This was my first time ever coming here, and I must say that they did a really good job and I will be a recurring customer from here on out! I was looking for a nail shop that did jelly pedicures, and they were the only one that I could find located in my area. When I called, the owner explained the benefits of the jelly pedicure to me, which made me want it even more! When I got to the shop I was able to choose what scent I wanted amongst a variety of them, including mint, lavender, mango, milk & honey, and etc. I personally chose the milk & honey and was very pleased with the scent and quality of the jelly and the scrub! I can honestly say that this was the best pedicure I’ve ever had. My feet and legs are so soft and the scent has held on for a few hours now without loosing it’s fragrance! The detail that the male worker that did my pedicure put into my pedicure and experience was outstanding! He kept checking to make sure that I was comfortable, and the water, stones, and towels weren’t too hot. He did a wonderful job! As I got my pedicure, Linda also came over and worked on my SNS manicure, and she did a great job as well! I greatly appreciate the experience they provided for me, and thank them for making my “spa day” great! I will definitely be recommending them to all my family members and friends! And I will for sure be coming back!!

I got a jelly bath the lady was rushing and half doing stuff i did not get to enjoy my jelly bath and it didnt last long at all cause she was rushing if you go please request the small man he is awesome do not get the lady with color in her hair

My son treated me to a pedi while I was in town visiting him. I got a jelly pedi (rose scented) and was very satisfied with it. It’s sheer luxury to get a pedi.

If I could give less I would. This used to be a wonderful place, but it has been taken over by new management. Since then it has gone downhill tremendously. My husband and I just went in for pedicures. I had a free pedicure card earned from being a frequent customer. I was told it was no longer honored for full price of pedicure, only $20.00. The card states Free Pedicure (35.00 value). I understand business/owner changes, but the salon is in the same location, operating under the same name. On top of that, the attitude was like, no we arent doing it, only 20.00. This is not my first bad experience since management change. I have chosen to spend my money where it is appreciated, I would suggest you do the same and NOT patronize this business .

I was told by the woman at the front that it would be 5-10 min wait for a pedicure. I waited over an hour without an update or apology. I wouldnt have minded such a ridiculous exaggeration on the wait time, but I had my 6 year old daughter with me (who was very excited to come along with mom for a pedicure). They knew everyone who was coming in and seemed to give preference to the regulars...which is great if youre a regular. If you dont have the time (or money) to go here every other week, I would pick another salon who may appreciate your time and business more.

I’m not sure how anyone could have had a bad experience here??!!?? Tea, Julie and their employees are THE BEST! Everyone is attentive, makes sure you have a great experience and gives advice. I drive from Alabaster to get the most wonderful, spa quality, mani-pedi. I love that there are no TVs which ensures that my nail technician is paying attention to me.

I came in Sweet Escape knowing that it would be one of the best experiences ever. My colleague told me about it and I just knew it was going to be a sweet escape. I have never felt so strong about a spa before and that changed when I came in this one. I already know my favorite spa. I might even consider holding my birthday party there!! If you come in quick enough, you get a surprise! I think the price is reasonable and a great spa. They were very welcoming and had a lot of nail polish colors. Also, the good thing about Sweet Escape, is that they use organic products. Before, I felt like my nails were damaged before. Bow, I dont even have to worry about them getting dameged ever again! The costumer service at some nail spas were not very nice. Once I walked in Sweet Escape, they treated me so nice like family literally ;-)! I love how the place is very creative and very modern! Overall, I give this more than 5 stars inmy heart. There is a place in my heart for this place. I know this is a long review but I LOVE IT

Absolutely the best spa Ive ever been too. They have great customer service and treat me so well! The place looks so modern and clean. My nails looked so beautiful after my manicure and got so many complements. The spas name says it all I came in stressed and walked out feeling relaxed more then ever! It literally was a sweet escape. I wish I could give this place a million stars because it deserves more than only five stars. The price was not too expensive which is great. Its is a great encoriment with great people. People greeted very kindly. I also love the fact that they use organic products so I feel more relieved that my nails wont get damaged. They nail polish was great quality and lasted on my nails for s long time which is fantastic! Also, they had many color options for me and I liked a lot of them. If you ask me if I would definently with out a doubt go her again! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!

I tried this salon for the first time. I bought a new set with jell and the tech did a beautiful job but the guy in the front walks up half way through and says oh you have long nais so it will be five dollars more He had already given me a price, besides I can have my nails short or long. Im paying for them. UNBELIEVABLE! MY NAILS ARE NOT THAT LONG ANYWAY. . i will never ever go back. WHAT A SCAM! I told him your kidding right he said no. I was so mad. DO NOT GO THERE. Its not very clean either. The star is for the tech only.

I came here and got a gel pedi which went very well and dip powered on my finger nails with a chrome top. Well less than a week later the chrome started to fade around most of my finger tips. I went in and had it corrected and this is the result. The pedicure was done fine and lasted for some time but this is just sloppy finger nail work. I am not sure if the original application wasn’t done properly by the nail technician or if the product was faulty but THIS is not how you rectify either.

Have always been happy with the powder manicures that I have gotten here. Unfortunately this time I have fungus on 3 of my nails from my most recent manicure so will end up costing lots in treatment and many months to get over. Wouldnt recommend.

