Gone are the previous brothers that I believe launched this business. However, the new owner is a good guy and honored the rewards program from the previous admin. A plus!My review is based on my visit in January of 2021. The unfortunate negative is that his staff is not as diligent and detail oriented as the previous crew. If you look at my photos you can see they didnt fully clean the wheels, touch the door jams, or vacuum the crevices in between the front seats and front doors. I had to ask them to clean the tailgate of my truck because they missed it. Blew my mind TBH. Maybe theyve got better techs now for summer 2021 but diligence is important in this business. I wish them the best. I personally wont be revisiting.To the reviewer complaining about paying $12 instead of $10: If two bucks hurts your budget, you need to clean your own vehicle. I get your point, the signage was wrong and they didnt honor the price, but to drop such a negative review for that? Come on....

Not bad for $17 (for mid-size SUV). They cleaned the exterior, vacuumed the interior, wiped down the dash and windows, wiped down the exterior, and cleaned the wheels. They missed quite a few spots where the dirt was caked on the car, that requires some extra muscle with water and soap. They didnt completely clean the wheels as there is still a noticable amount of brake dust, but the majority of it was cleaned.The process is simple enough. Drive up. Get out of the car, let them know if you want full service or basic service, go pay, and then wait until theyre done. Everything is done in plain view so no worries about them damaging your car. Overall good experience.

Got my car wash here every other week always a great experience even the owner hands on get out working and I like the fact its hand wash and not everywhere u go and find a cheap car wash

I would recommend this place a solid 5/5. Great place for a car wash and detail. Ken was amazing and got the job done perfect. Make sure to pick up some of their scents such as the mango bomb. I had my car dropped off around 10 and finished my car in a timely fashion. Great attention to detail. Will definitely be coming here for a car wash more and more.

Car wash was no problem, my issue is that the sign said $10 for small car exterior only so I proceeded to get the car wash. I go to pay after and was charged $12. I explained to cashier sign says $10, she refused and stated $12. I paid cause I could’ve been wrong and then went back to recheck sign...I was correct sign is for $10, cashier could’ve cared less and just shrugged her shoulders. I will not return because of this, oh and I took a pic of the sign to show her. Wish I could post pic here.

Rude people. They scratched my car and they didnt vaccum anything inside, one of the guys was pretending vaccuming with the door open while the others were washing the outside car with water and lots of water entered inside, all the sits are wet. Even the outside wasnt really cleaned well.

The owner is absolutely incredible and gives great customer service. There was this one incident where I had a few marks after the wash and he himself tried to take it out. That right there is above and beyond. With just about 17 dollars everything in your car is cleaned. The business also offers detailing of the car. I had my moms car detailed and they did such a great job for such a great price.

Couldn’t be more disappointed. They’re INSANELY aggressive with your car. All that money for a car wash and it leaves dirty every single time. I understand it’s cold out and everything but this doesn’t happen anywhere else. Come on guys. Better off at a machine track wash.

Worst car washing experience. Staffs were rude and tore my mat to vacuum causing mat clippers broken. Told the boss back with nothing he can do and not responsible for this with even no apology. Never recommend. Never com again.

Horrible service and management the owner had his daughter at the front desk sometimes she charges me $15 $20 or $25 every time I go it’s different pricing for a full service wash. Multiple times they forget to clean the interior my doors and my dash. Today topped it off. Not coming back any time soon. Horrible service, very unfriendly. Every time I go, I am met with unfriendly faces, as if I am inconveniencing them. Multiple times they forget to clean the interior, my doors, and my dash. Today topped it off, after a simple car wash, I noticed scratches on the roof of my Altima.Not coming back any time soon. Update 6/16/18: Been coming here for some time now. In fact its the only car wash I use, since my first visit over 3 years ago. Great folks, work is usually great.However, as I state in my initial review when busy and rushing the quality goes down. Im not bashing them just hope they read this and learn from it.Today, my experience was rather the same as usual. I havent washed my car in months due to my work schedule. So it was filthy. I didnt expect a detail cleaning for full service; but, I wasnt too happy with the big obvious dirt spots in the interior and exterior of the vehicle (see pics). It also looks like they have a rather new crew of young kids; who looked rather lethargic doing their job. These were reasons I left my much closer hand wash to travel to them. Hope they improve on that.

By far the best service i got it in New Jersey. It was a long day for me waited almost 3hrs to get interior detailed but it’s worth it. People are very nice and appreciate their customers. This is gonna be by my spot from now on. Ask for Kevin for any assistance and he will guide you very well about the car. Thanks you guys for taking care of my car.

