Initially, I announced to anyone that would listen about honest-1, how I was treated with such kindness, respect, and I didn’t feel cheated as a woman. Many others told me I was crazy and how this company messed up their cars in some way, but for me, that was their experience at their location. I told this company about oil leaking from my car after getting an oil change with a different business. I told them I was in the middle of moving, it was my child’s birthday, and I needed my car. I loved that I could drop my car off, they gave me a ride home, and wore masks. I also loved that pictures were sent of the cracked oil pan, along with a report of other minor repairs I needed to do. I felt blissful about the entire experience and that still stands. I wanted so badly to remain a loyal customer! Granted their pricing is much more than others, I appreciated the “Honesty” more than the price. What doesn’t stand is that as a woman, I was cheated. I distinctly asked the gentleman that was at the counter “you guys put oil back in my car right? I just don’t want my engine to go out” I mean, for roughly $500 that should be done right? He said “of course, it’s all taken care of for you!” That was a flat out lie! After driving my car for awhile, it was making a knocking noise. Well, I thought it was my serpentine belt, I knew to replace it, so I did. I took my car to another establishment because honest 1 was closed, to get the belt replaced, same noise happening. So, I went to yet another business to be told… “whom ever replaced your oil pan placed whatever oil you had left after leaking, back in there and it’s black. You’re very lucky to have a car.” Seriously, thanks for the kind treatment, thanks for telling me everything that needed fixing and not making up things, but I don’t appreciate being lied to! Individuals need their cars to take care of their family. If my engine would have blew, you wouldn’t have taken any responsibility for your lie. How much more would it have cost for you guys to make sure my oil was at optimum levels? This is sad and an experience that needs to change in the auto repair industry.

The guys at Honest-1 really live up to the name. Ive used different locations and have had pleasant experiences at each of them. My go-to location is in Blaine, MN and it is like a 5 min drive from my house. I like that you are able to get a loaner car if the service is going to take a bit, but I also enjoy that they can shuttle you to/from so youre not stranded if they are out of loaners. I dont feel taken advantage of after I leave and feel confident that my cars issues have been resolved. Pricing seems fair and to me is worth every penny.

I did not like getting my car back after paying $2,000 to have a transmission put in and still can not get to into Drive with out puting the screwdriver in the squats where the calm is to put the car in Drive

I had a noise of unknown source. Honest-1 charged a very fair price, less than the dealership, to diagnosis the issue. Honest-1 was able to fix the part versus replacement of the part. I appreciate not being forced into a part replacement.

Fast and Friendly service.Only complaint is.this is now the third time I have serviced my truck with them.I still have never received a call from them! Yes never! I have had to call them every time for updates on my repair. I would think that calling the customer would be 95 percent of the service managers job? Honest 1 is seriously the ONLY place I will go to. They are truly honest . They have the most kind and compassionate team at this location and the others I have been to. They go above and beyond to help the everyday person. Last, last thanksgiving I got into an accident and even though it was a holiday they pulled together to get me in a rental car so that I could go on my trip that was a bit of a drive away. With every service they have shot it to me straight and never pressured me into anything I didn’t need . If you have a kid in their 20’s who is a broke college student and knows nothing about cars, I can promise you that this is the place to send them. I could cry from gratitude with how much they have continually blown me away with just how much they genuinely care and how hard they work to get you safely back on the road . Love you guys ! Great car care! Phone communication is a little difficult. Phone sometimes isnt clear or I get put on hold for 30m. Other than that, Great company!

This place is awesome! I blew out my tire on my way to work and randomly picked the place. The manager called several places to make sure I had the tire I needed today and at the best price. They also squeezed me on so I would be back up and running in less than a day. Thanks for the friendly and fast service!

My daughter sadly purchased a lemon from CarHop and when I called Honest-1 to ask for their advice, he treated me with the utmost respect and gave me not only incredible advice, but showed sympathy for her situation. I was experiencing charging issues w/ my 04 Z71 Suburban. Where if it sat overnight my battery would die. I also went through 4 AC DELCO batteries. Ive been experiencing this issue since March 17th of 2021. I went to several repair shops 5 to be exact Including Friendly Chevrolet & McCarthy Auto World & Brookdale Luther. Which is where my vehicle originated from. NONE of these dealers could find my issue. They were guessing what the problem was & fixing items on my vehicle THAT WERE NOT BROKEN... So after experiencing all the BS that these so called repair shops/ dealers were dishing out. I came across HONEST 1 AUTO CARE. I read the reviews and was sold instantly. I spoke w/ NICK and told him what Ive been experiencing & what Ive been through. Nick was very patient & understanding. I had my vehicle towed from McCarthy s to Honest 1. It took Bill the mechanic 3 days to find the parasitic draw. The imbeciles that Ive been dealing w/ kept my vehicle for over a week. And still couldnt find the problem. The guys @ honest 1 are very experienced w/ their craft. They also take their time & make sure they diagnose your vehicle & FIX THE PROBLEM. Honest 1 Auto Care has gained a new customer for life. They do not follow through with their warrenty claims.Misdiagnosed cause of an issue, took litterally weeks and thousands to fix. Issue came back half a year later, same parts failing. Said it wasnt their fault the replacements failed from regular use because they misdiagnosed the problem the first time.This same answer was given to me by both mechanic and the manager.Wont be using (dis)honest1 again. Wont guarantee their work if they can find any reason to get out of it.

