Gary and Ray came out to my house today to clean my chimney in my 1940 built home. They were right on time and did an excellent job. This included protecting the area around the fire place. They even had treats for our dogs! They were professional and left the chamber very clean and ready for warm winter fire!

Called to get our chimney checked (low suction) and to have a cap installed on top. Ends up they pick and choose whether going on a roof or not, and our two story house must have been an inconvenience. So, no cap installed. No going on the roof to check whats going on. At the end of the day, we ended up with a simple visual inspection and one of the two flues swept (which ended up being clean already). $250+. And we still have to call someone else to get what we called these guys for done. Very very disappointed. The pest control guy we had over a couple of days ago knows more about our chimney than these guys... and literally it took him 3 minutes to get on top of the roof with his ladder.

I strongly recommend that you call Santas Chimney Sweeps if you need your fireplace and chimney cleaned. They cleaned mine today and they did a great job.

Called and left a message to get a quote. They texted back on a different number and were extremely combative and rude. I asked which company they were with and they refused to tell me. (We had called multiple companies for a quote) After the other companies responded, we found out the rude texts we were getting were from this place. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful.

Great service! Gary arrived early with his partner and they very friendly and helpful answering all of my questions as we have a new home and have never had a fireplace before. They laid out a cover to prevent any debris from getting on the floor and left no evidence they were here taking very good care of our home. The fireplace looks VERY clean! My husband and I feel confident on the ins and outs and we’re excited try out our fireplace this winter!

Most disrespectful person ever. Very rude, sounds like he is belittling you constantly, and didn’t state his name or company name. When I ask he told me and I quote “don’t worry about it” Overall just make people feel like they are inconveniencing him. He will never get my business or my referral.

We recently moved into a new home and wanted a good cleaning and inspection before starting a fire this fall. These guys were wonderful - did a great job of explaining things and were very clean and tidy in our living room. My son loved watching them and enjoyed his coloring book :)

The fireplace looked good, however they left a film of soot all over everything. Floors, tv, furniture all had to be cleaned. Clearly not a appropriate filter on the vacuum.

Called Santas Chimney Sweeps to come and sweep our chimney because we were selling our house and the inspector recommended we get it done. After a guy swept the chimney the owner, Gary came to us and said he did an inspection of the chimney and wrote on the paperwork that other work needed to be done even though the licensed inspector didn’t ask us for anything else. We simply asked for the sweep and nothing more! This company ended up costing us another $300 because he didn’t just do what we asked of him. I guess that’s his way to get more money out of people. He wrote what needed to be done on his receipt so we had no choice but to fix what his “inspection” found. We scheduled him to come on a Wednesday to fix the other stuff. He went to our house unannounced on Tuesday did the work then called us while we were at work demanding us to come pay because the job was done. Remind you that he wasn’t supposed to be on our property until Wednesday and we had planned for one of us to be home while they were there to ensure the work was done. They also left the chimney shoot open and our AC has been running the entire time since they were here over 2 weeks ago. We couldn’t figure out why our AC was nonstop running considering the chimney had not been used or open in 2 years. You would think they would have common sense to shut it after they are done cleaning. This guy is sneaky and I would not call him.

I had them come to sweep and inspect my chimney that I havent used since we moved into our house in February. Eric was very courteous, friendly and went above and beyond. I needed some bolts to fix my fire place door and he found some and replaced my old ones for free. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks. They showed up early but gave me a heads up, they were quick but thorough.

Used B’ham Chimney Sweeps recently for routine maintenance and repair. They showed up on time - early even, which was appreciated. Reasonable price, and they worked their tails off. Got everything wrapped up within the originally-quoted scope of work and cost. They recommended several other repairs that were outside of their expertise, which was also appreciated. Good contractors can be hard to find — I would use Gary and company again, no problem.

Gary wears a top hat and brings kids a chimney sweep coloring book and talks about fire safety. Their inspection sheet is very thorough and he shows you, via diagram, what your chimney looks like and talks about its condition. We will certainly be using them again!

I would leave zero stars if I could. We scheduled an appointment with them to have them come out to inspect and clean our chimney and they never showed up and just ignored us from that point on. Won’t answer our calls and sends us straight to voicemail. I’m not sure how they expect to keep customers if they won’t even service those customers but... that’s definitely not how I would run my business. Don’t use them unless you like having your move in date pushed back!! We’re now behind by 2 weeks thanks to their incompetence. I would definitely go somewhere else.

As soon as Gary came into my home, I knew this guy was a professional. He took great care to cover the carpet to avoid soiling and when he was done, there was no ash dust to be found.After completing the job, I looked up into my chimney and was surprised how well Gary cleaned it. The price is right, service is excellent and I will use him again. My clean chimney is insurance against a fire. Great peace of mind.

We live in a rental house and noticed quite a bit of soot build-up on the ceiling near the fireplace. Also, the spark arrester on the chimney was resting on top of the chimney opening preventing the fireplace from drafting (thus the door build-up from previous tenants). For peace of mind we called Santas Chimney Sweeps on a Saturday morning hoping they could come by during the week to inspect the chimney. To our surprise Gary and Eric fit us into their schedule and were at the house within 2 hours. They were very thorough, educated us on the workings of the chimney, attached the spark arrester correctly and assured us the chimney was in good condition. I will not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others.