Quick service. The guys here work extremely hard. Everything is done manually from vacuuming to drying your car. When my usual place is too crowded, Ill come here. Prices are typical for the area.

When to have my car washed, ended up covers in scratches. This is unacceptable. Do not recommend going here, better off letting the rain wash your car

This car wash is run by people who do not care about how your car looks. I went there and left with a half clean car and deep scratches. You are actually better off leaving your car dirty than going to this place. A dirty car looks better than a half clean car with scratches.

I’ve been giving this place way too many chances. I came multiple times and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Brought my car in today and they didn’t even bother to clean it properly. Left dirt and splashes all over the grill and the hood, not to mention the back of the car. When I brought it up to their attention they wiped it down with some rags which only made it worse. Extremely disappointing. Someone left a review saying “they only like to clean cars that are already clean” and it’s so true.

This place has been a legend in the area for a hand car wash! But please be aware Kevin and Don sold the business several months ago. The new owner seems attentive and so far no noticeable drop in quality with the car wash. They do need a better spray wax applicator though. I had my car detailed here last year and it was phenomenal!! Only time will tell if the new owner keeps up the standard don and Kevin set for so many years!

Didnt clean the wheels the first time I came. Went again to show them the quality of their job. Instead of apologizing, gave me attitude that I wasted their time by coming again. Was way better with the same people when two brothers owned this place. Never coming back again!

They have a new owner who is awesome i came to get my back seats cleaned and they did a amazing job and the owner gave ne a really good price just to clean my back seats alot of places would not do it cause it wouldnt be procurable for them but he did it and he was very very accommodating. The owners, Don, was extremely helpful and knew his stuff. He explained everything over the phone and he knew what my car needed without even looking at it and was able to give a quote over the phone. Although I didn’t really have a appointment for detailing, Don was accommodating and took me in the same day. Now the car, which needed quite a bit of doing, looks brand new, my BMW, looks brand spanking new inside and out. The owners are hands on and super friendly. Great local find 👌!

Was here last week to get my accord car washed. Loved the way they cleaned the interiors. Exteriors was good too. but some bird poop still remained. may be it was too dry. Not too bothered because the exterior shine was really good after car wash. surely to go there next time.

I must say I’m disappointed in today’s service. I waited an hour for the interior of my car to look the same way it did as when I got there. At first I didn’t mind waiting because the last time I was there the young men did a fantastic job and cleaned my car so diligently. Today, not so much. Sad that after paying for a full service I had to clean my dashboard and radio screen myself. They only washed my floor mats. And my tire looks FILTHY. I guess it really depends on the crew. However, I’d be willing to try ONE MORE time. The prices are definitely a plus.

I was not pleased with my interior cleaning.. I was expecting a lot for the amount i paid. I only paid that much because i believed his crews ability..The car did not come in bad shaped. I had just purchased it. My child has a chronic illness so i had to assure it was thoroughly clean. When i addressed it with him, he was rude. When he noted my concern was valid. He was rude and not apologetic and I was told he was busy. Shame on him. Treat your customers how you treated them before they purchased the service. NEVER AGAIN.

Probably the best car wash in rahway, its a hand car wash and they do a great job of cleaning the outside and Inside of the car. Dash cupholders seats everything cleaned throughly on my visits there. Weekdays it is less busy of course and weekends like every other car wash it is busy.

Clean Dreams has been my go-to since moving to Rahway four years ago. The managers and crew always did an immaculate job on my poor, neglected Subaru, and the price was great for full service interior and exterior. I noticed a different crew the last two times I was in though, and also noticed that neither owner was there. Most importantly, I noticed a decline in their attention to detail. The first time was at least understandable; they were busy and the missed spots were in places that were out of direct eyesight. This most recent time however was inexcusable. Someone missed the entire passenger side door, which was noticeably dirty with drips from a coffee accident that weekend. I brought this up to the new manager immediately, and he had someone give it a once over. Its at least cleaner, but Im still going to have to do quite a bit myself. That said, I dont think Ill be going back after this. Its clear the new management is more interested in turning over cars as quick as possible, and squeezing that much more profit out of costs by decreasing quality. Its a shame because this place is a Rahway institution.

Went here first time today.. took the full service.. they did a good job with exterior and interior.. esp with interior is good than many other car wash..they could have done better with exterior wiping .will surely go back and if the service is same may plan interior detail also

Been going over here for 2 years now and I always get exceptional service. The car wash lasts at least 2-3 weeks as they put attention to detail when washing your car. Plus the owner is very hands on and caring to his staff and customers.