I just encountered the WORST customer service. I arrived at 6:15. Their hours of operation are until 7p. The person that greeted me did not ask what services I was interested in. Instead I was told in a very dry manner that they were too busy (there were four people in the pedicure chair & one in the manicure chair) and to come back tomorrow. I spoke with the manager and was told the same. I generally come once a month at the same time of day and spend at least 100$ but never again. Ive referred several people to this establishment because the services are generally A1. Its a shame that bad customer service has overshadowed the talent the nail techs have. Dont waste your money or the time it takes to drive down 280.

Do NOT use Sweet Escapes nail salon EVER. I have been very a satisfied customer for over a year at this nail salon. However, I will never return after my experience today. I convinced my friend to go back there with me after she changed due to a poor manicure (from a former employee) and I truly regret doing it now because she was treated so rudely. She has no toenails on her big toes so when she has them painted, sometimes the color works and sometimes it doesnt. Unfortunately when the color didnt look right today she sweetly asked if they would mind repainting her toes and Duncan that works there became very irritated and rudely told her that she shouldve picked the right color, then ignored her and finally just said no. He then proceeded to continue a barrage of unprovoked statements such as: Thats why we dont pick colors., We work too hard and dont have time to redo everything. and my favorite: You ladies need to learn to pick the right color. Clearly we tried to explain this wasnt a simple mind change and she just wanted a different color but it was bc it didnt look right on her toes due to her problem. Obviously some compassion in this situation would have been the appropriate response but, NOPE, he did not care and continued to be rude. I am so embarrassed and so sorry that happened and cant believe it! Never, never give them your business. No customer or person should ever be treated this way.

Amazing place. wonderful workers and good music. very relaxing. their pedicure are the best i’ve ever gotten and i’ve been getting pedicures since i was 6 twice a month at least! the jelly pedicure is amazing and the buffet pedicure come with them rubbing oranges on you! such an experience! go check it out. all of a sudden you’ll become a regular. the staff is so personable and thoughtful! also check out the sns dipping powder. i have weak nails that break out before getting to long. the dip powder makes my nails super strong and able to grow super long and shaped to my liking all while being my real nail. this place is my favorite by far 10 out of 5.

Emily and Duncan were great owners. Emily certainly made up for Duncans lack of customer service and they never made clients wait long times. They have sold this business and the new Management is horrible. Whoever the tall trendy chic is gives preference to rhe clients she knows even if you walked in before them. And she doesnt acknowledge you either. My nail tech was horrible. He insisted that the Gel color i wanted sis not come in regular polish for my toes and after he painted my toes one color we go to do the nails and voila I point put to him the regular polish IN the package. Asked him to chanhe the color on my toes to match and he charges me an extra $5 for HIS error. I have NEVER gone back after going here almost 2 years and i will NEVER go back. I am now going to Bliss Natural Nails in Trussville. Lesa, Linda and Leda are awesome nail techs!!!

OMG!!! The Best Experience of My Life! If you are in search of a nail salon; this is the place for you! Recommendation the Jelly Pedicure...the absolute BEST!! Very professional and attentive!!

I have been going to this salon for years and have been pleased. I went this week on my bday for a pedi. It was the worst pedi I have ever gotten. Rushed, poor quality and they finished in 30 miniature what usually takes an hour. They skipped steps. They didn’t even wipe the clay mask off my legs properly!! Then just rubbed the lotion on top which left it sticky. I could see the white clay in streaks under the lotion. and the leg massage was basically non exsistent. I left sticky, went home and washed my legs off. This, after I asked for a towel at the register to clean myself up and they did hastily wipe off my legs but not well. The residual clay was very visible when I walked into the light outside. I basically paid $40 to get my toes polished. If they did such a poor job on me because they were busy, then they won’t have to worry about being busy much longer. Long time clients will go elsewhere. I know I will cause I’m never setting my foot in the place again. This is the first bad review I have ever written cause I usually say nothing and just don’t come back. Not this time.

The experience was the best experience it was relaxing music and if you feel bored the workers will talk to you.They have the best massages.You should go try the Crystal Jelly Pedicure it fells so good you get even choose your scented jelly.

I like this place. Ive been getting my nails done here for about a year and they last me a month with the Organic powder! I enjoy the Orange pedi as well and the staff are great as well!

This place is AMAZING!!! The reason the girl below was turned away was bc it was the weekend before Spring Break and they were swamped. The owner told me himself that they had to turn at least 30 people away and that he hated to do it but they close at 7 and they had to turn people away because they would have been there until midnight if they didnt. I dont blame them one bit. Their pedicures are very good and they take the time to give you a very relaxing experience. So if you plan on going for a pedicure and manicure give yourself over an hour at least. Basically Im saying dont show up at 6:15 and expect them to stay late just for you. In my opinion thats whats rude! Ive been going here a long time and Ive never seen them be rude to anyone!!! They are always kind and friendly. Trust me Ive been to every nail salon on 280 and they are by far the best and most professional. I always get compliments on my nails, at least once a day. I never did when I went to other 280 salons. They do the best SNS as well. Just ask around you will find out how great this place is and look at their pictures on FB. They speak for themselves.

Bad experience. staff was rude, they also told me i’d only need to wait for 15 minutes but i needed up waiting for 2 and a half hours. they seemed really lazy when doing my nails.

Ok with pedicures but terrible with manicures. I have friends that love this place but Ive been 4 times and wasnt too happy each time.

They have the largest dipping powder selection in Birmingham.You should go try the jelly pedicure it is awesome.The staffs are really kind,sweet,and professional.If you are in a rush you can just tell them and they will do it quick and neat.

It was ok not what I imagined for my first experience with acrylic nails. The man hurt me while trying to cut and shape the nails. They werent the color or shape I wanted either.