An extremely upsetting experience! Will never go back to (Dis)Honest-1, not even for a simple oil change.Appointment scheduled for Friday at 5pm. Dropped the car off a day early on Thursday. We requested, and they told us, the car would be done by close of business on Saturday since they are not open on Sunday. After numerous phone calls by us, come to find out they didnt even look at the vehicle until Monday evening. Finally completed the work on Tuesday, 5 days later. But only after they initially said they could fix the sporadic inability to start. WE finally had to tell THEM what to check and turns out it was a simple battery issue. The most unfortunate part was that they were unwilling to do anything for our inconvenience of being without a vehicle for 5 days, after expecting it to be just one day.Now after picking up the car, turns out they neglected to reassemble all the dash. (see pics) What else did they forget to do???

The people here are great, always have had great quality and pricing. We get most of our car work done through this facility.

I called them on a Friday just before the end of the day for them because my car just decided to have issues at that time. Well I called them after getting a completely obnoxious quote from Big O Tires, dont got to them.They gave me a fair quote and even offered me a free loaner to use because they would not be able to do anything until Monday. The guy I talked to even offered to wait for me to get there even though it was the end of the day on what was going to be a nice weekend.The loaner wasnt anything special but it allowed me to get out to do the things I needed to. When I picked up my car I was told about their warranty on the repair and it was better than any other shop I have been to before.There was only one problem and it was minor. The forgot to install the shroud back on top of my engine. I called and they said they had it and would reinstall it when I got there.The mechanic and every other employee I talked to or met were very friendly and nice. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop. Their prices are fair, they are honest about what they are doing and they offer a great warranty on their work. Then the fact that they make you feel like they are there to help you not to make money off of your misfortune.

Where do I begin? Day 1- After having my car all day Wednesday, April 29 and not hearing from them, I called only to find that they had my email wrong so I never got the quote. Got that corrected, told him to start on a couple of the services while he waited for a quote on another issue. Day 2-no call with the quote. I called only to find that they had my phone number wrong. Told him to go ahead on additional services. He told me it would be done by Friday so I’d have my car for the weekend. Day 3-no call. I called only to find that the work was not done and would not be done until Monday. Day 6-Monday came and went with no call. I got this survey, so I assumed the work was done. I called at 4:30, no answer. I went to the shop only to find it closed. I left an unhappy voicemail. Day 7-got a call at 7:15ish with apologies. My car was ready for pick up. I received the services and a job was done I didn’t approve. It was the spark plugs, so I didn’t make a big deal about that. They needed to get done eventually, but I was going to wait a little while since $2600 of more important work was already being done. I was given double the discount coupon ($200 total off). That was appreciated, but to say I was not happy with the communication would be an understatement. The work that was done seems to be good, however I have had to put air in one new tires twice already. I hesitate to take it back!

I dropped off the vehicle Friday told him what the problem was. that we had this problem in the past. Didnt hear from him all day. I called right before closing and they said that they hadnt even looked at it yet. That was after telling them that my daughter lives in Alexandria Minnesota the reason why I brought it in was they said that they could get it looked at that day. So when I called to ask when I could come pick it up he said we havent even looked at it yet. I said oh I dont know what Im going to do now my daughter lives in Alexandria and she needs a car he says well we could give her a loaner car. I said Im over an hour away and youre closing in 10 minutes They probly should have communicated that to begin with. so I guess Im going to have to figure out something else for transportation.Then he proceeded to tell me that they were closed on the weekends due to Covid. I totally understand were living in strange times right now so it was not a big deal so I told him thats fine it is what it is I got things figured out and to call me and Monday and let me know what the he gets figured out. Monday came and went didnt hear anything from him thank God that I had a car to give my daughter to take with her when she left. Tuesday comes rolling around no call still. I call them finally at 3:30. he tells me that they couldnt figure out what the problem was that they had driven it around and couldnt figure it out. I told him that it was the traction control sensor that we have had this issue in the past and that is what We believe it to be and that it only does it when the roads are icy. Therefore driving it around on roads that arent icy of course they wouldnt be able to see the problem. I seriously want to speak to the owner of this company because he has absolutely lazy staff taking care of the phones and front desk and if he doesnt do something about it hes gonna lose business because of it. Im sure this company is a good company but whoever he has working the front desk is just pure laziness. They have zero communication skills and that will cause anger with his clients I know it did me. because I have been without a car for my daughter for 5 days and inconvenienced my schedule so that she could have my car all to hear that they did nothing with the car so now Im gonna take the car a Subaru and for some reason I think theyre gonna figure it out. Hummmmmmmm just lost a potential client that lives 4 blocks away.

