Absolutely stunning!!! My nails were done so quickly and turned out even better than I expected!! Would definitely recommend and they have a 100 health rating as well. Couldn’t have been better❤️

Came by here to get my nails done before heading to school. The reviews give the impression that professionalism and cleanliness is a priority. However, I experienced the OPPOSITE (rough handling, pre-used nail file *not sanitary, and teens hanging around with their feet kicked up next to me) so I would not recommend this place. I don’t wish to speak further, please just DO BETTER!

I have found my new salon! This place is absolutely amazing! I got a pedi and hubby too, while we waited to be serviced we were seated in the massage chairs 😍! The woman whom did my husbands feet was gentle and took her time and the guy who did mine was just as awesome! I will be back later this week to get a soak off from a dip and a mani......love this place already!

Worst nail shop. Looks like a 5 year old did my nails. The nail tech kept dropping the acrylic when she was trying to apply it. She had to redo my toes 3 times cause she kept hitting it & messing up the polish. Some of my nails are shorter than the others. Then on top of all that they have the nerve to be expensive. First and last time there. These were my nails after leaving there.

Genesis is the best nail salon that I have ever patronized! Cindy is amazing and always professional. The salon is very pleasant and always clean. Lee is my favorite technician for my acrylic nails. His work is top notch. My nails lasted 5 weeks and would have lasted longer. I received numerous compliments on his work even after 3 weeks. You won’t be disappointed with Genesis!!

I visited this place for the first time on 9/02/21 and my experience was HORRIBLE!!! When I walked in I was greeted by a gentleman who was walking toward the back of the business. I stood and waited at the desk for maybe 3 or 4 minutes before someone asked what service I wanted. When I was finally asked, I was instructed to pick a polish. Maybe 2minutes later, I was seated in a pedicure chair. 30mins later my pedicure was complete and I was instructed to another chair for SNS. The lady name Rose was the technician I was assigned to. She was a NIGHTMARE!!! She filed my nails at an angle although I repeatedly told her they we not straight. I got tips put on and they were crooked to the side. I had to ask her for the nail filer so I could show what I wanted. She continued on after saying, “I understand and I know what I am doing.” After 20 mins of watching her and listening to her tell me that she knew what I wanted, I asked for the nail filer for the last time to show her again. At this point she got upset, stood up, and said to me that I would have to wait on someone else to complete the service for me. I was not upset and I responded by saying sure. The lady who completed my pedicure directed me move to another station and her exact words were, “ She does much better, so go to her.” My thought in that moment was, “why place me with someone who does not listen and does not know what to do?!!!!!” They young lady that fixed my almost DESTROYED nails was named, Rose Lam and she was amazing. After all, I will not suggest to anyone not to visit this place because I only visited due to not having time to make my appointment at my nail salon. However, I will suggest you run far away from Rose, her ego, and her attitude.

I came in on a Wednesday evening after a long week looking for a good quality pedicure. After reading positive reviews online I assumed they had great service. But to my surprise it was TERRIBLE! Overcharged me for services I didn’t ask for, acrylic wasn’t spread evenly, and the guy who did my nails seemed to be in a rush. I would have to say this is the WORST experience I have had at a nail salon.

They could not give me the design I wanted on my acrylics because they said it wouldn’t look right on short nails, I have had the same design on short acrylics before they didn’t even try.

Ignored me for 30 minutes, waited on them to ask what i wanted and didn’t even look up. wasted my time and made us feel unwelcome

I have only been twice but I will definitely be coming back! Lee is great! I usually have to get my nails done every other week and I went 4 weeks with these. Great quality and only took about an hour. Would recommend!

I found this place at beginning of 2020 and I love them! Most places a fill in with gel polish last 2 weeks maybe 3 if your lucky but here I only have to go once a month and thats only because they have grown out so much. I usually have the Men do my nails today I had one of the ladies and she did a great job also I highly recommend

I am in love with my nails 💅 I was kind of nervous with this being my first time getting them done. Everyone was very nice and overall the place was perfect. 10/10 this is my favorite place and I will keep coming back again💓

Y’all this place looks all nice and fancy until you sit down in the chair and start getting your nails done. The guy was rushing everything, three fingers are irritated, and if y’all are planning on getting a design DONT. It was sloppy it was rushed YOU are not the priority like they enjoy saying THEIR TIME is the priority. Some nail techs love their jobs and do really good but these people there are not those nail techs.

The staff is very friendly. The pedicure chairs are updated and the salon itself is very nice, and I am ALWAYS pleased with my manicure and pedicure when I leave. They all have a great selection of colors to choose from.

The manicurist did an excellent job. I am very pleased.

This is a great nail shop. My mother in law and I went for her birthday weekend. The service was great and the shop was very clean on the inside. The atmosphere was good and the music they were playing wasnt too loud. We will be returning to this shop.

I stopped getting dip done on my nails because I couldn’t find anywhere that could do them well and not cost a million dollars. Genesis did a wonderful job on my nails and their prices are reasonable! I’m so thankful I found a great salon!

Got eyelashes in Genesis. Cindy did a very good job and professional. Not only my lashes, she made my day by given me beautiful nails designs. Hope y’all give them a try!!!

This was one of the worst pedicures I have ever gotten.The tech scraped my skin,nicked my cuticle,the massage was painful and rushed, she didnt smooth the rough skin very well and the polish job was AWFUL.

They are NOT affiliated with the Genesis Nail Spa in Homewood!! The pedicures here are subpar. They hurt you. My feet hurt so bad the next day I could barely walk. I will NOT be returning here.

