me they cant do anything because the mechanic that knows about rotary engines wasnt in that day. So that tells me they know nothing about my car and still tried to touch things. Very unprofessional if a unique car is to much for you guys turn it away dont agree to do the service and ruin something that potentially could cost me hundreds to fix. Wouldnt recommend mediocre at best mechanics to my friends. Stick to tires Big O tires.