If one of the hardest things in life is to find a good, honest mechanic, you can stop your search here because these guys are good and honest! My son has an old Toyota Camry for a first car. Something was definitely wrong with the exhaust system because it sounded like a go-kart. I set an appointment with Honest-1 in Blaine to take a look and provide an estimate. I told the service mgr that the car was not worth an expensive repair if that was required. He gladly took a look at it and informed me that he only needed to repair a gasket and it was a $126 fix! I was so relieved, and even said that he could fix it within an hour! These guys are the real deal! Great mechanics, great customer service, and honest! My vehicle had to be toed in because it was running so rough and I was given a free loanerThe main problem turned out to be the distibuter which was still under warranty from 18 months ago. Had issues in the past with poor service and shoddy work. Thought Id give them another chance with new management and expansion since their estimate for my repair was far lower than competitors. Great, friendly service! Tech was very knowledgeable about my vehicles issue. Since they also have free loaner cars, I may be switching to Honest-1.

My service was done promptly with no unexpected extra costs. They called me to let me know my vehicle is ready and sent me a text message with an attachment showing all the points of service that they did looking over my car and with recommendations on what needed to be done and we could wait

Brought my car in with a serpentine belt, or electrics issue. After diagnosis (alternator and battery) they quoted $1400. I could easily do this job for $250 myself but i work alot and didnt want to deal with it. I called another shop in the area, and they did it for $650. When picking my car up, i was charged $60 for the diagnostics, which i would gladly pay, but they only informed me of the alternator and battery issue. I know what is wrong with my vehicle, and they should have informed me of those issues as well if im paying $60 for the diagnosis.Recap: Didnt do a full diagnosis and tried to charge double what other shops in the area charge..

I took my daughters 2002 Rav4 in because it was making an expensive sounding noise. They fixed the noise fast, and for FREE! It was in an area of the car that they had worked on before and they addressed the current problem under their warranty. Their business name is perfect...they truly are Honest-1!

They are good at changing oil and got me in early...

They do great work... I feel they are honest and transparent on need versus suggestions (they dont try to upsell you). And the loaner car is a bonus.

Not the cheapest I found but definitely worth the extra price. Heck, its in their name.

Friendly fast service, I needed an oil change and had a leaky tire, was fixed fast, forth time using this business and will continue to do so.

Nick was terrific in listening to our concerns and was very helpful in explaining our options. He looked for solutions that would help us save money and time. The repairs where done and they corrected the problem. The workmanship seems to be excellent. The only issue is that the repair was only to take a few days but took two weeks. While life happens and illness occurred, the management did not seem to appreciate how this severely inconvenience our life. They did not seem interested in making It right or cared that I was obviously not happy about it. Guess once I paid the $3000 they just didn’t care about future business. We also called the number they print on every satisfaction guarantee. That didn’t seem to go anywhere either. Oh well.

They offered me a loaner car while my vehicle was being repaired. Worked with me to get discounts on the bill and came in on their day off so I could pick up my car. Good experience.

Got my car towed here by Frankies Towing when it broke down. I was recommended H1 by my step dad who was a mechanic. The guys here were communicative, the estimate they gave was very accurate and actually $50 over the end cost. Its been three weeks now since the repairs and my car is running like new.

If you’re on a budget, DO NOT GO HERE. Extremely overpriced. A close second, in price, to going to the dealership. $1,100 to replace a timing chain on a 1999 Mazda protege. They also replaced the water pump which I was not informed of until I had to pay for it... I know it is recommended but not required to get the vehicle running in the condition the water pump was in.

Terrible terrible terrible!! I went in for an oil leak and belt! They tell me they have to decrease engine to fine leak, fine, but after fixing an OIL LEAK they didn’t put oil back into my engine afterwards! 2 weeks later my whole engine is blown now and going to cost me 5k for a new one! This place is a complete joke they charged me 600$ to degrease and fix leak they didn’t put oil in my car when they fixed leak and now I’m out a car! I do not recommend this place to anyone I hope nobody gets ripped off the way I was!