Avoid this place by all means. They will rip you off and on top of that they dont even do a good job cleaning your car.

Don’t go to this place. I am not sure what the rave is all about. The cleaning staff knocked out my phone holder on the windshield and while removing it, it left a big stain on the glass. When I took it back, they said it’s not their liability. Additionally they stained my seat and the owner kept shouting that it is an old stain. How come when I drop the car off there was no stain and when it comes out there is one. Absolutely no value to a returning customer! They will damage your car.

They must have used dirty towels to dry my car. Went to wax the car right after wash, and the applicators turned black from dirt. Wont be back.

I just drove from Kearny doing 80mph just to get here before 5pm. Got here at 4:30pm just for some 16 year old girl to tell me that I cant get my car washed for no apparent reason. Cars filthy and hasnt been washed In weeks, because of the rain. Ive been coming here for the last 4 years, but this will definitely be my last visit. I go out of my way to come here when there are other places for what smh!

Great car cleaning and detail work. I have gotten cars cleaned out here regularly. Including some cars that were used for daily transportation of pets. When getting a regular wash, they always take great care of the car. It doesnt take too long and theres a nice indoor waiting area where you can sit.I also got my car detailed here recently, and I was really pleased with the work. My car looks like it is brand new, and they really did get all the little details when working on the car. From the coffee stains next to my cupholder to the little bits of dust in the vents and everything, they were really attentive and seriously got everything.Im actually not embarrassed to drive my coworkers around this week. A+++

I was very hopeful about this place after reading the reviews, I was looking for a new car wash but was not impressed. I was charged more than the sign said for my vehicle and the dry off left a lot to be desired. My windows were very streaky and I had water Marks over several areas. Guess I will go back to my old place.

Been going here for a couple years but recently Im realizing theyve been slacking a lot with the interior of the car. Seats, dashboard, door panels, and middle console were untouched by the person doing the vaccum and the individuals wiping down the car on the last 3 occasions I came. Will be going elsewhere from now on.

These guys are good!! They are a legit handwash car wash, though you pay what youd pay at a place with the automated scrubbers. Be prepared to wait a little longer, but its completely worth it!!

Great job for the price. They even spray wax the car for only $17.00. Only gripe is my wheels never get cleaned right.. this is my problem with every carwash I go to though.. just wish I could find a carwash that cleaned the wheels as good as the rest of the car.. I got my car wash with dream clean and I cant remember the last time my car was this clean. They do a great job interior and exterior, my car literally looks brand new. They take their time to really do the best job possible and I really appreciated their work. They also offer wax and polish service which I will look forward to getting next time.

Water spots everywhere, didnt dry properly.Inside isnt cleaned at all. Center console still has a stain from a drink I spilled and its easy to remove since its on plastic. They just vacuumed carpet and thats it. Rims are still dirty. $21 to clean a jeep and its barely cleaned. My 5 year old can do a better job.

I was disappointed. From the reviews, I thought this would be a good car wash. It was very timely, not a long wait and quick wash. Everything is hand washed. But there were streaks all over my car, everywhere, even on surfaces inside car. I spent an hour cleaning after.

Don and Kevin are friendly, knowledgeable, and together with their team they are fantastic . I recently brought my 2014 Fiesta ST in and was blown away by the level of care and service at Clean Dreams. Afterward, I felt like I had been going there my whole life, they treated me and my car that well. Cant say enough good things and I will definitely be going back.

First time going today. Really nice job with the outside of the car. Owner/manager was a really nice guy. He even got his hands dirty and helped clean some road grime/tar off the bottom of my car. Recommend anyone near Linden, Roselle, or Rahway to go here.

This is the best carwash I have ever been to. The owner is there to make sure that you get what you pay for, and in this case I got a whole lot more. My car was swiped from the side leaving scratches and traded pains along the whole side. Long story short, my car looks brand new. I dont know how it what tools they use, but it does. I am very picky when it comes to car washes. I either wash it at home by myself or take it to a self serve center, but after i found this place it is the only place i go to. They are modify friendly which is a huge plus and they are 100% rail less. The first time i went to them was for a full detail before i went to a show. My car looked better than what it did when i purchased it. The engine bay was flawless! They take care of your car as it is their own.

These guys take care of your car! Must go to in the area. I try to make this my primary go to but because it’s a little far I don’t make it as often as I like. When I do have the time, i travel the 20 minutes to make sure my car is taken care of right!