I was nervous about finding a new salon during the pandemic but my daughter referred Genesis to me. Today was my first visit with Mary and she made me feel welcome and gave great care in service and professional advice.

I asked for simple gel nails (oval shaped) and got...cat claws instead! To embarrassed to wear them now. Waste of money, most the nails are crooked and didnt even clean my cuticles messy clean up, just a gross rush job.... now I have to figure out how to rip these nails off before work.

Even when calling for an appointment you wont get seen for at least an hour after your appointment time. Also if colors look different on the bottle than what you picked out and you ask about it they insist the same and wont stop, then you will end up with a color you dont want so if you get gel make sure the color they get for you out of the back matches since they dont use what you select on the rack. pull your hands away before letting them start if its different even if they say its the same because if not it will be your fault for picking out a wrong color...giving two stars because feel bad they have a bad manager for half of it but really deserves a one star.

Oh my gosh! I had the loveliest pedicure Ive had in AGES! I expect to be disappointed, like I have been in a LOT of salons in the area, but Genesis did NOT DISAPPOINT! Wonderful relaxing salon - very clean - very peaceful.I had the best foot and leg rub and my feet look like they HAVE survived Covid. I cant believe my toes look as pretty as they do - AND my calluses are totally under control.Cant recommend enough!

Made an appointment here since my regular shop was closed. First I told him the knobs of pedicure I wanted. Did I get it? NO. Nail tech continuously checked his watch for the time as he rushed through with terrible social skills. I was the only black person in the shop & felt so uncomfortable...like I didn’t belong. Will NEVER EVER return to spend my money in an atmosphere as such. If you’re black just pass this shop right on by.

I love this nail salon. All the manicures Ive had here are done with care and detail. Ive worked with Tony the most, and he always does a great job making sure the manicure is exactly how I pictured it. If you are looking for a reliable salon to get your nails done, this is the place!

My overall experience was great. I have been twice and I am very impressed with how thin and natural they make an overlay look which is what I like. Atmosphere is very clean and up to date. As long as my nails are like I like them, I am satisfied. I wear short nails with a very very natural look so I cannot speak for all other nail designs that are done at this nail spa⭐️

They wouldnt honor my gift certificate because it went out of date during the pandemic. I didnt realize that it had an expiration date until this week. It expired May 11, 2020. Just a complete loss of money.

Really pretty place but over priced an not good results. Someone cut my finger. I always asked for ombré an was told they didn’t have time I would have to just pick a color. The quality of nails for the price isn’t good. I can get a better quality manicure for slightly cheaper. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Don’t always go to the most decorated place.

Generally my mom and I come to this facility for our nail services. Normally I have pretty good visits. However, today 7/7/21, was my last day. I had a very basic gel mani/pedi, and was completely overcharged. First, I was the first person to get there when they opened at 930, I waited around because they took their time doing other things. Two girls came in AFTER me and was sent straight to the back to have their toes done. Mind you, I was also having my toes done. But the owner decided to take them first. I know for a fact they did not have an appointment, because it was not mentioned. The young guy that did my nails and toes charged me $100+ for a basic gel mani/pedi. I didn’t get the fake nails (tips) nor a design, and I have not even paid that much when I did get tips. I tried explaining that I’ve never paid that much, but he went on to give me prices for my services. I’ve been coming to this place for years, and never paid that much. SN: there are not any prices visible so each tech obviously charges what they want to charge each customer. I will gladly take my services to another facility.

Very kind and my nails hadn’t been this flawless in a long time. I’m definitely coming back! Update from my first time going there, I spent $133 and I am so disappointed I don’t know what to do, Kenny wasn’t there so Tony did my pedicure and full set dip. My nails are so big and shapeless and people are asking me do I have on press on . You guys shouldn’t let employees do nails they don’t know how to do! And I could have did my own pedi, it was not a great visit!

They did a great job on my nails but they cut into both sides of my pinky fingers and when I paid I had only gotten a acrylic set with a gel polish and was supposed to be $45 but paid $50 and then made sure I gave a tip

Excellent service and nail care. Fixed a messed up nail service I had at another salon only 2 weeks ago. Was across town and thought I wouldn’t get back on, y side in time to get my nails done. Big mistake. Will continue to come back to Genesis.

Rude staff and bad service. Pedicure job was really bad, they do not like to take time to scrub feet and make bottom of feet feel soft. Rushed job. Racist staff, the lady whom did my feet rudely asked me was I Mexican. She told me that I was not American I was so offended. I left a complaint online and never got a response. Please not go to this nail shop.

I was completely ignored and overlooked. I sat in the pedicure bowl for 45 minutes as they serviced patrons who entered after I did. It wasnt until I was leaving, with wet feet that anyone acknowledged my presence. I will not ever patronize this establishment.

Its hit or miss here. They dont take their time and therefore they are sloppy and poorly done nails. There are a couple of women who are great but like I said if they dont take their time your nails will be horribly done. Theyre also very unprofessional and disorganized which makes it a little stressful to sit and relax for a couple hours.

I got my nails done there twice. The problems were, shape was uneven(coffin), when he was drilling he made my nails so sore. 2 weeks later and it is still sore. Paint is uneven. When I asked him to come even the shape he rolled his eyes and laughed.

I really wanted to like this place.It was clean and the staff were nice.I went in for gel fill in.The very next day the nail polish was peeling.I went in and they repaired the issue.Within 5-6 hrs the nail polish was peeling again.I feel like I wasted money,gas, and time.