They gave me a laundry list of things wrong with my car that would add up to $3,000. I got a second opinion and showed my family trusted car company the list they gave me and they laughed because of their dishonesty.Some things they mentioned were somewhat correct but made me think that if I didn’t fix it immediately, my car would break down the next day.Fear is not the correct tactic to customers - trust is. I do not trust this company.

I was very disappointed with your diagnosis of my Mazda Tribute. Your mechanic said it needed $700+ pcv valve and hoses. $700?!! Really?! I got the parts for less than $50 from Ford dealer and installed myself in less than an hour. However that didnt change anything. The vehicle still barely ran and bogged down. I suspected the catalytic converter all along and specifically asked you guys to check it when I dropped it off, which apparently wasnt done. I unbolted the cat and the car ran normally. That should have been a 5 min diagnostic for you guys. Im not sure what I paid $112 for you guys to do but its outrageous and I want part of that back! Stop relying on electronic gadgetry to tell you whats wrong with cars and use common sense! I went to Honest 1 auto hoping to get an honest diagnostic. All I got was a lighter wallet.

Ive always been happy with Honest-1 Auto Care. My children have had some repairs and lots of questions answered as well. Very professional. Always on time. Have had issues and drop the car off middle of the night. With the keys. And I get a call immediately to find out what the problem is. Its taken care of immediately. Honest one definitely lives up to their name. Coupons are available a lot of the time as well. So, thats a gift!

First time there....got a synthetic oil change. From my experience, I have a hard time trusting auto service places. The name of this place is good Honest 1. Will have to try them a few more times and see. My previous place Tires plus was good for a while...then the people I knew left and back to square one. Too much dishonesty and up selling in this auto service business.Just know that...when using a coupon for any service....other things like shop supplies, disposal charges, etc. are added and final price is much different.

Very nice guys, but just like most auto repair places, they will try to sell you repairs you may not necessarily need- or not. Was told last visit that I would likely need new brakes before winter. 48 hrs later, rear brakes were metal on metal. Great place for oil changes, trust most definitely lost after brake incident.

I went in to Honest-1 today to have my car checked out before I go on a long road trip. The car is 3 years old and this is the first time its needed service since the new-car service contract ran out. I wasnt sure what might need to be done, so I took my maintenance manual and last service receipt and asked them if they could figure out what I needed done. They were super friendly and helpful. They did a routine check and said everything looked good. I dont need an oil change for another 4,000 miles or anything else done. So they sent me on my way-NO CHARGE! What a nice surprise! I went to them for service for several years for my previous car and now I know I will be going back to them for my future service on this car! 😃

Honest? I have no reason to think otherwise. Experts at what they do? I have no reason to argue otherwise. Waiting area is comfortable, with complimentary coffee (thats a plus for me). They keep you updated all the way and even give you a visual explanation of whats wrong with your car if the need arises. They arent the cheapest though. But who is these days?

Called for a quote and was shuffled around to different people. I was trying to a little tune up, new tires and an alignment. They questioned why I needed an alignment.Then when I asked about tire prices was told they would call me back lol still havent receive that call.

The service is always great here. They really make you feel like youre being taken care of. But I always have my suspicions of auto shops lol.

Wont be back. I sent my son there with his truck, with the discount card sent in the mail to us, with two items clearly circled with black marker - the semi-synthetic oil change and rotation. He didnt know what these even meant, which is why I circled the choices. The service performed was a full synthetic oil change and rotation, costing at least $30 more than planned, and shocking him at time of payment. This was definitely not a honest-1 behavior from the company.

They didnt finish the job. Had to return to get it done. Wasted my time!!!

I recently had an issue with battery run down overnight. I dropped my truck on Monday morning and asked if it would available by Thursday as they are constantly busy. I got atext about 9:30 the problem was just a corroded wire. A quick fix. I was presently surprised at the low price. I have done a few issues for my automobiles, love the quick response and pricing.

I have had two cars repaired at Honest 1 in Blaine, and I have been very pleased both times. The customer service is second to none, I worked with Tim for my repair and he was helpful every step of the way. Their prices are very reasonable, and the work is done very quickly and it is all done very well. I will be coming back to Honest 1 as long as I live here. Thank you to the entire Honest 1 team.

Josh and the boys do a great job communicating with me about the repair, cost, and warranty associated with the repair. If you live in the Blaine/Coon Rapids/Spring Lake Park area, I guarantee you will not find a better repair shop!
